V$Lock and V$locked_object

Hi,
If i query v$lock, i am returned a lot of rows with TYPE=TX and with LMOD=6 but mean while if i query v$locked_object, i don't see any objects are locked, For the same SID i find in v$lock, i also fined undo segments allocated. why i dont see any locked objects in v$locked_object?

This view stores all information relating to locks in the database. Important possible values of type are TM (DML or Table Lock), TX (Transaction), MR (Media Recovery), ST (Disk Space Transaction).
You're finding TX lock with LMODE=6. So your transaction is locking some rows in exclusive mode.
LMODE=6 is an exclusive lock.

Database Locks: The database system automatically sets database locks when it receives change statements (INSERT, UPDATE, MODIFY, DELETE) from a program. Database locks are physical locks on the database entries affected by these statements. You can only set a lock for an existing database entry, since the lock mechanism uses a lock flag in the entry. These flags are automatically deleted in each database commit. This means that database locks can never be set for longer than a single database LUW; in other words, a single dialog step in an R/3 application program.
Physical locks in the database system are therefore insufficient for the requirements of an R/3 transaction. Locks in the R/3 System must remain set for the duration of a whole SAP LUW, that is, over several dialog steps. They must also be capable of being handled by different work processes and even different application servers. Consequently, each lock must apply on all servers in that R/3 System.
SAP Locks:
To complement the SAP LUW concept, in which bundled database changes are made in a single database LUW, the R/3 System also contains a lock mechanism, fully independent of database locks, that allows you to set a lock that spans several dialog steps. These locks are known as SAP locks.
The SAP lock concept is based on lock objects. Lock objects allow you to set an SAP lock for an entire application object. An application object consists of one or more entries in a database table, or entries from more than one database table that are linked using foreign key relationships.
Before you can set an SAP lock in an ABAP program, you must first create a lock object in the ABAP Dictionary.

Image locked and can't be deleted

I just took over updating my company's website. On one page, there's an image that is locked and I can't figure out how to unlock it so I can delete it. Can someone help me?

Without seeing the file we can only guess. With that in mind it sounds like you have a page based off of a template. You can determine this by looking at the source code where you will see comments for editable regions. The best thing you can do in this case is find the original template. If you cannot find the original template your only option will be to detach the page from the template by clicking on Modify->Templates->Detach from Template.

It sounds like even though the Mute switch is not on, sounds are not making the, well, sound they should, and the volume buttons make a blank volume indicator appear on the screen that does not show the volume level.
I wanted to recommend a couple of things.
First, I would reset the phone:
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

If that does not resolve the issue, then you may want to try backing up to iTunes, and restoring the iPhone again but this time do not restore the backup and set it up as new to see if the issue persists without the previous configuration.

My iPad is locked and says that it needs to be backed up. My home is wi-fi hotspot, so the iPad is constantly connected. I am having problems getting to merely turn-off. Was there a software change recently?

Why am I being told that a JPEG file that I made changes to in Photoshop 6 (CS6) can't be saved? The message I get says that either the file is locked and I don't have permission to execute this or another program is using this file.

Back up all data before proceeding.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership, permissions, and access controls to the default. Suspend Dunning lock and dunning procedures

Event 0303 has this description: The function module called up at Event 0303 provides the option of executing further checks for an open item, which may mean suspending dunning or changing the dunning procedure.
Tried to use it but it did not work. I saw the program lSAP is checking first if a contract account has a dunning lock. If there is, it generates an the message and no longer executes the remaining part of the FORM..ENDFORM and therefore doesn't call event 0303.
If a contract account has an active dunning lock reason, is there a way to trigger dunning or suspend it?

Sorry for the confusion. I was actually looking for a way to override/bypass dunning lock.
Example: dunning should run on the account depending on status of the account and dunning lock.
Event 301 does the initial check if the account has a dunning lock and if it has, it stops dunning process on the account. Was wondering if there is a way to override this.

I have an ipad mini that has an iCloud back up window open that "says "this ipad hasn't been backed up in 4 weeks. BAckups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to wi-fi. When i press on OK, it doesn't respond. it's locked....

I recently purchased an I-Pad mini. It has an error message that states, 'this ipad hasn't been backed up in 4 weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked and connected to Wi-Fi. When i press on OK, nothing happens. The ipad is locked and i can only access SIRI, so i asked SIRI to open settings and i can see my Wi=-FI, but can't see if it's actually connected. I locked it, plugged it in, and hoped that it would fix itself.
i don't know how to get rid of the error message and the ipad mini won't respond to anything except SIRI....

Safari and ICloud locked and frozen

Safari has stopped working on my I-Pad mini. It just sows a grey screen and is completely non functional.
If I open Settings and select Safari. Settings locks and becomes frozen also.
I have to double tap the main button to close both Safari and Settings apps. Safari always displays the same page at this point.
I have tried to disconnect Safari from ICloud but this only produces the busysybol which will run for hours if you let it.
I have even tried to delete the ICloud account from the device but get the same busy symbol and no response.
I have tried various permutations of button pressing to restart but I still have the same problem at next start up.
My mail on this device appears to have stopped working at about the same point at the safari problems started.
Does anyone have any clues where or how to resolve this?

What I would like to add into this the script is the SQL string that the user causing the lock and the users waiting for the the lock to be released are executing.

Dead lock and Blocking Lock

I would like to understand what is major difference between Dead Locks and Blocking Locks in Oracle. If someone could explain or point me to good web Link I would really appreciate

Tony's advise is very good.
In simple terms a blocking lock is a lock being held by one session that is preventing another session from performing an DML operation on the same data until the holding session commits or rollbacks.
A deadlock is a situation where two or more sessions lock data in such a manner as each session is waiting on a resource held by another session so that none of the session can complete their unit of work. That is session A locks row 1 then session B locks row 2 followed by session A attempts to lock row 2 while session B now attemps to lock row 1. Neither session A or B will ever be able to complete thier transaction releasing the locks and allowing waiting sessions to process since each session is waiting on a resource that the other session has while holding a resource the other session needs. In other words a deadlock. Oracle detects deadlocks and kills one of the sessions freeing resources.

Ipad locked and can't connect to itune?

i just bought my ipad2 (used and just received it. i didn't have time to sync it with any other computer), and i put a password on it, but 5 min later i couldn't remember it. i tried several passwords but they were wrong. now the ipad is locked. so i read online that i need to connect it to a computer to reset it. so i tried to connect it, but now it says that itune cannot connect to the ipad because it is locked with a code, and that i need to put the code before the ipad can be used with itune.
so anybody have any suggestion on how i can reset or unlock it?
also, i also just bought a apps (navigon for 40$), will i lose this app if i restore it without back up?
(i know that a lot of people already asked this kind of question, but i couldn't find answer where the ipad was locked and at the same time couldn't connect to itune).
