ValidateRequestMode="Disabled" is not working
Hi
i have a Asp.net application which page which contains few controls( text boxes and other controls).
I am using .Net 4.5 framework.
As i have to input the html tage in the text , i have set the ValidateRequestMode="Disabled" for that control.
and the web.config file , i made requestValidationMode="4.5".
But still i was getting error ' A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client'
in my code ia m using a property
private string eventTarget
get { return Page.Request.Params["__EVENTTARGET"].ToLower(); }
Seems it is because of this property that the issue is happening.
could you please tell me a solution for the same.

Use Pop-up Blocker disabled policy not working via IE Administrative Templates on Server 2012.
I'm finding I can't make any adjustments to the pop-up blocker setting at all.
I've set Internet Explorer/Internet Control Panel/Security Page/Trusted Sites Zone and the option in there for "Use Pop-up Blocker" to be disabled. As for trusted sites we want to allow pop ups. however after saving this and using GPupdate /force
from a command line and restarting the policy is not applying.
We also tried adding the sites in question to Internet Explorer/Pop-Up Allow List when we found that the trusted sites zone setting was not working but it also does not work that way either.Hi,
You have to configure Pop-up blocker settings both in Trusted Sites Zone and Intranet Zone.

Fn touchpad Disable/enable not working on Msi GE70 20E
I recently got a MSI GE70 2OE 011NE with Windows 8, when i got it the Fn key wasnt working properly, some of the shortcuts worked, but to disable/enable touchpad didnt, i then downloaded the touchpad driver from this website, and then it worked.. then i updated to windows 8.1.. and after that once again it didnt work, but now it seems like the fn key doesnt work at all.. and my touchpad was disabled when i updated, wich means i cannot enable the touchpad again now.
i tried both touchpad drivers from this site, for both win 8 and win 8.1, wich didnt work.
What can i do to make the fn key work ?
update: apparantly some of the fn short cuts works.. for ie. sound, brightness and backlight keyboard brightness.. just not the enable/disable touchpad :(Try doing the EC reset procedure....
1. Turn notebook off.
2. Remove AC adapter.
3. Remove battery.
4. Let the notebook sit there for about 20 minutes.
5. Come back, insert battery.
6. Add AC adapter.
7. Power on and see if its working now. -

MMS "OFF" feature disabled or not working in OS 4.0?!?
Anyone else experiencing this issue? I live in Vancouver Canada, & routinely travel to the USA, however I don't like the HUGE AT&T roaming bill for text messages so I usually just TURN OFF the MMS feature in my GENERAL settings. I did this today after installing OS 4.0, and to my surprise DING, DING, DING, DING message after message after message kept chiming in!?!? I double checked the settings twice just to make sure. I'm going to be looking very closely at my ROGERS bill for the $0.75 PER message that I was receiving!!
Anyone have any ideas?

JasonI'm having the same problem after the update to 4.0, MMS is completely gone when I try sending a text message. I don't know where to locate the Turn off/on feature you mentioned. Its not in the settings under messages either.

yes, visible bounds is reading the non-visible masked objects too.
you're going to have to do it the hard way, loop through all your objects to get your bounds manually, and while you're at it, test for clipping masks and use the masking path instead. -
Firefox ESR 10.0.12 disables flash plugin - updates to the last version do not work?
Suddenly - without any actions by me - FF ESR 10.0.12 refuses to accept Adobe Flash? (System Win 7 64 Ultimate)
It started with a very annoying bar, which cost me 2 hours to deactivate, which told me to update an very old and unused Adobe Reader plugin. Then it insisted, that the Foxit PDF reader plugin was not up to date. Since I do not use it, I deactivated it too. Since I seldom use Flash, I just found out today, that youtube does not work anymore - FF insists, that my flash plugin is too old and it deactivated it.
This has cost me hours up to now and it is _exactly_ the reason why I use the ESR channel.
What I did:
Deinstalled Adobe Flash completely (using Windows). Used the normal Firefox update, which it recommends (your flash player was deactivated, please install...). No success, it simply goes into a loop, always telling me my flash player is too old.
I also installed it directly from Adobe (the Firefox version!!), in all cases it reports version 11.5.502.104. The last version from Adobe - but it seems to be too old???
I am spitting angry now - this kind of trouble is the reason I only use ESR versions from Mozilla. I do not want your chaos troupe to play around with _my_ installation. But obviously you found ways to do so.
If this is not solved (and no, I will _not_ reinstall Firefox, I will _not_ delete my profile) in a few days, Firefox is dead for me. I am already looking to Chrome and Opera. Many friends have these browsers - I am a bit conservative, and I want my browser stable and the look an feel should be stable also. I do _not_ want a new version every two weeks, which every time costs my effort and time to configure it how I want it.
The question here is: How did you manage to disable the last version of Flash, and why? Why must I now register here and invest valuable time to get my browser to work again?? If I had done something, installed or removed something, ok. But I did not. (And yes, up to now I did update Flash and other plugins, when I was prompted to do so)
Clearly _your_ management does _not_ work: If I use the solutions which FF itself recommends, it sends me in an endless loop: Install newest Flash, sorry, Flash is outdated, install newest Flash...
Is this the 'new security'? Bah. If you did this for the 'normal user' (which you obviously do not respect anymore), you failed. And you failed completely for me: If software insists to do things 'automatically', it should at least do them reliably, _or_ it should ask. But working in the background, changing important things, reporting nothing, and then failing is exactly the reason why I disable all 'automatic' activities and want to be _asked_ before some idiotic piece of c.... deconfigures itself - and stops working...
Hints to the Troubleshooting Info below:
At this time Flash player is installed, shows in the systems software list as 'Adobe Flash Player 11 Plugin', Version 11.5.502.146. The rest are my normal plugins. Serveral changes to about:config were done by me in an effort to make FF usable again, without nagging 'info' bars...Additional information - according to the wiki you pointed me to, it was correct to uninstall flash using Windows control panel. I am very sure that I already had the latest version installed from the beginning, because Flash player pointed me to an update on Windows start (as usual) several days ago.
The error clearly lies with FF, since despite an up to date Flash player it decided it wants it new - something to do with the blacklist? How can it tell, that its outdated, if it does not find it and not show it in the list of plugins?

I just updated my Ipad 2 to IOS 7, now it is asking me for a passcode. I never set a passcode on my Ipad, so how can I enter a passcode. Earlier today I upgraded my Iphone 5 to IOS 7 and it asked me to set a passcode, which now works fine on my Phone. I tried using the OIS7 passcode I use on my Iphone 5 and it did not work and now my Ipad is disabled. Both devices are on icloud and share the same apple id. The Ipad screen says slide to set up but then there is a prompt for passcode, not for setting up passcode
I called Apple Support and a supervisor helped resolve this for me on my iPad. I suggest calling them for help as this is obviously an issue with the iOS 7 update - she helped me without charge. I could be missing something in my upcoming description, so do not take this as complete - call them.
I had to update iTunes on my Mac Air to the latest version, and I had an iCloud backup from the day I updated to iOS7. Have iTunes open but do NOT connect your iPad yet. Shut down the iPad. Then press/hold the Home key on the iPad while you connect the USB from the iPad to the computer (an image of the USB cable appeared on the iPad). Follow the prompts in iTunes to restore and then backup using iCloud. When the iPad rebooted again to do the backup install, I got the same pass code issue and iTunes would not recognize the iPad without entering a pass code. I disconnected the iPad, turned it off, pressed the Home key while connecting the USB cable. When I did the restore and backup from iCloud the second time, it worked without the pass code issue occurring. -
I put the password in my Ipod and now I am trying to put it again but it is not working....I tried to connect with the Itunes and it is not working because to the Itunes work with my Ipod, I need the password first, which I do not know. In my Ipod is showing "Ipod is disable, connect to Itunes". I was trying to connect but I can't...what should I do ?

Disabling hot keys like "ALT+F4" using register RegisterHotKey(..) function and wndproc(..) function in c# windows application is not working as expected in few cases. Below is the description.
I am using C# Web Browser control in windows application to display Web Pages. We are disabling hot keys like ALT+F4 by calling the method RegisterHotKey(..) and capture the hot key message in Wndproc(..) function. Initially This is working as expected
normally.
But as part of new requirement, we need to set the "title of Web browser page" to its parent class(Win form) text property. when we are assigning text property of winform using below code, the hot keys could not be disabled.
this.Text = webBrowserCustom.DocumentTitle; //this keyword refers to WinForm which loads web browser control
If webBrowserCustom.DocumentTitle is empty then this.text is set to Empty string. In such case the hot keys are not getting disabled.
I am not sure what is the relation between text property of winform and hot keys disabling.

If you just want to prevent the user from closing the form, you could register Form_Closing event handler, and cancel the closing behavior by the user.

I dont think that a field can be disabled and allows to choose data using f4 simultaneously. you can enable the field and allow the user to select whatever he/she wants.
Then in any action like on press of save or submit button which the user will trigger after entering the values, get the value entered by the user in that perticular field and fire a query on the table/view, which you have used as selection method of your search help, it help is coming from data element then look for check table in domain. if sy-subrc comes 0 than go ahead else give error that value selected is modified.

I have tried to log into my apple account so I can download my songs onto my iPhone. It keeps telling me my apple id is disabled. I've tried resetting my password but that did not work. How can I fix this?
After resetting your password you might then need to log out of your account on your device by phone on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores if it's on iOS 6) and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it

I want to disable or remove Game center from my iphone. It's always pop up during i play hay day game. So i can not solve this problem. Any way i try to log in game center my several Apple id account but it does' not work. I am still stuck in log in page
The Game Center app is pre installed and cannot be removed from the device.
Best thing to do is move it to the last available screen.
Hold down the Game Center app until all the apps jiggle then sliide the Game Center app to the right from one screen to the next. This requires a bit of finesse, but it's doable.
Press the Home button one time to stop the apps from jiggling.
For the Apple ID issue, try resetting.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
Then try your Apple ID and password for the Game Center app. -
