Value based Permit in maintainance order at release and Technical Completio

Hi All,
We have used value based permit in maintainance order at the time of release as well as technical completion, So presently if an order is having a planned cost of greater than 25000 say Rs 30000 , then at the time of release system is asking for permit.
After execution and confirmation of order if the actual cost is same i.e Rs 30000 then at the time of technical completion the system is asking for permit again which is shouldnt happen, please check for example below,
We have used classification in permit using table 'CSEVPERMIT' and field 'PKOSTEN' for planned cost of order and field 'IKOSTEN'
for actual cost, Permit shall be called for planned cost and actual cost greater than 25000.
EG :
order 'A' Planned cost = Rs 30000 Permit is called at release  - (Correct)
Same order 'A' Actual cost = Rs 30000 Permit is called at Technical Completion  - (Incorrect and to be avoided)
Solution Expected :
If for order 'A', once the permit is called at release then it should not call for Permit for the second time at Technical Completion if Planned and actual cost is same.
Thanks in Advance,

Hi,
1. I would suggest you to use separate set of Permits for Planned costs and Actual costs ..
For Actual cost permits in IPMD put Order completion as 02
For Planned Cost permits in IPMD put Order release as 02
2. If u have used same permits then in IPMD for Order Completion do not enter anything
If ur looking something different then check User exit :-IWO10007 Maint.order: Customer enhancement - permits in the order

  • Production order creation , release and confirmation cycle

    Hi All SAP Gurus,
I am trying to set Production order creation , release and confirmation cycle integrated  to  xMII.
I am sure there must be many among you who worked on this before.
So can you please share your experience.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Ritesh

    Hi Ritesh,
I'll give you what I have been using:
    - Transferring orders to MII
You can trigger the orders by tcode POIT or an equivalent BAPI (BAPI CLOI_DOWNLOAD_TRIGGER_TRANS) or have the iDOC being sent automatically whenever someone creates a new production order in R/3 (using change pointers). In both cases you will receive an iDOC in XML format from SAP with the production order information on it. After receiving this file a BLS transaction will be required to read the XML file and store it in your local DB.
    - Releasing orders from MII
You can release the orders from MII using the BAPI BAPI_PRODORD_RELEASE (it will update the order status in R/3 to REL). After that you might want to update the production order status in MII local DB as well. Usually I have the bapi BAPI_PRODORD_GET_DETAIL in place in order to read the production order details whenver I need.
    - Doing confirmations from MII
After the PO was released, you can do confirmations against each operation using the BAPI BAPI_PRODORDCONF_CREATE_TT. You can send up to SAP good quantity, scrap quantity, labor/machine time, etc. It's a pretty intuitive BAPI.
If your system is not ready to do goods movement automatically you will need to use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
This is basically what I use in this kind of project. If you have any questions please let me know.
    Regards

  • How to block maintenance order from releasing if cost is high

    Hi Experts
If cost of maintenance order is more than Rs.100000(e.g); it should not release and if less than this value then it can be released.
Plz help me can i do this in SAP PM and how ?
    Regards
    Pooja

    Hi ,
In SAP PM there is a functionality known as Permits. You can create a Functional Permit and assign it your order type to acheive the requirement.Create a characteristics with currency format(data type) in the additional field give table name CSEVPERMIT and field name  PKOSTEN.Create a class type 049 and assign the characteristics created to the class.Give this class in the permit create (Tcode IPMD).Assign the range of the values by clicking on the classification sequence like > 50000Rs etc.In the order release option choose 2Permit must be issued else error message.
assign this permit to the order type or the Technical object.
Check it out and let know.

  • Configuring Release value based discount

    Hello All,
I would like to implement the discount based on release value in SRM 7.0 Central contract management. For this I have activated hierarchy for contract.
For this discount EBP condition type is mapped to ERP discount condition type. These dicount condition type has scales.
A contract is created for 10,000 Qyt and scales are defined for discont condition
    0 to 1000  price is 100 USD
    1001 to 5000 price is 90 USD
    5001 to 10,000 price is 80 USD
This contract is distributed to backend system and system creates a backend contract.
Now when a release order is created and if the order quantity falls in the range as specied above 1000 the relevan price is taken.
For e.g. Release order 1, quantity is 1001 the price picked is 90 USD
Now the requirement is even if a second release order of one unit is created against this contract then system should pick the 90 USD price and not the 100 USD price.
System should check for all the order quantity for that relevant contract and based on that relvant discounted price should be picked.
Has anyone taken care of this fucntionality , is it a standard configuration or do we need an USER exit. None of the document specifies how this functionality can be achieved.
    Thanks,
    Yatin

    HI ,
I think the function you want is related to scale.
Take a look on your customizing:
    trx SPRO
    > SAP Supplier Relationship Management
      > SRM Server
       > Cross-Application Basic Settings
        > Pricing
         > Process Condition Types
Open the condition you are using for contract, you are (like 01CT for
example) you are using Scale Type "BASE-SCALE".
"Max No. Dimens" from "No Scales" to "OneDimensional"
Clear "Group Key" field on both conditions
I hope this information will help you

  • Which PO value is picked in Purchase Order Release Strategy?

    I have one query-
My Material Cost PBxx is 5000/-
My VAT/any tax ZBNQ is 500/-
Suppose I have set up Rel Strategy as PO value less than or equal to 5000/- R1 and Po value greater than 5000/- as R2, the system is showing me as R1 instead of r2.
What to do in this case?

    > My Material Cost PBxx is 5000/-
    > My VAT/any tax ZBNQ is 500/-
    >
    > Suppose I have set up Rel Strategy as PO value less than or equal to 5000/- R1 and Po value greater than 5000/- as R2, the system is showing me as R1 instead of r2.
    Hi Ajay,
System triggers release based on the JEXS condition type value in case of tax code at the item level. In your case it is correctly triggering. However it will trigger based on the sum of line items at the header level.
    Revert any further queries

  • PO Release Strategy on Value Based

    Dear All My Friends,
i want to define the following Release Strategy, please advice how it will be done
Person A will Release PO  value <=50,000/-
Person B will Release PO Value >50000 and <=100000
Person C will Release PO Value >100000
    please help me
    Thanks and Regards,
    Rajesh G

    Hi,
SPRO -> Material Management -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Release Procedure for Purchase Orders.
Three steps involved in release process of purchase order.
    1) Edit Characteristic: -
Create characteristic for release purchase order. If you want to release purchase order on total value. So you can create characteristic for Total net value. Take reference of CEKKO structure and GNETW field for Total net value in additional data of characteristic. E.g :- Total net value u2013 GNETWu2026Click on intervals allowed check box ..
    2) Edit Class: -
After creation of characteristic, create class for release purchase order. In which you can take reference of
    Class Type: - 032,
    Status: - Release,
Class group: - Release strategy class,
And put reference of your characteristic, which are created by you in first step.
    E.g: - Class u2013 REL_PO
3)Define Release Procedure of purchase order: -
In this step four processes involved.
    1) Release Groups
    2) Release Codes
    3) Release indicator
    4) Release Strategies
    1) Release Group: - In which you can define release strategy group
    For Exa.: - Release group : - 01,Release object: - 01, Class: - REL_PO.
    2) Release code: - In which you can define release code. Enter value as
    Release group: - 01,release code: -01 u2013 Purchase Head,
    Release group: -01, release code: - 02 u2013 Auditor.
    3) Release indicator: - In this step you have to define release indicator.
    Like X u2013 Blocked, I u2013 Under process, S u2013 Release.
    4) Release Strategy: - This is the final step for release strategy.
    Assign release code 01, 02.
Click on release prerequisites, select 02 u2013 check box and click on continue.
Click on release status button, enter release indicator X, I, S and click continue
Click on classification button, Enter values of Total net value for which you want to created release strategy.
Person A will Release PO value <=50,000/-
Person B will Release PO Value >50000 and <=100000
Person C will Release PO Value >100000

  • Invoice Value tolerances based on the Purchase Order type..

    Hi Gurus,
Can anyone please tell me if there is a way to assign the variance (tolerance limit) to the Invoice document based on the Purchase Order? What I want to do is that when the Invoice is posted in the system, the system should be able to check the document type of the Purchase Order and then based on that the tolerance limits should be applied on the Invoice. for example PO document type NB- tolerance for Invoice plus/ minus 10%, Document type FO- tolerance limit plus/minus 5%.
I know we can do it based on the Vendor but we use the same vendors for a number of purposed ( a number of PO types)hence can use that.
    Thanks in advance

  • Value Based Status Profile

    Dear Gurus,
I want to use status profile for setting the document status.
I have scenario in which i need to use value based status.
That means a user 1 should be able to set the status if the Net Value of the sales order has reached A amount
If the Net Value is above A and upto B User 2 should be able to set the status. and so on.
I am aware of the authorization key in the status profile, but do not know how to link it to a value.
Your reply in this matter is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    KS

Not sure what kind of status you want but if you are looking for value based  credit release then it can be done through maintain authorization option in credit management section of basic functions.

  • Unable to change the order quantity value during save of sales order

    Hi Experts,
There is a need to change the order quantity value, based on some conditions, when pressed 'ENTER' or during 'SAVE' of the sales order (VA01, VA02).
We are trying to change the order quantity value (KWMENG) in table XVBAP in the subroutines userexit_field_modification, userexit_save_document and userexit_save_document_prepare of the user exit 'MV45AFZZ'. But the change is not replicated to field on GUI.
The order quantity value can be changed in subroutine 'userexit_move_field_to_vbap', but the subroutine is not getting triggered when user changes only the order quantity on screen.
Please help us in resolving this issue.
    Regards,
    Santosh

Thanks for your time guys. The issue is resolved.
SAP is not triggering the vbap user exit as the order quantity on screen is in structure RV45A.
There are two ways of resolving the issue.
    1. Implement the SAP note #513342 - Quantity change and USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP. But, it is SAP modification note.
    2. Write the code in VBEP exit of MV45AFZZ. This user exit is called whenever the order quantity is changed. But, it is called multiple times in some cases. Hence, need to write code to limit our code execution only once e.g. maintain a global table with our quantity & uom. Check when the quantity and uom in our table is same as quantity on screen. If not, exit from user-exit.

  • Billing value should not exceed contract(value based contract) value

    Hi,
We are using value based contract and in item category we set E in incompletion rule which stops me to create relaease order where its value exceeds the contract value.
But via release order we recognize revenue(service based revenue recognition) and we do billing directly through contract via milestone billing plan,
At present i can bill more then my contract value. Now i want to system should not allow me to bill mre then contract value.
I checked the option in VOV8 and VOV7 but all those are meant for release order not for bliing.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Satya
You can set the billing amount in milestone billing plan itself. based on that value billing will done.

  • How to maintain order of execution of the Queries in Data Model

    Hi,
I have 5 queries in the Data Model
Query_1 will fetch some values based on the selection criteria and inserts values in a table(say Table_1) using a formula column
The other queries will fetch data from DB using the records in Table_1
The problem now i am facing is Query_2|Query_3|Query_4|Query_5 is being executed before Query_1
How can we maintain the order of execution
    Any help will be appreciated
    thanks
    siva

No there is no join between Q_1 and other queries
all the queries are individually hanging in the data model
moreover we cannot have a Master-Detail kinda relasionship in this case
    please give me some suggestions

  • 3 way match and value-based material only

    Hi guys,
we have some problems with implementing 3-way matching in SAP for only-value based material type WERT. Problem is when we create a MIGO-posting for a WERT-material we get the error-message "Document doesn't contain any items" (M7061).
What has to be maintained additionally? Or what could be a better way to solve?
The reason why we need value-based materials is that we receive orders from separate legacy-systems and mirror them in SAP to be able to have 3-way matching within Logistic invoice verification. But the whole inventory management has to be still in the legacy system and only values should be posted in SAP.
Hope that you have an idea how to solve that big issue we have.
    Thanks for your feedback.
    Kind regards,
    Tobias

If you don't need any inventory management on SAP but only procurement I would also consider the account assignment category to avoid having to deal with any value and material master in SAP. I can have accounting setup balance sheet inventory account for the legacy inventory then use PO with account assignment 'X' using account assignment to the balance sheet account. this way, the value from the 3-way matech will post to the legacy inventroy G/L account. Accounting can then post journal entry at month end to adjust this value based on the legacy systems inventory valuation. Now, I would carefully consider the division of duty between the legacy inventory system and SAP procurement not to mirror too much since it will create a complex interface.

  • Report to view pending Purchase Order for Release

    Hi,
Is there any sap standard report through which we can view pending Purchase Order for Release.
    Regards,

    Hi,
you can use transaction ME28, this can give information of pending purchase order for release on release level.
but this transaction is used for releasing the collective release for purchase order. this is not an report.
if you want transaction for reporting purpose only, you need to create a report or query on EKKO table. based on release indicator.
