Value put in the maintenace view for field of DOC type gets divided by 100

Hi all,
We have a product table ZPROD_T which contains one quantity column (QUANT) of the data type DOC. We have also created a view and a maintenance view for this table.
The problem is that when we add new values to the table using the maintenance view, the value that we add to the QUANT field gets devided by houndred. E.g. if we put in 4 in the QUANT field (type DOC), the value that we later see in the table is 0,04!
How do we go about to solve this problem and get the correct value in the table? Should we change the maintenance view somehow or change the data type in the QUANT field from DOC to something else?

Yes, that would be an option, but I was kinda hoping there was another way to solve this problem. Namely, when we would like to have ability to have decimal values in that field, e.g. if we have quantity in sqr meters or meters. Also if we change data type to QUAN than we need to put values in the "Currency/Quantity fields" in the table ZPROD_T, and at the time we are not sure about what unit of measure we are gonna have!
Is it possible to keep DOC data type and still get the correct values in the table?

Activating auto PO Check Box in the purchasing view for plant level.

Hi Techies,
Right now i have an issue related to auto PO check box in the purchasing view for the plant level. There are three plants A,B,C.. For the plants A and B the automatic PO check box is visible and the user is able to provide input values. But when it comes to plant C the auto PO field is not available and hence the user is unable to provide input for auto PO.
Is there any configuration to be done to activate the auto PO check box in the purchasing view in the material master with respect to plant C?
If so could you please guide me with the settings?

Hi Techies thanks for you all info.
Now today i just tried to created a new HALB Material in the plant C which i had issues yesterday. But when i created today a new material the Auto PO feild is available for entry. THen i tried to go to the material which i created yesterday for editing it. But i was unable to do it.
I checked the transactions which most of you referred(Very Useful). I found that all the plant s had the same screen selction setting and set as Opt Entry. The field screen referrence for MM01, MM02 Transaction s are also set as opt entry. The screen reference for HALB is also set as Opt entry. Still i m not able to find the field auto PO in the purchasing field.
So does it mean that a material once created without auto PO enabled or visible can never be updated after that? But i think its not the case and we should be able to edit it(correct me if im wrong).
Really having my fingers crossed to find a solution for this issue.

Wsa reading the x-forwarded-for field

i'm hoping you can help me with a query
i have a load balancer in front of my wsas and i have a requirement for the wsa to read the original source ip of a client but i can't put the load balancer inline
so i've opted to have the load balancer pass the original ip in the http header using the x-forwarded-for filed but my logs still show the load balancers ip
i've checked a packet capture taken on the wsa and the original ip is in the htpt header
what do i need to do to have the wsa read the value in the x-forwarded-for field

under SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION | LOG SUBSCRIPTIONS | ACCESS LOGS by adding the %f value in the custom field
i still have issues as i think policy is applied to the load balancer address and not that in the x-forwarded-for field
also, the loadbalancers ip also still seems to be in the logs
i'll work on it and update this when i get a result

HT201412 I cannot open the month of March 2013 in my iPad3 calendar. I can however see it in the year view for 2013 and I can view the daily and weekly calendars for March 2013. Any ideas what has gone wrong ? Thanks

I have a new iPad3 and have found I cannot open the month of March 2013 when I tap on it. All other months open OK ! I can see March 2013 in the yearly view and I can open the individual days, and weeks, of March 2013 but I cannot see the whole month in the monthly view. When I try to open the monthly view for March 2013 it returns me to the start screen which shows all the apps etc and closes the Calendar app. Any guidance of what is going wrong and how it can be corrected. Changing the default view for Line Items in an Auction.

Hello All,
We have a version 5 client who is asking for us to change the default view for line items in an auction.
Currently, if you have an auction setup, and you go to the Line Items tab, the default view is the "Basic View". The client would like to change the Default from "basic view" to "price view".
Is there a way to change this default in the system? Can this be configured using query groups? Any information would be helpful.

This is not possible, bcz there is no VLV for that drop down and we cant set it to the price view.

From the iTunes menu bar try View>Show View Options. Make sure what you want to see is checked and what you don't is unchecked. You can do this (may need to do this) for any playlists, your main Library, etc.

OAM-Files do not run in the Content Viewer for Desktop anymore

After updating DPS today animations made with Edge Animate (OAM-Files) do not run in the Content Viewer for Desktop anymore!
What happened there? Any ideas?

I'm using mac OS 10.8.2 and InDesign CS6 CC

I have updated Edge Animate today also with all files working & previewing perfectly within Edge. Upon publishing as OAM files for use in inDesign, the Poster loads as per usual, mark Play on Load interactivity on highlighted content holder as usual BUT when testing in Content Viewer file remains as a static poster image - unable to load animated atributes! I thought perhaps it may be a new viewing option so also uploaded page to DPS Acrobat Workspace & tested & the OAM file has not been assigned as inDesign. This is a massive issue! Our Magazine front cover needs its usual animation. Also tested previous files already live and they too do not view correctly in Content Viewer since update, as well are just a poster image! Adobe need to fix this fast!

Why the system gives 1st priority to doc type for shipping con value

When we create a sales order the system take the shipping condition value from the doc type first,if it does not get any value then only it serch customer master for the value.
I just want to know that why the system gives first priority to doc type shipping con value?
What is the reason behind it?

Hi Babi,
Mostly SAP systems are built in such a way that it gives you control for same functionality at various levles.In your case if you configure the shipping conditions at the document type then (irrespective of what shipping conditions are maintainned at customer master)they are defaulted .This is required to default shipping conditions for some perticular business scenarios like all rush orders to be shipped from express shipping point.
But if yoiu do not want the more generic control then the same can be at customer master level.

Is there a way to set the default view for the App Store to only show Apps for iPads when the Store is launched?

I'm a new iPad owner and would like to set the default view for myself to show only Apps for the iPad when I launch the the App Store app. Showing apps for iPhone seems a waste of real estate for me and time spent searching for a particular app since I do not own an iPhone.

Making Quicktime the default viewer for .wmv files.

Whenever I try to open a .wmv file, my default program is iphoto. I have Flip4Mac and I want to use Quicktime to be the default viewer for it. I know how I can get each file to open with Quicktime, but I want it to be permanent. For instance, I download a .wmv file and I want to double click the new file on my desktop and Quicktime comes up so I can view the video. I figure this is a very simple thing to do, I just don't know where to change it. Please help. Thank you.

I find that this does not work- pilot error I'm sure.
When I right click on a .wmv file and chose "Get Info", a small window appears that has a section titled "Open With".It defaults to "Windows Media Player" and has a drop down window, offering me a choice of "Other..."
When I select "Other" a window opens that lets me chose an application. I select Quick Time Player and hit "Add". QT then populates the drop down window. I then select "Change ALL" which causes another window to open that asks "Are you sure you want all your Windows Media Player documents to open with the application Quick Time Player?". I answer "Continue" and as soon as I do that Windows Media Player is replaced in the Get Info window as the "Open With" choice.
I can't see how to make the change. Help!!

It is not possible to hide the design tab in Crystal Reports. However, in Crystal Reports 2008, there is the ability to password protect a file.
