Value types in report RPM_FIDATA

We are integrating the FI-CO to RPM. We have followed the instructions to transfer financial data from SAP ERP and ran the report RPM_FIN02 to create the IDoc RPM_INTF1 which then passes the financial data to table RPM_FIDATA. We would like to see the actual costs to appear on the table, but we can only see the value types 01-Planned Costs and 41-Budgets. Where is it defined which value types are included in this report?
Any help appreciated

Please check the following customizing:
Portfolio Management->Base System Interfaces->Financial Planning Settings->Define Financial Planning Settings->Map Financial View to Cost Elements
and map the views which need to be integrated.

    because in one line you are saying you want to create Country Key, which means your requirement is in some transaction whereas at the end, you say for report.
    Can you let us know you want to develop a report and if so, from which transactions, you want to take datas.  You have to be clear on this.

  • How to Create Custom 0VTYPE (Value Type for Reporting)

    For the project I'm now on. There is a need to "create" or "customize" the Value Type for Reporting. I now there are in a Field Called WRTTP in R/3 (Controlling). Is there a way to create or maintain those "values" for the Field WRTTP so it can be brought to BW as a 0VTYPE Charaterictic Master Data.
    Remember that Master Data should be consistent within the Business Language and the Systems that support it.
    Message was edited by: Jesus Cova Graffe

    Kamal, that's an option, but then it wouldn't be consistent to what R/3 has as Master Data. So we're looking to "customize" the WRTTP values in order to take them from R/3 to BW.

  • Value Type and Report Type in Report Painter Report

    Is there a way I can get both characteristics WRTPP and RRCTY in one table? Or, can I work with two different tables in creating Report Painter report? I need to get the planned values of cost elements with record type 1 and value type 10 to show under one column in my report.
    Your help is very much appreciated.

    use the selection criteria to restrict the field types in the query designer- use other variables to check the value
    if it doesnt reconcile- you can alternatively use a multi provider for the same thing- that way you will get the same amount in 1 column and you could restrict using the infoprovider column

    Regards
    Ramakrishna K

    Hi,
    the 0VTYPE is meant to differentiate actual data (achieved sales for examples) from planing/budgeted/forecasted.. data.
    0VERSION is meant to differentiate versions of planing/budgeted/forecasted.. data.
    Obviously there will be only one version of your achieved result but you can have many versions of your plan data: last best estimated 1, last best estimated 2....
    this will enable you to create reports comparing achieved result against forecasted results (with restricted KeyFigs) and measure the performance of your business.
    hope this helps...

  • Value type and Version type?

    Hi,
       1. can anyone tel me y we use value type in reporting?
       2. Version type?
    Thanks in advance
    Jani Sk

    Hi Jani,
         Value type is used to distinguish the type of key figures (amount,quantity) like whether it is is planned amount for future,actual amount that has occured,commitment amount ....
    generally Vtype = 10 refers to actual , 20 refers to plan,40 refers to Commitment.
    Version means 00 it refers plan/actual.......10 means period 1 correction values.....these are mostly client specific....
    These are very useful to make restricted key figures ....to see actual amount....plan amount....actual quantity...

  • About value type and key figure type

    Hello Gurus,
              please explan the different usage of about value type and key figure type.  what is the typical values for both infoobjects ?
    Many thanks,
    Frank

    Hi,
    0METYPE is a key figure-specific info object usually used to define semantics of the individual business key figures in BW (for example, actual, commitment, plan, target values).
    Its a bi specific field which is filled from extract structure field named MEASTYPE table COSR
    Refer to OSS Note 523742 for how it is filled and the following link for additiona information.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/91/ddd52b9ef30645a338e28aae443807/frameset.htm
    Note 523742 - BCT-CO: BW key figure model and R/3 tables for trans. data
    This note provides information on the key figure model in the area of BW Content CO-OM. It also gives an overview of the DataSources for transaction data and the corresponding source tables and value fields in the R/3 System.
    The key figure model for currency fields in the area of CO-OM contents affects the following info object of type key figure:
    0AMOUNT Amount
    The key figure itself does have any business semantics.
    The semantics of the individual business key figures in BW (for example, actual, commitment, plan, target values) is determined using combinations of values for the following key figure-specific info objects (see also the account model in SEM-BPS, note 407563):
    0METYPE Key figure type
    0VTYPE Value type for reporting
    --> 0VTDETL Details of the value type
    --> 0VTSTAT Statistics indicator for the value type.
    For example, using transaction SE16, the possible characteristics of the values of this InfoObject can be taken from the above-mentioned master data tables in R/3.
    The business key figures on the InfoCubes of the standard BW content were defined as restricted key figures using this semantics of the key-figure-specific characteristics.
    The conversion of the R/3 transaction data in the BW key figure model is carried out in the extractors using the ROMI_GET_VTYPE_AND_DETAIL function module. It primarily happens using the specified conversion tables.
    The following dependencies exist for the source tables of the DataSources:
    COSP_VTYPE for COSS, COSP, COVP,
    COSB_VTYPE for COSB,
    BPXX_VTYPE for BPGE, BPJA, BPEE
    If an R/3 source record cannot be converted using these tables, it may not be extracted to BW.The application log of the R/3 DataSource transaction RSA3 contains entries for the unconverted values after the test run.(The log function for the CO-OM DataSources was considerably improved by the correction for note 523655).
    The application log for the extraction runs from BW can be evaluated using transaction SLG1 (Object: RSAP, object information: RSAP_INFO)
    Furthermore, the semantics of a key figure are still determined by the time characteristics and the following key-figure-specific info objects:
    0CURTYPE Currency type (for more information, see note 517909),
    0DB_CR_IND Debit/credit indicator (for more information, see note 065075),
    0VERSION CO version

  • Report Painter - What is value type 10 Statistical Plan

    One of my customers is running report 6o00-001 Orders: Actual / Plan / Variance. This report is displaying a plan value when, they say, no plan value has been entered. I have checked normal planning and this is correct - there is no plan value. However, when I check the report painter definition, the column in question will display value type 1 (Plan) and value type 10 (Statistical Plan).
    Can anyone tell me:
    - what is a statistical plan on an order?
    - how can I remove the statistical plan value?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your answer.
    But checking the correction constructions the code do reference to the operation RKP5 and the posting are being recording with operation RKP1.
    I'm checking for a similar note but with this operation but I can't find it.
    Do you know if it is something like that?

  • Value Type 66  not showing up on Report FMAVCR01

    Hi Experts,
    I experience one problem on report FMAVCR01 [display annual values of control objects] that my consumed Amount is not zero because value type 66 - transfer posting is not included in the output.
    My client did a actual finance posting between different commitment items, funds. Is there a reason for not including this value type?
    Thanks for your answers
    HP

    Hello HP,
    Besides of question above, you might also have a look at this customizing and read the on-line documentation in the IMG:
    Funds Management Government->Budget Control System (BCS)->Availability Control->Settings for Availability Control Ledger->Define Filter Settings for Commitment/Actual Values
    Check whether you have excluded any value type at this point, as it will not be considered for AVC..
    Good luck

  • Getting Reason Code, Condition Type, and Condition Value in one report

    Hello there,
    I have got a Question for you all BW Gurus. I need the answer for this as soon as possible. I will assign points to all helpful answers.
    I am having a Sales cube, Delivery Cube, and a Conditions Cube which I built. Each cube is populated from different ODS. Means there are 3 ODS for 3 cubes. I am joining these 3 cubes under a Multiprovider.
    My Question is:
    We are using Reason Codes at Delivery level. We have identified an empty field in the delivery tables and populating this field with the reason codes. We have condition type and condition value only in the Condition cube. One of the reporting requirements is that we need to see Reason code, Condition Type, and Condition value in one report. I am planning to report on the Multiprovider. Since Reason code, Condition Type, and Condition value are not present in all the 3 cubes (means they are not common characteristics in the Multiprovider), I don’t think I can get those values in one report if I report on the Multiprovider. Please correct me if I am wrong. If what I say is correct, please tell me how to solve my problem. Once again, helpful answers will be greatly appreciated and rewarded with points.
    Thank you in advance.

  • Display Currency symbol with value in ALV Report

    Hi Experts,
    I need to display currency symbol with value in ALV Report like if currency type is dollar then $200.
    Here I am using field catalog type slis_t_fieldcat_alv and suing field merge catalog FM: 'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'
    I tried like this
        IF <fs_fieldcat>-fieldname = 'STPRS'.
          <fs_fieldcat>-seltext_s = 'Std Cost '.
          <fs_fieldcat>-seltext_m = 'Std Cost'.
          <fs_fieldcat>-seltext_l = 'Std Cost '
           <fs_fieldcat>-tabname = 'MBEW'.
          <fs_fieldcat>-ctabname = 'T001'.
          <fs_fieldcat>-cfieldname ='WAERS'.
          <fs_fieldcat>-datatype = 'CURR'.

  • Value sets and Report Parameters

    Hi

    parametes are
    dname
    empinfo
    (1)If i select Department 1o then
    in parameter empinfo should display the value only from department 10
    (2) i have created a value set for report parameters empinfo
    it only shows two columns like EMPNO AND eNAME AND THERE only two column space to be shows
    how could i make columns to be displayed in addition to ename and empno
    Regard

    Hi KittyCat101,
    If I understand correctly, you want to use a parameter to filter Status field that starts with “Is” or “Can” or “Fi”. If in this scenario, we can refer to the following steps to achieve your goal:
    Modify the available values for @Status parameter to “Is”, “Can” and “Fi”.
    Right-click the tablix or dataset to open the properties dialog box.
    Select Filter in the left pane, then add a filter like below to filter Status field:
    Expression: =Fields!Status.Value like (Parameters!Status.Value & "*")  Type: Boolean
    Operator: =
    Value: true
    If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.

  • Statistical cost element (Value type 11) line item entry in CJI3

    Dear all
    I am doing WBS settlement to AUC thr CJ88. Suppose actual cost on WBS is 100 rs.
    CJI3 report shows the balance to be settled to AUC. Now It is showing 100 rs balance. I carry out WBS settlement to AUC.
    Even though settlement has taken place to AUC, CJI3 is showing line item entry of 100 rs (Statistical cost element with value type 11).
    This also affects our reporting as in report S_ALR_87013558, because of statistical cost element line item entry, WBS actual cost is showing as (100+100 st'cal)
    Also, I read in sap note 666152 that we can define transaction type as not releavent for account assignment. But i dont see this kind of setting anywhere in transaction type.
    Can we restrict the statistical cost element to not take part in CJI3 (CO reporting)?  How we can avoid statistical CO postings.
    Pls suggest
    Madhusudan Patil

    Hello,
    Statistical postings could be generated, if
    (a) you have 2 co-objects, e.g. cost center and internal order. There is a default rule in the system, that in this case the internal order will be posted real and the cost center statistical
    (b) you have 2 co-objects and one is marked as statistical in the master data. Actual Postings only to statistical co-objects are not possible. You can not settle statistical values, they will stay at the object.
    Please check OSS-message 106968. It explains everything in detail.
    You can modify your report, that it will show only real postings (value type 04), but I wouldn't do it. For me it sounds that you have to check your value flows in general. They look inconsistent, if you do not expect statistical postings.

  • How to pass a parameter with more than one value to a report? (urgent)

    Hi, all
    I try to pass a parameter from a search form to a report in
    which I would like to print out my search result. My problem is
    I can pass the parameter to report but only one value which my
    cursor points to. could anyone tell me how to pass a list of
    value to the report? my trigger in form like this:
    declare
    PL_ID PARAMLIST;
    sc_no books.c_no%type;
    begin
    PL_ID := GET_PARAMETER_LIST('parametername');
    IF NOT ID_NULL(PL_ID) THEN
    DESTROY_PARAMETER_LIST(PL_ID);
    END IF;
    PL_ID := CREATE_PARAMETER_LIST('parametername');
    IF ID_NULL(PL_ID) THEN
    MESSAGE('PL/SQL held against Button failed to execute');
    RAISE FORM_TRIGGER_FAILURE;
    END IF;
    ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'PARAMFORM', TEXT_PARAMETER,'NO');
    sc_no := :searchlist.c_no; --(c_no is the value I want to pass
    but not only one.)
    ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'pamametername', TEXT_PARAMETER, sc_no);
    RUN_PRODUCT(REPORTS, 'reportpathname.rep', SYNCHRONOUS, RUNTIME,
    FILESYSTEM, PL_ID, NULL);
    end;
    Thank you in advance
    Diana

    Is it your values in parameter NO separated by coma? And is it
    parameter in where clause?
    Do you want something like :
    from table
    where s_no in (NO) ?
    If is answer "yes" you can create lexical parameter in report.
    You can write in report sowething like:
    select a.field1, a.field2,.....
    from table a
    &COND /* this is if is condition only one line after "from".
    if you have more lien after where then you will put this &COND
    in line where you want to have your multivalue.
    Then in your trigger in form you should write:
    sc_no := 'where a.sc_no in ('||:searchlist.c_no||')';
    ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'pamametername', TEXT_PARAMETER, sc_no);
    /* again this is if you have only one line with WHERE ili
    conditions */
    or you will write:
    sc_no := 'and a.sc_no in ('||:searchlist.c_no||')';
    ADD_PARAMETER(PL_ID, 'pamametername', TEXT_PARAMETER, sc_no);
    It will substitute line in which is your conditions with
    multivalue.
