Variable input for the time shift NEXT()

Hi Sap support,
Is there any way to make the parameter on the time shift 'TIME=NEXT(%var%)'
the idea is the user would input/send the value that will be place on the NEXT parameter..
I've tried using the get statement but it doesn't retrieve the values.,..
*REC(ACCOUNT="ACCT1",TIME=NEXT(GET(ACCOUNT="ACCT2")))

Hi Rey,
First you have to create a DM dtsx file then go to modify -> view package file -> advance
disable a standard prompt by using " ' " then replace it using script like this
PROMPT(TEXT,%Dimension%,"Select Dimension",,"") << this prompt could only work on one selection only
under the execute formula logic file place this
TASK(Execute formulas,FORMULASCRIPT,"*FUNCTION LOGICPARAM=%Dimension%|")
Done from here and then save the Dtsx
open your script, and make this additional script
*SELECT (%DimensionID%,"ID","Dimension","[CALC]='N' and [ID]=substring('LOGICPARAM',1,charindex('|' , 'LOGICPARAM')-1)")
and then place that %DimensionID% anywhere on the script. But remember while script run on input schedule can take CV as xdim will not work with this one, you have to make xdim to all dimension in application in your script each time after commit.

        The process that we want to achieve is we want to make a sort of scheduling for the transactions.
where the date of the lenght of the transaction is to be inputted in months. and for that we need to make use of the time shift NEXT. but the length should be variable because it is inputted.

So I have been using my iPad for a few months now and I recently noticed that the time display next to the playlist name in the music app that is supposed to display the total song count and time of a playlist is way off. I have a 25 song playlist that is around 2 hours on my computer appears as 2003 minutes on my iPad. It's a smart playlist limited to 25 songs if that makes any difference. Is this happening to anyone else? Any help would be appreciated!

First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
Once the computer is back up and running open iCal and test.

OS X 10.6 comes in the form of a physical CD. You could start by calling your local Apple store and seeing if they still have any.

HT4970 I have chosen not to use iCloud for the time being, and cannot get the Reminders i input on my Mac to replicate to my iphone and iPad? any help is appreciated.

1. will it sync to my reminders on my MAC too if i enter via icloud? if not, what's the reason for having the reminder list available on my Mac if it can't sync?
2. I have 2 different email accounts, one with a .mac address and another with .msn. both can be accessed via icloud. i ran a test using my msn acct as the signin and it logged the reminder onto both the iphone and ipad fine.
however, when i try with my mac address, it only shows up on my iphone, which list reminders under icloud(which worked on both devices and then under mac which worked only on the iphone, not ipad. any idea why that might be happening?

Yes you can but you need to partition the drive into at least 2 separate drives.
To do that you need to use a Windows PC to do the first partitioning. Say you split the drive into two partitions each 1TB (or close to 1TB) each.
Partition fand format both partitions on a Win PC as one NTFS and the other FAT32.
Then move it to the Mac and Reformat the FAT32 partition Mac Extended (Journaled) with a GUID Partition Table.
I have that same drive and that is what I did originally with it. I now have it just for the Mac as I have other externals for the Win systems.

Secondly, I come to your question: Did anything change on your Mac recently, such as replacing the disk or main logic board?
The answer is “yes”. Two events have happened both of which concerned the Time Capsule:
The telephone company, with which I have access to the Internet and I have my email account, installed a new modum. After the technician left I had to try and get the Time Capsule and WiFi working again which ended with my having to call Apple for technical assistance. The Apple technician walked me through a number of procedural steps which effectively re-set up the Time Capsule.
Access to the Internet failed and the telephone company reset the modum. I had to call Apple again. This time the technician did not reset the Time Capsule but walked me through a number of steps tha included renaming the “site” (not the Time Capsule).
Another piece of information that may be relevant is that the MacBook Pro uses the Time Capsule for backup. Everything appears to be in order. When I enter the Time Capsule for this laptop I have backups going back for a long time.
Also, I do a weekly backup of the two computers onto another external hard drive using the Time Machine software. So I have another backup of both computers.

If a new SIM is activated on the same account for the same number, any existing SIMs for that number are deactivated.

My imac is running mountain lion and last night i downloaded maverick. in midst of installing it it said a powerPC app microsoft word would not work so i canceled the install for the time being. my questions is if i choose to finish installing maverick

What is the name of the DB Link and the name of the object you are selecting
from?
I find it easier to create a view on the remote object then use that in selects.
e.g,
Link Name = MyLink
Object_name = Addr_Loc
create or replace VIEW Rem_Addr_Loc AS

In the code I then use the view

1. What is effective the range for the Time Capsule if there are 2 walls 6" thick each obstacle the way?
2. Can I backup my data to my Time Capsule anywhere in the world using the Internet?
3. Can I use the Time Capsule to backup data on my iphone, ipad and ipod?

It is not that simple.. are the walls hollow or solid concrete..?? it is not the thickness of the walls.. but the thickness of material and angle of penetration.. remember wierless is a dead straight line.. Tx to Rx.. so a 30deg angle through concrete is a lot more material than just 6" steel reinforcing is really bad.. at an angle it maybe hard for the wireless to see a gap.
Through standard plasterboard.. rockboard in US I think. walls, with no insulation.. about 15% signal drop on each.. the TC should work ok in standard size house over single floor at least at 2.4ghz .. but the speed will drop as you get further away. Difficult to say more.. that is why apple make the extreme and express and TC can all extend wireless from each other. But all this is only 2.4ghz.
5ghz you will be lucky to get signal through two walls.
2. Can I backup my data to my Time Capsule anywhere in the world using the Internet?
You can access the TC by using BTMM via iCloud in certain circumstances.. we would not recommend backups over internet.. the possiblity of corrupting the whole backup is too high. Just use a 2.5" portable drive.. ML can backup TM to different targets..
3. Can I use the Time Capsule to backup data on my iphone, ipad and ipod?
Not directly.. they do not work with TC.. they work with iTunes.. and you automatically backup to itunes locally or cloud.. then Time Machine backs up the iTunes.
You can access the file and store files on the TC if you use a file browser app. But this is not the intended method of operation of any of those devices.

How can create room in icloud for the time machine on the mac

I don't like to be carrying a time capsule around. Just need some space in the icloud for the Time Machine. Is that too hard to do?

No, it is very simple really, iCloud does not back up from Time Machine, or any other OSX program come to that. iCloud IS NOT an OSX backup system.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad into Recovery Mode
