VAT for purchased materials

Dear All,
We have purchased 10 Diff materials with with 4% VAT Cr & At the end of month my client will decide to avail the 80% VAT for only 4 materials and 20% wants to add into the material cost. It will be decided on the base of consumption of materials
For remaining 6 materials wants to avail credit of 100%. How to achieve this ?
Any idea
regds,
CB

Hello ,
As i understand , based on the consumption , the nature of the material is defined  & hence subsequently it is decide whether the VAT on the material is deductible or Non deductible .
Unfortunately , your client will have to define at the time of procurement itself , if the VAT shud be deductible of non deductible .
This is so because , a tax/duty once levied will not change . A change wud ask for reversal of the entire procurement cycle.

  • Estimated price and Actual price for purchased Materials

    Hi Experts
Please advice for the below scenario:
We don't know the Exact price of a Material (Externally purchased) while raising the PO, so we enter an Estimated price in PO and send it to vendor.
While doing GR, We should identify the Material which was entered estimated price by some warning or information message.
Then we will go and edit the PO with Actual price, after that GR will be done.
Any idea how to achieve this requirement?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Bala

There are no facilities in SAP at all as per your requirement.
You can only achieve this via development. You have to use something different for those material in PO. And at the time of MIGO, the enhancement (by using any exit or badi) will check the field or field value in PO and system will show the warning / information at the time of GR.
You may also create new field in PO/EKPO.
Suppose for those material you have entered the value X and blank for the normal material.
Then system will check the field at the time of goods receipt. If system will find the value X, then system will show the information / warning message.
If system finds the blank value for the field, then system will not show the message.

  • Issue in Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud)

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to have a discussion on the issues, which I am facing at the time of Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from
    SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud).
    (1). Sales Price List :
We have maintained Customer Group Specific Sales Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :         Product and Service Portfolio Work Center > Pricing > Price Lists > Customer Group Specific Price List (Type of Price List)
Target :             We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :          Number of Materials in the Customer Group Specific Price List is more than 2,00,000
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can filter by number of records but we can export till  50,000 records.
And if we are trying to export records more than that limit, then it throws "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product and Service Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center
for getting the entire record set of the Sales Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Sales Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Sales Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    (2). Purchase Price List :
We have maintained the Purchase Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :           Product Portfolio Work Center > List Prices > Active List Prices (Type of Price List)
Target :               We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :            Number of Materials in the Purchase Price List is more than 4,00,000.
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can not see more than 10,000 records and the actual number of
records are more than 4,00,000. We could able to download the records till 10,000 but that is not sufficient.
We want to export the entire records in an excel sheet.
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center for
getting the entire record set of the Purchase Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Purchase Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Purchase Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
Please go through the attached screen shots for the references and more clarity on the issues.
I am waiting for the valuable responses.

    Dear Michael,
    The number of records :
2 Million (Approximately) is for the Sales Price List Material Price Data
4 Million (Approximately) is for the Purchase Price List Material Price Data.

  • One inspection lot for multiple materials of purchase order line items

    Hi All,
My client requirement is one inspection lot for multiple materials of purchase order line items.
    Please share your thoughts.
Thanks in advance for early reply.
    Regards,
    Jishu

    I totally agree with Amol.
I don't think I would touch that development nor would I ever tell a client it could reliably be done through development.
Knowing what I know about the table structures, I don't think you could create any development for this that could use a significant amount of the existing tables and functionality.  I think you'd have to create all your own Z tables and basically rebuild the functionality.  Tying it back in with SAP data will be difficult.
You're even looking at all custom screens for your results recording and UD as well.  And if you have follow-on functions like batch classification requirements, batch determination, COA publication, results copy functions, use of DMR and sampling procedures, physical samples, quality notifications, etc. etc.. you could be looking a whole lot of development.

  • Purchase requisitions for  raw materials

Iam having multilevel BOM and when I do Sales order MRP then Iam getting planned order for Semi finished items but not getting Purchase requisitions for  raw materials.

    Hi,
    Planing File Entry :-
The planning file is used to limit the scope of the planning run for the
total planning run. For this purpose, all materials that have been
assigned a valid MRP type are automatically entered in the planning
    file.
System will check the Planing file entry only in the case of Total MRP (MD01) or Total MPS (MD40).
While there is no need in the case of MD02,MD03,MD41,MD42,MD50.
Now how this Planing File entry activates,
    - Once MRP is activated at Plant level (T.code OMDU)system automatically maintains entry in Planning file for all those materials which contains the Active MRP type.
    - So if materials which are created before this activation of MRP in that case you have to maintain this planing file entry manual. You can do this either by MD20 or by using Back Ground Jon OMD0.

  • Materials available only for Purchase requisition creation

    Hi Experts,
My client wants some materials available only for Purchase requisition creation and some materials donu2019t want available only for Purchase requisition creation.
    How we can control
    Thanks in advance,
    Chandhu

    1) Solve your issue first you have to bifurcate between the materials where requisition is possible & where not...u can do this by selecting some field which is not in use presently in material master-basic data view & maintain some unique value for those materials for which PR will be not possible....otherwise check whether you can bifurcate it through material groups or not...
After this take help of your ABAP person and implement BAdI::ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST...here use the logic that after user enters the material code in PR system will check in the background what has been maintained in the said field in the basic data view of the material...if found blank then it will allow the user process further or if found any data in that field then system will stop the user from processing the same by throwing some customized error message.
    2) Use the Plant-sp.matl status in purchasing view as Blocked for procment/whse for those material against which you don't want to create any PR.But this will be plant specific and both PR & PO will get blocked.

  • Standard Report or Transaction for Outstanding Purchased Materials?

    Hello,
Is there a report or transaction that could be used to see a list of all pending purchased material requirements with requirement date?
So, pending Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders with a required delivery date?  We want to create shortage lists for manufacturing.
(think like COOIS where you can see planned and production orders, but for purchased parts)
    Thanks very much,
    Timothy

    Hi Ramagiri,
Thanks so much for your help.  These are the two transactions I was trying to use... unfortunately I ran into a couple of problems...
I tried selecting only specific WBS elements in ME2L using the dynamic selection, and it didn't return any documents (I know this is incorrect)... so I ran it without the dynamic selection and just applied a filter, which is ok.
However, I can't find the MRP requirement date anywhere in this report, which is the main point - we are trying to find PO's that are later than MRP requirements.  I can see the delivery date only if I open each PO from the results of ME2L search.  Did I explain that problem ok?
    Thanks again,
    Timothy

  • Goods receipt for purchase order with account assignment 'K'

    Hello All,
There are couple of purchase orders with acc.*** "K". On doing the GR for these PO's they have been done with mvt type 103 & mvt typ 105.
I understand that material has been directly consumed to the respective cost center.
How do track the internal movement for these materials??
I need to view the stock for these materials at the cost center as in MMBE the stock is seen as ZERO.
All these materials are with QM proc ACTIVE. So a goods receipt is done 105, then the inspection lot is cleared. However, in this case as the material is directly consumed, it is NOT displayed in QA32.
Is the above procedure correct??? Is it better to receive stock against mvt type 101 & then do a 201 mvt ??
    Request your inputs.....
    Regards,
    Manoj Reddy

Account assignment inventories are not maintained. To maintain a report for cost center receiving/issuing you need to make a customized report with help of ABAP.
Other way is to pull report in MB51, with selection criteria COST CENTER and it will give you result of stocks available on cost center. For stocks received on cost center, you can pull report with cost center and movement 101.
201 is used for goods issue to cost center from warehouse, the stock you receive from PO against 101 is directly charged to cost center, so no need to issue later to cost center.

    Hi
In import Purchase order scenario I am unable to capture part 2 for excise materials
First I have created import PO. Then I did miro where I posted BED,AED,ECS,SECss
After that I did migo and captured part 1
After that while I was capturing part 2 with ref to vendor invoice I m getting an error message as
NO CENVAT AMOUNT TO BE POSTED
NO CENVAT AMOUNT TO BE REVERSED
    We are using taxinj
Can u please help me out in solving this issue?
    Rahul

    Hi,
Once you have entered the needed information about the connection string and container, go to Object Tab and select the objects. then the Start button will enabled.
Another way to reverse engineer is to use ERD component. Refre to the Note 299067.1 in Metalink.

  • One pr for multiple materials with line items while running mrp

    Hi SAP gurus,
I am config the system for MRP as per my client requerement.
We use CBP for different RAW materialsfor example they having a 10 materials for planning, were,
             MRP type is VB,
LOT size is FX,with Different Reorder points and fix order quantity for all materials,
My client whant run MRP for all these materials in single time that means they whant multiple item at single levels,
i soles these requirement with the help of Product Group(sop) and its working but when we running md02 for product group all materials have planed and they give different purchase requistion numbers for all these materials but my client Wants single purchase requistion with line items for all these materials.
Pls give me the solution for that requirement.
    thanks and Regards,
    abhi

this is not the way SAPs MRP run works.
Where is the benefit for this?
the requisitions are not even split into header and item table, it is just one table EBAN, and either way you would get exact the same number of records in EBAN.

  • Is it possible to combine multiple Pur Reqs for multiple materials to one vendor into one PO through MD07?

We have material planners who use MD07 (traffic signal screen) Stock/Requirements List, Collective Access tab to review material requirements by MRP Controller.  Once the list is created, they select individual materials and review them in MD04.  In a lot of cases, Purchase Reqs (PRs) are reviewed and adopted into POs individually for each material.  Sometimes they will combine multiple PRs for one material into one PO.  This is a good practice.  However, from what I have found, it is not possible to combine multiple PRs for multiple materials into one PO.  If this was done it would dramatically reduce the number of POs that we are issuing to suppliers.  Problem statement:  We issue too many POs which causes additional influxes down the line (receiving dock/goods receipts processing, receiving issues, invoices, invoice issues, etc.).  Does anyone know of a way to address this problem without a major overhaul in approach or customization of the system?  Thank you in advance!

    Hello Michael
As far as I know, this is not possible directly from MD07, only from the MM transactions.
The following thread suggests the following procedure to convert several PRs into one PO:
Conversion of multiple PR into single P.O
Drag and drop the first PR from the item overview to the shopping card on top of ME21N,
then open the PO detail delivery schedule tab and drag  and drop all other PR to the shopping card shown  in the schedule tab
You can use the same procedure, calling the order conversion from MD07 and then drag and drop another PRs into this PO.
