Verizon Cloud Contacts Issue

I have photos, video, and contacts in my Verizon Cloud account. The photos and videos updated onto my new iPhone 5c, but the contacts did not. I can only access them through the Verizon Cloud app. How can I get the contacts to appear in my Contact folder on my phone?

    Hi casy6!
I want to ensure you're able to get your contacts on your new iPhone 5c.  You will need to install the Backup Assistant application for your new device http://vz.to/1i51t4A.  Have you installed the Backup Assistant application onto your previous device and had it synced your contacts prior to activating your new device?  If so, once you install the application, it will prompt you to enter your Backup Assistant PIN and it will then restore your contacts to your new device.  Let me know how this works out for you.  Thanks!

  • How to import Verizon Cloud contacts to new iPhone 6

My HTC DNA battery quit working and would no longer boot up. Luckily I had my contacts backed up to Verizon Cloud. I just purchased a new iPhone 6, however, my contacts will not import to the new IPhone 6. What am I doing wrong? It doesn't give me the option of "restoring" contacts, only restore media to the new phone.

wow thats a hard one. Not that many people have that phone. I would probably say go to store and let them try it on the machine. Since its such an old phone its going to be hard. If you synk with outlook tho I am sure you can do it.

  • Verizon Cloud contacts

I have saved my contacts using the verizon cloud.  This morning I deleted my email from my Iphone 5 and now my contacts are gone as well.  How do I upload my contacts from verizon cloud?

Open the Verizon Cloud app and there should be a menu option to RESTORE

  • Deleting duplicates in the verizon cloud contacts

I need to send contacts to new razr replacement due to damage. How do I eliminate the duplicates in the cloud?

It is pretty easy. Restore all of the contacts to your phone. Change the contact storage to google. Log into Gmail and you can either merge or eliminate duplicates, leave your phone set to sync to google and never worry about it again.
with Verizon BUA or Cloud, you will run the risk of not all of your contacts being synced and or backed up to numbers within being mixed up to duplicates and triplicates.  Before you do anything though make sure they are actually duplicates as BUA/Cloud has a habit of making 3 contact entries for people with 3 numbers

  • Cloud contact issue

Both my wife and I have iphones and I updated them to the new os and the cloud, but when it asked for apple id i put the same id for both phones.  Now We both have the same contacts ie:  Hers and mine migrated into 1.  So I thought if I delete hers off mine one by one it would fix the problem.  Well once I delete it off my phone a minute later it is gone from hers too.  Now I have read that you need to delete account and give each their own cloud apple id to solve this but when I go to do that on my phone it says it will delete all off my phone as well.  We now have 100's of contacts and I really don't want to have to write them all down and then reenter them all one by one on the appropriate phones.  So is there a way to resolve this issue?

This is how we resolved it. Used a 32GB Flash Drive formatted the drive HFS+ and then copied the PKG folder and files and then brought them to the target Mac and copied the files over and ran the PKG and Exceptions install. Everything seems to be installing fine now.

  • Verizon Cloud Contacts Backup

If I delete contacts on my phone that are backed up to the cloud will it delete them from the cloud?
I don't want the numbers stored on my phone anymore but would like to be able to retrieve them in the future if I change my mind.

I understand your desire to keep a copy of certain contacts online and not on your phone brilpitch! The cloud gets updated everytime you sync your device with it. If you want to keep a copy different than what is on your phone, I recommend creating a file with the contacts currently listed and save it to your hard drive.

  • Verizon Cloud Trashed My Contacts

Tried to use Verizon Cloud to backup my contacts.  The first thing I noticed is that it said it was backing up only six of my contacts.  Then after it was "done" it only showed one.  Tried several attempts at performing the backup.  Nothing changed; it said it was backing up only 6 and actually backed up one.
I then went back into my contacts and noticed it had trashed the one contact it actually backed up.  Several days later I went to my contacts to make a phone call and noticed it had removed some of my important phone numbers.  Verizon Cloud has been removed from my phone and home computers.
I should have tried the Verizon Cloud before I changed plans to get more space on this worthless application.  I gave up my free 2x upgrade on my data just for this?  Verizon ... you have some work to do!!  It won't be long before the word gets out on this SLOW and DESTRUCTIVE application.
I sure wish there was a way to go back to my old plan and get my free 2x upgrade on my data.  Verizon ... are you listening?!?!?!

First, don't tell me that there are no reported issues regarding the Verizon Cloud messing with contact lists.  A Google search reveals many complaints in these regards.
Yes, my contacts were also backed up using Google services.  However, after your services changed my contact information it was updated quickly by Google services.  I had to manually rebuild my contact list after your services trashed my contacts.
No, a resolution ticket was never filed.  And just what good is that going to do?
I have a Galaxy Note 3 as my current phone.
It took me so long to reply as I was having major surgery and was unable to reply to your request.
BTW ... as of now I would like to go back to my previous plan with the 4 GB of data.  One of the factors in changing plans was the anticipation of using Verizon Cloud as my backup.  As of now, Verizon Cloud not only trashed my contact list, it is VERY, VERY slow.  It said it would take DAYS to backup just my 16 GB of music.  Honestly, tell me what good a backup system is that takes DAYS?!?!?

  • Verizon Cloud Issues on S6 Edge

I am having issues with Verizon Cloud not restoring all of my messages, photo's, and contacts.  Is anyone else having this issue and what is the remedy?  I have tried doing a factory reset to no avail and I'm getting pretty frustrated as when I upgraded I made sure everything was backed up to the cloud before I even walked in the store.

Not only are my contacts stuck in the trash on verizonwireless.com, but every couple of days Verizon Cloud syncs to my phone and removes all of the contacts from my phone, and this has happened three times now! I never had this problem when using backup assistant, but now that I have the cloud instead it is causing this major problem.! Also, I downloaded the Cloud desktop application on my PC, and even though my username and password are both correct, it will not let me in no matter what.
Please get back to me asap, I am extremely frustrated right now

  • How do you transfer your contacts from an Android to an iphone 6? I have backed everything up to Verizon Cloud but I can't get the two phone to pair up?

How do I transfer contacts from an Android to an iphone 6? I have backed up everything to Verizon Cloud but I can't get the two phones to pair up?

The problem is non compatible devices. You could go to a Verizon corporate store and they could try to transfer them, however many customers stated this has resulted in loss of contacts. They don't guarantee a transfer.

  • My Note 3 had 220  contacts, upgraded to note 4 and now have 72 contacts and my Verizon Cloud app shows error code 4600.  How do i get my remaining contacts?

I had a Note 3 and had 220+ contacts.  While I had it I performed a factory reset several times and always got all of my contacts restored.  My phone was upgraded to  Note 4 at my job yesterday.  I completed a factory reset on My Note 3, turned it into my IT department and received my Note 4.  My phone had since only has 72 contacts (it was 56 then 76 and now 72).  When I run the Verizon Cloud app it will display an error code 4600.  While in the Verizon Cloud app, if I open detailes about contacts it states there are only 5 contacts.  i did use the Backup assistant on the Note 3 but that app is not found on the Note 4.
I went by the Verizon store yesterday, the rep stated that she needed the old phone (it was wiped),
How can I restore the remaining contacts to my Note 4 from verizon?

Thank you for reaching out to us, todfloyd. Sorry to hear about your contacts not all syncing correctly to your new Note 4. Let's see what we can do to get them all over to your new phone. Have you had a chance to view your contacts via your My Verizon page? Once you have logged in, please hover you mouse over the My Verizon Tab, and click on the View All option at the bottom of the pop up.
Once the page loads, please view the options on the right hand side. Under Additional Actions, please choose Manage my Contacts and Media.
Do all of your contacts appear there?

        Hey there zututu,
I'm glad to hear that you are using the Verizon Cloud to back up your contacts. It is a great way to make sure that you have your contacts saved in case you ever switch devices.
Are you just trying to view your contacts online? Are you trying to transfer your contacts from the cloud to your device? Do you have the Verizon Cloud application downloaded to your computer?

  • Trying to backup contacts--server error from Verizon Cloud

Okay, I've checked other threads and cannot find the answer. I am trying to backup my contacts from my Droid Razr HD before switching to a new phone. It starts the "provisioning account" process. Then I get the message, "Verizon Cloud operation failed. Please try again (code 4001)"
I have two email accounts on this phone, one a gmail account and one my work email account. I have the same problem, regardless of which account I choose.
Any assistance would be welcomed. I need to return the old phone soon, or I'll be charged for the new one.
    Thanks a lot!

I tried using the 4g and my local wifi network. I received the same error
    for both of them.
I will do as suggested, thanks.

  • Can't delete contacts from Verizon Cloud.

I have been trying to delete my contacts from Verizon Cloud, and I have selected "Delete all" and after that I get the spinning wheel of loading and after 4hours nothing has been deleted. Please help..

Walzinhammer  sadly I was left with no solution but to do an Erase All Content and Settings
this finally removed my 45 ghosts.
Then I simply turned on my contact sync with iCloud and all was good in CONTACTS once more.
...and now those 45 contacts change when I edit them

  • How do I push contacts from Verizon Cloud?

I have spent a long time cleaning up my contact list on the cloud, using my PC.  Everything is the way I want it to be on my phone.  How do I push the cloud contact list to my phone - TO REPLACE what is already on my phone?  I have the Droid Turbo.

I would recommend using a different cloud storage solution for stuff you want to keep as well as be able to access. Verizon Cloud is by far the worst of these and is always having problems.  I recommend Google for contacts (the other person trying to get contacts to update, change all of your contacts to Google contacts and set up synching for google, export them from the cloud as a file and import it into Google. They will transfer to your phone. Then you can update them using either your phone or Google and it is virtually real time)
For Pics, files etc... use Dropbox or Google or one of the other reputable cloud services out there. You will be much happier.

  • Missing contacts after using verizon cloud

    Hi,
I just backed up all my info using the verizon cloud app. (Preparing to go from Samsung S5 to S6.) Now, whenever I add a new contact it does not display in my contact list. I am able to find it in my contacts via search but, this means I have to know most of the contact name. I've checked my contact settings, tried multiple settings, etc. Cannot find them.
Contact example: have existing contact, which displays, as BMW - Stevens Creek. Added new contact, which does not display, as BMW - Hubbard's. Both will show up if I search contacts for BMW.
Help! I don't want this problem to follow me to new phone.
    Thanks!

Change all of your contacts to Google contacts, (use Contact Optimizer from the google store) let all your contacts sync and back up through Google.
It sounds like what is happening though on your phone is the list of contacts you are displaying is either SIM Card contacts, or Google Contacts (or a different one) and your contacts are stored as something different.  When you open your contacts up go to menu and contacts to display,  Check the ALL radio button and everything will show.
