Version 15 no longer allows copy to clipboard

We have been setting signed.applets.codebase_principal_support in FireFox to allow copying to the clipboard in Window XP and Windows 7. It has worked fine until version 15, and it no longer works. If we cannot use this feature, we will have to convert all of our users to IE or some other browser that allows us to do the copy.

So… of what I can tell so far, it is quite true that Firefox no longer allows scripts to access the clipboard, with the exception of making add-ons in the XUL environment. When I first ran into this problem in version 15 on a page I was running locally, the error returned was
A script from "file://" was denied UniversalXPConnect privileges
in response to the statement '''netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege('UniversalXPConnect')'''.
Nowadays, you’ll get
TypeError: netscape.security.PrivilegeManager is undefined
I first learned of this method of accessing the clipboard from [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Using_the_Clipboard one of the Mozilla Developer docs]. The article begins: “Mozilla provides a number of interfaces for accessing the clipboard”. I’ve not yet found any information about the other interfaces.
Thanks to Google, I did find a live link for [http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19957-01/816-6171-10/ Netscape Object Signing: Establishing Trust for Downloaded Software], which [http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/components/signed-scripts.html Signed Scripts in Mozilla] recommends reading before working with signed scripts. The Signed Scripts article says you should use Mozilla’s signtool, apparently from a suite of programs called [http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/tools/ NSS tools]. It provides that link to the tools, but the only link for the signtool program is to the source code files that you must compile. The [http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/pki/nss/tools/ man page] for the program is also at the Mozilla Developer Network. I’ll try to study this material soon and provide a more straightforward guide.
In the meantime, I found [http://forum.maxthon.com/viewthread.php?tid=79469 a forum] that talks about another approach to accessing the clipboard by way of saying '''[https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Rich-Text_Editing_in_Mozilla document.designMode = “on”]'''. This makes every element editable, as though every element’s contentEditable property were assigned to true. In fact, both properties came from IE.
In the forum I linked to, there’s a JS example were '''designMode''' is turned on and a [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/DOM/range Range] is used to select text. The command '''document.execCommand("copy", false, null)''' is intended to actually copy the text, but if you try this in Firefox, you’ll get
Error: Access to XPConnect service denied
I also tried toggling '''signed.applets.codebase_principal_support''' to '''true''' and restarting Firefox but, unfortunately, the JavaScript console still reports no '''PrivilegeManager''' property underneath '''netscape.security''', and '''document.execCommand''' gives its same error in '''designMode'''.
One popular workaround for allowing Firefox to add text to the clipboard is [http://jonrohan.github.com/ZeroClipboard/ ZeroClipboard], which uses an invisible flash movie. You can associate the movie with any element and it acts as a conduit for an element’s access to the event model. I’ve not used it yet, but the example works.

  • Free Version - Embed code does not copy to clipboard

I am trying out Forms Central with the free version.  I used one of the template forms to test.  I went to distribute as embeded code.  I copied the code, but it does not copy to the clipboard for a paste to HTML...only the Copy Link works.  What's up?  I want to test.

    Hi,
There are known issues with copy/paste functionality in the Google Chrome browser. If you are using Google Chrome you can work around this issue by accessing FormsCentral with a different browser.

  • My JPEGS are no longer being copied over to Finder.  Only a random fraction are copied.  It use to work perfect.  Is there a bug in the updated versions of iPhoto?

My JPEGS are no longer being copied over to Finder.  Only a random fraction are copied.  It use to work perfect.  I can move them 4 or 5 at a time, but it is very time consuming.    Is there a bug in the updated versions of iPhoto?

OK - here is what I've done in the past.  As I want to be able to save my photos on  a DVD that can be read by both a PC and a Mac, I am burning them in Finder.  I start by downloading into IPhoto.  I'll flag and edit the ones I want to print or post to the web.  After that I want to take all the keepers and move them from IPhoto to various files I create in the document  section of Finder.  I've done it both ways in the past, copy and paste or just drag over, all the files would transfer over.  Now there may be dozens of pictures that do not move over - very random, in one case there were only 6 photos and the 3 vertical ones did not copy over.
I'm wondering if this is a software issue or if there is just too much data being moved around.  FYI there are 2 Nikon cameras I use and the files from both do this.
    Thanks

  • Is there any version of Indesign that allows to open multiple instance at the same time

I am using Indesign CS3 to generate the bulk reports automatically(programmatically) using Adobe indesign library . One of the key limitation to this tool is it allows to open only one instance at a time unlike word where multiple instances can be opened at the same time. Is there any adobe indesign too version desktop/server which allows to open multiple instances at the same time. Any help on is appreciated. Thanks.

    @PeterG
You said "You might want to examine the End User Licensing Agreement (EULA) for  any prohibition against using these two instances at the same time with  the same license; the license does permit two installs for the same user  that are not used simultaneously." I thought that meant you had read the EULA. It's pretty unambiguous on that point.
For everyone's edification about multiple installations and server use with a standard license here's the relevant text:
    2. Software License.
If you obtained the Software and any required serial number(s) from Adobe or one of its authorized
licensees and as long as you comply with the terms of this agreement, Adobe grants you a non-exclusive
license to install and use the Software in a manner consistent with its design and Documentation and as
further set forth below. See Section 16 for specific provisions related to the use of certain products and
components, for example font software, Acrobat, After Effects, Adobe Presenter, Contribute, Adobe
Device Central, Flash Player, Flash Builder, and Adobe Runtimes.
2.1 Limited Use. The Software, or portions of the Software, may allow installation and use without a serial
number. If so, you may install but not use such non-serialized Software on any number of Computers as
part of an organizational deployment plan. Further, you may install and use such non-serialized Software
on any number of Computers for demonstration, evaluation and training purposes only and only if any
Output Files or other materials produced through such use are used only for internal, non-commercial and
non-production purposes. You may not use such non-serialized Software after any applicable time-out
period has ended, unless you input a valid serial number under Section 2.2. ACCESS TO AND USE OF
ANY OUTPUT FILES CREATED WITH SUCH NON-SERIALIZED SOFTWARE IS ENTIRELY AT
    YOUR OWN RISK.
2.2 General Use. You may install and use one copy of the Software only on the Permitted Number of your
compatible Computers into which you enter a valid serial number.
2.3 Distribution from Server. You may copy an image of the Software onto Computer file server(s) within
your Internal Network for the purpose of downloading and installing the Software onto Computers within
the same Internal Network for use as permitted by Section 2.1 and 2.2.
2.4 Server Use. You may install the Software on Computer file server(s) within your Internal Network only
for use of the Software initiated by an individual from a Computer within the same Internal Network only
as permitted by Section 2.2. The total number of users (not the concurrent number of users) able to use the
Software on such Computer file server(s) may not exceed the Permitted Number.
By way of example, the foregoing does not permit you to install or access (either directly or through
commands, data or instructions) the Software: (a) from or to a Computer not part of your Internal Network,
    (b) for enabling Web hosted workgroups or services available to the public, (c) by any individual or entity
to use, download, copy or otherwise benefit from the functionality of the Software unless licensed to do so
by Adobe, (d) as a component of a system, workflow or service accessible by more than the Permitted
Number of users, or (e) for operations not initiated by an individual user (e.g., automated server
    processing).
2.5 Portable or Home Computer Use. Subject to the important restrictions set forth in Section 2.6, the
primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed under Section 2.2 (“Primary User”) may
install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer or a
Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home Computer is not
used at the same time as the Software on the primary Computer.
2.6 Restrictions on Secondary Use by Volume Licensees. If the Software was obtained under an Adobe
volume license program (currently known as Adobe Open Options) by any licensee other than an
educational volume licensee, the second copy of the Software made under Section 2.5 must be used solely
for the benefit and business of that volume licensee. For more information about secondary use by volume
licensees, please visit our Web Site at http://www.adobe.com/go/open_options.
There is also language stating that if you have a dual boot or other system capable of running more than one OS you will need a separate license for each platform if you want to run the software on more than one.

  • File name too long cannot copy (cont'd)

This is a continuation of the post started September 01, 2009, with the last post on
October 17, 2011 named File name too long cannot copy
Since this is an ongoing unsolved issue, and the thread was locked, it continues here.
It is ever so easy to create a long file/path using explorer.exe as will be shown below.
What needs to be solved is, what is an easy way (no, not by listing out all the files in a directory to a text file and counting characters), perhaps using a shell extension, to find out which files in a directory and it's subdirectories will be (or were)
too long to copy, (and then perhaps even copying those over either intact or renamed)?
    Maflagulator said:
I'm running the 7100 build...enjoying it except for one big thing:
While attempting to copy 402gb from my main storage volume onto a spare 500gb drive (for the purpose of changing to a new RAID array) I've come across something that I would expect a Windows 98 OS to give me.
It tells me that a file has TOO LONG of a file name, then provides with two unhelpful options: SKIP or CANCEL
I never had XP give me an issue like this at all, so what gives? And while some specific files did have long file names (such as for songs, etc.) it had 7 issues with folders stating that their name was too long, but in fact they were not since they were
titled '07-06-07' for the date that I dumped the audio files in them. However, they may have contained FILES with long file names though.
Anyone else get this same situation? Perhaps the RTM version does not do this? Can anyone verify this regarding their install of the RC or the RTM?
It made it through 400gb out of the 402gb transfer.
I'm just happy to see that it doesn't spazz out about an issue like this until it has done all the other transfers that it can do because it saves the issues it has with files until the very end. In XP it would spazz about it the moment it came across it
causing the transfer process to halt.
Since long path/file names can so easily be created on Win7, it might be useful to see a typical way this happens, which might then give clues how to work with them.
In Windows Vista, we learnt from:
File names and file name extensions: frequently asked questions that:
Windows usually limits file names to 260 characters. But the file name must actually be shorter than that, since the complete path (such as C:\Program Files\filename.txt) is included in this character count.
In Windows 7, we are told here:
File names and file name extensions: frequently asked questions that:
It depends on the length of the complete path to the file (such as C:\Program Files\filename.txt). Windows limits a single path to 260 characters. This is why you might occasionally get an error when copying a file with a very long file name to a location
that has a longer path than the file's original location.
From the Windows Dev Center - Desktop, we read about Maximum Path Length Limitation here:
    Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces
This helps us understand why a folder can be a maximum of 244 characters, from the defined 260 length of MAX_PATH as follows:
    260 minus C:\ (3) minus <NUL> (1) = 256
    256 minus 8.3 file name (12) = 244
We also learn there that: The Windows API has many functions that also have Unicode versions to permit an extended-length path for a maximum total path length of 32,767 characters.
And we read the claim that: The shell and the file system have different requirements. It is possible to create a path with the Windows API that the shell user interface is not be able to interpret properly.
There is also a comment below this document that reads: In a previous iteration of this document, it is mentioned that The Unicode versions of several functions permit a maximum path length of approximately 32,000 characters composed of components up to
255 characters in length. This information is now gone.
So we are in a position where the file system and Windows API can create long path/flies that the shell cannot handle.
But then we need to be able to handle it, so a little exploration might lead to a better understanding of how to do this.
For most tasks being performed on long folder/files, Windows 7 and other Windows programs balk when the Path+Filename length > 260
    Let's create a long path/file.
Create a folder called A at the root of a Drive.
    Create a sub-folder of A called: B
    Create a sub-folder of B called: C
Make a FILE in sub-folder C called (no spaces or break, one long continuous string): 123456789A123456789B123456789C123456789D123456789E123456789F123456789G123456789H123456789I123456789J 123456789K123456789L123456789M123456789N123456789O123456789P123456789Q123456789R123456789S123456789T
    123456789U123456789V123456789W123456789X123456.txt
Rename sub-folder C to the string (no spaces or break, one long continuous string) (The actual directory created will be slightly shorter than this full length): 123456789A123456789B123456789C123456789D123456789E123456789F123456789G123456789H123456789I123456789J
    123456789K123456789L123456789M123456789N123456789O123456789P123456789Q123456789R123456789S123456789T 123456789U123456789V123456789W123456789X123456789Y123456789Z
Rename sub-folder B to the same full string above. (The actual directory created will be slightly shorter than this full length but 2 characters longer than the step above.)
Rename folder A to that same full original string. (Again the actual directory created will be slightly shorter than this full length but 2 characters longer than the step above.)
You now have the lovely file placed at (the breaks are just so it fits into the screen):
    C:\123456789A123456789B123456789C123456789D123456789E123456789F123456789G123456789H123456789I123456789J 123456789K123456789L123456789M123456789N123456789O123456789P123456789Q123456789R123456789S123456789T 123456789U123456789V123456789W123456789X1234\ 123456789A123456789B123456789C123456789D123456789E123456789F123456789G123456789H123456789I123456789J

    123456789U123456789V123456789W123456789X\ 123456789A123456789B123456789C123456789D123456789E123456789F123456789G123456789H123456789I123456789J 123456789K123456789L123456789M123456789N123456789O123456789P123456789Q123456789R123456789S123456789T 123456789U123456789V123456789W123456789X123456.txt
You have a folder length of over 700 and a file length of over 250 for a total of over 950
However you will notice that each folder, when created, could only be a maximum of 247 charachters including the path (example C:\ , & C:\A , & C:\A\B
This only applies backwards, that is up the path. It did not matter what was further down the path.
Now, you can't easily access or rename the file, but you can rename the folders easily.
For best results, start renaming from the top of the Tree, working down the subfolders, because renaming from down up will limit you, and in fact won't work if the folder lengths are too long.
So how might knowing this help us?
Well, to copy this long_file from the C:\ drive to the D:\ drive, and keeping the path structure, this should work:
Note the name of the top folder. Rename it to something very short, say: A (Make sure C:\A does not exist)
Note the name of the 2nd folder. Rename it to something very short, say: B (Make sure C:\A\B does not exist)
Note the name of the 3rd folder. Rename it to something very short, say: C (Make sure C:\A\B\C does not exist)
Make sure D:\A does not exist - then copy the A folder on disk C: to disk D: (which gives you D:\A\B\C\long_file
    Rename D:\A\B\C to D:\A\B\Original_3rd_Folder_name
    Rename D:\A\B to D:\A\B\Original_2nd_Folder_name
    Rename D:\A to D:\Original_top_Folder_name
Rename C:\A\B\C back to their original names, in this same reverse order starting with C, then B, then A
Note: If using Explorer, at some points you might have to press the F5 refresh key.
This is of course how you might copy such long path/files without using the other more "easy" techniques for the "normal" everyday user like:
    sharing a sub-folder
using the commandline to assign a drive letter by means of SUBST
using AddConnectionunder VB to assign a drive letter to a path
using the "\\?\" prefix to a path string to tell the Windows APIs to disable all string parsing and to send the string that follows it straight to the file system
    and so on.
See how simple Windows can be for Dummies!
But then, how can we know that files to be copied exceed this MAX_PATH? Or also after a copy has taken place, know exactly which files that have NOT been copied because of exceeding the MAX_PATH limit, and then a procedure to copy these either by renaming
them, or by copying them intact as they are?
There have been suggestions to use
LongPathTool, but this does not have a facility to check a series of folders and tell you which files are going to be caught by the error when copying. So once a copy has taken place using Windows 7, one does not know which files did not get copied, and
    where exactly they are located.
    Neither does the free
Old Path Scanner do that. It can only check for overly long directory paths, but misses out when the directory path is within limits, but adding in the file name puts it out of bounds.
So, as shown above, it is ever so easy to create a long file/path using explorer.exe
So, what then is an easy way (no, not by listing out all the files in a directory to a text file and counting characters), perhaps using a shell extension, to find out which files in a directory and it's subdirectories will be (or were) too long to copy,
(and then perhaps even copying those over either intact or renamed)?

This is a not a "solution" ....but a "work around": a low tech fix....for error message "your file name is too long to be copied, deleted, renamed, moved" :
    1.   problem is this: the "file name" has a limit on number of characters.....the sum of characters really includes the entire path name; you gotta shorten it first (i.e, if the total number of characters in the file name + Path name are over the
limit, the error appears).  The deeper your file folder sub levels are, the more this problem will come up, especially when you copy to a subfolder of a subfolder/subfolder of another path ...adds to character limit)
    2.  How do you know which combined file names + path names are too long if  you are in the  middle of a copy operation and this error pops up?  Some files copied but the "long files error message" says "skip" or "cancel" ... but not which
files are the "too long" ones.  If you hit "skip" or "cancel" the "too long" files are left behind...but are mixed in with non-offender "good" "short name" files.   Sorting thru 1000s of "good" files to find a few "bad" ones manually is impractical.
    3.   Here's how you sort out the "bad" from the "good":
    4.    Let's say you want to copy a folder ..."Football" ...that has five layers of subfolders; each subfolder contains numerous files:
      C:/1 Football / 2 teams/ 3 players/ 4 stats/ 5 injuriessidelineplayerstoolong
There are five levels root "1 football" with subfolders  2, 3, 4 and lastly "5 injuries"
    5.    Use "cut" and "paste"  (for example to backup all five levels to a new backup folder):
           select "1 football" ....cut....select target folder....paste
("cut" command means as the files are copied to the target destination, the file is deleted from the source location)
Hint: avoid "cut" and "paste" to a target folder that is itself a sub/sub/sub folder ...that compounds the "characters over the limit" problem ...because the characters in the sub/sub/sub folder are included in the "file name
character limit"...instead "paste" to a C:/ root directory.
Suppose in the middle of this operation...error pops up: "5 files have file names that are too long"  Skip or cancel?
select "skip"  ...and let operation finish
    6.    Now go back and look at the source location: since the software allows only the "good" "short name" files to be copied (and because you "skipped" the "bad" "Long name" files so they are not copied or deleted) ...all that remains
in the source location are the "bad" "long name files" (because "good" ones were deleted from the source location after the "cut" operation...the bad ones stick out like a sore thumb.
    7.   You will find ....all that remains in source folders are: the "bad" "too long" files; in this example the "bad" file is in level 5:
          C:/ 1 football / 2 teams /3 players /4 stats /5 injuriessidelineplayerstoolong
    8.   select folder 5 injuriessidelineplayerstoolong (that's right...select folder, not file) gotta rename the folder first.
    9.  hit F2 rename folder..folder name highlighted...delete some of the letters in the folder name:
like this:   5 injuriessidelineplayers  ....you should delete 'toolong'....from the folder name
    10.  then go into folder 5....and do the same operation ...with the too long file name:
hit F2 rename file....file name hightlighted...delete some of the letters
like this:  injuriessidelineplayers.....you should delete 'toolong' from the file name
    11.  Now..."cut and paste"  the renamed file to the target backup folder.
The Error message will pop up again if you missed any "bad" files....for example, it will indicate "5 files too long" ....then repeat process 5 times until you fix all of them
    12.     Finally, copy the target destination files back to the source location (when you are certain all source location file folder locations are empty)
Of course, this "makeshift" solution would not be necessary if MSFT would fix the problem...

  • New Pages no longer allows SECTIONS (in thumbnail view window) to be re-arranged like before?

New Pages no longer allows SECTIONS (in thumbnail view window) to be re-arranged like before? You could drag and drop sections within your document the same way you could drag and drop pages in Preview's PDF documents. So how do you re-arrnage your document now?
    ALSO
You used to be able to duplicate/copy a section/page by draging it with OPTION-LEFT-CLICK to a space below or above in the thumbnial window. The same way it works in PREVIEW in a PDF document. Did I miss something or is this also a bug?!
These were extremely helpful to me and I hope many others. Can anyone help!?
    Thanks :-)

Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5.

Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Archive/trash Pages 5 and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

  • ITunes no longer allowing use of remote app or recognizing remote speakers

Weird problem as all of this worked as of 24 hours ago. I am no longer able to share my music (either via the remote app or between two computers on the same local network) nor will iTunes recognize the existence of remote speakers (again, all worked fine as of yesterday).
I've made no changes to firewall, etc. I've confirmed the network is functioning, the Airport express is connected, all current versions, etc. Firewall allows incoming connections for iTunes. Further, i've tried:
    1) Restarting iTunes, the iMac in question and the iPad
    2) Using remote on two different devices
    3) hard rebooting the airport connected to my stereo
    4) reinstalling iTunes and remote
Home sharing is turned on however the iPad's remote app cannot find any libraries. When i try to add a library outside of home sharing, iTunes doesn't see any device trying to connect.
I'm well stumped. Anyone else finding this issue and are there any suggestions?

Same problem. I'm running itunes 10.1.2.17 under win 7.
Here's what I did to fix the problem. Basically you need to create a new exception in your firewall to allow itunes UDP communication.
    control panel>system & security>Windows firewall.
    Advanced settings>inbound rules
    New Rule> Program > browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and pick itunes.exe
    Allow the connection>next>next
Give it a name like iTunesUDP.
Now click on your new rule "iTunesUDP" and select properties.
Click the protocals and ports tab.
    under protocal type select UDP.
    That should do it.
Let me know if it worked for you.

  • My computer is no longer allowing me to import video from my Sony HDR camera.

My computer is no longer allowing me to import video from my Sony HDR camera.  I don't know if it is the operating system or the version of imovie or what.  I also have imovie 06 and I was always able to import into it and can no longer do that either.

This is probably due to a similar issue to a browser redirect.

  • Is it possible to have copy to clipboard take entries in text boxes on a fillable form as well as the form fields Windows?

Is it possible to have copy to clipboard take entries in text boxes on a fillable form as well as the form fields in Adobe Reader Windows? When I create the forms is there some javascript or possibly a setting that would allow the end user to copy to clipboard the form fields and their entered text. Or another option that would work is to have only the entries in the text boxes copy to clipboard. Is that even possible?

Copying fields is not possible in Reader.

  • Copy to Clipboard Method (Table) copies one additional empty column more than expected

    Hi,
I'm using the Copy to Clipboard Method for a Table, to copy for example 4 rows with 3 columns. When I paste it to Excel I get 4 rows with 3 columns and an extra column, which is empty so the real size is than 4x4.
Is this a Labview Error or can someone explain it to me why this is happening? Or even better, how can I fix that?
I have isolated the problem to an extra vi so you can reproduce the error. Just let the vi run once and then paste the clipboard to Microsoft Excel.
My Labview Version is 11.0 32 Bit, Microsoft Office 2010, WinXP SP3

When i try to connect to my yahoo email via the Mail thingy, it will say "user name or password for apple.imap.mail.yahoo.com is incorrect even though my yahoo password and user name is correct.
This is copied from your first post. Am I reading this wrong? Aren't you saying that you are getting a message that the username and password are incorrect? That's why I asked another the word apple in the name. I don't use Yahoo mail that may in fact be correct but I'm just checking,
IF you are getting a message that the username and password are incorrect.....
Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

  • There was an error while copying to Clipboard. An internal error occurred.

    Hello
I'm running a Citrix Presentation Server 4.5 environment, based on Windows Server2003 and providing Adobe Reader as a published application (this issue appears with Adobe Reader 7 and Adobe Reader 8 equally).
Sometimes when trying to copy test from a pdf document, the error message "There was an error while copying to Clipboard. An internal error occurred." appears. The selected text is still copied to the clipboard, so the message seems to be more of a warning, but it's confusing for the end-users. This happens equally when copying via 'Ctrl-C' or with the mouse (right-click & copy).
It is not a problem with the document itself since sometimes the error appears and sometimes not on the same document. This happens for all documents I've tried so far.
Additional information: On the servers also MS Office 2003 SP3 is installed. I have the feeling that it may be an interference with the Office Clipboard, but I can't put my finger on it...
Please, has anyone found a solution for this?
    Thanks
    Andy

    in windows 7
    start-control panel-uninstall programs
uninstall the "Skype Click to Call", this will uninstall addins from ie, firefox, you dont have to uninstall skype.
in ie and firefox you can disable addons but can not uninstall them using ie or firefox interface, when you uninstall Skype Click to Call, it will remove it from all added browsers.
    This works me now.
    Edit 1:
Unfortunately skype trick does not work.
I recently switched to windows 8 and reliazed that there is no copy error any more.
    Edit2:
This error maybe caused by Babylon dictionary which has an Adobe Acrobat or Reader addon which captures the text from pdf documnet when ctrl+right mouse click. This feature is enabled when it is copied to" C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\plug_ins " or  "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 9.0\Reader\plug_ins " directory, so if it is copied such copying error appeared, if not copied it does not appear. Baylon dictionary addin is installed when you install babylon dictionary software, and it is here " C:\Program Files (x86)\Babylon\Babylon-Pro\Utils ", its name is " BabylonRPI.api "
    Edit3:06-April-2013
My experience is that Babylon Dictionary was causing this error. With babylon version 10 acrobat does not give that kind of error anymore, on windows 7 x64, but previous version leftover files may cause this error again even if you remove previous versions and install version 10. With a clean install of windows 7 x64 with babylon dictionary version 10 there is no error anymore.Uninstalling previous versions of Babylon using third party uninstalling software like Revo or Uninstall Tool may help without reinstalling Windows.
