Version related problem in Sales and Operations planning

The system has been upgraded from 4.6C to ECC 6.0. We are facing the following problem in production (the problem was not there in upgraded development server)
upto last year client has consumed version number up to 321. Yesterday they have created and saved a plan with version number 322 for material M1 and Plant P1. Now,
1.     T-code MC87. for material M1 and plant P1, Hit enter.Current version shows as , say, 323.
3.     But if you try to create another plan and enter a new material in MC87 (say M2), the version number shows as 322 instead of 323.
Please suggest what may have gone wrong and how to correct.
Thanks in advance.

Dear,
OMP2 is only use to create the version number  please check the version number here.
Also note only active version will relevant for MRP.

  • SOP - Routing data consideration in the Sales and operation planning

    Hi,
Please share knowledge how to take the consider routing while doing the sales and operation planning.
I have done the resource planning in the sop and it is picking the data's from the rought cut profile also. As per sap help it is mentioned that in sop we can use routing or rate routing also to do the resource planning in sop.
Where the setting to be done?
If answered.. full pointed will be rewarded....

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
As per my knowledge T-code will be OPU4 for the Sales and operation planning.
The T code OPU5 is applicable for planned orders not for SOP internal orders.
I have checked the senario and reverting back to you.
Did you checked the senarios for the resorce leveling with out creating the rough cut planning profile by t code mc35?
Please give you yahoo or gmail messanger or telephone number ....

  • Sales and Operational Planning

    Hi,
Currently i am working on the scenario of SOP . With due respect, please let me know if tere is any report related to comparison b/w production nd sales figures. Or if instead of that tere is any other report on SOP please let me know.
    Thank you

Do you mean transactiopn MC94? It's for checking and editing planning data  via the Planning Table.

  • Sales and Operations Planning - forecast on customer/material

    Experts,
What are the possibilities to maintain a forecast for customer/materail combinations?
The requirement is only to maintain a forecast and the actuals should be updated automatically (from sales requirements). These actuals should consume the forecast so that it's always up to date. A link with PP is not needed.
I'm not so familiar with S&OP --> what is possible in standard and how?
    Thanks

    Jan,
As I see ur reqt, certainly doable if u use the SOP within PP mmodule. With Flexible SOP u can def'ly plan a combi of Cust & Materials (in the sequence u want - Matl > Cust or Cust > Matl)..Chk out the options, help is pretty elaborate..
    cheers

  • "standard" SAP roles for Sales and Operations Planning (SAP SOP)

    Hallo,
I´d like to ask SOP specialists, if there are any "standard" SAP roles, which could be created when SOP is implemented into the SAP system.
If not, could you please send me advice, what is (are) the general role(s) for SOP (which SOP transactions and roles)?
    Thank you for your effort,

  • Primavera and Operational Planning processes

    Dears
I am actually looking into implementing a Project Management and Control Methodology using Primavera P6. May be this question will be more business related one, but I wanted just to get a clearer overview about Primavera capabilities. Some of the organization need to organize their planning activities through a special operational planning approach to make the planning much more organized an streamlined inside the organization.
Does Primavera P6 provide the needed capabilities to support Operational Planning management?
    Looking forward for your reply
    Best regards
    Mohamed Chargui

    Dear David,
Thanks for your immediate reply. Actually we need to develop the Operational plans for each an every division in the organization. I fact we will need to be able to:
    1) Develop the Operational Plan.
    2) Update the operational Plan.
    3) Remove the Operational plan
    Thanks in advance
    Best regards

  • Relation between Payment term and Billing Plan

    Hi All,
I have gone through series of thread on Milestone billing and the Billing plan concept is understood but still I have a confusion regarding the relation between Payment Term that we maintain in OBB8 and the Billing plan that we maintain. practically both seems same.
For ex. Milestone Linked plan where 30% payment to be received on the completion of X work and 70% on the completion of Z work. what should be the payment term for this kind of milestone billing?
    Please suggest.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Binita Joshi

    Hi,
First there is one major difference between payment terms and billing plan.
Payment terms will come into effect once billing is done, based on the conditions of payment terms system decides whether a certain line item is  not due or overdue.
Billing plan on the other hand decides when to bill the first installment and when to bill second installment and final payment etc.
    For example:
for a order with billing plan has total value of INR 1000
    date                         Mile stone             percentage        Amount
    21.10.2011             Advance               10%                       100
    31.10.2011             installation              30 %                     300
    15.11.2011             Handing over         40  %                    400
    30.11.2011             Final invoice           20%                      200
System will create 4 invoices according to billing plan.
Once the bill is created according to payment terms FBL5n will show the status as not due/ overdue
    Hope this helps.

  • MOzilla Firefox 2.X version related problems.

I can upload files like .doc to my application. After uploading the file whenever I click on the link of that file in application, a pop-up window opens which provides two option either to open the file or save it, With this window also contains an OK and a CANCEL button. On Mozilla's Firefox 2.x versions the OK button it getting disabled by default but It should be enabled. On IE it is coming enabled. Pls help if u have any solution for this.

How does does this relate to Java Programming?
Perhaps you can post a section of your Java code to illustrate the problem.
This may be a bug in Firefox, perhaps it is time to update to v3.0.3 or later [http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/]

  • I have another question related to the connection and operation of FP-RLY-422

    1. I use one 25 VDC power to supply power for all the five fieldpoint modules(i.e. V and C terminals of FP-2000, FP-AI-110, FP-AO-200 and FP-RLY-422 are connected) However, as cascading power from neighboring bases or network modules defeats isolation between cascaded modules. I want to know whether the switching of one channel of a module have influence on the reading or switching of other channels in other modules. May I need to provide seperate power supply for FP-2000, FP-AI-100, FP-AO-200, and FP-RLY-422. If FP-RLY-422 was suppled by power of 120 VAC. Is it OK. I read the manual of FP-RLY-422 which specifies 3 A at 35 VDC or 250 VAC. If I used it to control three heaters of 500 w each and
another 750 W. The current of each channel will be over 3 A. Can it be wired in this way?
    2. I use FP-RLY-422 to control four heaters. Now I connected it in this way. I connect it firstly to one of four solid state relays for each channel of the fieldpoint relay. The solid state relay is just a open/close relay the input is 3-32VDC and the output is 110-220VAC/25 A or 240 VAC/50 A. In this case, I build the VI for the operation of heater just in two statuses i.e. on and off. In this case the temperature can't be controlled very accurately. I want to know whether I can build a VI based on PID control based on the present wiring of my cable (i.e. fieldpoint relay control on/off solid relay to control operation of heater indiretly). In this case may I wire the fieldpoint relay FP-RLY-422 directly to the heater of 750 W? I understand the fieldpoint relay FP-RLY-422 in this way. It is a mechanical relay and I can heard the sound when it switched between normally open and normally closed.
I think it have only two statuses i.e. on and off. In this case would you please explain how it contrl the output for the heater more accurately. Does it control by regulating the time being on/off?

    Bo,
1a) All FieldPoint I/O modules are supplied operating power from the power supply in the network module. Certain modules may require additional power for sourcing power via outputs or inputs. Of the modules you list above, the following module requires external power; FP-AO-200. The following modules do not require external power wired to the V & C terminals; FP-AI-100, FP-AI-110, FP-TC-120, and FP-RLY-422. The V & C terminals are provided on modules that do not require them to simplify wiring (e.g. not requiring external terminal blocks if you have loop powered current transmitters).
1b) The FP-RLY-422 is rated for up to 3 amps at 35 VDC or 250 VAC. Currents above 3 Amps may damage the relays, the traces on the terminal base and FP-RLY-422 PWBs, and wi
ll cause overheating of the connectoer between the terminal base and the I/O module.
2a) You can use the FP-RLY-422 with a PID control algorithm to control the heater. However, as relays have limited life expectancies and are simply on/off the control will not be a fine as some other options. What may be better is to use a FP-PWM-520 pulse width module to control the solid state relays. You still control the solid state relay via on/off, but in this case, the on/off time can be occuring relatively quickly, and you change the amount of on time vs the amount of off time, to control the power going in to the heater.

    Aaron

  • Relation Between PR item and Operations Maintenance Order

I have a PR from Maintenance Order.
there are 2 Operation External in Maintenance Order. usually it will create 2 item PR Service. but in my case it's create 3 PR item Service.
I look on the IW33(Display Maintenance Order).
Operation 10, becomes PR Service Item 10
Operation 20, becomes PR service item 30
and there is 1 another PR service item 20.
I see in the Tab Account Assignment. it's refer to the same order. but i don't know where is the Operation. the question is How to delete this Item when we don't know the Operation in Maintenance Order. or maybe how to know what is the Operation.?
    Thanks.

    Hi Ajit Kumar.
No i'm sure that PR item 20 is not with a delte flag. Actually user want to delete the PR item 20. so he try to delete the Operation 10 in Maintenance Order. but when he do this, PR item 10 was deleted and not PR item 20.
    Thanks for your Reply.
    Hi Jürgen L.
Yes i know how to display Deletion in Maintenance Order. and i'm sure when i do that. the operation for PR item 20 are not listed.
BTW. do you know  how to undelete the operation.
    Thanks for your Reply.

  • SOP : just Sales and cost planning  .. possible?

    Hello,
I have a short question - could not find the answer here.
    Can you help?
Is it possible to run SOP just from the perspective of looking at costing, in a budget for next year say?
My client runs ECCP all modules except that we do not use MRP, capacity planning ...
I would like to budget Sales for next year, budgeted costs...
Can I use SOP w/o tropuble without going into any sophistication?
How do that (as compared to the existing doc. on SOP which deals with Capacity ...)
    Thanks for your time
    Loï

    Loïc,
If you have SOP data then you can use that data to Run LTP (long term planning) which is nothing but a simulative MRP run.
LTP analysis can then give you a view of expected costs (budget) of purchasing to meet the SOP forecast (demand) etc..
I remember a project where we took data from COPA module & ran LTP for analysis.
I am sure this sets you in the right direction.
    Thanks,
    Ram

You have to maintain master data Product group
    steps:
    1) Create Product Group MC84
    2) Create Plan for Product Group MC81
    3) Disaggregate Product Group Plan MC76
    4) Copy to active version MC78
    5) Transfer to Demand Management mc75 for Pg or mc74 for material
    FLEIXIBLE PLANNING
Here you can able to Define your own characteristics and Key figures
Char like Sales org,Dis chann, Div,......
    Key figures like stock,invoice qty,....
    steps
    1) Create Info structute MC21
    2) Maintain Planning Parametes MC7F
    3) Create Planning Type MC8A
    4) Create Flexible Planning MC93

    There r two time bucket profiles exist in DP & SNP, namely;
    a. Storage Bucket Profile - used to store the planning data.
    b. Planning Bucket Profile - used to plan and display the planning data. It can have both time span,
So rather than having two planning areas it better u create two Planning book for Promotion & BOM respectively.
You specify Storage Bucket profiles during setup of your Planning Area.
Planning Bucket profiles on the other hand are used to model how you would want to "see" the data for your Planning Areas. These profiles are specified during Planning Book cre
