Very much Worried about the performence of my project

We have developed a site. Initially the site was with less no of features and so we have choosen JSP to develop the project. Now we have implemented so many features and the system became complex. I have nearly 1000 Pages most of them containing nearly 2000 lines of code. Now it seems the performence of the sever getting dropping. I fear that is due to the no of Pages and their no of lines of code. Currently i dont have many number of users. If i got the system into full swing i may be having nearly 2000 users. So i wonder the system speed will drop severally. (Currently we are using JRun as the Application Server. Both my database sever and Application sever existing on the same server.)
Can anybody confirm me whether the dropping of the performence of the server is due to the no of pages which existing on the server. Is there any way to solve this problem. I mean to make them a package and keep the package only in the server instead of keeping all the 1000 pages.
I would be very thankfull if anybody help me in this regard.

The number of pages in the application shouldn't really have an impact on the speed of the application. Sure, they consume disk space. Sure, they'll consume memory since each JSP/Servlet gets loaded into memory when it's requested. 1000 pages aren't really that many, I've seen web applications with several thousand JSPs.
I recommend doing some load tests using an application like LoadRunner. And also using some code/JVM analyzers like JProbe to see if you have any problematic areas in your code with respect to memory consumption and CPU utilization.
If you haven't really thought about performance when you were writing your code, chances are there are lots of places you can optimize. Try caching values that don't change often in the VM so you don't have to query the DB ea. time for them. And for goodness sake, put the DB on a different machine than the app server. Are you using DB connection pooling? You should be...

Seriously...FaceTime is banned there...there is no way to add it back to your phone...if you wanted FaceTime, you should not have purchased your phone there.
BTW: You don't have any warranty or support for this phone in India.

There's no reason to think that Mountain Lion will slow down your Mac. Just make a backup of your data before upgrading with Time Machine > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427
Also, check that your apps are compatible > http://www.roaringapps.com Upgrade them to a compatible version or delete them before upgrading.
The external drive won't make the OS X Mountain Lion installer fail, but it's better to unplug it during the upgrade.
iWork '08 is compatible with Mountain Lion. iWork '09 includes OS X Mountain Lion features and can be purchased at the Mac App Store.
To upgrade to OS X Mountain Lion, I recommend at least 4 GB of RAM. You can check how much memory you have in Apple menu > About this Mac

It is perfectly fine to use the phone while charging it.

Worried about the hum

i have ordered a imac core2duo 20" and i'm really worried about the hum that everyone is talking about on the net.
This seems to be similar to the problems the first macbook pro had, and unfortunately i ordered one and had to return back for this. Now there is the possibility that this mac will have the same problem too. I work with audio, have a completely silent room for recording voice and instruments, and i'm ever looking for the quietest mac. I also tryed a macpro and was not completely quiet. So, is the hum present in all model, or just in the 24"? Are the latest shipped affected by this problem? Thanks for any help.

What you have to realize is that the vast majority of folks who received perfect Macs never come here.
After reading the posts, I worried too. Even though I knew I shouldn't. I'm working on my new iMac 24" right now. Just arrived the other day. There is no hum. There is no noise at all. There are also no dead or stuck pixels.
It is one beautiful Mac!

Want to buy MacBook Pro 13" (new Mac-user). Worried about the Core 2 Duo

I'm really eager to buy a MacBook Pro 13" right now, but core 2 duo feels pretty outdated, I remember my computer from 2006 having that CPU.
My greatest worry is that the computer will feel out-dated pretty fast, like for how many years will it be able to survive OS-updates? I really want to buy one now, but I don't know if i should wait. Do any of you mac-users feel it to be sluggish in any way?

i don't have a lot of experience with this as we just made the switch about a month ago. it's mostly my wife's macbook pro and i wanted her to get a toshiba with i5 processor but she wanted to get the mac. i found this on cnet, which made me feel better about the core2. remember it is running apple stuff which isn't a drain on it like microsoft stuff:

The very best thing about the retina display

Do you know what is the best thing about the retina display? the answer is they've solved the issue of the dead and stuck pixels thing you know how because the pixels are very very small so u can't see if it's working or not some day you will walking around holding your new ipad and you don't even know the plenty pixels that are dead and you can't notice them HAHAHA that was a good one LOVE YA APPLE.

I doubt that's the reason Apple spent the money on retina displays, but a good observation.

You are not making use of the Class object that you're passing to
getValue. You could use it to get rid of the warning:
return clazz.cast(field.getValue());
