Does anyone think Verizon would be interested in a video of my 15 month old grandbaby having a (complete) conversation on my blackberry. Couple things to check. Hold the Option key down as you click on the Volume icon on the Menubar. Set the output device to Internal speakers.
Also check that headphones aren't plugged in.

Best regards.Sorry, but your warranty is just that, and what you would need is an insurance policy. Warranties typically do not cover loss, theft or accidental breakage, at least not unless bundled with a "protection" package or deal.
Ask your parents though if their homeowners policy might cover it?
Oh, and the only way to track it was if you had already enabled the track my iPhone option with your iCloud account settings before it was stolen. And to track it, it would need to be on a network connection, either wifi or 3G. -
Brand new MacBook Pro Retina is in fact 2 months old?
I just got a brand new out of the box MBP retina Late 2013. It was a replacement for my old Early 2013 faulty MBP retina. I am very thankful to Apple because my previous MBP was a faulty mess.
I have 2 enquiries as to whether this new MBP has been used previously:
1) The app "Battery Health" lists the MBP as being 2.1 months old and having 3 cycles of charge already. Is that consistent with this being an unused and new MBP?
2) The MBP has come with Pages, Keynote and Numbers installed!! I thought that these were apps you had to pay for and my previous MacBook certainly did not come with them. Do MBP come with these apps free these days? I have just been told that the iWork suite is free and installed for MacBooks activated after September 2013. Which just leaves my first question I suppose!
I am just worried that it has been used and abandoned and I'll have to go through the whole process again of having a dodgy MBP.
ThanksFrom what I've heard and read the iWork apps aren't normally installed. But that might of been with systems bought right after the notice of those apps being available for free with a Purchase of a New Mac.
Apple's manufacturers product many units each day. Some sit for weeks or more waiting to be shipped out and or in the Apple warehouse waiting to be bought. I wouldn't worry about it and it seems the 3 cycle count is fairly normal with the Retina models. -
Please help! my ipod touch 4g is less than a month old...when i first got it i was able to record video ...in addition i could oovoo but now there is no volume coming or going when i try to oovoo. i can not get screen to open either to record video...what to do?
If the camera shutter is stuck shut, try restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. If that does not work you have to get the iPod replced by Apple under yur warranty. this is a know problem. See this ongoing discussion:

I have a new Macbookbook, about 2 months old, and at times running video, the fans starts and does not stop. how do you get it to stop. Also i am thinking once the video is done the fan should be slowing down and getting quiet on its own.
Your fan(s) will run at high speed (i.e., loudly) while video is playing, and you can't get around that.
If your fans are not slowing down within 2-4 minutes after CPU- and/or GPU-intensive usage ends, and the application that was showing the video is still running, Quit that application. (In fact, if you're accustomed to Windows, you may not realize that simply closing a Mac application's window does not quit the application. You still need to use the Quit command in the application-name menu. There will always be a bright dot beside or below the application icon in your Dock for each application that is open.) Quit the ones you aren't using, and see whether that allows the fans to slow down without restarting the machine. If that doesn't do the trick, reset the SMC:

How do I get my Ipod to play music videos through my theatre system? I keep getting the message "This device not supported". My theatre system WILL recognise my Iphone however. The theatre system, Ipod, and Iphone are all less than 4 months old. Any suggestions welcome!
Check with the theater system vendor and see if their system is compatible with the Nano. The resolution on the Nano may be too low for the system.

my iPhone is about 6 months old now and I would say I don't use it that much. Yet for the last month or so the battery life has been going down and today after having charged it to 100% this morning, it was at 5% at 4 pm this aft. help!!
Ok Fellas, let me give you a clue: Games, particularly those that make heavy use of graphics and sound are notoriously power hungry. In fact, when I was in the Navy many years ago, the folks working on the NTDS (Navy Tactical Data System) computers used a version of Space Invaders to load test the AN/UYK-43 computers.
I have also noticed that all of my laptops (I have a brand new Toshiba dual core, an older Toshiba single core, plus 2 Dell dual core machines) have significantly shorter battery life when I play Company of Heroes than when I am just reading e-mail or surfing the 'Net. I have also noticed the same behavior when I play games on my 4th gen Touch and my iPhone 4.
The fact is, iOS 5 did make some major improvements as well as adding some nice functionality like iMessage, wireless synch, and such, but the down side is that depending on how you use the device battery life can be shorter that what you may have experienced with pervious versions of iOS. Its just the nature of the beast...

As described in the header, my Apple TV (40GB) has its LED blinking amber non-stop, no video, no audio. It is about 2 months old and I have never had issue with it before.
They stopped making that model four years ago. There is no way it is two months old. Trying connecting it to a computer with iTuens via a USB cable to see if you can re-install the firmware.

Just had a fatal crash of my new 1TB fusion drive on my 3 month old Imac 27". Is there anyone elese having this issue? And have you been able to recover data from that Crashed Fushion Drive?
Since it's a new machine, contact Apple's Support, formerly Apple Express Lane and let them deal with it.

Hi Apple! I am having a few problems with my 6 month old iPad mini (ios 7.1.1). I am using my iPad and then some time later it just restars! Don't know why and it just keeps doing it! Please fix or if I restore my iPad will it do any good? Thank you
Plug your iPad into your computer, open iTunes, and click Restore. This will reset your iPad to factory settings, so make sure everything important is stored safely. Once the restore is complete, do NOT restore from your backup.
If you still have problems, take the iPad to the Apple Store or another AASP (Apple Authorised Service Provider). If you're still within warranty, any service will be of no cost. Check your serial number here or find your receipt.

My 5 month old DROIDX has been having "seizures".
....No joke! My DROIDX is only 5 months old, and we live in the NorthEastern corner of Arizona...and just so happen to NOT have good coverage in our tiny little area. Closest Verizon store is in Vegas; 99 miles away. I went there once to ask advise and have them talk me into keeping my DROIDX. I continue having issues.....anyone else out there experience problems? I am NOT a Happy DROIDX user.

that's wrong...you're not out of luck if you are past 14 days - Verizon will replace your phone within a year of purchase if the phone needs repalcement. You don't need insurance. You may get a NEW phone within 14 days, but outside of 14 days, you just get a refurbished phone sent to you. On top of that, when you get a replacement the one year ticker starts all over again on that specific unit....I bought my Droid X from a reseller and not directly from Verizon and Verizon replaced it with a certified like new (aka refurbished). Verizon gave me a little grief cause I wouldn't troubleshoot with them, since all they ever do is tell you to do a factory reset, battery pull, etc, so why do all that with the phone rep when you KNOW it won't work, but I got another rep who replaced it no questions asked.
The issue is you cannot get a "new" phone after 14days, you can indeed get a refurbished phone up to the 1year warranty.
Also the 1year warranty sticks to the date of your original purchase unless you have less than 30days left on that warranty. Believe me as I've been through this several times. If you get a replacement phone at the 6 month mark, your refurbished phone will have 6 months of warranty left. If you get a new phone with less than 30 days left on your warranty you will get a 30 day warranty on the refurb device. -
I would ideally like to upgrade to a new model iMac, as they and my Macbook Pro 15inch, only 4 months old go for about the same price.
