View on RESB and MBEW tables

Hi gurus,
I want to create view on RESB and MBEW tables. Can any one tell me which field i need to take as delta field in the Generic datasource for this view.

    You'll have to use 0CO_PC_ACT_05 (Material Valuation: Prices) for MBEW note that it doesn't support delta.
    For RESB you might look at 0PS_COMPONT_ATTR, but I'm not really shure

    Hi,
    Suppose we have two tables one with one field and another with two fields:
    TAB1 - Key field KEY1
    TAB2 - Key fields KEY1 & Key 2.
    No if we create a Database view of these two tables we can do by joining these two tables on Key field KEY1.
    Now if in View tab we have inculded TAB1- Key1.
    Now lets suppose following four entries are in table TAB1: (AAA), (BBB), (CCC).
    and following entries are in table TAB2: (AAA, 1), (AAA, 2),  (BBB, 3), (BBB, 5), (DDD, 3).
    The data base view will show following entries:
    AAA,
    AAA,
    BBB,
    BBB,
    Now these entris are duplicate in the output.
    This is because TAB2 has multilple entries for same key value of TAB1.
    Now if we want to remove multiple entries from ouput - we need to include an entry in selection conditions like TAB2-KEY2 = '1'.

    but there are no common key fields
    while selecting the data from aufm i want to put the where conditon on key fields only

    Go to SQVI transaction... Create a qucik view.. ztest.. give desc..etc
    Select data source as table join.... enter
    now one screen will come with blank data (blue scrren)
    in that application toolbar second button .. click that.. enter VBAK..
    click that again.. enter VBAP.. now an image will come with links b/w vbak and vbap.. you can use any no. of tables there....

    I can use stored outlines but this is the last chance. I am playing with hints right now to produce desired plan with no result yet.
    Does anybody know how to insist Oracle to merge internal views to bigger query block, so Oracle can choose better plan?
    Or any guide what hints to use from ol$hints to get desired result via hints addition to original sql query (thanks God application don't cut hints just pass-through to Oracle)?

  • Maintaince view creation for a cluster table

    Hi friends,
    I have created a maintaince view for a cluster table bseg and i have activated it its working fine..
    now my problem is i can create maintaince view for mutiple tables if other tables are linked with primary table using foriegn key relationship..
    Now can any one tell me is it possible to create maintance view for cluster table with multiple tables as i need a linked table with bseg which iam not able to get... ie : when i click on the relationship tab iam not getting the linked tables for bseg...
    now can i create a maintaince view with 2 linked cluster tables..
    if so can any one tell me how to create it.
    As sap says we can create projection view for cluster and pooled table and we cannot create database view for cluster and pooled tables , but it does not mentioned like that for maintaince view....
    I assume we can do it.... as iam trying to create a maintaince view with single cluster table then it shoudl allow me to create for multiple linked cluster tables.... and is it mandatory to maintain TMG for this maintaince view....?

    yes.. ur right inserting values into a cluster table other than standard sap tarnactions is dangerious....
    But sap didnot mentioned any where that we cannot maintain data for cluster tables using maintaince view... which it said for database view..that pooled and cluster table cannot be used for database view..

  • View using Material master,Vendor master and PO tables

    Hello folks.
    There is a requirement to create view using material master tables ( MARA,MARC,MARD,MAKT & MBEW ) , vendor master tables ( LFA1 & LFB1) and
    Purchase order tables ( EKKO & EKPO tables).
    I have created the attribute views for material and vendor master tables separately.Now I am thinking about the following design pattern.
    1. Join the material master master attribute view to EKPO table using the inner join to create a analytic view1.
    2. Join the material vendor  master attribute view to EKKO table using the inner join to create a analytic view2.
    3. Now create calculate view using join to combine analyticalview1 & analyticalview2.
    Please suggest me the best optimize pattern and am strange to SAP HANA. Please also clarify the following doubts.
    1. What is the role of system supplied default aggregation node?
    2. How can I use Union node in the calculation view in the current requirement  because people/documentation  always suggesting  using of  Union than Join?

  • How to create dynamic View Object and Dynamic Table

    I want to create a dynamic view object and display the output in a dynamic table on the page.
    I am using Jdeveloper 12c "Studio Edition Version 12.1.2.0.0"
    This what I did:
    1- I created a read only view object with this query "Select sysdate from dual"
    2- I added this View object to the application module
    3- I created a new method that change the query of this View object at runtime

  • Difference between materailized view and a table

    hey hiii
    i want to know what is a difference between a materialized view and a table i.e suppose i create a table A and another table B on table A i have created a trigger which will upload all the changes made in A ie insert,update or delete so whether this will perform all the action that a materialized view can perform on A or is there any difference between them

    I'll add to Nicolas' answer that the MV maintenance does have access to mechsnisms other than row-by-row replication of the trigger-based type. Direct path inserts to the base table are very efficiently propagated to the MV, as are partition-based DDL operations. Also MV's come with optional query rewrite built in (you need 10g+ to query rewrite to a non-MV data set), and scheduled refresh so you can defer maintenance of the data set until later.
    MV maintenance can be less efficient though -- you may know something about the data and the way that it changes that allows you to write more efficient meintenance than the MV code.

  • View table and Master table don't match

    I am setting up Materialize view replication between two systems connected over a WAN. The number of rows in the master table does not match the number of rows in the Table at the view site. Is there a way I can monitor/watch or otherwise see what replicated transaction are being applied to the view. I know that rows are added to and deleted from this table over the course the the day.

    If the master table is always changing, the two tables will never match completely. Take the following scenario:
    time 0: Insert row A in master table
    time 1: Begin refresh of remote MV
    time 2: Insert row B in master table
    time 3: End refresh of remote MV
    At this point, the master table will have two rows (A & B) while the remote table only has row A. If there is a materialized view log on the master table, row B will be present in the log and will replicate on the next refresh. I'm not aware of any utility that lets you view the data in the materialized view log in a particularly human-readable form, however-- that data is stored in a RAW column.
