View source shows not only HTML but also external JS and displays it in an unorganized format, how come?
Whenever I use the view source feature, the pane does not only show the HTML, but it also pastes in all Javascripts which are in an external file. On top of that all the indents are gone making it pretty much unreadable.
I have this issue with every single site I try to view the source of. I turned of and uninstalled all add-ons. Started up in safe mode. But nothing seems to work. I had this in firefox 3.6 and upgraded to 4 hoping it would solve it but it doesn't.
If you have the problem in three different browsers, it suggests something "upstream" or shared at the system level, since each has a separate cache and Safari/Chrome use Webkit, not Gecko, as their rendering engine.
Is it possible that all the source views use a font which has become corrupted? In Firefox you could test that theory by changing your Monospace font here:
Edit > Preferences > Content > (Fonts & Colors section) Advanced button
If that doesn't help, do you browse through a proxy server either on your Mac, your network, or out on the internet? Sometimes a security scanner has an embedded proxy server.

Palmrest is not only discolored but also EXTREMELY DIRTY!
so yea, everyone has been talking about the discoloration on the palmrest. not only do i have that, but my entire palmrest has gotten really dirty where my hands rest on it (like brown). i have tried EVERYTHING to get it off, even pure alcohol! nothing has seemed to work. i have only had my macbook for about 2 months, so i feel like this shouldn't be happening yet. does anyone else have this problem? if so, what have you done to clean it? thanks.
I'm a perfectionist so I want my white macbook to look like new. I bought the expensive iclear stuff which works really well on the outside, the keyboard and the screen, but it doesn't do all that well with the palm rests, etc. in making it perfect clean. iclear gets it 90% of the way there, but for that last 10%...
For the palm rest and the touchpad, I use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I have no idea what is in that sponge, but it wipes away the marks and makes it new again. Do not use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on the screen or on the outside, only use it for the palm rest and touchpad and really wring it out so that there is barely any water. I've been doing this once a week for a month now with no unusual wear or anything like that. -
How can I get ALL my music from iPod to iPad? Not only purchased but also cd rips?
I have almost all my listening music on my 30GB iPod. How can I put most of it also on my iPad - to include both purchased AND cd-ripped music?
I'm going to assume you have all this music conveniently stored in iTunes? If the answer is yes, you connect your iPad to your computer and sync the music from your Music tab to your iPad.

How do I display and print CCR showing not only my actual results, high, low or normal results, but also normal ranges of each test? I can do this individually but not for the composite CCR.

I'm not exactly clear on what you are doing. I can tell you that the ranges and flags for high, low, and normal come from the lab results provider in the lab results they sent you, not from HealthVault. If you go back to the original document that came from
the laboratory, you should be able to open it as a document and print it.

Creating that blur using my brush. When I paint the area, which highlights in red, I bring the clarity down to create more of that blur but what ends up happening is that my entire image changes too and becomes blurry. Not only that but the area I painted also becomes over exposed. What can I do am I missing something here all I want is to blur a section and not change the rest of the area I am painted by automatically becoming over exposed. Does anyone else have this problem that can help me?

Save up some money, set it aside for a future build. There are plenty of new platforms in the works. -

I never had problems with my XP laptop to connect to my wireless network on my WRT110 (using Intel Centrino) but my other laptop, a Vostro 1000 used to work when it had Windows XP, now that I've installed Vista it doesn't work anymore, I always get limmited connectivity, not only that but it also drops the internet connection on the router, all other computers wired or not wired loose internet connection, the router also becomes inacessible by wire. I recently installed Windows 7 on a pc that had XP and a Netgear WG311T and the same problem happens, it not only does not acquire an address but kills the router connection, how is that possible?Would suggest you to try upgrading the firmware of the router & then reset the router in such a way that power light is blinking on the router. Also, try doing a complete network power cycle ie., unplug the power cable from the modem & from the router. Then, plug the power cable to the modem first once the lights are solid green you could plug the power cable to the router & then your issue will be resolved.

Has anyone ever had this problem before? I would love some advice on how to restore my library with all my music. I have 841 songs on my iPod touch and yet my iTunes library on my account says I have none, ever since my sister made her account on my laptop and some of her songs have gotten on mine (the main) account. Not only that but my iTouch doesn't seem to want to accept any other songs outside of its list. Any advice?

My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc. -

None of the above have worked. Ipad completely bricked. This began when merely updating IOS software as instructed. Now Apple want to charge me for using their crappy software as directed. Surely this is not only immoral but potentially illegal.

That procedure eventually leads you to the need to restore it.
Make sure you are following the instructions in this procedure to the letter. Here they are, with emphasis on some easily overlooked requirements:
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release only the Sleep/Wake button.
Continue pressing and holding the Home button while you reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.Note: If you see the "low battery" screen, let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears (iTunes icon and USB connector) release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the "recovery mode" alert ("iTunes has detected a phone in recovery mode").
Use iTunes to restore the device.
If you do not see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. Be patient since it sometimes takes several of these attempts before you are successful.
If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.
Select the iPad in iTunes and choose "restore from backup". This assumes you have a backup. If you do not, you will have to download all your purchased iTunes content again. You do not have to pay for anything you already purchased.

How come when I view flash videos my videos stop, but the audio plays and I see rainbow colored lines up and down the video. I attached a image below.
ATR, just to make sure you understand me, all my video clips in my folders appear as the first frame of the video clip when I view my folders as (small, medium, large)icons instead of lists, when saved as .avi files but when saved as .mp4 files, those icons display as a graphic icon of filmstrip with a musical note on it. I do have various other methods to open with (quick time, windows media, winamp or real player) but prefer real player because I like it's quick and easy trimmer that comes along with it, since so many of my videos are just pet antics where you need to clip off the boring beginning and ends of the video.
I did go on a few of the icons and right clicked, Open With, and tried quick time and also Windows Media and it did nothing as far as how the file was saved for display, and they opened the same no matter which player I used...the actual video opens and plays right at it's first frame... but it's the way it is visually displayed in STORAGE that bugs me because it isn't immediately apparent to me what it is a video of (weddings, outside the house, pet antics)... it makes me have to actually title things and read titles where before I let it just be dates because I had the visual of that first frame as a reference. Obviously, this is a problem for unedited videos only, as anything I actually work with, I do give a title along with the date of the video.
I also just realized this seems to be the way ALL videos that are wrapped in .mp4 are displayed, as my bloggie camera's videos appear the same way. Now I know why! My other videos display as .avi's so I see the frame. Puzzle solved. Guess I'll just have to learn to live with it, as it seems to be how things display with the various formats.
Now I need to watch some tutorials to learn how this Premiere program works! It's all new to me, since this is the first time I've been able load any of my videos onto it. I haven't even been able to figure out how to trim on it yet! -

When I want to return to my home page after looking at a website I click on the home icon and it resets the page to my home page but also open a blak tab which i don't want.How can I stop this as I have too many tabs open and have to close all of them.
You may have an unwanted extension that is modifying sites (or the toolbar area). Try this:
Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Does that flush the tab?
Please report back on anything suspicious you find so others can learn about its bad behavior. -
I was in the middle of the iOS 8 update and tried to turn my phone off (yes, I realize this was dumb) But what happened was it tried to reset. Now, my iphone 4s has the connect to itunes screen. I have tried to reset, recover, etc but I keep getting and error -51 message. Any ideas how I can get my phone working again? I am not worried about saving any info just having a phone to use!
Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message. -
I created two iTunes accounts: one for business purchases and one for personal. However, when I try to purchase an iBook on my personal account only the business account information appears, and my business password is requested. How can I select a different account depending on the type of purchase I am making?
You would have to sign out of the store with that AppleID and sign in with the alternate AppleID.
Settings -> iTunes & App Stores -> tap the Apple ID showing, logout, then login.
Beware thought that you can only change a device's AppleID association once every 90 days.
