Viewing complete xml messages via db query

Hi
Is it possible to view the complete xml message in bpel 11g via a db query which we see from em console opening a instance every time ?
Thanks & Regards,
Neeraj

Hi,
im familiar with that post and looked it through before posting here. Seems like Nordebrink had problems when sending too many DX_REQUEST xml tags. WE on the otherhand are sending none at all.
as you can see from the logs i posted the xml-string sent to sap me via http is this:
sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection:http://172.17.120.220:50000/manufacturing-xml/com/sap/me/integration/xchange/client/ProductionInterface.jsp?site=TEST3&login=XML&password=password?message=<PRODUCTION_REQUEST><PARAMETRIC><SITE>TEST3</SITE><SFC>EE110614146641</SFC><TYPE>MANUAL</TYPE><RESOURCE>AOI001</RESOURCE><PROGRAM_ID>6374-TOPPOWER</PROGRAM_ID><PROGRAM_REV>1</PROGRAM_REV><USER>XML</USER><TEST_STATUS>pass</TEST_STATUS></PARAMETRIC></PRODUCTION_REQUEST>
now, this string works without authentication in the admin-xml interface, but not via http in a browser.
so your suggestion is to create a ticket for this?

  • Send XML Message via HTTP and Receive Response

    Hello,
    We have a scenario where we need to update Currency Exchange Rates in R/3 via a 3rd party called Oanda.  I'd like to use XI for this Interface, if possible.
    Basically, we need to send XML over HTTP.  Here's the URL and the XML we need to use for our POST (I'll need to perform the look-up for about 15 currency codes - I plan on using a BPM process to loop through each currency code specified in a flat file):
    http://www.oanda.com/cgi-bin/fxml/fxml?fxmlrequest=<CONVERT><CLIENT_ID>TestAccount1</CLIENT_ID><EXCH>USD</EXCH><EXPR>CAD</EXPR><DATE>03/25/2008</DATE></CONVERT>
    And the reponse looks like this:
    <RESPONSE>
      <EXPR>CAD</EXPR>
      <EXCH>USD</EXCH>
      <AMOUNT>1</AMOUNT>
      <NPRICES>1</NPRICES>
      <CONVERSION>
        <DATE>Mon, 24 Mar 2008 20:00:00 GMT</DATE>
        <ASK>1.0257</ASK>
        <BID>1.0251</BID>
      </CONVERSION>
    </RESPONSE>
    I plan on mapping each reponse to BAPI_EXCHRATE_CREATEMULTIPLE, using BPM.
    So my question is this:  Should I use the HTTP adapter for the out going POST to Oanda?  If so, would the HTTP adapter be consider the sender or the receiver?  Also, how would the XML message be automatically appended to the end of the URL (i.e., after the fxmlrequest parameter)?  I guess I'm a little confused on how to use the HTTP adapter...  Are there any blogs that discuss this type of scenario?
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Hi guys,
    I have few concerns for setting up this scenario.
    1). I have created a data type for request mapping, and teste the mapping.
    The output looks like below:
      <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
      <ns1:MT_CONVERT xmlns:ns1="http://test.com/ExchngRate">
       <CONVERT>
         <CLIENT_ID>test</CLIENT_ID>
         <EXPR>CAD</EXPR>
         <EXCH>USD</EXCH>
         <DATE>10/21/2009</DATE>
         <AMOUNT>1</AMOUNT>
       </CONVERT>
      </ns1:MT_CONVERT>
    How to pass only
      <CONVERT>
         <CLIENT_ID>test</CLIENT_ID>
         <EXPR>CAD</EXPR>
         <EXCH>USD</EXCH>
         <DATE>10/21/2009</DATE>
         <AMOUNT>1</AMOUNT>
       </CONVERT>
    to the receiver HTTP adapter.
    2) I am using URL address in the receiver HTTP adapter.
    Target Host: www.oanda.com
    Path Prefix: cgi-bin/fxml/fxml?fxmlrequest=
    What is will be Service Number?
    Looking forward for you help. Your help is greatly appreciated.

  • Send XML messages via Internet

    Hello,
    Just wanted to know if it is possible for SAP R3 Enterprise 470x110 to set this up.  Basically we wanted to send XML messages over the internet to our counterparts in other location.  In return they will be sending us XML messages in return that we need to process.  Is this a limitation of our SAP release?  If this can be configured in our system, does anyone has done it?  Let me know if you have references.
    Thanks a lot.

    Jan,
    if QoS is important to you then JMS may not be overkill. Most appservers like Borland, IONA, HP/Bluestone and BEA provide JMS facilities already. What appserver are you using? Does it support JMS?
    There are many cases of companies doing what you want to do, both internally and externally with their partners over the Net.

  • Rerouting bounce messages via ldap query inpossible?

    Hi,
    using C650 with 6.4.0-273
    I have defined a private listener. For internal domains I have domains assigned routing with a ldap query. It resolves to mailLocalAddress.
    ok
    If I get a non delivery notification (hard bounce) so this messages is routed via a SMTP route, no ldap query is done.
    We have used SMTP routes before changing now to ldap based routing on private and public listeners. All E-Mails are routed successfully except non delivery notifications.
    If I delete the SMTP route (for my internal mail domain) NDN is deliverd via public listener (MX lookup, not necessary at the same IronPort in case of multiple MX records).
    Any way to have the same (ldap based routing) for both normal messages and non delivery messages?
    Burckhard

    As a workaround, you may route all NDN's to another IronPort Private listener (using smtp route) so that they are again pass thru ldap.routing

  • Triggering and view XML messages in SAP AMI

    We have  configured the AMI. Also setup the AMI enabled devices.
    We have created Meter Reading Orders for the periodic meter reading as bulk .
    But the creation of MROs does not trigger creation of XML messages.
    We found the Enterprise Service responsible for meter reading order Request Smart Meter Meter Reading Document Creation as Bulk SmartMeterMeterReadingDocumentERPBulkCreateRequest_Out
    But the XML messages are not getting generated on MRO creation. Also no XML message generated on AMI enabled device creation. Would like to know where we can view the generated XML and also trouble shoot.
    Thanks in advance for the information
    Vijay

    Hi,
    Thanks a lot for the informaiton , I could go into SXMB_MONI  with date and time stamp to view the XML message, still i am not able to view it.
    Is there any thing specific needs to be configured to have the XML message in SXMB_MONI
    The process we are following is we are creating periodic meter reads and using the transaction ELMU Customized to our needs to trigger the SmartMeterMeterReadingDocumentERPBulkCreateRequest_Out . Are we following the right approach.
    Can you provide the check points.
    thanks,

  • Include XML payload as URL query string

    Hello Gurus -
    I have a business requirement that I'm hoping you all can help me with:
    Scenario: Send XML message from SAP XI to a third party system via the Receiver Plain HTTP Adapter
    I need to include the actual XML message as a query string in the target URL at the time of posting. The content of the XML message is determined within XI message mapping and will not be known until runtime, so the URL determination will need to be dynamic.
    For example - a target URL with the "xmldata=" query string:
    http://server01/receiver.asp?xmldata=<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><headertag><tag1><value1></tag1></headertag>
    Does anyone know how to do this - Is there some communication channel configuration and/or programming that would work?
    Thanks to all!
    Chad

    Hi,
    This is very similar to our scenario. By manipulating some of the Plain HTTP Adapter parameters, my colleague was able to post using xmldata. He set content type to text/plain then set the prolog to xmldata=. Let me know if this worked.

  • View is not retuning data when creating XML message through workflow

    Hi All,
    This is a very critical problem for me. I am trying to send an XML message (outbound) through XML gateway. This is done from a custom workflow. The message creation is done from the standard procedure ecx_document.sendDirect. The data for the XML file is taken from two views (whcih are created in a custom schema and have synonym in apps). One view for header and another one for line information (I am creating an XML for a purchase order).
    The problem is when the workflow try the first time to create a message, the views are not returning data. So message creation fails. Now, if we restart the workflow after some time, it will work and the message is created. What could be the reason for this sort of a behaviour ?
    I am using business events to trigger the workflow. The data in the table/view will be updated by standard POAPPRV workflow activities. The custom workflow is subscribed to a business event raised from POAPPRV workflow, at a certain point. So this will execute when this event is raised from POAPPRV wf. The subscription has a phase value of 99.
    Any help on this regard will be much appreciated, as this is a critical issue.
    Thanks in advance,
    Arun
    PS : One more thing : this is happening mostly in the production instance where the number of messages is very high (freqency).

    Hello,
    With the BAPI_EQUI_CREATE you can only create PM equipments not IS-U devices that why there is no IS Tab .
    You have to use the dialog transactions IQ01, IQ04 or the MM transaction, where you can create devices through a movement.
    There is objecttype DEVICE (SWO1) with the following methods:
    -> Device.CreateFromData (Create Equipment Master Record)
    -> Device.Create (Create Equipment Master Record)
    -> Device.CreateISU (Create IS-U: Modification for IS-U)
    Please check whether you can use method Device.CreateISU for your requirement.

  • Selecting xml-messages from ORABPEL-schema via SQL

    Hi,
    i want to select xml documents via SQL from the ORABPEL schema.
    Can anybody help, how to do this?
    There is the table xml_document, which has the columns:
    DOCKEY
    DOMAIN_REF
    BIN_CSIZE
    BIN_USIZE
    BIN
    MODIFY_DATE
    BIN_FORMAT
    Bin is of type blob....

    "Installation Monkey", did you ever find a solution or sample code to access and decipher the Audit_trail.LOG contents through a query or using SQL lob calls?
    I have looked all over, tried decoding the hex code (into a second layer of gibberish), and found nothing other than pointers to the API bpels.
    Thank you for any information.

    To Search for all processed messages
    Leave the Status Group and Status fields empty.
    also specify
    ●      Start of execution
    Date (Executed From) and time (Start Time) of the start of message processing.
    ●      End of execution
    Date (Executed Until) and time (End Time) of the end of message processing.
    To display the entire history of the message, click the end time.

  • Plan-driven proc. Simultaneously access to one SC from some XML messages.

    Hi SRM gurus.
    We've implemented plan-driven procurement scenario and have caught an error. I explain error on example:
    ERP generates via PI 5 XLM messages for update 5 positions of SRM SC. When the first XML locks SC for update, the second XML trying to lock SC and cannot do it and therefore get out an error. When i restart processing XML marked as error manually all works fine.
    So question is - How to ensure step by step processing XML messages which belong to one ERP PR. I played with parameters in SMQR with XTBR* queue but it was unsuccessfully.
    P.S. We've got some ABAP ideas about adding XML messages to separate queue based on ERP PR but it looks too hard.

    Dear Poster,
    As no response has been provided to the thread in some time I must assume the issue is resolved, if the question is still valid please create a new thread rephrasing the query and providing as much data as possible to promote response from the community.

  • Creation of a shipping notification for a PO in EBP from a XML file via XI.

    Hi everybody.
    We are trying to create a shipping notification for a Purchase Order in Enterprise Buyer from a XML file via XI.
    For to do it, we are using ‘DespatchedDeliveryNotification_In’ message interface (transaction SPROXY).
    But when we execute it, the system show us next message:
    "An error occured within an XI interface: An exception with the type CX_GDT_CONVERSION occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause Programm: SAPLBBP_BD_MAPPING_SAPXML1; Include: LBBP_BD_MAPPING_SAPXML1F5B; Line: 4"
    No more information is available.
    Is there any additional transaction to see more information about the error message?
    Is there any documentation about this XML file, mandatory fields, examples…?
    We populated some fields in our XML file, but we do not know if the problem is with mandatory fields, data, program error…
    I will thank for any information
    Thanks in advance.
    Raúl Moncada.

    Raúl,
    This is because of the inbound UOM.
    The include LBBP_BD_MAPPING_SAPXML1F5B is in charge of mapping the item Unit Of Mesure (UOM) sent in the ASN XML file (it should be an ISO code).
    You can test FM UNIT_OF_MEASURE_ISO_TO_SAP with this inbound ISO code.
    PS: you should create an OSS message so the mapping sends back an error message instead of generating an uncatched exception (that generates a dump).

  • Read XML message from a CLOB

    We are currently receiving XML messages from a business partner that goes
    through a transformation/parser first to make sure the xml document was
    in MISMO form (Mortgage Industry Standard Message Organization). Then the
    document is stored in a clob in a table. The document is stored Without
    the tags. We are storing these XML messages into a CLOB datatype for
    later processing. I want to read the CLOB and then parse out the
    individual fields to store into a table. What is the best way to
    accomplish this in PL/SQL? Here is one sample record:

    NOTE: I have tried to use DBMS_XMLQUERY and it comes out like this using a

    one field called xml_app_msg. The problem is how do I reference the
    individual fields like FirstName and so on to store in another table? Can
    I apply a stylesheet and if so, how?
    Or do I create an object type called xml_app_msg with the fields lastname
    and so on?
    -- The table is raw_xml_msg_tbl and the field with the stored infomation is
    xml_app_msg.
    set serveroutput on size 50000
    declare
    queryCtx DBMS_XMLquery.ctxType;
    result CLOB;
    begin
    queryCtx := DBMS_XMLQuery.newContext('select xml_app_msg from raw_xml_msg_tbl where app_id = :APP_ID');
    -- DBMS_XMLQuery.clearBindValue(queryCtx);
    DBMS_XMLQuery.setBindValue(queryCtx,'APP_ID','LT1001');
    -- get the result..!
    result := DBMS_XMLQuery.getXML(queryCtx);
    -- Now you can use the result to put it in tables/send as messages..
    printClobOut(result);
    DBMS_XMLQuery.closeContext(queryCtx); -- you must close the query handle..
    end;
    OUTPUT:

    I parse the XML doc into a domdocument and then loop through using xpath.valueof to pull the individual values from the nodes and then build a generic insert. It works quite well with a small number of columns. I'm not sure how it would work with a lot of columns. You can get code examples from Steve Muench's book "Developing Oracle XML Applications".

  • XML message as input for webservice gives deserialization error

    Hi,
    jDeveloper 10.1.3
    BPEL PM 10.1.2.0.2
    Carrental example
    Problem:
    For the Business Rule Engine I did the Carrental XML example. Based on the java application that connects to the BR engine, I created a webservice in jDeveloper and deployed it to my localhost AS 10.1.3. The webservice has a testRule method that accepts a String buf as input. For now, the only thing the webservice does is return a 'do nothing' string. This works fine:
    When deployed the testpage generates the following SOAP message:
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
    <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://carrental/types/">
    <ns1:testRuleElement>
    <ns1:buf>my xml message</ns1:buf>
    </ns1:testRuleElement>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    The SOAP response is:

    <env:Envelope xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:ns0="http://carrental/types/"><env:Body><ns0:testRuleResponseElement><ns0:result>do nothing...</ns0:result></ns0:testRuleResponseElement></env:Body></env:Envelope>
    In BPEL Designer I create a new asynchronous process ValidateBR, with a partnerlink for the webservice, based on the following WSDL file:

    FYI: the webservice only contains a return "do nothing"
    Question:
    What is the proper way to assign an XML message to the web service?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    Reading only is not possible..
    I will be still more clear in my question this time..
    I have deployed my bpel. My receiveInputVariable is of type xsd:string.
    So when i run the bpel in my console, i will be asked to give input as string data.
    So when i go to the XMLView, it will be like this.
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Sabari_POC_Appln/DOM_Parser/ConvertToBLOB">
              <ns1:process>
                   <ns1:input></ns1:input>
    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    Now, i am going to give my input like this. --- which leads to error.
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/Sabari_POC_Appln/DOM_Parser/ConvertToBLOB">
              <ns1:process>
                   <ns1:input>
    *<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>*
    *<projects>*
    *<project id = "BP001">*

    *</project>*
    *<project id = "TP001">*

    *<name>Portal Project</name>*
    *<start-date>Dec 10 1998</start-date>*
    *<end-date>March 10 2006</end-date>*
    *</project>*
    *</projects>*
    </ns1:input>
    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    This xml is not accepted as string input.. so kindly suggest me some other solution.
    I also tried.. like.. making my receiveInputVariable of type xsd:anyType, it also dint help. same error occurred.
    Thanks,
