Virtual URL space on OC4J

How is it possible to deploy e.g. servlet on ROOT of the Site (based on standalone OC4J) which will test all requests to OC4J. This application should check if request is made for resource in here virtual URL space and if it is, it should return requested resource. If it is not then servlet should release request for standard processing.
eg. server has three deployed application on locations
/human_resources , /personal_pages and default on /
1. first case: user place request like /personal_pages default application takes request analyze it and hand it over to deployed application /personal_pages
2. second case: user place request like /students/articles (application with this uri is not deployed on server) default application takes request analize it finds articles list in database, form HTML and send response to user how placed request.
3. third case: user place request like /automotive/gear (application with this uri is not deployed on server) default application takes request analyze it and as it is not in here virtual uri space it passed to default processing which will return resource not available.

When I look at the page using the rules that I shared with you, it worked!
Now when I look at your interpretation
ul.MenuBarHorizontal li:last-child {

it is telling me that you want a right border with a with of 2px on the last li element. I know it is the same colour as the background but it does not have the same effect as my original proposal.

Applescript to set a wallpaper on all virtual desktops/spaces

Hello everybody,
i just want to share something i came up with after trying many things to set a wallpaper to every of my virtual desktops/spaces... feel free to use and improve it!
This applescript is based on a few solutions i found on the internet...
It's really silly, but all the other things doesn't work for me.
FIRST make sure that AppleScript Editor.app is checked in
System Preferences --> Security & Privacy --> Privacy --> Accessibility
Then start AppleScript Editor and paste the following:

set myWallpaper to "/path/to/image.jpg"
set myNumberOfSpaces to 5
-- switch to first space
tell application "System Events" to key code 18 using control down
delay 1
tell application "System Events" to set picture of current desktop to myWallpaper

e.g. i have 5 virtual desktops/spaces

I think you can easylie make an osascript or o droplet out of this...
Till now i found no other working shiny easy solution of setting one picture to all my desktops in mavericks.
Improvements are welcome!

I have problems engaging a connection to a deployed application in a 9.0.3 iAS instance. I created 2 oc4j instance within the iAs instance.
I wonder how to set up the JNDI provider url?!?
According http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/A97329_01/web.902/a95879/jndi.htm
the provider url contains of ormi://host:port/application.
Unfortunatly I get a connection refused Naming Exception.
What's wrong?
Where can I look up the
java.naming.security.principal
java.naming.security.credentials
Are they set by default?
I tried the following scenario:
java.naming.provider.url=ormi://host/oc4j-instance/application/
and a user/password from principals.xml in the application/config directory, but don't have any success.
So please help me ;-).

Virtual Desktop/Space video freeze

Hi there,
I am using Lion Server 10.7.1 with the new "virtual desktop/space" feature. Lion Server is installed on a mini (core2duo, 4GB RAM) which is showing eyetv on my tv. From another mac (Lion 10.7.1) I connect to the mini for administration using the new virtual desktop/space feature. I get a blank desktop where I can work very well but...Everytime I do this, the eyetv video and most time after some more seconds also the audio freezes on my tv. This also happens when I use Itunes. After I close the administration connection the video plays fine.
Any idea or anyone out there without theses problems?

We have SSO configured. So i do get the SSO login page, but clicking on submit button, I get page cannot be displayed.
Everything works if I disable the load balancer virtual.

In 1.4, for a local URL, spaces show up as %20

Under 1.4 however, it behaves differently. Any spaces in the path now show up as '%20'. So our application now thinks it's running in a non-existant directory called "C:\Program%20Files\MyProgram", and this of course means its behaviour is completely FUBAR.
Does anyone know a good general solution to this? I can of course manually replace '%20' with ' ' in the code, but this is a hack. Can anyone think of a proper solution?

I've lost my the url space at the top of safari

Any suggestions about how to add it back in? I've gone to "View" but don't see the right option. Also, I cannot get the "customize toolbar" to work; I can't type anything into the space "Search Google or enter an address."

Expand Dynamically Expanding Virtual HD Space

Hi Server Expert,
I have a Server 2012 Hyper V server that being installed with few VMs. Those VM are using dynamically Expanding virtual HDD.
Take an example from one of the server below:
A VM called "Finance Server". this server virtual HDD has been configured with dynamically expanding virtual hdd. On the hyper v server, we created 500GB partition and this partition is being used to store the virtual hdd of the "Finance Server".
I created 3 dynamically expanding VHD as I would like to have 3 partitions on the Finance Server. The three dynamically expanding VHDs are A.vhdx,B.vhdx, and c.vhdx. A.vhdx is 50GB, B.vhdx is 100GB, and C.vhdx is 150GB. each of the dynamic VHD will correspond
to the partition in the "Finance Server". So, C partition is using A.vhdx, D partition is using B.vhdx, and E partition is using C.vhdx.
The Problem Encounter:
D partition is out of disk space. in this case, how am I going to expand it? Should I expand the space on the Hyper V server? currently the "Finance Server" is using 500GB of the HDD space. if we increase disk space by 200GB in the Hyper V
Server, after extend the 500GB to 700GB, how am I going to use the space that just being increased into the "Finance Server"'s D drive? does it mean that by increasing the Hyper V disk space of 500GB to 700GB, the Finance server will be able to automatically
consume the new space of 200GB or I need to login to Finance Server and activate it?
Now, if the finance VM is able to consume the 200GB free space from the server, how should I allocate it to the partition D inside the finance server? does it mean that by increasing the size of D drive by using the new space of 200GB will solve the
issue? or I still need to expand the size of dynamic VHD? as I know dynamic VHD is not able to expand as it will always grow right?

May there have some misunderstanding in your mind, when we create a dynamic expand vhd we set the maximum size of this disk, it will not automatically give this partition when
it over the specific size, this is by design, a Dynamically VHD is rather small in size when first created and the size grows as data are written into the disk. At any given time, a Dynamic VHD is with a size of the actual data written to it and the housekeeping
information.
Additional, a Dynamic VHD is recommended for development and testing, since relatively small footprint to manage. A server intended to run applications not disk intensive
is also a possible candidate for a Dynamic VHD. Still when it comes to performance, a Fixed VHD always performs better than a comparable Dynamic VHD in most scenarios by roughly 10% to 15% with the exception of 4k writes, where Fixed VHD performs significantly
better as documented in Hyper-V and VHD Performance - Dynamic vs. Fixed.

Extended memory is virtual memory space or Real Memory ?

I would like to know whether the extended memory is virtual memory or its real memory. What is the parameter used to set the usage of the real memory of the system and the virtual memory of the system ( I want to know with ref to UNIX environment), and also clear about the hep memory( virtual or real).

The virtual memory consist of physical memory and OS swap space. Virtual memory can be allocated by the SAP system.
In the virtual memory exist shared memory and local memory.
Your question was regarding extended memory. Extended memory (user context) exist in shared memory. Heap memory exist in local memory.

I have virtually no space left in my startup disk and it keeps declining in available free space?

Ok fellow Mac people - why would my 500GB start up hard drive suddenly go from 489BG of space free to about 2BG free, and it declines in free space until I reboot the computer. Even after rebooting though it shows I barely have 3GB of space free. It has declined all the way down to 19MB free on my computer at one point!
My time machine backup goes back until Oct 26th and I did not have the problem at that time. The startup disk on that date is at it's normal capacity. Since the 26th of October I have upgraded to OS 10.7 and installed a trial of GoToMeeting - no changes other than that and my normal use. I have emptied the trash and got rid of a bunch of excess files I didn't need anymore as well, but that hasn't helped really.
Any suggestions on what is happening? And, if I go back to the 10/26 startup disk image on the time machine will that affect any other partitions or drives on my computer? I don't want to lose any work that has been done and saved to other drives since then.

I am not familiar at all with that software; however, since your problems appear to have started after you installed it, I would very seriously consider uninstalling it using their uninstaller (if there is one) and/or do a thorough search of the entire hard disk for files containing that name. I'd also consider getting Omnisweeper to check my disk:

If you find that you have all your hard drive space back, then there is obviously something going on with that software.

Actually 6 cm out of 14 total. By comparison with the A1359 Keyboard base it should be 4.5 to 5 cm, to keep the same proportion. You could then implement a non-erasing backspace key marked "<--" and a delete key to correct typing errors. The current system of mirror lens and positioning is an insult. Only chinese girls under 10 have small enough fingers to use it, if at all.
If you are typing in a non normal sitting position, particularly in bed,when you enter other chars or switch to numeric key extra spaces are inserted.
It's a nuisance. Reduce the size. Alternatively, you can make the space bar more insensitive, required you hold it a bit more time, but I realize not all people would like it, breaks the rythm..
