Visualization of the separation plane for the two-variable SVM case

Hello,
I have an training data set for binary classification task that contains only two variables.
After building SVM model (with linear kernel) I want to visualize separation plane.
After reading documentation I found that I can get variable weights using this query:
WITH
mod_dtls AS (
SELECT *
FROM TABLE(DBMS_DATA_MINING.GET_MODEL_DETAILS_SVM('<MODEL_NAME>'))
model_details AS (
SELECT D.class, A.attribute_name, A.attribute_value, A.coefficient
FROM mod_dtls D,
TABLE(D.attribute_set) A
ORDER BY D.class, ABS(A.coefficient) DESC
SELECT class, attribute_name aname, attribute_value aval, coefficient coeff
FROM model_details
WHERE ROWNUM < 100
So, after getting these weight does anybody knows how to plot the separation plane?
How to get equation of the line that separates my two classes?

WITH
mod_dtls AS (
SELECT *
FROM TABLE(DBMS_DATA_MINING.GET_MODEL_DETAILS_SVM('SAMPLE_DATA65805_SV'))
model_details AS (
SELECT D.class, A.attribute_name, A.attribute_value, A.coefficient
FROM mod_dtls D,
TABLE(D.attribute_set) A
ORDER BY D.class, ABS(A.coefficient) DESC
SELECT class, attribute_name aname, attribute_value aval, coefficient coeff
FROM model_details
WHERE ROWNUM < 100 ;
CLASS ANAME AVAL COEFF
0 X -1.745703462
0 -0.928055641
0 Y 0.813909145
For the linear discriminant the plane separating two classes is -1.745703462x+0.813909145y-0.928055641=0. Or the linear discriminant is y~=2x+1. Unfortunately ODM GUI doesn't provide a method to plot this. In here an important thing to keep in mind that the discriminant function is generated with respect to normalized data (if you choose to do normalization). If you wish to draw some plots by using a self generated method, you should draw discriminant function over normalized data (or you can transform discriminant function).

• How to set up the inspection plan for the material in super BOM

Hello,
how to get the accurate inspection plan of the IQC for the material which was class item in a super BOM?
I've gotten the characteristic value from the sales order, and get the PO after MPR. The problem is how to specify the target value and the range of inspection characteristic in inspection plan, because the value is temporary?
Thanks!
Lin

Hello,
I think you need to create MIC which linked with the configuration characteristic, and specify "inspection by configuration" for the inspection type.
then the configuration value in the sales order can be transfered to the inspection lot when production released or goods receipts if you use inspection type 03 or 04. that means the value range for the MIC will be determined dynamically for each sales order.

• HT4157 Will be traveling overseas next week how do I suspend the data plan for the time I will not be using it?

Would like to suspend the at&t data plan I signed up for when I bought the miniIpad because I will not use it during overseas trip how do I go about it? Can I just cancel and sign back on when I need it again?

Contact AT&T to see if they offer this. As far as I know (and I could
be misinformed), your AT&T will automatically renew every month unless
you let AT&T know you do not want it to renew. I believe this can be
done via AT&T website or phone call to Customer Service. I suggest
you contact AT&T as soon as possible to get it straightened out rather
than wait until right before your trip when you will already have enough
to deal with.

• What is the best protection plan for the 5s?

I have VZW, we just upgraded our phones and got a 5s and 5c at Best Buy. I was just curious to see what protection plan you guys recommend? I have 3 choices. We purchased the phones on 12/27/13 so I don't know how much more time we have before the deadline for a plan kicks in. I have 5 choices though.
The Best Buy protection plan, Verizon Wireless TEC plan or AppleCare+, SquareTrade & Protect Your Bubble. What do you think is best?
I currently have the TEC plan from VZW. I had a HTC Rezound and the TEC plan was on that line for $8 I believe. Once I upgraded to the iPhone through BB, my plan changed to the TEC plan for the iPhone which is now $9.99 if I remember correctly. Anyways, I can cancel it anytime. My wife's phone doesn't have the TEC, that it why were trying to figure out what PP to get for our phones. I've never lost a phone before. My HTC Rezound did break a few times. A few times it was the hardware just not working and I got a refurb sent for free. But I did break the screen 1 time and was happy that I had insurance, I only had to pay $75 versus $200 something. I only broke it once in the 2 1/2 years I had it, but it did happen. God forbid I break the iPhone screen or something, I don't have $800 for a new one.
We currently have AC+ for our iPad Air but it was a spur of the moment buy since I was in the Apple Store.
Thanks everyone

I know the "basics" of AC, I just didn't know if any of the other insurances come close? I have a few other questions if you don't mind, don't know if you can answer them or not...
- What are Apples claim guidelines, does the phone have to be non repairable to use a claim? What if the screen is just cracked or there is a giant dent on the side, heavy cosmetic damage? Does AC cover water damage? How does that all work?
- I read over at the macrumors forum that Apple can replace your iPhone without using AC? Here is the quote:
"It's worth noting that even without AC, Apple will replace your phone for $250 if you broke it and it is in no more than two pieces." Is there any truth to that statement?
- Say I break my phone, I pay the $79 deductible, I understand that part but do I have to pay for the replacemt and if so how much? I saw that some insurances require you pay, an example, $50 deductible plus $120 for the replacement.
I know the major downside against AC is that it doesn't cover lost or stolen devices and only a total of 2 claims allowed. I've never lost any of my Android phones but I've heard iPhones are pretty high up on the theft list.
If I did happen to break my iPhone 5s or crack the screen, whatever it may be, I just want to get the fastest service possible and cheap too. I don't want to have wait 3 days or more to get a replacement and I also don't want to pay a huge amontunt of money to get a replacemt either. I have AC on my iPad Air, I bought it because I was in the store and I jumped the gun before checking out other options. Anyways, I'm about to pull the trigger and get AC for my 5s and 5c, it's just that SquareTrade has caught my attention too and I'm torn between them. I saw that ST offer 4 claims and honors lost and stole devices. I didn't think this would be suck a tough decision lol.
Again, thanks for your input and help, much appreciated

• How to change the explain plan for currently running query?

Hi All,
I am using Oracle enterprise 9i edition. I have a query which frames dynamically and running in the database. I noticed a table with 31147758 rows
in the query which has no indexes and taking more time to process. I tried to create an INdex on that table. I know the query is already running with a FULL table scan. Is it possible to change the explain plan for the current running query to consider the INDEX?
COUNT( DISTINCT d.att_fcc ) OVER (PARTITION BY a.pat_nbr, c.dit_code) event_cnt
DENSE_RANK () OVER (PARTITION BY a.pat_nbr,
d.att_fcc

WHERE c.dit_id = a.tm_id
AND e.rxer_id = a.rxer_id
AND a.glbl_uniq_id = p.glbl_uniq_id
AND p.daterank > 1
AND a.pscr_pack_id = d.att_dit_id
The table lrx_tmp_pat_daterank is having that 31147758 rows. So I am wondering how to make the query to use the newly created index on the table?

Why do you think using Indexes will improve the performance of the query? How many rows this query is returning? Optimizer might chose a Full table scan when it finds out that Index plan might not be useful. Why are you using /*+ USE_HASH (c,e,b,a) */ hint? This Hint will force oracle to use Full table scan instead of using the index. Try removing it and see if the plan changes.

I moved to another country and would like to change the billing country for the credit card. It doesn't allow me to switch the country only street etc.. Do I have to create a new account separately for a new country?

Nope. You can only have one credit card attached to an account at a time. Its not that big of a deal to use two accounts, users do this all the time. Create the second account(UK Account) in iTunes on your computer...sign out of your Italian account first. Then authorize your computer for this new account: Store>Authorize this computer. Then sync your phone. Now, to switch accounts on your phone: Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

• Does anyone know the difference between the Applecare Warranty for the Macbook Pro and the Applecare Protection Plan Auto Enroll 607-8192-B APP FOR MacBook

Does anyone know the difference between the Applecare Warranty for the Macbook Pro and the Applecare Protection Plan Auto Enroll 607-8192-B APP FOR MacBook

AFAIK, the difference is that the auto-enroll occurs automatically when you purchase the device and you will have to disburse the cost right there and then. Whereas the other comes in a box, can be purchased separately later and you must manually enroll your device into the system to activate the additional protection. This must occur before the base one year warranty is over.
So, if you don't want to pay up at the moment you buy the computer, you can wait up to say 11 months and buy the AppleCare warranty extension later. Just be sure to complete the enrollment BEFORE the base warranty is over, else Apple will not honor the extension (all in the fine print). This applies to all devices that offer an AppleCare option: notebooks, desktops, iStuff, etc.

• CBO generating different plans for the same data in similar Environments

Hi All
I have been trying to compare an SQL from 2 different but similar environments build of the same hardware specs .The issue I am facing is environment A, the query executes in less than 2 minutes with plan mostly showing full table scans and hash join whereas in environment B(problematic), it times out after 2 hours with an error of unable to extend table space . The statistics are up to date in both environments for both tables and indexes . System parameters are exactly similar(default oracle for except for multiblock_read_count ).
Both Environment have same db parameter for db_file_multiblock_read_count(16), optimizer(refer below),hash_area_size (131072),pga_aggregate_target(1G),db_block_size(8192) etc . SREADTIM, MREADTIM, CPUSPEED, MBRC are all null in aux_stats in both environment because workload was never collected i believe.
Attached is details about the SQL with table stats, SQL and index stats my main concern is CBO generating different plans for the similar data and statistics and same hardware and software specs. Is there any thing else I should consider .I generally see environment B being very slow and always plans tend to nested loops and index scan whereas what we really need is a sensible FTS in many cases. One of the very surprising thing is METER_CONFIG_HEADER below which has just 80 blocks of data is being asked for index scan.

I misread your question initially .The system stats are outdated in both ( same result as seen from aux_stats) .I am not a DBA and do not have access to gather system stats fresh.

The iPhone 4 uses a "Nano SIM"
The CDMA iPhone 4 does not use a SIM at all. There is no SIM slot. It is a pure CDMA phone.

I can not get into the iTunes store for the past two days. I can do a search on the music in upper right corner and get a drop down list. However, the screen is then white with "iTunes" in the middle. Any suggestions? Thank you.

If your computer has one of the LSPs listed you may have to reset winsock.

• Multiple Executions Plans for the same SQL statement

Dear experts,
awrsqrpt.sql is showing multiple executions plans for a single SQL statement. How is it possible that one SQL statement will have multiple Executions Plans within the same AWR report.
Below is the awrsqrpt's output for your reference.

Dear experts,
awrsqrpt.sql is showing multiple executions plans for a single SQL statement. How is it possible that one SQL statement will have multiple Executions Plans within the same AWR report. If you're using bind variables and you've histograms on your columns which can be created by default in 10g due to the "SIZE AUTO" default "method_opt" parameter of DBMS_STATS.GATHER__STATS it is quite normal that you get different execution plans for the same SQL statement. Depending on the values passed when the statement is hard parsed (this feature is called "bind variable peeking" and enabled by default since 9i) an execution plan is determined and re-used for all further executions of the same "shared" SQL statement.
If now your statement ages out of the shared pool or is invalidated due to some DDL or statistics gathering activity it will be re-parsed and again the values passed in that particular moment will determine the execution plan. If you have skewed data distribution and a histogram in place that reflects that skewness you might get different execution plans depending on the actual values used.
Since this "flip-flop" behaviour can sometimes be counter-productive if you're unlucky and the values used to hard parse the statement leading to a plan that is unsuitable for the majority of values used afterwards, 11g introduced the "adaptive" cursor sharing that attempts to detect such a situation and can automatically re-evaluate the execution plan of the statement.

• Is it necessary to create a Billing Plan for the Service Contracts

Hi All,
Is it necessary to create a billing plan for the service contracts.
My requirement.
In CRM 7.0, we created a service contract. For the item in that service contract there is a Billing Plan tab.
In that tab we have the dates for Period, Billing Date etc.
Now our requirement is to get the Billing Date quarterly. For this we created date rules and date profiles and assigned these date profiles to header and item level transactions.
And we are able to see the date rules under the drop down of the billing date.
I copied the standard date rule BILL004 to ZBILL004.
But when we changed to our date rule it is not changing to quarterly date.
Can you please let me know what are the configurations to be done for this.
Is the billing plan has to be created for this kind of scenario.
Thanks in advance
Thanks and Regards,
Raghu
