VL04 - Problem in capturing delivery number in background

Hi Friends,
I have a requirement to run VL04 and then do goods issue for all the deliveries created. All of this has be done in the background Can someone please help me in capturing delivery numbers when VL04 is run as BDC ? I read a thread in SDN which spoke about getting delivery number from VBSS table but I do no know how to capture the SAMMG for that table.
Please help. Other approaches of getting this done are also welcome.
Thanks,
Dikshitha G

when writing bdc for error handling try this code
"change this as per your requirement

  • Problem in finding Idoc number from Delivery document number(VERY URGENT)

    Hi experts,
I have a delivery document number. Now i have to find the Idoc number for thet delivery document and extract some necessary data from one of the segment of that Idoc.So I am not able to find a link through tables .
So I exact query is 'what is the selection method i have to follow to get the idoc number given the delivery document number'.
    Regards,
    Praveen.
Edited by: Praveen Jada on Mar 14, 2008 12:15 PM

That's what I meant, do the following query:
DATA: LT_DOCNUM TYPE TABLE OF EDI_DOCNUM.
    SELECT DOCNUM
      INTO TABLE LT_DOCNUM
      FROM EDID4
      WHERE SEGNAM EQ 'E1EDL20'
      AND SDATA EQ '0001234567%'.
This will list you all the IDOC numbers in which delivery number 0001234567 appear in the delivery header segment.
Depending on your process it's probably going to be one entry only.
    Hope that clarifies it,
    Michael

  • How to get the last 3 digits of a Delivery Number

    Hi All,
On the Transfer Order Collective form, the Delivery Number is printed. But I need to capture the last 3 digits of that delivery number and make the 3 digits to be printed on the same form with bigger font size. I would like to know how to capture the last 3 digits.

If so, your form(subroutine) can look like this.
form  get_last_3_digits tables co_sym_using   structure itcsy
                                   co_set_symbols structure itcsy.
      data: xvbeln type likp-vbeln.
    * Get the USING Values
read table co_sym_using with key name = 'LIKP-VBELN'.
      check sy-subrc eq 0.
shift co_sym_using-value left deleting leading space.
      xvbeln  = co_sym_using-value.
    * make sure it is internal format
      call function 'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT'
           exporting
                input  = xvbeln
           importing
                output = xvbeln.
    * Update the value
      read table co_set_symbols index 1.
      co_set_symbols-value = xvbeln+7(3).
      modify co_set_symbols index 1.
    endform.

  • Problem with deleted delivery and cancellation invoice

I have a problem. I have to resolve a cancellation invoice with error saying Missing Export Data. However, when i try to update this invoice, the fields to be updated are all shaded out meaning they cannot be changed. now the problem is, the delivery where the cancellation invoice retrieves its data shows a status of Archived. but when we tried to find it, it seems that it has already been deleted though the status shows Archived. I do not know how they have managed to delete this delivery with the Goods Issue still active, even with the Invoices. All I know is that the user who has deleted the delivery has made a mistake for this.
    Can anybody please help me?

Can you please check the OSS note 908748. It may be of some help to you. The contents are pasted here.
    Symptom
A cancellation document cannot be transferred to accounting because the system has issued error message VF 072:
'Document 90001234 has been saved (foreign trade data incomplete)'.
However, the underlying business process concerns domestic business and the invoice to be cancelled does not contain any foreign trade data.
    Other terms
VF02, VF11, VF072, cancellation, EXNUM, incompleteness, export data
    Reason and Prerequisites
    Prerequisites:
This is a partial cancellation document.
When you create the cancellation document, you inadvertently branch to the foreign trade data and choose 'Set'.
    Reason:
When you choose 'Set' in the foreign trade data, the system assigns an export number, which then results in an incomplete document because the other export data is missing.
    Solution
    Implement the attached correction.
There is no provision to take account of a cancellation scenario in which foreign trade data can be entered or changed.
This correction deactivates the ready for input status of the 'Set' button in order to prevent the system from inadvertently assigning an export number.
In this context, refer also to Note 354222.

  • How to default the MEAN delivery number for a user ?

    Hello Friends,
My client want to have XXXX Delivery Address number by default while creating a PR in the delivery address TAB.
I have checked for Parameter ID but not available. Then I have tried with some Parameter IDs like ADR,ADN & DELV_ID. But I have not succeeded.
Can you please tell  how can i acheive this..
    Murugs

    Hello,
No.The Plant or the Storage location location address can not solve my problem.
I want to use the delivery number as it indicates the exact address of the user.
The fact is that it is already working for that user now he want to change the delivery address number since he is moved to different location.
    thks for your reply.

  • Call transaction 'VL33N' on click of Inbound delivery number  in ALV List.

    Hi,
My ALV output is having Inbound delivery number.
If user clicks on one of the Inbound delivery it has to call transaction VL33N and display the user selected document.
    Code:
    WHEN '&IC1'.
    IF rs_selfield-fieldname = 'VBELN'.
            READ TABLE gt_final INTO wa_final INDEX rs_selfield-tabindex.
            if wa_final-vbeln is not initial.
              FREE MEMORY ID 'VL'.
SET PARAMETER ID 'VL' FIELD WA_FINAL-VBELN.
CALL TRANSACTION 'VL33N' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
            ENDIF.
          ENDIF.
I am setting the parameter id 'VL' by passing Inbound Delivery number. After that it is calling VL33N Screen but the Inbound delivery number is blank. In debugging i can see the SAP memory for 'VL' as the selected document number.
Why VL value is not  transferred to Inbound Delivery number field in VL33 Eventhough Parameter id having value.
    VL (10)  <0180000057>
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Removed Free statement.
          IF rs_selfield-fieldname = 'VBELN'.
            READ TABLE gt_final INTO wa_final INDEX rs_selfield-tabindex.
            if wa_final-vbeln is not initial.
SET PARAMETER ID 'VL' FIELD rs_selfield-value.
CALL TRANSACTION 'VL33N' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN.
            ENDIF.
          ENDIF.
In background VL is passing to VL03N Transaction instead of VL33N.
Outbound delivery and Inbound Delivery both are assigned to same paramer id.
Don't undestand if i'm calling VL33N Why the paramer value is passed to Outbound delivery transaction VL03N.
    Please suggest me.
    Thanks

  • Problem with capturing of baselines

    Hi !
I have a problem with capturing of baselines- when the SQL is called from PL/SQL code...
For example if I execute in SQL* Plus session
    alter session set optimizer_capture_sql_plan_baselines = true;
    exec dbms_mview.refresh('VIEW_CLIENT_KONTO', 'C');
    exec dbms_mview.refresh('VIEW_CLIENT_KONTO', 'C');
nothing happens ..I do not find the baseline in dba_sql_plan_baselines...
    ========================================================
optimizer_use_sql_plan_baselines = TRUE..of course and I can capture baselines for plain SQL -only not if SQL ist invoked from PL/SQL..
Now, nowere in documentation could I find that capturing does not work from PL/SQL ..that would, in my opinion, be sderious disadvantage- so much code in the database runs as PL/SQL..

    optimizer_features_enable = 11.2.0.3

I would suggest that it is because, being executed via DBMS_MVIEW, it is special and bypasses consideration for baselines.

Are baselines created for internal statements from DBMS_MVIEW? No.

Is there a convoluted way of applying a baseline to the internal refresh statement? Yes.

  • Steps to perform MT 605 with delivery number

    Hello all
we have some stocks hanging in "stock in transit" for material.
these where getting moved from plant to plant.
i see a 603 Movement type done and from UNR of plant 1 to stock in transit of plant 2 has happened.
i guess to complete the steps we need to do 605 Movement type.
also, this particular item is not on any PO. it does have delivery number.
wherever i read, it just says do 605 in "SHIPPING".
but i am not able to find, how to really do this.
what transaction to use to do 605 in shipping?
i tried general ones, mb1b, searched in MIGO, but i didnt find any option
in Mb1b it gave me an error "Good movement not possible with this MT"
Basically i want to do GR without PO  but with delivery may be, to take stocks away from "stocks in transit" column and move to appropriate column like UNR.
also if you can tell me what happens at FI ( accounting ) end, it would solve all my problems.
    Thanks
    Kavana

solved! used 305 MT. i guess 605 happens at back end.

  • Deleting the delivery number

    hi
some body deleted the delivery no. that delivery number has been updated to which  table tell me.let me know immediately. that deleted delivery number goes to which table.

I've had this problem in the past.
Deliveries once deleted are completed removed from LIKP/LIPS.
I've implemented in the past, using SAVE DOCUMENT PREPARE user exit (at the time no BADI was available), I updated z Z table everytime XLIKP-updkz = 'D'.
This way you will have a Z table with the deliveries delete, so you can store additional information like user, date and time.
It should do it. Just remember: DO NOT FORCE A COMMIT at that user exit... no explicit DB commits are allowed.

  • How to get Delivery number for given Equipment number?

    Hi,
I have the equipment number and this equipment contains material number and serial number. From these information, how do I get the delivery number/order number?
    Thank you.
    Ashish

    Hi All,
    The problem is solved.
    Here is the link >>
Table OBJK > give equipment number ->>>> this will give us a list of records.
Now go to SER01 > It will have only one record to get corresponding to value of different OBKNR received from filter. Means if we get 5 records from OBJK then out of 5 only one record will have corresponding record in SER01 and rest 4 records will not have any value SER01.
To understand the logic review function module SERIAL_LS_PRINT which works otherway round. It takes delivery and item number and gives us back serial number.
My requirement is otherway round but I know the path to get desired values.
Thank you all for your help.
    Cheers,
    Ashish

  • PO reporting that can capture PO number, PO value and cost center

    Dear SAP expert and gurus,
Would like to seek for your professional advise and consult on which report in MM that can capture the PO number, PO value and cost center.
    Kindly advise.
    Thank you
    Regards
    Leonard Tan

ME80FN is a good report that captured the PO number and amount. However, the cost center is not being captured here. is there any suggestion?
ME2K is not an ideal report to user cause, user requires the data to be shown in one line instead of 2 to 3 line.
Is there any report like ME80FN can be captured PO number, PO value and Cost Center.
    Thank you
    Regards

  • How to look for sales order number if I know outbound delivery number?

How to look for sales order number if I know outbound delivery number?

    Hi ,
If you want to see the Sales order Number from Outbound delivery or invoice,go to their respective T-codes,say for example,
    for delivery,Goto Tcode: VL02N / VL03N.There you will find Document Flow Icon,click on that,or press F7.
You will get a window, there you can see the Sales order Number before your outbound delivery Number

  • Delivery number for a material document posted

    Hi experts,
I need to delivery number for the material document number posted,
I tried to use the field XBLNR from the table MKPF
but i see that the feild is empty in the case of inbound delivery
    why is it so.
How ever i can get the data from VBFA ,but can any one tell me the reason why XBLNR is empty in case of inbound delivery.
    Thanks a lot in Advance.

    Hi,
If you do GR w.r.t. Inbound Delivery No in MIGO then it will not update "Reference" field i.e. XBLNR.
To update same with Inbound Delivery No, you have to do "Post Goods Receipt" from Inbound Delivery Document itself in VL31N or VL32N.

  • Problem in capturing excse invoice

    Hi,
I am facing a problem while capturing excise invoice. I made goods receipt with reference to a single PO containing 3 line items by 101 mvt type. after that i reversed that document using mvt 102 for line item 2 and 3. Now the Original GR document contains only line item 1.
But while capturing Excise invoice with reference to the GR docuumber, system is showing message Document 9000005126   does not contain any selectable items.
Please suggest me how to capture excise invoices in the above scenerios.
    Thanks
    Prasant,

    Prasant,
U said u have made 102 GR cancellation. While doing 102 mov type system will cancel whole document not 2 & 3 document.
So check whether this happened or not.
Thats why there is message of No selectable items.
    Thanks & regards
    Gitesh
