Voicemails alerts in BI, is it possible?

Folks, can anyone tell me if BI Broadcasting can send Voicemail alerts? I know SMS/Pager/E-mail are possible but we have a requirement for sending voicemail alerts....any ideas on this....

It is not possible in the current release. SAP is looking at voice functionalities within the next releases of NW, may be the alerting will also be included in that.

  • Voicemail alert repeats when opening voicemail?

    This has been happening for so long I don't remember when it started, but maybe with iOS 8, or one of the subsequent updates??
    The issue is this:
    I miss a call, and the caller leaves me a message. I have on of the older 'Classic' sounds set as my voicemail alert (Choo Choo), and I hear it right after the voicemail arrives. Then, no matter how long I wait to go to listen to the message, the alert sound goes off again when I open my voicemail.
    I don't believe this is default behavior, and it's really starting to annoy me. As far as I can tell, only Messages has an option to set repeated alerts. In fact, when researching this issue, I found lots of people wanting the option of repeated voicemail alerts! To be clear, what I'm experiencing isn't really what they're asking for, as the alert only happens again when I actually open the Phone app and tap on Voicemail. Very odd...
    Is anyone else experiencing this, or know of a way to disable it? I heard the first alert, and can see the red dot with the '1' in it on Voicemail, telling me I have one unheard message, so I really don't need the Choo Choo sound to ring out again when I go to listen to the voicemail!!
    So many bugs, there's just not enough time to report them all!

  • Voicemail alert now repeats twice?

    Sicne upgrading to ios5, whenever I get a voicemail, the alert will repeat a second time if I don't immediately check it. Any way to disable this? Very annoying! There is a setting for text alert repeats but I don't see one anywhere for voicemail alert repeats!

    I am seeing this too.  The worst is when you are asleep, ignore the call and voicemail alert, drift back to sleep, and then get hit with an alert again a minute later.
    I cannot seem to find any official way to report this as a bug to Apple.  Does anyone know how to do that?
    I read on another similar thread that some people have just turned off voicemail alerts altogether, in order to get this to stop.  I guess that's not a bad option, but still not ideal.

  • How do I get repeat voicemail alerts on my new iphone 3GS?  Please help.

    I got the new iphone 3GS. Right now, if someone leaves a voicemail it beeps once and that's it. This is fine, except when I am not near my phone when this beep sounds. (I would have to manually check the phone to see if anyone called).
    I would like the phone to beep as a reminder that I have a voicemail waiting say every 5 or 10 minutes until I listen to it (or purposely acknowledge there is a vm for me and decide to listen to it later). Can anyone tell me how to set up a "repeat" voicemail alert? (Every phone I have owned has had this).

    It is surprising iphone does not have this feature. My 5 year previous cell phone had the feature, but would also give you the option to disable it if you just wanted 1 beep. That way if you step away from your cell or get busy, you at least had a repeat reminder to check your voicemail. This is CRITICAL in Emergency situations (medical) or time sensitive things that can come up, especially if you don't know about them in advance.
    Can we have more discussion on this? Are we sure this simple feature does not exist for the iphone?? Is there an Application I can get that will help solve this problem? I am sure I am not the only one who could benefit from it.

  • My voicemail alert wont go away even though there are no voicemails

    my voicemail alert wont go away even though there are no voicemails, i have tried turning notifications off and restarting the phoe. the little red circle above the phone icon wont dissapear on the home screen, and the red circle above the voicemail icon wont go away either.

    Make sure you tap on Recent in the Phone app. I've found that when the red badge shows up for a missed call/voicemail it means I need to go to the recent calls view as well to clear out that notice.

  • Voicemail alert through e-mail

    Looked through the forum and could not find an answer. Is it possible to receive and e-mail when a new voicemail is left on my Iphone? I often don't have my phone with me but am near a PC and want to know when I receive voice messages.
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the help. I was hoping ATT would support this but their tech support said to contact Apple... Looks like I'll need a 3rd party app of calling service for it to work.

  • Autom. replication of EarlyWatch Alerts in 2nd Solution Manager possible?

    Hi experts,
    I just received a question from a customer whether it is possible to automatic replicate EarlyWatch Alerts generated for systems in SolMan A to SolMan B without having all satellite systems connected to SolMan B.
    There are two reports available I know: BDL_GET_SESSION_DATA and BDL_GET_DATA_AND_CREATE_SESSIO
    At least via the last report it is possible to read the session number in SolMan A and create a new session with this data in SolMan B. But it is not possible to assign the sessions to a solution or run it as daily job...
    Do you know if there is such a functionality in SAP standard or do we need to build our own solution here?
    Regards, Richard

    Hello,
    This is how you genrate an EWA for on Satellite system in two Solution Manager systems.
    One will be created automatically via the Maintenance Package (providing you followed best practices) or periodic EarlyWatch of Solution Manager Task if you are not follwoing best practices.
    Say we have Solution Manager A & B. In SDCCN in RFC Destinations, we define Solution Manager A as the Master.
    So this will be where the EWA task created by the Maintenace Package task will be sent.
    For the Solution Manager B you created a Earlywatch periodci task, only you make the RFC Destination the SM<SID>CLNT<NO#>_BACK (where the SID is the SID of Solman B) Yoy can refer to SAP NOTE 207223, which is the Note that explains how to send an EWA to SAP. Its the exactsame process, but the destination is changed to the second Solution Manager.
    The data comes from the Satellite/managed system, but can be directed to different destinations.
    But you can't send the data from Solution Manager A to Solution Manager B.
    You can send the data to Solution Manager A & B and process the data on A and on B, or any other Solman system.
    Regards,
    Paul

  • Voicemail Alert

    I would like to know if there is a setting I am missing, or even an app that will make the alert sound activate more than once for a voicemail. If I don't happen to hear it the first time, it could be hours before I see I had a missed call & voicemail. I sometimes work in a noisy envirionment and still may not feel or hear my phone. I would like to be alerted every 10 minutes or whatever, until the the "slide to unlock" is activated to turn it off.
    Is there such a thing?
    Randy

    Unfortunately there is no setting on the iphone to do that.
    Not sure if there is even an app.
    You can try calling your cell provider and see what they can offer.

  • SMS & Voicemail Alert - HELP!

    I have a BB 8310 and ATT as the service provider. I want to set up my phone to give me an alert when I receive a voicemail messages manual indicates the same alert tone is used for both SMS & voicemail. However, I get an SMS I get an alert but I do not with voicemail.  Why am I not getting it for both? How do I fix it?
    I would prefer to separate the alert for SMS and Voicemail with each having a different tone.
    I have been searching the internet and found nothing that works. One web site said to upgrade my Blackberry 8310Desktop software to version 6 or higher. The 8310 model can only use 4.5 or lower. Another said to change it under profiles by selecting voicemail, but that is not an option.
    I have spent hour and hours and nothing had worked. If anyone has figures out please help!
    Thank you.

    Hi shaokotan,
    Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
    If you are not receiving any notifications of new voicemail, I would advise contacting your wireless service provider as voicemail is a carrier controlled service.
    Voicemail notifications are received on your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8310 smartphone via SMS and because of this an SMS notification should be received when a voicemail is received. This KB article provides more information. "How to change alerts for new voice mail messages on a BlackBerry smartphone" http://bbry.lv/QxGjvA

  • Can't send or receive PXTS or voicemail alerts

    I have tried calling Telecom here in NZ and also spoke with the Apple Support Desk but have been directed here to get support with this issue.
    I can not send or receive PXT messages - occasionaly I do but they can take up to a week to arrive.
    I cannot share V-Cards
    I do not receive notifications of voicemail
    I am running software 4.3.5 and I have reset my phone and all the network settings are correct...... any suggestion or help woud be appreciated.

    Contact your carrier. SMS/MMS are a carrier function. There are no settings on the iPhone for regular SMS. Have the carrier check your account to make sure you have SMS activated.

  • "Data Alert" type subscription possible?

    I have a SSRS report running in SP 2010 that pulls and summarizes information from an Oracle database.  My users are interested in seeing the report only if it meets a certain threshold.  I have set up a Data Alert, which will alert them when
    individual lines meet the criteria, but they want to see the entire report like a subscription does.
    I understand that there is a link to the report at the bottom of a data alert, but often users are getting these emails on phones / remote devices where access to our intranet is not possible.  Also, alerts lack the nice formatting possible in the report.
    Is it possible to set up a subscription to a report that behaves like a data alert?  Only emailing the report out when certain criteria is met?

    Subscriptions are time or data event-based activities, but are always executed on a schedule, rather than in response to a change in data.

    SQL*Plus Command Reference - DEFINE
    Whenever you run a stored query or script, SQL*Plus substitutes the value of variable for each substitution variable referencing variable (in the form &variable or &&variable)
    The question is which are the limits of this. Can eg even be between a 'STR&&varING' passed as parameter to some function? Or as parameter I can pass only a single variable and there isnt such auto-casting level ?
    I have created DBCA Scripts to batch create a DB. So I want inside these scripts to replace the DBNAME with a variable. So I can create different DBS with these prescriptions from an API tool.
    E.g here there are 6 different scenarios where I might need to pass the variable. I dont know
    1. On which of the bellow scenarios I can inject the &&var
    2. On which I cant and thus have to create a 2nd VAR to inject the 1st one
    3. Which dont accept variables at all - but only static text

    If you can't test because you are afraid the test might fail, you need to address that issue first.  No one on the web is going to give you iron-clad assurance that some code you write is going to work exactly as you expect.
    Your script is trying to create a database?  What's the worst thing that can happen if it doesn't work?  Do you know how to manually dis-mantle whatever your script does?  If not, you need to learn.  The knowledge you will gain from that exercise will go a long way to improving your understanding of how these things interrelate.

  • Operations Manager - KMS Idle Minutes Monitor Alerts - False Positives As Event ID 12290 Still Being Logged

    Hi all,
    I am using System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager with the Key Management Service Management Pack at version 6.0.7234.0, and I keep receiving the following alert in Operations Manager:
    "Idle Minutes Monitor Alert:
    Key Management Service (KMS) inactivity exceeded threshold
    Knowledge:
    Summary:
    The purpose of this rule is to alert system administrators to a possible KMS or network outage. This rule monitors the end-to-end operation of KMS activation. A notification event is created by KMS if no activation or renewal requests were logged by KMS
    (activity event 12290) in the specified time interval. In addition to new activations, periodic renewal requests are expected to occur (default is 7 days). Whether or not this alert is serious depends on the number of machines in the KMS environment, how many
    are actually connected, and the configured renewal interval.
    Causes:
    Any failure or incorrect configuration of the KMS service, other Windows components, firewall, hardware, network or routers can trigger the Idle Minutes Alert. This alert can also result from normal behavior, since it is possible that not enough machines
    attempted to activate or renew during the specified time interval.
    Resolutions:
    The first step is to determine whether there really is a problem. Start with a known good KMS client and run (with elevated privileges) the script slmgr.vbs -ato . If the activation/renewal fails, it will report an error code. You can direct the client to
    connect to a specific KMS machine by using the slmgr.vbs -skms option. The request event (12288) and response event (12289) in the Windows Application event log may provide additional information, including the identity of failing KMS machines. If there has
    been a failure, check the following:
    Software Licensing service (slsvc) is running.
    Other KMS machine behavior is normal.
    KMS firewall port is open (default is TCP 1688).
    Attempt to connect to KMS using telnet to the KMS port(you won’t be able to do anything other than connect)
    Use a network monitor (e.g. netmon) to capture and trace network problems.
    There is one Idle Minutes Monitor that is used to monitor for activity. It may be desirable to adjust the time threshold, depending on expected KMS activity."
    Despite what the alert says, there are activity events with ID 12290 being logged, but they are appearing under the 'Key Management Service' log instead of the general 'Application' log.  I know that my clients are activating with the server without
    any problems as I have run slmgr.vbs -ato with success on a number of them, and none are stating that activation is required.  This issue was previously raised here:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/systemcenter/en-US/1391acf8-f0be-4a48-9039-8d24e275f1fd/kms-idle-time-monitor-raise-wrong-alerts?forum=operationsmanagermgmtpacks, but  I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and the hotfix KB981314 comes
    up as 'not applicable to this computer' so I assume it is part of SP1 now.  I have also tried installing KB2692929, as that was cited as being a possible fix here:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/systemcenter/en-US/8ec8ae5b-a310-4b0f-9a5f-e0599bceb93a/kms-managementpack?forum=operationsmanagermgmtpacks, however I am still seeing the same alerts.
    Would greatly appreciate any further suggestions!
    Many thanks

    Hi,
    I've checked for all the events that are generated by our servers, and there are periods of time where no requests are received for up to 18 hours, so that is no doubt why the alerts are appearing (we then sometimes see five requests in the same minute,
    but there we go).  I'll need to adjust the thresholds.
    Thank you for your help, Chunky.1, I'll mark your reply as the answer, as it was very helpful in understanding the alert.
    For anyone else who needs to check this, create a PowerShell script using the following content, and place your own details into the relevant sections in bold (without the brackets, of course).  This will generate a csv file which will have the server
    name in one column and the time that the request event was generated - you can then check the gaps between the requests.  The script is quick and dirty, with no checks along the way, so feel free to embellish it as required.
    Out-File "<directory to place file in>\KMS_check_results.csv"
    $results = get-eventlog -ComputerName <KMS server hostname> -logname 'Key Management Service'|where{$_.message -match "<String which identifies servers instead of clients>"}
    $filteredresults = @()
    foreach($event in $results){
        #This splits up the message into sections, separated by commas, and places each section as an element in an array
        $event.Message -split ","|foreach{
            if($_ -match "<server domain suffix - e.g. contoso.com>"){
                $eventserver = $_
        $timegenerated = $event.TimeGenerated
        $filteredresults += New-Object PSObject -Property @{
            Server = $eventserver
            TimeGenerated = $timegenerated
    $filteredresults|select-object server,timegenerated|export-csv "<directory to place file in>\KMS_check_results.csv"  -NoTypeInformation
