vowels are omitted. example in youtube ' john lennon ' would appear 'jhn lnnn' problems appears in hotmail, office-online, google, etc.

Are the problematic applications consistent? Meaning is it always a problem with Hotmail, office online, and Google? Have you tried a different web browser? What browser are you using? Also, what happens if you try another keyboard? Are you using Windows 7 32bit or 64bit?

My trackpad wont register when i click down on both sides. I have a MBP from 2009.

Just yesterday my mouse was going crazy moving all over the place and clicking everything and so i restarted it. Then when i turned my MBP back on it worked fine for a few minutes and then went crazy after a while.

Check for a swollen battery. It is under the trackpad and if swollen, it puts upward pressure on it from inside the MacBook causing erratic behavior. I replaced my battery on my 2009 MacBook and it solved the problem. Mine was swollen by almost 3/16" of an inch.

Hello, I have the HP2000 laptop and my key compresses frequently d not register unless pressed alot harder than normal. This pc is only a few months od and I feel this is not usual. Is there a quick fix or adjustment or am I stuck learning how to type like a caveman with 10lb fingers???

Well you should not have to press the keyboard extremely hard to get it to recognize your key strokes. Have you connected an external keyboard to see if the issue occurs still?

There should be a Continue button in the lower right hand corner of the window you need to continue to continue and complete the registration process. If you are unable to see this button, try adjusting your monitor's resolution.

Hi there have a simple answer that works(i did it on my friends iPod touch 4 gen)
Plug the iPod into your sons iPod doc or wall adapter ...NOT PC OR MAC... And hold the sleep and menu button for THIRTY seconds.... This will wipe the iPod clear and will also leave it blank then do not use it at all in anyway shape or form. Wait for ios5 to come out( October the 12th 2011) and then Plug it into your PC or Mac that you originally had it synced with and it will work

If the center portion of the monitor is flickering then your GPU on the logic is bad or (unlikely given this symptom) that your monitor cable is pinched/damaged.

Xterm sometimes fail to wrap when typing

When typing a long command (beyond the window edge) xterm will sometimes fail to wrap to a new line and instead begin writing over the current line. It's like it does a \r (carriage return) when it should have done a \n (new line).
The result is sort of what you'd get if you did 'echo -e "SOME_COMMAND_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH\rTHIS_SHOULD_BE_WRAPPED"'.
Of course this scrambles everything I do to an extend where xterm becomes unusable and often I have to close the corrupted xterm and open another. It's really starting to annoy me. I can't image what might cause this, but the problem seems to come up when I've been using the xterm for some time (some different tasks). Newly opened xterms are always fine.

Use 'reset' to fix a "broken" terminal instead of opening a new one, this should ease things. Terminal state can be altered by certain control sequences/characters, e.g. if you cat a binary file you're likely to end up with a terminal that needs a reset. Check USB connections

When typing in the selected tab, it types in another opened tab that is not selected, how is this fixed?

For example:
I have 3 tabs open.
I have tab 1 selected, I switch to tab 3 and proceed to type (Log in details for example)
When typing it out, the information I enter types out on tab 1, rather than 3, sometimes I don't check and press enter (Causing it to enter on tab 1, which could cause me to show my password on another site)
I have to switch between tabs like 3-4 times in order to sort the priority out.

Trouble when typing and scrolling on Curve 9300

My girlfriend had a bb curve 9300 and has an issue when she types text and scrolls through the menus. When typing txt the phone will produce random foreign characters (the language is definetly set to english) and the cursor will move randomly throught the txt so she can't construct sentences as it will sometimes start typing within another word. Also when she's scrolling through the menus the cursor will move all over the screen and not in order. E.g when she scrolls down it will jump to an icon sometimes on the other side of the screen. Her phone provider has washed their hands of it saying its out of warranty but they sent it away anyway and it came back saying its water damaged, impossible as its always in a case and never out of her sight, and wasn't worth their while fixing it. I sent it off through my bank insurance and its come back today allegedly 'fixed' however within half an hour its doing it again. Any suggestions apart from giving her my bold when I get my new one when I upgrade next week?

Hi, it sounds like you are running into a known issue with a mobile app using the spark textinput (assuming its mobile as you are referring to piping and pushing views)

When typing on my laptop keyboard, sometimes the palm of my hand will hit some keys, don't know what or where, and my page might change or I lose what I have typed. Does this have anything to do with the "hot keys" on my key board for my Toshiba computer? Should I or can I turn off hot keys to avoid this? Please help as it is very frustrating when in the middle of something.

I found on my laptop that the touch pad was interfering too much when I was typing so I started using a USB mouse and disabling the pad. It didn't stop all the behaviour you describe, but it has cut it down considerably. Now the only time this problem occurs is when I am being klutzy with my typing, such as hitting the Enter key when I want the right Shift key.
