VWLC wireless CWA support

I am working on an ISE demo with version 1.1.2 and vWLC 7.3.101.0 code and am configuring wireless CWA.  I get the following error message: Cannot enable MAC filtering and other Layer2 Security with RADIUS NAC.
Does anyone know if wireless CWA is supported on the Virtual WLC platform?  I know it is supported on the 25/55xx controllers as of 7.2 code.

Jeff,
You can not combine mac filtering with dot1x on the SSID. You will have to use 2 seperate SSIDs, one with mac filtering and the other with dot1x.
Also you will need to open a tac case since the vlan assignment is not working on the published code releases, i ran into this a few weeks back and the bug id is - CSCua58554
Thanks,
Tarik Admani

    The Cisco 1300's and 1400's support point-to-point and point-to-multipoint. The 1230G can only support point-to-point (i think)

  • VWLC does not support 802.11ac standard?

On data sheet page, on wireless standards i cannot see 802.11ac  to be supported.
why? it is not supported or is just an error on the data sheet.

802.11ac support is tied to the access point and the compatibility with code version on the WLC/vWLC.  SO as long as you have 802.11ac access points and the proper supported WLC/vWLC code, 802.11ac will be available.

  • Does the 27" iMac wireless card support 802.11a and n

does the iMac support the 5 GHz wifi format?  How about the N spec?

    I'm sorry but I don't understand this:
the unit supports 802.11a channels but it doesn't pick up anything.
Are you saying the iMac cannot connect wirelessly? And why would you be concerned that the very old 'a' standard may not be picked up? The latest standard is 802.11n, not a.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11
So, is the iMac working wirelessly or not?

  • How do I tell if I have Wireless N support.

I bought a MacBook in roughly October of 2006. I was wondering how to tell if the wireless that I have supports wireless N before I buy the unlocker for it. I checked in the Network utility and it doesn't list 'N' in the designation but I thought that it wouldn't show up until it was unlocked anyway.
    Maybe I'm just confused
Any Help/incite would be greatly appreciated.

  • Ise wireless cwa AUP respond

After ISE 1.2, WLC 2504, LAP 1602i, flexconnect mode, cwa, dynamic vlan, redirect url validation is successful, if it is verified by using the AUP, AUP pop, agree and then successfully passed. But without using the AUP, that choice is in the AUP not used, then the login screen has been stuck on the progress bar, but in fact has been validated, close the screen to view vlan and ip will find already successfully switched, these phenomena are phone connection, the computer normally, if adopted flexconnect mode, local mode phone is normal, do not enable AUP verified by the successful interface pops up immediately. Why flexconnect mode whether the case AUP opportunity to start a response card, set where there are problems, we ask, thank you

  • WUSB (Wireless USB) support and MacOS X?

I am interested in connecting my USB devices wirelessly to my Mac. I have read about several devices that implement the WUSB specification, but none of them support MacOS X. Does anyone know of any that are officially supported or are able to be used with the help of a third-party driver?

    Andre,
I'd love to have an answer to that question as well. I've considered getting a projector and would love the ability to get the video to the projector over a WUSB-VGA dongle so that I didn't have to run a cable from my notebook computer to the projector.
Then I could stream the audio to my stereo with Airport Express, the video to a projector/TV with the WUSB-VGA dongle and have the laptop sitting anywhere in the room I wanted it to sit. For that matter, I could switch out the notebook in this senario with a mac-mini that was permenantly hooked up to the stereo and flat panel TV, but then use the WUSB-VGA dongle to get an image to another TV/projector somewhere else in the room...without running another cable.
If anyone out there knows of a WUSB hub or WUSB-VGA dongle that will work with OS 10.5.x, please chip in.
    Thanks,
    Mike

  • 800 series with wireless repeater supports?

    Hi,
Can anyone confirm if any of the 800 series routers support wireless station-mode repeater?
The software configuration guide suggests it is possible but I've been unable to find a definitive answer.

  • A2DP Wireless Headphone Support

I have a 17in PowerBook G4. I recently purchased a pair of Logitech bluetooth headphones for use with my iPod. Using the bluetooth control panel in OS 10.4.7 (or whatever is the current latest version), I was able to get the computer to recognized and pair with the headphones using the 0000 passkey to pair up the system. However, the computer does not recognize any services from these headphones. As I understand it, the bluetooth chipset used by Apple is able to support the A2DP wireless protocol but the software has not been written yet to make it so. Does anyone know of a patch or other means to use the bluetooth built into my laptop to communicate with my headphones? I'm awfully sick and tired of using the little extension bridge for the iPod module to listen to 'tunes from the 'top.
    Thanks!

There are a lot of people hoping Apple releases a software or firmware update to enable this, but for now it isn't possible. I haven't been able to locate anything stating when they might come out with something, either.

  • No Wireless Volume Support - Win7 x64 - X-Fi Notebook

Today, I installed my Sound Blaster X-Fi Notebook onto my Sony VAIO VPC-F2FX/B running Win7 Home Premium x64, and connected to my Gigaworks T20W wireless 2.0 speakers.
I have no ability to volume control while running wireless but through iTunes or by directly adjusting from the speakers themselves (which kind of negates the benefit of being wireless, right?). I cannot adjust the volume using dedicated media keys, my speaker icon in the system tray, PowerDVD, or Creative Console Launcher. All of these programs show volume is ajusting when the dedicated volume keys are pressed, but the output does is unaffected.
I'm only able to adjust volume normally while the speakers are connected by cable to the audio out jack on the X-Fi Notebook card. Again, this completely defeats the purpose of $00 wireless speakers and $90 wireless sound card.
When will Creative provide proper product support for a Win7, a well established operating system that's been out for more than a year?
Why am I wireless if I cannot use it the way it was intended?
Looking forward to a solution or better drivers to launch very soon.

It's remarkable that even after releasing a Win7 driver this month that Creative Labs is STILL incapable of getting this product supported.
Wireless music volume control still does not work through Win7 volume control.
    Useless product.

  • Wireless adapter support Management Frame Protection

What are the wireless adapters and  compatible with MFP (ccxv5)

I don't think there is a list for these. You just need to search using Google for:
    802.11 wireless adapters ccx v5
This will show you some vendors that have specific cards that are ccx v5 but you will have to look through each vendors chart. If you want to see if some of your existing clients are ccx v5 compatible, you can issue from the WLC cli:
    show client detail
    show client ccx rm status

  • GigaWorks G550W Wireless headphone support

    Hello
I read that the GigaWorks ProGamer G550W has wireless head phone support, but in the users guide it only says "with select creative headphones" but it doesn't say which ones. I have searched this website and can't seem to find anything.
I was also wondering if it would support more than one wireless pair of headphones at the same time.
    Thank you
    David

You may need to contact support on this issue. When you turn on the wireless receiver, it should be detecte with in one second (the LED will change from red to blue.) Sorry if I wasn't much help.
