Wage type permissiblity per personal sub area

hi gurus
can anybody tell me what is meaning of 0 to 9 numbers in define wage type permissiblity for each PS  and ESG

Your other thread PERSONAL SUBAREA GROUPING FOR PRIMARY WAGE TYPE and this one are related...
Basically you handle a grouping of PA/PSA or EG/ESG and give it a value of 0 - 9. Using that grouping value, you determine permissibility for it.
For example you personnel area is 111 and personnel sub area is FNC and you give it a value of PS grouping 1...
You then do the same grouping to the EG and ESG and give it a grouping of 1...
When you go to Permissibility of Wage Types
SPRO -> PM -> PA -> Payroll Data -> Basic Pay -> Wage Types -> Check Wage Type Catalog -> Define Wage Type Permissibility for each PS and ESG
or known as table V_511_B
You then set this to the wage type...
The person has to belong to PS grouping (111 and FNC) and ES Grouping (whever you set as a combo) to be eligible to use that wage type

  • Config change-certain plans for specific personal sub-area

    Hi,
I have a requirement like, currently there are 3 health plans configured in the system for the employees of the company. It is open for all the personal areas and sub-areas.
Now there is a requirement to change the config as follows:-
The plans (2 health plans and 1 dental plan) should be available only for sunnyvale employees. How do I make these changes so that the plans are available only for employees of sunnyvale personal sub-area. (Personal area=California and personal sub-area= sunnyvale)
Need your guidance at the earliest. Kindly help.
    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply.
    Let me explain again
Currently, there are 3 health plans configured in the system as follows
    Plan Type: Medical & Dental
They are a total of 3 plans which are right now available to all the employees of California.
I need to make the following changes w.r.t to the following details
    Personal area = California
    Personal subarea=Sunnyvale
    Emp group=full, temp, intern, retired
    Emp subgroup=full, part
I need the above mentioned 3 plans to be available to only the employees of sunnyvale and not the entire california.
I don't know where to go and make the changes so that the plans are available only for the employees of sunnyvale (And not for all the employees of California)
    Hope this explains the scenario.
    Thank you

  • Authorization restriction by personal sub area wise

    Dear Friends,
Can i restrict HR user by personal sub area. Currently i was restricted by personal area wise. But current requirement is personal sub area wise.
Which object is to be created .
    Please reply urgently.
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Sachin

    HI Alex,
The standard PA authorisations P_ORGIN and P_ORGINCON do not have Personnel Subarea restrictions available unfortunately. Your only standard options are Personnel Area, Employee Group and Employee Subgroup.
You could possibly do something using the Organisational Key field with allows you to essentially define a customised field restriction within the P_ORGIN  or P_ORGINCON object. My advice would be to try and work around this though as Org Key restrictions can get very complex if you are not careful and can be difficult to maintain as a result.
    Hope this helps.

  • Benefits Wage Types

    Hi Friends,
My client (US) is using third party payroll (ADP Payroll) for Payroll processing. All wage types related to benefit plans are manually maintained in the Infotype 0014 for each and every employee which is then being sent to the third party through IDOCs.
Now my client does not want to maintain the benefit wage types manually in the IT0014 for each and every employee as its a tedious process. There is a separate node called benefits integration in payroll where benefit wage types are maintained for each and every benefit plan so that it reflects in the employees' pay slips. But they do not use payroll.
My doubt is that in case we use this node (enter wage types for plans) under benefits integration, how can the wage type data flow from the node  to the third party payroll processing with out using the IT 0014 manually?
    Please help.
    Thanks and Regards,
    S. Veenadhari.
For better Results the thread is moved from HCM to North American payroll

Are you using 'HRMD_A' message type to send idoc from SAP to ADP ? The problem is benefit infotypes (e.g. PA0167, PA0168, ...) do not physically have fields for premium as these values are derived.
You probably could resolve this by creating additional segments/fields  in the idoc, and populate these fields with the above function in outbound user-exit . However, please note that the insurance premiums are dynamically calculated based on calculation date and benefiit premium's configuration change. Therefore, if there's a config change in premium, if you don't create new benefit infotypes accordingly, ALE will not be triggered to send the change to ADP system.

  • Calculation of difference of wages types master data and accounting cluster

Hi, I am developing a ABAP HR report for calculating the difference of wage types master data and accounting data and in the output i need to display the fields like
    • Officer in-charge of payroll accounting
    • Officer in-charge of Support
    • Officer in-charge of time recording
also from where I could get the accounting cluster data for the wage types
I want to know from where I can get these fields and how ther are related with wage types.

Check through PA30,there are different infotypes by which these data are maintained in the Employee Master.

  • FI-TV   WAGE TYPE

    HI Gurus.
I'm Customizing Travel managment for a subsidiary company in Ecuador, But the Country Groupping doesn't have WAGE TYPE created, then I can't copy or create new WAGE TYPES. How Can'I create WAGE TYPES if I dont have "Originals WAGE TYPE" or Models?
    Regards
    André

    Hi,
As there is no country version of Travel Management for some countries at the
moment, there are no wage types delivered for the country grouping.
Neither do we deliver wage types for country grouping 99, as they
    are country-specific.
As we do not know how these wagetypes should be customized (how amounts
are to be taxed etc.) we can not give any advices regarding this
subject. In general, the you can create all the wage types you need
and assign them to the expense types you are using.
Or you may copy them from another country grouping and change them.
All wage types delivered for travel expenses are named like MJ**
    (in wage type group 00TR).
You can use country grouping for that. When there is no special
country version (like in Ecaudor) the travel accounting will be made
according to an international version, which - of course - may not
fulfill all legal requirements. It is up to you to take care of
    that.
Please have a look at  the report RPRMORDE if this could help in
copying the standard entry in table T706K.
Please read first the documentation of this report !
If you call the report all tables will be marked by default.
So if you don't want to copy all tables of the trip prov. variant
you have to demark them first.

  • Personnel Sub areas as per the departments...

    Hi
is it correct to have personnel subareas acoording to department wise. ex :- Can hr, finance, sales departments be made as personnel subareas in enterprise structure. ???
    Regards
    Mohammed

    Hi,
Personnel Subareas are the subdivision of Personnel Area and it is a must to define a pay scale  area, pay scale type and one holiday calendar for each personnel subarea.
It is also important to keep the control features in mind while defining the personnel sub area:
    1. Specifying the country grouping; this controls the dialog for entering country-specific personnel data and the setting up and processing of wage types and pay scale groups in Payroll; within a company code, the country grouping must be unambiguous
    2. Assigning a legal entity to differentiate between the individual companies from a legal point of view
    3. It specifies groupings for Time Management. This enables you, for example, to set up work schedules, substitution types, absence types, and leave types on the basis of a specific personnel subarea.
    4. The personnel subarea is a selection criterion for evaluations.
    5. The personnel subarea is used to generate default values for pay scale area and pay scale type for an employeeu2019s basic pay.
    6. It specifies the public holiday calendar.
    7. Defining personnel subarea-specific wage types per personnel area
    8. It assigns a legal person for payroll.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Report for wage type with number, amount and amount per unit?

    Hi friends.
I would like to know if there exits a report for wage type (like the PC00_M99_CWTR) that shows the number (anzhl), amount per unit (betpe) and the amount (betrg) of a person for a specific wage type.
The standar report PC00_M99_CWTR does not display the amount per unit (betpe).

  • How to delete sub types in a wage type

    hi experts,
how to delete the subtypes in a wage type . with out deleting the wage type but it should not display in the wage type list

    Hi Deepti,
Its not deletions, I think u need restriction based on the employee sub group and personnel sub area.
For this u have to do the following settigns
    1. Maintain grouping for Employee sub grp in table  V_503_G
2.Maintain the grouping for Personnel Sub area in table V_001P_K
    3. Then go to the table V_511_B and double click on the wage type, u will be able to view 0 to 9 for EES, & PS
In step 2 & 3 what ever the groupings u have maintained under that number maintain the value '1' and remaining field leave blank. So that the wage type will apllicable and visible to those EES & PS only
If you don't want for any EES & PS then maintain all the numbers with blank in the table V_511_B. That will not display in the list.
Never try to delet the wage type, it leads to errors

  • US-PY-PT What are the time of wage types?

    Gurus,
I am new to HR and have some basic questions.
I read some documentation and need some clarifications.
    1. What is time wage type?
All the wage types created in B2 cluster (assuming PT component is enabled).
    2. What is non-time wage type? (also refered as dialog wage type)
All wage types created by PA30 infotypes.
The only exception is 2010 which can have user
entered wage types. If enter wage type has only number - then it is time wage type. Otherwise, it
         is non-time wage type.
    Do I understand this correctly?
Are there any changes needed for the above two statements?
    Please help...
    Thanks,

    Dear,
    1. What is time wage type?
Time Wage types are generated during time evaluation with their amount as only NUm field is there for time wage types as Overtime hours
    2. What is non-time wage type? (also refered as dialog wage type)
Valuation of non time wage types are done out of Time Evaluation . Like wage types entered in IT 0008 , 0014, 0015 etc
    3.
In IT 2010 we can enter Time wage types as well as other wage types even this IT is used for enttering Overtime wage types
