Waiting in XI and matching an outgoing value with an incoming response

Does anyone know how to "wait" in a normal XI interface? I need to send data to a bank and retain the sum value. Then wait for them to respond and see if the values match. If they match I do nothing - If they don't I send an email.

hi,
many ways to achieve that:
- you can send a message with a BPM (and wait for correlated value)
but it involves the use of a BPM + don't know how long you need to wait
- with the first flow you can also store the value of the sum + some identifier
and just check if with the bank's reponse with another flow
faster as no BPM involved

Compare two columns and match ALL recurring values, not just the first instance

Hi everybody...
I was looking for a way to compare values in two columns, identifying every duplicate value instance on a third column.
Searching around the forums, I found a solution, albeit a partial one; I am using this formula: =IFERROR("Duplicate in row "&MATCH($A,$B,0),"") along column C, to compare values between columns A and B. When applied, the formula will render the first instance where there is a duplicate; unfortunately MATCH will only register the first instance of the duplicated values.
For example:
The first value on column A is 'Apple'. On column B there are three instances for the value 'Apple', the formula identifies the first of these values, but not the remaining two.
I am not an advanced Numbers or Excel user, and the answer to this problem eludes me. I am attempting to compare columns that have no less than 1000 rows each, so you can imagine how, finding a solution to my problem would be really great.

Unfortunately I can't see your screenshot, but supposing you have a table like this:

Then here is one way to flag the duplicates.
The formula in C2, copied down, is:
=IF(COUNTIF($A,$B2)≥1,"Dupe","")
Then filter on column C for 'Dupe', and copy the values in column B to wherever you need them.

SharePoint Calc Column - How to Find and Replace ANY & ALL Values with Something Else

Haven't found a solution on this even though it seems like it should be cut and dry.
I have a column containing characters "-" (e.g., XXX123-123-fjhrh-sdafsdfsd). I want to find every "-" and replace it with "@". Seems easy but so far haven't found a solution. My calc column always seems to stop at the first
occurence of "-" and only replace that one. Seems every forumula wants you to tell SharePoint where to start (position). You can't simply tell SharePoint, Find this "-" ALL OCCURENCES and replace with this "@" ALL OCCURENCES.
I don't have the option of saying start at this position because my data is not the same in every cell/field (e.g., number of characters).
Closest I've gotten is this:
=REPLACE([IN THIS COLUMN],FIND("-",[IN THIS COLUMN]),LEN("-","@")
RESULTS:
XXX@123-XXX-123

The formula only works when there are only three "-" in the column value, and the formula will fail if there are more than or less than three "-" in the column value.
I recommend to use Jquery code to replace the characters in the column called IN THIS COLUMN in the UI:

Matching user selection value with xml statements

I'm fairly new to the Spry framework and I'm trying to
accomplish a simple project with it and struggling. Can anyone give
me some direction or suggest some samples to look at?
I'm creating a survey and I've generated a radio button list
that will appear with each statement in my xml. I could write a
general javascript function that captures the value and totals it,
but it is a little more complex than that and that's where I'm
stuck.
Each statement has a career type associated with it (which
I've stuck in the code, but will hide it later). I want to get the
value of the user's checked radio button and then add it to a
variable based on the career type? How do I get that career type
and associate it with the user's choice? Do I need to put a
function in "onclick" and set it as the current row?

I would try writing out my radios like this:

And then define a function that tracks the answers by career
type:

Mail crashes and cannot delete outgoing message with large attachment

Tried to send an email with too large an attachment. Now it is stuck in Outgoing Mail. I cannot delete it. It just causes the spinning ball and then eventually mail crashes. I need a way to delete the outgoing message. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try this:
1. Quit Mail if it’s running.
2. In the Finder, go to ~/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/.
3. Locate Outbox.mbox and move it to the Trash.
4. Open Mail. A new (empty) Outbox.mbox will be created automatically.
Note: For those not familiarized with the ~/ notation, it refers to the user’s home folder. That is, ~/Library is the Library folder within the user’s home folder, i.e. /Users/username/Library.

Matching a filter value with mutiple fact columns

I have been given following requirement to implement in OBIEE dashboard. There is a dimension table which stores Sales Rep IDs and their names. Fact table stores the Sales opportunities identified by these sales reps. Now they can work on the opportunity in any role...say as consultant or primary rep or some other role. Lets call it Role1, Role2 and Role3. The requirement is when user selects a Sales rep name in the filter; the dashboard should show all those opportunities on which he worked in any of the capacities i.e.Role1 or 2 or 3.
My Fact table has following columns
Role1_Sales_Rep_ID
Role2_Sales_Rep_ID
Role3_Sales_Rep_ID
The Dimension has
Sales_Rep_ID
Sales_rep_Name
I tries putting following condition ion physical layer join
Dim.Sales_Rep_ID = fact.Role1_Sales_Rep_ID
Or Dim.Sales_Rep_ID = fact.Role2_Sales_Rep_ID
Or Dim.Sales_Rep_ID = fact.Role3_Sales_Rep_ID
but the RPD gives an error saying that Dim.Sale_Rep_ID used more than once. Please help me solve this scenarion or please suggest any alternate solution.

take the three fact tables role1,role2,role3 and the dimension table first click the dimension table and join it to role1 so it becomes 1:N the same way again click dimension table and click the role2 and repeat the process then you can achieve what you want.
Another simpler work around is take all the fact tables into single folder/table and the important columns for your requirment.Then now 1 fact and 1 dimension so its simple for you.

Rented movies and films don't work with iTunes (no response error)

recently, I've rented a movie via iTunes but every time I try to watch it there's no response from iTunes anymore and I have to close the application. I've tried updating, re-installing iTunes and QuickTime Player but still no response. Videocard and Directx are also up to date. Same problem occurs while trying to watch trailers in iTunes Store. Anybody any solution or idea? I have a Windows Vista PC by the way

I discovered the answer to my own problem and anyone else out there who needs it here it is: If you have itunes installed on your computer and cd/dvd device is not working do a system restore to a time prior to the dl of itunes. Check to make sure your cd/dvd works again. If it does, then all you need to do is make sure your ipod is NOT connected to your computer while you download itunes again. Should fix the problem.

We've got a query result as the following:
Jan_2007 -- Feb_2007 -- Mar_2007 -- Apr_2007

In the above query result,
1st row shows the sales quantity in Jan_2007 is 0, in Feb_2007 is 54, in Mar_2007 is 0, and in Apr_2007 is 3.
2nd row shows the sales quantity in Jan_2007 is 23, in Feb_2007 is 0, in Mar_2007 is 12, and in Apr_2007 is 7.
We would like to add a new column to get the first/last month value with quantity, e.g., in 1st row, the 1st month value with quantity value (>0) is Feb_2007, and the last month value with quantity value (>0) is Apr_2007. Therefore the 1st month value with qty is Feb_2007 and the last month value with qty is Apr_2007. In 2nd row, the first month value with qty is Jan_2007 and the last month value with qty is Apr_2007. But how to use formular to get the 1st/last month values with qty?

Payment in CJIA and document in FB03, Value not matching

Dear Gurus,
In a scenario where user has made a payment to vendor, a clearing document has been posted. The values are not martching in payment transaction, CJIA and the document disaplay FB03. Please find the screen shot as below:
The amount paid in FB03 TC is 11,550,730.20- and 7,945,096.92.
Whereas in CJIA report it displays 61,363,254.58- and 55,591,175.59
Kindly Note, I have already deleted and regenerated Project cash management document via programs RFFMDL16 and RFFMRP15P, but the values displays same.
I am not able to understand the values which are shown in TC CJIA.
Kindly provide your input.

Thanks for your reply. There are no entries in table RPSCO.
But the entries are in table COFP with BTran as KAFM and value type 57.
Regarding your questions: Another thing that i wanted to know is whether you ran CJFN for the accounting document after doing the actual payment?
Initially these values were displaying once the payment was done (VType 57). I tried to execute the correction programs considering there will be inconsistencies in table. But the values did not changed. After this values were displaying in VType 54 and hence I execute CJFN to display Vtype as 57 such as to bring the system display as initial condition.
Let me know if this helps. Further inputs awaited.

I have found that scrolling through the album list (past albums without art) triggers the progress wheel next to the wifi symbol. You can scroll quickly through the whole collection and then wait! Artwork will appear gradually...
However, repeat visits to the Music App might initially show no artwork again, but it might spontaneously appear more quickly this time. The bad news is that the whole Music App is now sluggish as ****...

I have a column that can contain none, one or many recordIDs
(from another table) stored as comma-delimited text strings (i.e.,
a list). I need to retrieve all records that match a single value
within that list.
For example, if I want to match all values that equal
recordID 3, and I use ... WHERE MyColumn IN ('3') ... , I will get
all records that have EXACTLY 3 as the value of MyColumn, but not
any MyColumn records whose values include 3, if they are instances
such as "3,17" or the like.
Also using the LIKE operator -- as WHERE MyColumn LIKE '%3%'
-- will get me unwanted records with values such as 35 or 13 ...
Can I use some sort of intervening ColdFusion list processing
to output only the desired records?

That is to count all rows in column 1 where the value matches the current value for column 1?

I am having the very same problem with iTunes, I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and started having the problem after the latest update. I just upgraded to the new 5s and was syncing everything to it, so I figured that I would update my itunes software as well. Which I never do after updating one time and had trouble with it on my old laptop and had to rollback to a older version of itunes. I have tried every suggestion that has been posted in the Apple Discussion area and on other websites no luck what so ever. I figured I will wait till Apple comes out with another update and try again. In the post above I am having the exact problem with iTunes. I'd love to know what thef-ing problem is because this is extremely annoying!

Is there a way to turn the pattern matching example in Labview to instead of loading a rectangle around what you want the template to be you can use an image display , I've be trying and can get no where with it

What I want to do is , have two images on image displays and the pass them through the same setup as the pattern matching example to get the number of matches , I have attached what I have done and also given the pattern matching example program as well.

Hi there!
The example used can be adapted for comparing two images, however the algorithm and coding for finding the differences is more specific to your actual problem. In terms of the loading and displaying of the images, this can be done in the same way.
Once you have some sort of algorithm, then you can automate the learning and matching by simply wiring them in order. (in the example, these are put in case structures as they are waiting on response from the front panel)
