hi kiran
if you want to delete the query while doing the deletion it will ask you the request....tag into some request and send it to QA..

Unable to collect the changed query elements to a transportable request
Hi All,
I had saved the query changes to dummy request, now I have to collect the changed qurey elements in a transportable request. This I am doing in the transport connection tab in rsa1. Now I want to collect only the changed elements of the query, & not all the elements. I have made (changes) restriction to a key figure inside the keyfigure collum. Now when I try to make a collection of this to a transport request - I am unable to find it under the query elements in the transport collection.
Pls advice how to collect it in a transport request & move it?
Thanks & Reagrds,
Shreesh.Hi Shreesh,
It may be collected under default request. You can collect changed objects by releasing default request.
aftre releasing default request
go transport connection(TX-RSOR) object type -
>query elements -
> Query--> collect your query.
Grouping option as only necessary object
then click on "Package"
then check for your objects if not checked against your query elements(which you want to collect), plz check. at the same time check for your query name it should also be checked then only query will carry the changes.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks,
Vijay. -
How to attach Query deletion to a transport request
Hi All,
I deleted a query in Dev and need to transport it all the way to Prod , how should I attache deletion of objects to transport request ?
Regards,
ShwetaHi Shweta,
Generally for any query changes we create a transport request first and then record the changes in that trasport request. This is created in Transport Connection tab of RSA1 screen. There you need to provide the transport request number for BEx query changes and then save it. Afterwards whatever changes are done in the query gets recorded in that TR and finally we transport the TR.
Check if any transport request is already created for the Query changes in your system. If its there then just transport that request.

How to delete a query from transport.
I have created 5 queries and added to a transport request, now I don't want to transport one query, how to delete it from transport request?
ThanksHi,
There you search for the query and delete that only.
Or just double click on the request in which you want to delete. It will shows as Display request, There find out the request with technical name, select it and choose cut, save the request.
it will delete the request.
Hope it helps you.
Let us know if you still have any issues.

How could be delete bex query name those have already transport in bw prd??
Hello Expert,
I would like to delet bex query technical name with description those have already transport in bw prd ,
Beacuse I have to enchanment same name of report. I did copied and save as different name of dev bex qurey in dev.
I would like to delete old report name and rename
so, how could be achieve
Regards
WasemHi Wasem,
Confirm first your reports are transported to BW PRD,if transported successfully to BW PRD.
Then manually delete report by open that report in query designer by simple choose delete option from query menu.It will prompt to collect in a request.Keep in mind do not transport that request to BW PRD.Just delete that request in BW Dev system.

How to find out who has deleted my query
Dear SDNs,
My query has been deleted in Prd system, so I want to know who did it.
I try to get the log from SLG1 and SM21, but I can't get any information about the query deletion.
I have also tried to read record from table RSRREPDIR, and this table can only supply the information of query which is not deleted.
Could you tell you the way to find out it?
Thanks a lot.
Best regards
TianliHi Pravender,
I have tested it.
If you delete the query var T-code RSZDELETE,then you can find the log in SLG1.But if you delete the query in query designer, you can find nothing in SLG1. -
BEx error when deleting a query in BWD
Hi All,
I am getting error "BEx Transport request BWD903385 is not available or not suitable" when trying to delete a query in BEx in BWD. Does any body knows the solution to this. Thanks in advance and I will assign points.Hi Toja,
It means that this query has been transported to other systems and so you need an open transport request to capture this delete and send it to other systems. Please create a new request and assign it to the Dev Package that this query is assigned to (RSA1 > Transport connection > Bex Truck icon). Then log back into Bex and try to delete the query.
Hope this helps... -
How to find out who is delete my query
Hi all,
Today I lose my query in production environment. Is it any other way to find out who is delete my query?
Because we share our server with BPC team, I afraid that they do something in our server.
Thanks beforehand.
Regards,
Stephhi,
Open the table 'RSRREPDIR' in Dev and give your Query Name in COMPID field and execute.
Take the COMPUID value from that and Go to table 'E071' in production and execute it with COMPUID.
In 'E071' table, there is a field called OBJFUNC. This field get populate with value 'D' is some one deleted the query using transport request, you can also see the transport under which it got deleted.
In case someone deleted it directly in production then it cannot be traced.

This is my first post in this forum regarding query tuning, so my sincere apologies in advance if I have:
1) not included sufficient information,
2) included too much information,
3) not posted to the correct forum
I read through Randolf Geist's web page on instructions to post a query tuning request
and attempted to follow it as closely as possible.
I am attempting to figure out where a view I have constructed can be optimized.
It takes approx. 45 seconds to 1 minute to run; I would like to cut that down to 10 seconds if possible.
The view itself is somewhat complex; I will post the actual code if it will help you help me. Please advise.
I was under the impression that posting the code was not necessary, but if it is, let me know and I will post it.
I have been doing SQL development for a few years, but only recently in Oracle.
I have no experience in looking through the following output and being able to tell where I can improve performance,
so this will be a learning experience for me. Thanks in advance for your help - I appreciate it.
Some additional information - my view is based on tables over which I have no control - it is a third-party application
which I do reporting from. I do have the freedom to create indexes on columns within the tables if necessary.
The statement is simply
SELECT * FROM LLU_V_PRODUCTION_DETAIL_03
which is the name of my view.
here's all the information I've been able to retrieve by following Randolf's instructions:

CarlHi Rob,
Thank you for replying. Here is the view definition . . . it looks pretty convoluted, I know.
I am reporting from a database which I have no control over other than to add indexes where needed.
For reporting purposes, I am needing to create the dataset from a number of different tables; hence all the UNION clauses.

Table USERS has 1,725 rows
Table PRODUCER (aliased as P) has 1,396 rows
Table TRX has 1,443,764 rows.
Any additional information you need I will be glad to provide.
Thanks a bunch; it may not be too late to teach an old dog new tricks.
And thank you all for the kind words about the posting; about the only thing I can do well is follow directions.

Lightroom 4 collections deleted - photo dupes remain
Hi chaps - I have been messing around with the web module and have created several 'collections' to test out several ideas, LR has created duplicates for all of the separate collections, I have now got to the stage where I have decided what to do so want to delete all of the duplications in "All Photographs" but I thought if I deleted the 'collection' the associated duplicates would be removed but they are still there, I would prefer not to have to go through them all manually .... any advice please ?
Regards RogerThanks Jon ... here's a link to a screen grab:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12879319/Screen%20Shot%202013-08-26%20at%2013.23.09.jp g
As you can see the first image is associated with 'Chistchurch' the second 'Christchurch View' the third and fourth have had the'r 'collections' deleted though these dupes remain ?
Or am I being stupid.

Deletion of Query View in Web Report
Hi,
I need to provide the functionality to Delete the Query View in the Web Reports.
Please suggest how this can be done.
I am new to web reporting and any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,
RajKumar.Hi,
We have built a template that is extension of standard template 0ADHOC_TABLE provided by SAP. In our template we have added OPEN view and SAVE view APIs mentioned in SAP documentation to provide the features to open a query view and to save a query view. Now we need to provide a feature to delete a query view functionality to users as there were many old saved views that are no longer relevant and needs to be deleted.
Unfortunately the open view screen that opens does not provide feature to delete the query view.
Request your help on this, how did you provide this feature to the users. what did we miss?
For more clarification, I would speak to you please provide me your contact number.
Thanks and Regards,
Satya Raj Kumar. -
Error when trying to delete a query from production
Hi Experts,
When i tried to delete a query from <b>production system</b> using RSZDELETE, I am getting an error message like " Query object 42BYOKUXDNZBZKMC2VHR5Z19H is blocked. Deletion has been cancelled."
i went to E071 table using SE16,and found out the transports which contains this particular object. This transports have returned error code 8.
Can anyone help me on deleting this object entry from these requests?
<b>How will I delete this particular object entry from these transport requests?</b>
Thanks alot
ShobinHi Venkat,
Thanks alot for your quick reply.
I tried that also. But even those transports are not successful.
I would like to know <b>what is the standard procedure to delete objects from a transport request in production</b>.
Already, I unlocked the transport request to Modifiable status.
Thanks alot

Dear Experts,
I have a query in dev system which needs to be deleted and replaced by another query with the previous technical name. It's not allowing me to delete the query.
I tried RSZDELETE and as well as in query designer __ delete.
When i am doing it RSZDELETE it says query object blocked. deletion has to be cancelled.
How can i delete this query? Please help me as a matter of urgency
Many Thanks,
RiyaOpen any other query, other than which you want to delete
Then again click on the open button, then search for the query which you want to delete.
Once you find the query highlight it and click on the thirdlast button which is the delete option.
It will give a warning that complete query will be deleted. Press yes and your query will get deleted -
