Want to paint over unwanted object using background colors

I have this picture of a nice animated scenery, but there is this huge white square on one side of the image. The square is covering some trees, grass, and part of the river. What is the best way to get rid of the square? Is there some way to take parts of the image and paint it over this square?

I am now working with PEv.8. If you have this version, the recompose tool is excellent for this. Perhaps this tool is available in an earlier version as well.
If you don't have the tool, you may want to crop away the white square. Painting over it will do just that.

Hover over image will change background color and size since IE8

Hello,
I have a problem that only occurs in IE8 without compability view.
I have in CSS set all textlinks to change background color on hover.
Now my sliced imageslinks also change background color and for a larger background area than the actual image.
It filles out the area outside the sliced image.
This hasnt happened before in any other versions of IE and it looks fine in Firefox.
Please can some one help me !
I have been searching net for hours.
I tried to change the background color when hovering imagelinks. Maybe I did something wrong but it didnt help.

Help, can I declare an object using a variable name

I need to make a bunch of objects using a for loop, so I was wanting to name the object one of the variables that I read. But I basically want to know if I can do this.

I want to create a Software object using the objName inputted to it. The software object holds three fields as you can see. The name, num in stock, and price. However it won't let me do this, because it says objName is a duplicate variable. Help would be appreciated

Can anyone tell me how can I list down various objects used in a program.

Preflight objects uses no CMY, but only K?

In Acrobat there are a lot of really great preflights, but I haven’t found a bulletproof check to analyse if there are objects on the CMY-seperations. This would be a timesaver for checking pages which are going to be printed in black only.
The preflight ‘Object uses spot color(s) or Black only (no CMY)’ doesn’t work for CMYK objects with with 0% CMY in it (for example: 0.0/0.0/0.0/1.0). The default black swatch in InDesign is also a CMYK-object :-( I have a sample pdf here, with some characters in rich black and the rest in single black only.
Is there any other preflight in Acrobat that I can use? I’ve tried most of them, but none of them seemed to work.

You don't say what version of Acrobat it is you have doubts about. I would say that for the question you are raising, version 8 of Professional is very reliable. but since you are placing these ads in InDesign (you don't mention what version of that either), you can use ID's preflight, and also check the separations panel to see if there is any RGB on that page.
As for registration color, it will print on ALL plates, not just CMYK. The problem with having anything in that color besides register and crop marks is that the ink density will be 100% for each of the colors printed, so 400% for a CMYK job. That needs attention.

Setting JScrollPane background color.

Does anybody know how to set what color appears in the background of a JScrollPane when the Component in the pane is smaller than the pane itself?
In particular, I have a JTable in a JScrollPane, and when the pane is bigger than the table, the gray default background of the viewport looks weird behind the white background of the table.
MyScrollPane.setBackground() doesn't do it, neither does MyScrollPane.getViewport().setBackground().

it's a cut and paste from the JScrollpane source....
A common operation to want to do is to set the background color that will be used if the main viewport view is smaller than the viewport, or is not opaque. This can be accomplished by setting the background color
of the viewport, via scrollPane.getViewport().setBackground().The reason for setting the color of the viewport and not the scrollpane is that by default JViewport is opaque which, among other things, means it will completely fill in its background using its background color. Therefore when <code>JScrollPane</code> draws its background the viewport will usually draw over it.

Problem in Setting Background Color for JButton

I am using Background color for JButton (color is selected from the customized JColorChooser created by us) where it contains the option of transparency. If we choose light color, then the background is set to JButton, but when we mouse-over the JButton, other components inside the container (JPanel) is getting displayed inside the button.

Background color change of a column in Advance table

We have requirement to change the background color of column in advance table based on some condition. We tried putting code to change background color in Custom.xss using background-color property and setting newly created css dynamically based on condition but it seems it only changes the background color of text not the complete cell. We want to change the color of complete cell in an advance table.
Please let me know if there is any other way I can achieve this requirement. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Report text background color

I have added report text to my post-expression to display voltage test results. I want to be able to change the background color of the report text frame so that only failures stand out in the report. It currently defaults to magenta. Here is an example of the expression I currently am using.

Changing the background color of the row of the selected cell in table view

How can I change the background color of the table row when user clicks on table cell in table view?

You could apply the following css style (by defining a custom stylsheet with the following lines and loading it into your app).
The last color sets the background color of the selected row while the table-view has focus (in this case to orange).

-fx-background-color: -fx-focus-color, -fx-cell-focus-inner-border, orange;
}There are quite a lot of subtleties in the css styling for the tableview (e.g. different colors for the selected row when the control has focus vs when it doesn't or when the user hovers over a selected row in an unfocussed tableview), which you may want to cater for when chaning the background color of the selected row in a table view. There is also alternate styling for when the tableview is in row selection vs cell selection mode. So you may want to look at customizing further based on the css styles in caspian.css in sdk/rt/lib/jfxrt.jar if you can understand the complex css there.

Background-color:transparent !important; is not working in IE

In my sharepoint site i have used "background-color:transparent !important;" css. It is not working in IE but in Mozilla is working fine.
And I am using IE 11. Please let me know is there any thing wrong in the syntax. If that is the case please provide me correct solution for that.

!important;" was working fine before installing sharepoint 2010 service pack 2. After installation we got this issue. And if i change "transparent"
with any color, it is applying that color. Only "transparent"
