Want to restrict buttons in PV8i screen in Training & Event Management

Dear All,
My requirement is to restrict available buttons in PV8I screen except the 'Appraisal' function. The standard buttons given in PV8I screen are like Rebbok event, cancel etc. My client requires that an user can only use this screen to maintain the business event appraisal data. User should not have the authorization for rebook event, cancel or request for booking. So how these buttons can be removed / hide or deactivated, so that the user will not be able to use thesr buttons. Please help.

Using configuration you can only remove SAP launchpad buttons and toolbars.

If you wish to remove or hide some Tcode level buttons that this will be done only using some application/Tcode specific configuration/modification.

Training & Event Management: Restrict Change to Business Event

Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to restrict change to Business Event (eg. changes to the Event Schedule) based on certain business criteria? My criteria cannot restrict by authorization.
For eg. let say if something happens (based on business scenario), then my program will restrict the users to change details in Business Event, but they can still book Personnels to the event- so that means I can't use the LOCK/UNLOCK function.

Oh! Sorry I did not noticed your initial post date, any how at least we can share knowledge.
Regarding your concern about the FM, we have created function module ZHR_TRAINING_AUTH and table ZHR_TRAINING_AUTH to restrict authorization related to respective department secretaries and business event group.
Then in Customization to create and configure the profile: go to Human Resources > Personal Management > Personal Development > Settings > Current Settings > Define Authorization Profile
Then later on you can Assign this newly created profile to the users, then you are able to restrict.

To have a push buttons you need to first assign a pf-status .
here a sample code for a push button and its handling :
set pf-status 'SELECT' .
at user-command .
describe table t_lpr lines w_lines .

    when 'SELECTALL' .
      set pf-status 'SELECT' excluding 'SELECTALL' immediately.
      do w_lines times .
        read line w_line field value w_check . " INTO W_CHECK .

          add 1 to w_line .
        endif .                        " IF W_CHECK = ' '

Thus when you say pf-status say 'select' , Double click on that and you find a screen eher you can select icons and assign a function code to it!

I have this shortcut home button on my screen that you can move all over the screen that I want it gone.

this button is a little white circle in a black square that you can move all over you screen on your phone if you tap it it gives you home, favorites, voice control, device, a shortbut button that is suppose to save your buttons on your phone by you using this button on the screen. I hate it. Anyone know how to get rid of it??

Simple Way to Do this:
1) Create the relevant Button on the screen.Assign Group name in the screen Properties.
2) In PBO you can write codes to hide the button according to your requirements.
Ex:
PBO.
LOOP AT SCREEN.
IF SCREEN-GROUP1 = 'AA'. " Group assigned at Property level
Screen-Active = 0.
ENDIF.
MODIFY SCREEN.
ENDLOOP.

If the screen colours look like they've turned negative then try triple-clicking the home button - or go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn White on Black 'off' (and check/change what Triple-Click Home on the same Restrictions screen is set to).

My Client wants to restrict appearing used PO Line items in MIRO

My client wants to restrict appearing blank line items agaisnt already used Purchase Order Items (Full Qty GR / IR happened, GR Based IV) in MIRO so that user can not book another invoice against the same PO with diffrent ref. no. and in date.
Is there any way (User Exit / Screen Variant) we can make it?

Even if I set Final Invoice Indicator in MIRO and booked invoice against the PO systems is showing blank line items (Amt & Qty are blank) in MIRO agaisnt the PO.
Can you please run the scenario and tell me is there any way that we can restrict system showing blank line items against already processed PO items in MIRO. I have tried booking invoice agaisnt individual del note but blank line items are there.

For Your Requriment yo can go to tcode se51 & then give ur program name & give screen number as 1000 because 1000 is default screen for all the programs and in se51 Press Layout button & then you can make changes to the Selection screen according to your requriment

I have a customer request to provide documentation for each transaction on its selection screen. So they want to have a button on selection screen which should download PDF file stored on SAP application server. Is this possible (they said it is) and where can I found some instructions how to implement this.
