Want to stream screencast in flash

Me and my brother want to create a live screencast display
for our guild website based on the game Counterstrike. Basically,
we want to transfer all video and audio that we experience in the
game, and transmit it live to our guild members so that the players
can be coached online. Also, we would like not just the game, but
the desktop to be displayed in case we need to help one of the
guild members troubleshoot mods for the game. Anyone know how I
could start going about that project? I know there is already
software for this, but this is something that me and my brother
wanted to do for our website (it hasn't quite been finished, so I
can't provide a link).

Adding streaming video to flash 8

I have two videos, one is a Windows Media Video and the other

Check the FLASH help files. I think you can only stream
FLV.

Have to restart iTunes EVERY time I want to stream to Apple TV!

I have the 2012 Apple TV and while Netflix, Youtube, etc. normally work well, I have to restart iTunes EVERY time I want to stream to Apple TV! My iMac is always on and the newest version of iTunes is always running. It doesn't seem to matter if the iMac is in sleep mode or not, and I have a very strong wifi signal coming from my Airport Express. Every time - not sometimes - I want to access music, TV shows or movies in iTunes on Apple TV, it says my library is loading, or cannot connect. Every time. What can I do?

WC, When I use the term Home Sharing it is perhaps a little oversimplified, it is quiet impractical and often overkill to continually restate the complete sequence of events that led me to 'a fix', however, I did not suddenly one day find a problem, switch to wi-fi and find all was well. There was significant investigation done on my part to try to find a solution. if by me saying I moved to wifi and it worked, others can move to wifi and have a fix, great. I am not trying to reinvent the wheel here, others much cleverer than me are looking at that...
I had a functioning setup over wired until approx 2 months ago with an ATV2 connecting to Imac library, I was at the time occasionally running some software that restarted itunes once finished which may have masked the problem if it was there, unlikely though. I purchased an ATV3 with a new TV, this upon installation required an ios update much the same time as the itunes update.
I noticed the white light on the atv3 flashing when it was asleep, this was not something i had seen on the atv2, Investigation suggested this was normal behaviour, I remain unconvinced of this.
from that point on 'Home Sharing' did not work until a restart of itunes, it would then work all night (6+ hours)
My mac was set to sleep over night, I tried turning that off-no difference, turned ip6 off-no difference, once it hangs other devices on the network are unable to see the itunes lib, iphone, ipad,MBP etc
Once the thing hangs, Netstat shows a massive quantity of open ports 100/150+ to each on/sleeping atv, a restart of itunes clears this lot. with wired, these connections start to build again, with wireless not so much.
looking back on here shows folks have had this problem in various guises since early 2011, apple by their own admission state the last update 'fixes some issues with Home Sharing', it seems it introduced some for me...
I am quite sure some peoples problems are down to underlying network problems however this is supposed to be 'Home Sharing' it shouldnt need a degree in computer science to configure, it should just work.
I am not about to pull my network apart to troubleshoot any further, between mac & atv's there are 2 x Giga/switches(netgear) and an Airport Extreme(bridged), the atv cable was plugged into the A.Ex no dice and now connects w/less to the same box and works fine...

Sorry, I don't think this is possible. There are several conversion apps Flash to Silverlight, but not the other way around.

If this is an iPad 1, it won't mirror, but it will still output video from the 30 Pin dock connector.
If your new TV has a conventional VGA in and stereo inputs you can try this connector.

I used to stream video from both Netflix and YouTube and from my Mac using iTunes sharing through my iPad then with this connector plug into my iPad and TV.
It won't be high resolution, but it will get you picture from iPad to TV.

Hi all I want to store podcast on Mac and want to watch it on iPad. but don't want to store them on iPad.
I just want to stream the stored podcast on Mac to iPad, that way I want to save space on my small 16gb iPad. If I download them on iPad it takes lots of space.
I have already subscribed to Podcast on iTunes and they automatically shows up in Podcast app of iPad, but the problem is it also starts downloading there on iPad too. I want to stop that.. I just want them to get downloaded on Mac only, and want to stream them via wifi to my iPad.

Hi again. You can re-format any disk by going to /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility and launching it. Choose the disk you want to re-format and click on the erase tab...

I turned on sharing in iTunes now my Apple TV shows up in iTunes device section and when I click on it iTunes shows me a streaming sync page as if my Apple TV were a gen 2 unit. ITunes wants to stream everything to my Apple TV. I no longer can manually sync my iTunes with my Apple TV. In the Apple TV menu when I select computers Apple TV shows me my old hard drive with a lock next to it, when I click on it I get a warning that if I continue I will erase the entire Apple TV. Do I need to erase the AppleTV and start from an emty Apple TV HD?

you have to go to your atv's settings and remove the sync setup with the in the atvs eyes "old" computer
before you can add the "new" computer as a sync computer
an atv can only be set to sync with 1 and it don't know the "old" computer is not just off

New versions of Flash have a panel installed on your system for control of settings.
In Windows XP, Windows Start > Settings > Control Panel > Flash Player, click on each tab and change the "Ask..." setting. Most likely your prompts are coming from the "Storage" tab. Using any of the "Block..." settings may make Flash inoperative on some sites.

I want to stream to multiple ATV's at remote locations via internet..?

I have 14 locations that i would like to stream a slide show and videos to. I would want to stream to all of the locations from one central location.....is this possible? I figure that this is a networking issue more than a device issue, but I really am not savvy enough to know how it's done. If anyone has any ideas I would great appreciate them. Sorry if this is posted somewhere else, I was not able to find anything that addressed this.

Using the link I provided you can use Home Sharing over the internet between computers. The application has to be installed on both ends and you cannot install to the TV2. In order for it to work you would need the source computer with App > remote computer with App > TV2 .
The number of ATVs you are wanting to use would be an issue. Each TV2 would need its own computer running the APP and iTunes. Each instance of iTunes and each TV2 would have to be activated on the same account. Accounts are limited to 5 activated computers. I'm not sure but I think the TV2 counts as an activated device and if it does you are looking at 3 activations for one over the internet stream ... source > remote computer > TV2 = 3 of your 5 activations. That only leaves room for one more over the internet stream.... remote computer > TV2 = 2 activations.
So in short you would be able to stream to 4 TV2 over the internet at most if each TV2 does not count as an activation and only 2 if they do.
This is all assuming it worked at all

Hi everyone, I'm Lucas. I Have learnt how to deliver a single live video stream to both Flash and iOS from this video
But after that I got a problem with the ".f4m" file and ".m3u8" file (I think) like this video below here. I don't know what happen with the server because my camera is still working perfectly.
I now using Flash Media Server 4.5

Try this :
1: stop any stream.
2: go to root_install\applications\livepkgr\events\_definst_\liveevent and delete any .stream file that is in there
3: Go to root_install\applications\livepkgr\streams\_definst_ any livestream folder that is in there for example if you streamed with name livestream12 there should be a folder with the name livestream12, delete it.
4: Then try streaming a single bitrate stream by adding to the FMLE the following parameters
FMS Url : rtmp://localhost/livepkgr
Stream: livestream?adbe-live-event=liveevent
5: go to sample player and add this url to the field : http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m
*If you have a public IP do the following :
1: go to http://www.osmf.org/configurator/fmp/#
and add this url : http://public_ip/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m (replace localhost with your public IP)
and from the advanced tab say that it is live.
Give it a try!

To make an exact "clone" of the i7 hard drive on the MBP hard drive you could:
use Target mode to mount the MBP on the i7 (as if it were an external drive) OS X Mavericks: Transfer files between two computers using target disk mode
use CarbonCopyCloner to make a clone of the i7 on the MBP drive. Mac Backup Software - Carbon Copy Cloner
It would be easier, however, to just set up file sharing between the two computers, and then they would just have access to each other's files. OS X Mavericks: Share your files
An even better option is to use some cloud based option for sharing the files, like iCloud Apple - iCloud - Your content. On all your devices. or Dropbox. Dropbox Then you could open a file on either Mac, and work on it, and it would sync with the other Mac automatically. You could make changes on a file on one Mac, and then when you open the file on the other Mac the changes would be there. And you could also share files easily with others.
