Warning message on excess delivery

hi all
from which custumization process we  can decide whether the system give a warning message or to
stop the process as and when the excess qty is being confirmed.
regards

Hi,
System will not stop you if the Confirmed Quantity is more than the Qrder Quantity.
It means: if the Order Quantity is 5PC, if you confirm the First Operation with 500PC, system will not stop you.
With a warning messag you can still proceed further and post the Confirmamation for 500PC.
With OPK4, if you do the Auto GR, then only the W/E will come in to picture.
Otherwise as said earlier it will proceed further..
The Solution would be to change the Warning Messag to Error Message for the Message No. RU117
You can do it with the Transaction: OPJB: Change the Message Type for RU117 from W to E.
This is the Only solution possible..
Hope this helps..

Siva

  • To set a warning message in Sales Order for Shipping condition

Deliveries over the weekend - if Shipping condition is the next business day, then we potentially fail.
We need the system to warn/advise next business day to be selected since it is not going to get dispatched on that day. so whenever the delivery date is getting in any saturday & sunday as per the shipping condition, then system should give a warning message stating that Delivery is due on weekend.
Please guide how we can implement this.

    Dear Amit,
As i understood from your requirement is that you do not want to deliver on say saturday and sunday ( week end ) and how to control this?
Go to SPRO -- Enterprise Structure -- Definition --  Logistics Execution -- Define, copy, delete, check shipping point -- double click on 'Define shipping point  ' -- select your shipping point -- click on details -- change your factory calender as '01'.
Please revert , if not solved.

  • Warning message in MIGO - Diference on Qty of entry/Qty in delivery note

    Hello,
I want to set a warning (or even error) message when, in MIGO transaction, the quantity in the delivery note is higher than the quantity in unit of entry set up (both in the quantity screen).
A message regarding the difference between the quantity in unit of entry and the quantity order is standard and is already set.
    How can I proceed?
    Thank you,
    Gonçalo.

    Hi,
Thanks for the help, but I still can't manage to set the warning message. In fact I tried to set it on OMRM and in spro-mat management-purchasing-environment data-define messages. The only message I get in MIGO is M7021 (difference between the quantity order and the quantity in unit of entry (quantity details)... but I also want a message to occur in case of a difference in quantity of delivery note and qty in unit of entry.
I set as much messages as possible, do you know what's the message regarding this warning on table V_160M_
    Thanks again,
    Goncalo.

  • Requested Delivery Date (Warning Message Box)

    Hi Guru's
We are currently doing some testing in Sales Order creation and suddenly a dialogue box is appearing when we change the <b>Requested Delivery Date</b> and <b>First Date</b> fields to the current date.
    <b>The Message Reads</b> :
Planned delivery dates exist for the customer.
The requested delivery date is not a planned date.
    Select a requested delivery date.
    11.06.2007         Current Requested Delivery Date
    12.06.2007         Next Planned Delivery Date
Please can you advise how it would be possible to switch this message off.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
    Thks

    Hi Nikhil
Thnak you very much for your reply .
You are correct it is the delivery dates set on Master Data under the Additional DSD Data button that influences this message.
Do you perhaps know how to turn this warning message of.
    Thanks

  • Warning message in VT01 or 02n Shipment completion

II am trying to create a warning message when Pressing the Shipment completion button in VT01 or 02n Transaction.
Standard Activity profile does not have any area to enter a custom Formula or Routine that will help the developer to enter the logic. Also I donu2019t want to use output type to trigger work flow that will call the required program - it will be too data heavy.
Case: We use a Packaging Unit that basically is used to determine the Total, tare and loaded weight (HU in Shipments). The delivery assigned to the Shipment has its item QTY which should be within the Loaded weight of the handling unit. Hence need some sort of pop up or warning message that will inform on Shipment completion u2013 any help or ideas

Best option here is to use user exit in shipment to create pop up.
    Hope it helps.

  • Convert Error message to warning message

    Hi Experts ,
At the time of creating RFx we are getting an Error message "Delivery date is before the submission deadline 19.07.2011; check item 0001"
Now I want to change the Message type from Error to Warning ..
How can i convert the message type as it i s a standard one .
    Thanks ,
    Sandeep .

    Dear Ricardo Cavedini,
I feel that this message cannot be switched to warning, since it is against the RFX process to publish it with an earlier delivery date.
I also 100% agree with you that, it should be a error message and it may not be changed to a warning message...
However I have a similar issue with some other message, could you please visit How to remove warning message "you are offerring itemxxxx for free"? and put your valuable answer?

Delivery item category for all the line items is same and status B is assigned to over delivery in item category. Is there any standard way of achieving this or do we need any modification, if yes then what user exit need to use.
I searched alot about this in last three days but found only one thread which is unanswered, please provide your valuable suggestions. If this problem is discussed already and solved please provide me the link to that thread as I could't find any.

  • Warning message instead of error message during PO creation in QM in procurement

    Hi,
I activated QM procurement for a material and put a control key with delivery release, certificate required and invoice block....Now for that material, vendor and plant combination created QM info record and put some release qty...Now after the release qty is reached then when I am making next Purchase Order system is throwing warning message instead of error message and allowing me to create PO...where I need to convert the warning message to error message...
    Thanks

    Hello Kumar,
    Never tested this ;
Anyways, Set Message control for lock as "Defects" for respective Control key.

  • Warning message during batch determination while doing GR for process order

    Hi Experts,
During delivery against process order for all SFGs and FGs, we are getting warning message u201CInvalid batch according to selection criteria in batch determinationu201D.
Following settings maintained for batch determination in process order.
Condition table for order/material type maintained
Access sequence maintained for order/material type
In strategy type above access sequence has been maintained. The common class and sort sequence created for all materials in the plant have also been assigned to this strategy type. In batch split changes allowed box has been checked and quantity proposal maintained as 1.
In search procedure control maintained for order/material type. Search procedure has been assigned to all process order types and check activated.
In spite of the above when GR for order is taking place , system is throwing warning message.
GI of components is being done through backflush and without any warning message.
Please advise how to ensure proper batch determination during GR against order.

Issue resolved by removing required indicators from characteristics which were not being valuated but were maintained in the class assigned to SFGs/FGs.

  • Invoice Receipt Warning Message Appear After Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6

    Hi Gurus,
We do upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6. And we do Invoice Verification base on Delivery (Vendor delivery number), in our business process there more than one Purchase Order has same Vendor Delivery Number while GR executed. But only one Purchase order related to Invoice verification, others PO are Free PO (no need Invoice Verification).
    The problem is:
In SAP 4.6C, while execute Invoice base on Delivery (Vendor delivery), system automatic select only PO with Delivery (vendor) which related/allow invoice receipt.
In SAP ECC6, while execute Invoice base on Delivery (vendor delivery), all PO selected. So than there are warning messages appear (warning pop screen) for those PO not allow invoice Receipt (message M8035: PO item XXXXX does not allow invoice receipt), and at the end PO which allow Invoice receipt then appear for further Invoice Receipt process.
At overall, the final result SAP 4.6C and SAP ECC6 is same (only PO which allowed Invoice Receipt will processed further).
    The Question are:
    1. Why in ECC6 appear warning message, while in 4.6C no warning message ? Is there config to ignoring the warning message. I've try to maintain system message for M8035 (t-code: OMRM) to ignoring the pop screen, but can not created.
    2. How do we make warning message dissapear (no need warning message), because if the PO's has hundred items so user need to click enter hundred times.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Tri Wicaksono

    Hi,
could you please check whether the flag "GR-based IV" is set in the purchase orders?
If GR based-IV is ticked, then this pop-up cannot be suppressed.
If you would like to post the invoice first then GR-based IV should not be checked, otherwise this pop-up will always appear.  I am afraid that this behaviour is standard.
Please, be aware that this feature is only available if you set  in the Purchase Order item the 'GR-based IV' indicator:
If the GR-IV flag is not set in the PO, then the system does not
differentiate individual goods receipts. Please see the <f1> help
for the field "GR-IV" in the PO item detail. Since the individual
receipts are not differentiated, an invoice is not tied per se to
an individual receipt and a goods receipt can be reversed despite
       an invoice receipt.
With the GR-IV flag set on in a PO, you can specify which goods
receipt is being invoiced in an IR and which goods receipt is being
reversed in a return. It is this correlation between goods receipts
and invoices that enables you to specify for GR-IV PO's whether an
item can be returned despite an invoice.
Please refer to the note :457511 Question 10.
    Best regards
    Erika

  • Category for message 06356: No delivery costs can be posted in case of mult

    Hi experts!
I know why the system issues message "06356: No delivery costs can be posted in case of multiple account assignment", but I need to set this message as an ERROR because it is a WARNING by default.
I tried it via SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Environment Data -> Define Attributes of System Messages, but it doesn't works. Although I set the message as an ERROR I tested and it is a WARNING message.
I tried via SM30 with no positive results.
    Do you have any suggestion?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
Message 06356 is coded in standard as warning
and cannot be changed through customising
Message 06 356 is hardcoded as "Warning"
Review of the Abap code reveals the message is hardcoded, see:
    Include: MM06EF0W_WE_RE_KENNZEICHEN
    :  mmpur_message 'I' '06' '356' '' '' '' ''.
If you wish to change this message to an error you will have to modify the code.
It is not possible in the standard to set this message as an error
Delivery costs are not posted for documents with multiple account
    assignment in Release 46C.
This was allowed in releases 3.0, but this functionality was deactivated
in Release 4.0A for design reasons. For more information on this issue,
    please, see note 77789.
In the note it is stated that:
"Even if you do not delete the delivery costs, the system does not
process them during the goods receipt, the invoice receipt and in the
       purchase order commitments."
    Kind regards,
    Lorraine

  • Quota warning message not working

I have Quota warning messages turned on to be sent daily to users using over 90% of their limit.
To test it I've had an account filled to 95% for a few days and no message yet.
Anyone else having problems with this? Anyone have any suggestions what might be wrong?

    Hi Edm Dude
9 days later and no one uses the Quota Warning
feature? I don't believe this. I'm looking for
someone who has it working so I can compare
    settings.
You’ve not had a great response have you? This is a pity. I don’t have the Quota Warning enabled and I have never been asked to enable it at various sites where I have deployed Apple Mail Server. I have never been asked to use Virtual Domains either although I can’t see why this would make a difference.
Perhaps no one really does use this feature or has a need for it. It may be that it has been tried by others and they have had the same experience as you?
The user has a limit of 20MB. The quota warning is
set to 90%, and to notify ry 1 days. These have been
    configured only via WGM
Don’t quite understand the statment above made from one your earlier posts. Mail Quota limits are defined in WGM. Server Admin is required for notification of Quota excess. Perhaps you already know this and the above statement is a typo.
I know you have configured the user’s account in WGM for POP and IMAP, but is the user’s mail application account configured for POP or IMAP on the client computer?

  • Mail not delivered for 4 hours warning message

I've recently started getting .mac mail bounced back to me from MAIL DELIVERY SUBSYSTEM saying that the message couldn't be delivered for the past 4 hours and would continue trying for 4 days. They never seem to go through.
This only happens with mail to my parents. I can send them mail from a different ISP account, and my husband can send them mail from his .mac account. I have not changed my preferences and neither have they. I would suspect their ISP, except that my husband's .mac mail goes through.
Any idea what the problem might be? Here's the relevant information from the warning message:
    <parents' address>...Deferred:Invalid argument
Warnng: message still undelivered after 4 hours
Will keep trying until message is 4 days old
    Reporting-MTA: dns; smtpout.mac.com

.Mac outages, problems accessing email (#2): possible fixes
Users are continuing to report (in droves) problems accessing .Mac services -- particularly mail -- over the past few days.
Most reports indicate problems accessing .Mac mail from within various clients, including Mail.app. As such, the best stop-gap solution is to simply use the .Mac webmail interface in most cases
However, some users have also reported problems receiving messages through the webmail interface.
    MacFixIt reader Michael Novelli writes:
"My .mac mail account stopped working yesterday. I can access it online."
    Another reader adds:
"Same issue here with .Mac email. If I look at the Activity Viewer I can see my other email accounts connect and finish but .Mac just hangs with the blue and white candy cane progress bar. .Mac has become so unreliable that I cannot use it as my main account and have chosen another email service."
    MacFixIt reader Jim writes:
"I am also encountering problems accessing .Mac mail with Eudora. Mail is apparently going out using .Mac and Eudora, but the problem is receiving mail."
Tom James reports issues with other areas of .Mac service:
"In addition to the problems accessing .mail via Mail, I had a problem today updating my .mac website. The server consistently refused to make changes to the welcome page even though iWeb organiser reported that the site as amended had been published. Deletion of the site in iWeb and creation of a second site initially did not work either but it n ow appears to have been updated. Perhaps there were delays in implementing changes due to the creaky nature of .Mac servers."
    Possible fixes
Clear caches We've received unconfirmed reports that running the maintenance routines offered by AppleJack can resolve some .Mac connectivity issues -- potentially indicating cache corruption as a cause of problems. Cache cleaning can also be accomplished with tools like Cocktail or Tiger Cache Cleaner.
Just restart In other cases, a simple restart can have a beneficial effect. MacFixIt reader Tracey writes:
"I also experienced the .Mac mail connection problem yesterday utilizing Mail.app Version 2.1.1 (752.3). In my case, after a half an hour of being unable to connect, it finally dawned on me to go back to the basics of troubleshooting. After a reboot, and a subsequent relaunch of Mail.app, my .Mac mail became immediately responsive, and has been working without a glitch ever since (24 hours). It was a pretty simple fix in my case (or a serendipitous coincidence of timing)."

  • MBST warning message

    Hi SAP Gurus,
While canceling a mat doc through MBST, the user is getting a warning message saying that,
Document flow for delivery cannot be updated. when i clicked on the warning message on the status bar it says as follows:
    Diagnosis
Purchase order 4500011715 is assigned to a delivery. The current transaction cannot update the document flow for this delivery, because the system does not recognize the delivery number.
    System Response
When you post this goods movement, the document flow is not updated in the delivery. This can lead to problems later on when you process the delivery.
    Procedure
You can post the goods movement using transactions MB0A or MIGO (Goods receipt for a delivery) after you enter the delivery number.
If you are currently posting a cancellation, a return delivery, or a subsequent delivery for the material document, it is not possible to enter the delivery number.
    thanks

Well, i think the GR was posted w.r.t the outbound document which was generated, you can verify the same in MB51, as to which document it was referenced.
Also note, i have no access to your system or can see any screenshots, so i can just guide you based on the inputs. Anyways by posting MBST, the system will just cancel the initial document, i.e. reverse the initial document. So proceed to post the same & then cancel with VL09.
    Good luck
