Category for message 06356: No delivery costs can be posted in case of mult

Hi experts!
I know why the system issues message "06356: No delivery costs can be posted in case of multiple account assignment", but I need to set this message as an ERROR because it is a WARNING by default.
I tried it via SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Environment Data -> Define Attributes of System Messages, but it doesn't works. Although I set the message as an ERROR I tested and it is a WARNING message.
I tried via SM30 with no positive results.
Do you have any suggestion?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Message 06356 is coded in standard as warning
and cannot be changed through customising
Message 06 356 is hardcoded as "Warning"
Review of the Abap code reveals the message is hardcoded, see:
Include: MM06EF0W_WE_RE_KENNZEICHEN
:  mmpur_message 'I' '06' '356' '' '' '' ''.
If you wish to change this message to an error you will have to modify the code.
It is not possible in the standard to set this message as an error
Delivery costs are not posted for documents with multiple account
assignment in Release 46C.
This was allowed in releases 3.0, but this functionality was deactivated
in Release 4.0A for design reasons. For more information on this issue,
please, see note 77789.
In the note it is stated that:
"Even if you do not delete the delivery costs, the system does not
process them during the goods receipt, the invoice receipt and in the
   purchase order commitments."

  • Delivery Cost to be posted in full during the first GR itself

    Hi
I have a requirement where in i need to create a new condition type "Delivery Cost" in the purchasing pricing procedure. This should post the fixed delivery cost as given in the PO completely during the first GR itself, irrespective of the partial GR's done.
Will try to explain it with an example -
Say a PO is created for 100 qtys and this has a delivery cost of 100 GBP.
I do a GR for 55 qty, here the delivery cost should be posted as 100GBP only not 55GBP.
Can this be handled in the standard Pricing procedure? if yes what setting needs to be done.
If this cannot be handled in the standard pricing procedure how to achieve this,
    Please advise.
    Thanks
    Regards

    hi,
this is acheived by std configuration .
use the freight condition FRB1 (fixed amount) with A/C key  ( FRE ) and Acuural  ( FR1 ) in pricing .
if u use it as item condition , for each GR , for that item irrespective qty , it will charge full freight amount.
if u use it as header condition , for each GR , for that PO , freight amount will be charged irrespective of qty & no of items.

  • Condition category B,F and planned delivery cost indicator in MIRO

    hi,
i would like to clarify the linking between condtion category and planned delivery cost indicator in MIRO.
    1) if in PO, i have condition type where category is B(delivery cost) or F(freight), then during GR, system will credit freight/customs clearing account. subsequently in MIRO, i have to choose planned delivery cost indicator when create invoice, correct?
    2) if my PO has no condition type where category is B or F, i do not have to choose planned delivery cost indicator during MIRO as no freight/customs clearing account to be set off. correct?
    thanks

    Hi Eliana,
I think you are on right track.

  • How do I get my Imessages to come to my Mac?  There is no icon for messages at all that I can see

I have no idea where or how to alter all the icons that are on my Mac - there are some I would like to remove, but I would also like to add the ability for my Imessages to come to my Mac so I don't have to hunt down my phone when I am sitting on my Mac and a message comes in.  Need all the help I can get

So on your Mac there should be an app called "Messages" that handles iMessages for your Apple/iCloud account. Open this app to sign into your account and setup iMessaging on your Mac.
If you DO NOT see this app, it may not be supported by your current operating system. To have the ability to run iMessages on your computer, you need to be using Mac OSX Lion or later.
Prior operating systems do not have this capability.

  • Item Category for returns order and delivery

    Hi,
We are using BOM. As we know basing on the Item cat group ERLA, LUMF there are 4 different item categories TAQ,TAE,TAP,TAN respectively for main item and sub items. Now my business wants to do return process for a BOM item which has been already delivered and invoiced.
Please could any body tell me what would be the item cat for BOM item in return process?
Is there any SAP standard item cat available for this?
Can we configure an Item cat for the same?
Your quick answer would deffinately appreciated.
    Regards,
    Revan.

    Hi Revan,
In standard procedure there is no item Category assigned for the returns of ERLA or LUMF material. You may have to define new Item category similar to REN but with the structurescope defined as 'A' or 'B' as per the requirement.

  • Delivery cost in PO

    Hi,
I have create the PO account assigned to cost centre K and it has multiple account assignment.
The distribution is on the basis of quantity and in case of partial invoice it is to be distributed proportionally.
The pricing condition in PO are basic price and freight condition. When I am saving PO the sytem is giving following warning message:
No delivery costs can be posted in case of multiple account assignment
    Message no. 06356.
I saved the PO and did GR.As it is multiple account assignment so GR will be non valuated hence no accounting document is generated.
When I am doing MIRO, I selected option goods/service+planned delivery cost.
System is not showing the delivery cost. My basic price was 100 and freight cost was 10 say as an example. In MIRO it is showing only 100 not the freight cost 10 though I have selected the goods/service+planned delivery cost.
When I am simulating the system is showing following warning message:
No delivery costs selected for invoice document
    Message no. M8599
    Diagnosis
No delivery costs were selected for the invoice document.
    Procedure
If delivery costs are contained in the invoice, check that the allocation criteria and invoice type are correct.
Just to check further , in MIRO I selected only the planned delivery cost , then system is giving the following error message:
No delivery costs exist for purchase order 4500000596 00000
    Message no. M8014
    Diagnosis
You have chosen Delivery costs -> Planned -> By purchase order. This function allows you to process delivery costs which were planned in the puchase order. The purchase order which you are currently processing does not contain any planned delivery costs.
    Procedure
Check the purchase order number. If it is correct, you can only post the delivery costs as unplanned delivery costs.
Please help how in the case of multiple account assigned PO we can post the delivery cost in MIRO?

    Hello, Anju,
the systems does (well, in this case does not) exactly what is says: "No delivery costs can be posted in case of multiple account assignment".
So either you have to split the one items with multiple account assignment into more items with single account assignment, or you have to use unplanned delivery cost in invoice verification.
If you decide to use the unplanned cost, it can be helpful to activate the "Edit PO Supplement Text in Invoice Verification" function in customizing for LIV, so the buyer can write into defined text in PO "message" for invoicing clerk, that he/she agrees with certain amount of unplanned cost. I know, it's such lousy workaround...
    Kind Regards

  • Delivery costs to stock account for GR

    Dear All,
For the delivery cost for purchasing, I created new condition types for each and mapped them to transaction keys(all of them are mapped to FRE and FR1 keys).  While creating PO, related conditions are entered to item details and planned costs are entered for them.
The EIN and EKG keys are also activated for purchasing. When i do GR for related PO, the delivery costs are not posted also to stock account. Is there any additional customizing for this ? I need to post these additional costs to stock account (BSX key)
    Thanks,

SPRO --> MM --> Valuation and Account Assignment --> Account Determination --> Account Determination Without Wizard --> Purchase Account Management --> Calculation of Value for Purchase Account
In this screen, del. costs should be ticked for related valuation area and Company Code. For MAP delivery costs are added to stock account, for standard price delivery costs are posted to price variance account.

  • MIRO unplanned delivery cost -- to seperate a/c

    Hi ,,
This is regarding Unplanned delivery cost
In config we selected Unplanned delivery cost post to separate account
Business Scenario: There are 5 different unplanned costs and each must be directed to separate a/c . At the moment in legacy system they are choosing desired a/c in each case different case
As i understood in Standard SAP we can only direct unplanned delivery cost to one a/c only [OBYC --> UPF], Can above requirement can be achieved by any means?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi
    Thanks for the reply ..
In SPRO i choose posting unplanned delivery cost to option ''Different G/L line'
When i go to MIRO, in header 'Details' Tab, i can enter unplanned delivery cost but G/L field grayed, we cant enter desired a/c manually. more over This G/L a/c is GR/IR account
Where we can enter G/L account? to which unplanned delivery cost can be posted

  • Conditions type of category "Delivery Costs"(B) donu00B4t allow negative values

    Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to munipulate a condition type with category "B" Delivery costs in such a way that it allows a negative entry in the Purchase Order.
Estandard SAP does not allow it. Message: 06259 "Negative Delivery costs are not allowed".
If the above is not possible, can anyone tell me how a can manipulate a Discount (fixed amount) in such a way that it not only points at a particlar account (accruels indicator does this job) upon MIGO, but also apears as a line-item upon receiving the invoice (MIRO). As far as I know, only Planned delivery costs can do this job. But they do not allow negative values!
If anyone has encountered a similar task, please tell me how they solved it.
    Thanks,
    Aart

    Hello Guys,
    The scenario isas follows.
When one buys fuel, in Chile  one has to pay fuel especific Taxes.
Version especific config does not resolve this because we need the tax in amount (value) not in percentage.
In our system we resolved this by creating a material "Fuel especific Taxes" which points at a tax-account  with a special tax-indicator.
    So far so good.
Now the government implemented a second fuel tax - "Fuel tax variable" which we might resolve in the same way, but the problem is this tax might be negative(!).
We cannot create a material with a "negative value" in our Purchase Order and discount conditions have inmediate efect on the material costs in the PO.
The ideal would be incorporate a condition type in the PO which upon invoicing (MIRO) shows up with the tax account (and a possible negative value!
The model we have developed upto now is using the tabpage "GeneralAccount" in the MIRO but in this model we have to indicate the account ourselves. The system does not propose it.
Thats why I thought of the "Planned Delivery costs" option.
Hope this clarifies a bit more the case we have.
    Thanks for any feedback

  • G/L Account  for Unplanned Delivery cost.

    Hi,
I have a requirement to distribute the Unplanned Delivery cost to different G/L  accounts based on the material type of the item.
Is there any User exit or standard setting to solve this.
    Thanks & regards,
    Maruthu

    Hi
Unplanned delivery costs can be trigerred by customizing the the account assignemnts in OBYC under UPD transaction key.
For trigerring different G/L accounts based on the Material type, use Enhancement LMR1M002- customer exit EXIT_SAPLKONT_011.
In that you need to determine the G/L account based on account category refernce & Event key UPF.

  • Planned delivery cost for the scheduling agreement

    Hi Experts
    1. I have an requirement to post Invoice ver. for the Planned delivery cost (freight, customs duty,CVD etc) against the Scheduling Agreement just like Import Purchases with checking off the GR Based IV Indicator before doing the GR
I tried it but its giving me that no delivery costs are Planned in the Scheduling agreements it runs fine in case of the PO because PO is a time independent.  Please inform how to post the same for schedule agreement with time dependent indicator on. I tried switching off the time dependent indicator and the system allowed, but my requirement is to Post I.V for the delivery cost with the time dependent indicator on.
Appreciate if you can suggest something in this case Urgently .
    2. Aother issue is we have some uploaded Scheduling agreement from legacy system with Time dependent conditions. For this we need to post planned delivery cost in Miro. Since the system is not allowing to post, how to about for this. Shall we enter the delivery cost in unplanned delivery cost in Miro and post.  Please suggest if any alternate solution is available.
    Regards
    Arvind

    Hi,
As you know if the delivery cost document is not posted during GR the
delivery cost is not proposed during invoice (MIRO). Planned delivery
cost will be proposed in invoice only when there are records in EKBZ
table. The EKBZ table will be updated when delivery cost is posted
    during GR itself.
Please ensure in the PO itself thatr the conditions have been defined
properly with the relevant amounts and values.
During GR when planned delivery cost conditions are present in PO,
system checks for values in amount field. Then only appropriate
calculations will be done for delivery cost and planned delivery cost
document will posted during GR and hence updates EKBZ table.
Solution to this issue is described in below steps,
    1) reverse the invoice document
    2) reverse GR document.
    3) You have to give values in amount field in relevant conditions ZGDS
       in the PO.
If you face any issues changing the values, delete above conditions
and put it again manually and give values in amount field also.
    4) Post GR once again, delivery cost document will also be posted.
You can check it in PO history.
    5) During invoice select Item + planned delivery cost and post the
invoice. If you need planned delivery cost to be posted separately,
then you can post individual invoice for item and delivery cost.
Please note it is not possible to post delivery costs for documents with
    multiple accountassignments.
For your second question, I am afraid I can not answer. Please open a new ntry in the forum, so that someone else can answer it.
    Best Regards,
    Arminda Jack

  • Total Delivery Cost for partial Item delivery

    Hi Guru,
I have a requirement wherein I have to apply the total delivery cost for partial Item delivery.
For example: Even if there is partial GR, delievery cost must be paid in full.
Say PO is for 100 PC and delivery cost is 100 EUR. Now at MIGO if the delivered quantity is 60, the freight vendor must still be paid 100 EUR.
Is this possible by configuration or do we need to make any changes at code level? If yes, Please guide me on how to do that....

Create a PO without tick GR-Bsd IV, suppose I have created PO with qty 20 and rate 1 INR and give freight 50 INR (Fixed Amount)..
Then I have done partial GR for qty 5. My freight amount booked as 12.5 INR (for partial GR)
Then I have gone for MIRO..
Here select Goos/Service item + Planned delivery cost.
Enter the PO, you can see two line items appear..
One for goods and one for freight...
Goods will come as qty 5 and amount 5 INR and Freight will come as qty 5 and amount 12.5 INR.
Just change the freight qty and amount as 20 and 50 INR.
Then post the MIRO, you can see your total freight will be booked to vendor..
Now again do GR for qty 2, at that time your freight amount will booked as 5 INR.
Then when you will go for MIRO, you can see only the GR item, Freight qty and amount will not come at the time MIRO..
(Note : I have told the scenario as per my previous screen shot)

  • DRB (ALO1): document for PO delivery costs is missing

    Hi,
When I view a purchase order that contains a posted goods receipt + invoice receipt document for the goods itself as well as for the planned delivery cost, the GR / IR posting for the planned delivery cost can not be seen using document relationship browser (ECC60, SP 14).
It looks like data stored in table EKBZ (History per Purchasing Document: Delivery Costs) is not included in the DRB functionality.
I didnu2019t find a SAPNET note nor a SDN posting regarding this issue.
Does somebody know if there is a solution for that missing functionality?
    BR Christian

    Dear,
In continuation of your R&D i would like to mention :
GR-based IV means that the valuation takes place per reference document. To make this possible, all documents with reference to a GR document (like GR reversal, subsequent delivery, invoice, invoice reversal etc.) will be updated with the same reference document key. This data from the application area in question is also updated in the PO history (EKBE).
For delivery costs there is no GR-based IV, but only item based invoice verification, therefore these fields are not updated in the PO history for delivery costs (EKBZ).
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=68747584
Get the reference field in EKBE when ever you do the MIRO with reference to PO.But when you do the MIRO wrt bill of entry etc, then you will get the reference field in table EKBZ.
    Regards,
    Syed Hussain.
