Warning. Skype just charged me $54 for a Premium a...

I am so angry. Any ideas about how to contact someone with Skype.  I do not see any phone #'s . Is this happening to anyone else?

If verizon states it is damaged you can take them to small claims court for the charge of $299
You see the return carrier could have damaged the device or the return warehouse could have damaged the device.
Do not let verizon telling you that they have photos since it means nothing let the court decide since there is doubt you damaged it.
You must send a formal dispute letter for that amount via Certified Return Receipt Requested from the US Postal Service and must pay all amounts not in dispute. After you get the green card receipt I would file with your local small claims court.
Do not arbitrate. Go to court. Add the fees for fi!ing, cost of the certified letter and the $299
Once verizon is served they will contact you. If they relent and pay you or credit your account make sure the agreement is sent to you in writing before you drop your court case. A fax back would be the quickest.

    What were you buying ? If you were gifting content or an amount then that will be taken from your credit card, an account's balance can't be used for gifting.     If you purchased an annual plan before September 10, 2014, your account was upgraded to a new annual plan. And the $10.99 storage plan is for 20GB/year.

    I can see in your account that you have an active calling subscription. Please note that subscriptions renew automatically, as stated in our Terms of Use.     If it was an audiobook then they are one-time only downloads, to get it on your other devices you need to sync it to them and not re-download it oneach.     Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.

    The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power.   • WARNING: "Make FLV" feature is now (for me) recording ENTIRE screen, not just Connect video!

    Folks, the title says it all. I've been using Connect for years, but suddenly I am finding that when I use the feature on a recorded meeting to "make flv", it not only records the meeting video but ANY WINDOW I MAY VIEW ON MY COMPUTER while that make flv recording is processing.
    Now, I do not see others complaining about this, so perhaps there's some combination of factors that makes it happen for me and not others. But maybe they just have not noticed it. I had always feared this for years, but when I checked it never happened, until I notice it happening now in recordings I've made in recent days.
    You can see a real example of this issue, in the following dropbox video. In just the first 10 seconds, you can see both the windows task bar at the bottom and me switching to other windows, all recorded.

    This is devastating, because I post these recordings on the web after the meeting. If I had not noticed it, I might have viewed sensitive email, password files, etc, while recording. And you can see the Connect meeting recording from which I was using the "make flv" here: http://experts.adobeconnect.com/p6vtmdknx1n/ . There is clearly no windows desktop being recorded in that meeting. What you see in the FLV above is from when I was MAKING the flv, which is the terrible problem.
    If it's somehow limited to me, I'll be happy just to solve it for me and be glad for others, but can anyone from Adobe help here?
    And if you (fellow Connect users) DO make recordings, you may want to do a test and confirm if it's working as expected for you (recording ONLY the connect video and nothing else on your computer). It will be interesting to hear what combination of factors may cause this to happen and when it changed.
    I'm not aware of any change in my hardware or software to effect this, but perhaps there's been a change on the server? My connect meetings are hosted by Adobe, at https://experts.adobeconnect.com. I am creating the recordings on the same Windows 7 machine I have for years, and the Flash player shows being 14.0.0.145, and I'm using Chrome as my browser. If I start my meeting and choose the help>About option, it reports Connect 9.2.2, and the add-in as WIN 11.9.970.233.
    Any help appreciated, and hope it may also help others if they may have the same problem.

I originally gave the URL for my meeting room, rather than where the recordings are. Of course, one needs to login (and have a login) to see those recordings. I just wanted to show anyone who would help that my Connect account is indeed hosted by Adobe, FWIW.

    We have a workaround for your issue. Please turn on the 'Aero' theme on your machine.
    Go to
    Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization
    [Or go to desktop, right-click, Personalize]
    In the personalize screen, choose any of the ‘Aero’ themes:
    This will resolve your issue of FLV capturing extraneous things.
    We agree that this should work for Non-Aero mode too and hence we will be getting the bug fixed. Till then please use Aero mode to avoid this issue.

    Verizon is charging my account for a service that was not provided.
    I am a LONG term Verizon customer and no one is helping.....
    I work in IT, with the Network and Mobility groups, so I know what I am talking about, network access, O/S, bandwidth, etc….
    I changed to a droid Bionic, from my LG (broken).   I started experiencing issues with inability to connect to a solid 4G network. The phone was not updated to Ice Cream Sandwich O/S and tried repeatedly to get update, but no go. Verizon did swap out with another bionic, but still experienced issues with inability to consistently get network access.  I work in a big city, no one else was having issues at my work.
    Husband left for Europe due to a family emergency mid Sept.   FIL was in hospital.  I work and there is a 7 hour time difference.   We both had SKYPE on our phones.  At work, I tried to contact him, using SKYPE.   SKYPE would not connect, due to the phone issue connecting to the network.   I had to call husband directly (international calls) to get updates on the condition of my ill, 96 yo FIL.  
    1.   This was not an issue of an app that did not function and that Verizon does not support.   I did not have access to the network, thus could not use SKYPE to make calls.  This was not a choice to call international.  
    Verizon admitted that it was a phone issue.  Since I am a long term Verizon customer and have insurance on the phone, they tried to give me yet another Bionic 9that would not work).  After much discussion, they sent me a RAZR that was on the updated O/S.
    Up to the 29th of Sept, I was on the Bionic and could not access SKYPE.  Once I transferred over, I could use SKYPE and was not forced by Verizon to make international calls due the lack of network service that I pay for EACH MONTH.
    When I received my bill for Sept, there were hundreds of dollars of additional charges.  
    This was due to the international calling that I was forced to use to check on status of terminally ill 96 yo FIL.
    This was due to the overage of minutes that I had and was never notified of by Verizon, due to the interational calls.
    I have tried to deal with Verizon on eliminating the charges. This is after having to deal with the death and funeral arrangements, service, etc of FIL.  Verizon claims that I made the calls, thus I must pay.   They admitted to it being a Verizon network issue when they traded for the Razr and updated O/S, but still want me to pay hundreds of dollars in extra fees that THEY CAUSED.

    Another thing I notice about your prior post is you say "Verizon claims that I made the calls, thus I must pay." but you also claim to have made the calls yourself, so it isn't necessarily that Verizon "claims" you made the calls, you DID make the calls.
    Finally, I have found myself in a similar situation in the past and most likely in the near future. I also didn't(and don't) expect Verizon to pay for my phone usage during those times.

    Have 2 subscriptions to the same destination. First (cheaper) for landlines and Second (more espensive) for landlines and mobiles.  Based on FAQ below I expected landline subscription is used for landlines and landline + mobile for mobiles at least until one of them exausted.
    However when I call landline I'm crarged minutes from the Second (landline and mobile) subscription.  So I cannot use my landline only subscription until landline+mobile is exausted and then Skype will charge me pay-as-you go rate for calls to mobile.  
    Is that how that supposed to work? Then either I miss something in the statement from Skype website below or this statement is misleading:
    If I have more than one subscription that covers calls to the same country, which one is used when I make a call?
    Skype is pretty clever about using the subscription that’s best for you. It ranks your subscriptions and uses them in this order: 
    By minute rate – lowest rate (i.e. cheapest) ranks first
    By plan type – unlimited* ranks first, and limited ranks second
    By next monthly minutes reset date – nearest ranks first 

    Any response to this from Skype? This is pretty phony practice IMHO.  Sure, couple of dollars stollen by Skype this way does not validate any serious action from single customer besides just stopping being fooled by this subscriptions scam.  But I hope that some class action lawyers monitor these forums.
