I am getting error while adding new ECC variable in ICM. PFB the error message.
" The Maximum size of all Expanded Call Variable in the Computer Telephony Integeration Server is 2500 bytes. Saving these schanges would require 2795 bytes.
will this hamper the performance of the system..?

Hi, no, it will not work at all, so no worries about system performance.
Why are you adding a new ECC variable when the system tells you it wont fit?

Is your item getting added through Javascript client object model ? If yes, you can write in the success delegate of your list creation method the logic to create the subsite.

Not able to set Weblogic Runtime on eclipse while adding new weblogic srvr

Hi Everyone,
I downloaded Oracle Integration pack for eclipse by clicking at "Download additional server adapters". I am not able to set Weblogic Runtime on eclipse while adding new weblogic server.
I am trying to give following values:
Name :Oracle WebLogic Server 10gR3 (2)
Weblogic home :C:\bea\wlserver_10.3
Java home: C:\bea\jrockit_160_05
Below it I am getting "No applicable extension found" and finish button is greyed out.
Please help in telling what is wrong. Never faced such an issue.

I tried the weblogic 10.3.1、10.3.3、10.3.4、10.3.5 still show the info that "No applicable extension found" and finish button is greyed out.

Strangely enough even though I had gotten the " Install failed....Mac OS X could not be installed on your computer....The install could not copy the necessary support files" I had left it on the screen and left the room for awhile. I walked back into my computer room a few minutes ago and the window on the screen stated that the SL OS 10.6.4 had successfully installed. I am now very carefully checking things out to make sure the fonts are where they should be. With the exception of some updating it appears all may be well.
PS. Below is a note I was writing to Kurt (also assisting me) to try and detail what had happened. Added it in case it could be of any value to you

Thank you for response. following is series of events to my best recollection.
I would typically not have been this stupid/ignorant but was doing this in a hurry with someone asking me questions...wasn't paying attn. to what I was doing
• downloaded new fonts
• opened downloaded fonts, clicked font icons to open and install them.
• typed "fonts" in spotlight (with the intention of moving new fonts into font folder)The Spotlight results window revealed 5 or 6 font folders. I ignorantly started to try a clean up by installing all fonts into a single folder (not thinking about system fonts)
Sometimes when you are moving a folder the window you moved it from will jump around..well this occurred and I mistakenly released the folder on the desk top. This caused a copy to be made. After some investigation I realized it was a copy of the required system fonts that were still located in the original "spotlight results" window.
• I attempted to delete the copy..when I did an administrator password box appeared I entered the password and the result was both system font folders were deleted (the original & the desk top copy I erroneously made)
• Now windows open but are blank with sometimes faded mini sized icons. If I click one of the mini icons i get a new blank window. I am unable to give any instruction, have total blank menus, dialog boxes, etc.

 Cannot add additional approver
 We are now on SRM 5.5 and a document attached shows the
 patch levels
 from SPAM.
 In shop transaction, it is possible to change the
 default approvers,
 but not possible to Add.
 When we add, the system shows the list of available
 approvers, allows
 selection, but "transfer" button does not actually
 transfer.
 When the cart is saved, the added approval shows as "no
 approval
 available".
 We are using the standard workflows for 2 step approval.
 A document is attached to show what happens and the
 results of checks
 we have performed.
 BUS2121 also shows as ok when checked.
Any pointers what could be possible reasons.

I get an AccessConrolException while adding a new JCE when the application is run via web start, although all-permissions has been defined.
JVM is 1.5.0_04-b05 on Windows and Linux
Do I have to specify something extra, or is it not possible to add a JCE?
I guess webstart creates the right security policy file, or do I have to provide it?

Crash While Adding New Calendar Items

I've tried adding new entries into the Calendar and am getting an odd crash back to the Home screen immediately after setting the event's time to "All Day" ('flipping the switch' for All Day). It's consistent and repeatable. I realize that random crashes are pretty much going to be common here in the initial launch of the Software Upgrade but I was kind of hoping that this wouldn't be one of them. It doesn't reset the iPod or stop the music playing-- which actually surprised me in that respect-- but it does fail to save the event. Anyone else have this issue, or any other 'reliable' crashes?

I see a definite delay, and I thought it might crash, but it doesn't.
Try replacing the data on next sync - the option is at the bottom of the info tab in iTunes.

Did the subscriber database used for replication before?
Check the MSDistribution_history table in the distribution database. It contains history rows for the Distribution Agents.
In case you encounter the “One or more subscriptions have been marked inactive. Drop and re-create all subscriptions for this node that are failing with this error.” in the Replication Monitor after restarting the Distribution
Agent.
This means that the Distribution Agent is unable to delivery data due to some errors or the job was stopped and the Agent will go into an infinite retry logic.
The Agent will stay in retry mode until the Distribution Cleanup job removes the “cached” transactions from the Distribution Database. At this point the Distribution Agent will no longer have the data needed to “catch
up” the subscriber. As result, the Subscriber will be marked “inactive” and post the following error in the MSrepl_errors table in the Distribution database.

Error while adding new function to HRMS fast formula

Hi,
when i m trying to add a new external function to BG_ABSENCE_DURATION formula, it is getting verified successfully. But when i m trying to save it, it is giving error as below:
APP-FF-33980: Internal error.
A compilation error has been detected while attempting to generate package FFP294_01011900
Please consult your system administrator.
I have compliled the package successfully using TOAD and registered the function using Define Function form. Please help me to resolve this problem.

Usually this error occurs when the called function has not been properly defined. You say you have defined it, but check that the parameters are the same in the FF call to the function and the function itself.
If that is OK, I would then create a new FF with all the same code and try to save that
Finally, if all else fails, check MetaLink as thee are a few references to other problems in this area which require patches to solve them.

Transport error while adding new Navigational Attr to InfoCube on BIA

Hi Gurus,
I have added a new field in the Profit Center Master data(0PROFIT_CTR_ATTR) in R/3 and the changes seem to be working fine in BW. This 0PROFIT_CTR is present in one of the InfoCubes that we have on the BIA. I have turned 'ON' the newly added Navigational Attribute in the InfoCube and have saved the changes. Now when I try to transport these changes to the QA for testing, the transport is getting cancelled with the message 'NOT CORRECT USAGE' in rsddtrex.
I am wondering if this is because I have added and turned'ON' a new Navigational attribute in the InfoCube under the BIA.Maybe the BIA index and the the InfoCube structure do not match because of this newly added Nav Attr in the InfoCube?
Do you have any suggestions on this. I was under the impresiion that even if this was the case, the transports should succeed and only the rollup to the BIA process should fail in the BIA rather than the transports to QA.
Any suggestions?

Getting Warning while adding Dimension table to FACT LTS

While i am applying join betwwen fact and Dimension at BMM level, i am getting warning as there is no join with Fact Source, even though i provided join there.

Make sure you have set the Content Level of all LTS of all Fact Tables...
Double click on LTS of fact, go to Content Level --> change to Logical Level to 'Column (or) Detail Level'
then u will not get warnings..

Everytime I try to ad a new mail account to Mail, it crashes at the point where you need to put in het smtp-server. I've added two other accounts before without any problems (gmail and work).

Error while adding new field in the Segment type thru WE31.

Hi All,
I want to add one field in the Z segment type using WE31.But i am getting the error message as
'Current segment definition <segment name> can no longer be changed and The current segment definition
is already released.You can either add a new segment definition or cancel the release of the current segment definition'.
The current segment defenition which i am trying to change got the SAP release of 45B. But the system has upgraded to Ecc6 recently.
I tried going to the edit menu and cancel the release, but still it is not allowing.
Whats the impact of the Add button(Add version) and creating a new version?.will it create a new version for ECC6?.

You can create a new version. This will not create any problems. You might not be able to cancel the release because of upgrade.
