WCF-WebHttp dynamic URL and Dynamic Header/Behavior configuration.

HI,
I have an requirement to integrate with the REST Services in BizTalk Server 2013 R2, And This REST Service URL and HTTP Headers will differs per message. So I had created an Orchestration with the Dynamic Request-Response port and assign the properties in
Message Assignment Shape. However while testing HTTP Headers were not added to service request message.
I had tried with create Custom endpoint behaviour and assigned this behaviour to service request in Orchestration, however this property also not assigned from the Orchestration.
Is this a bug for WCF-WebHttp Adapter? Is any other options to achieve my requirement?
Thanks,
Raj
Praveen

Hi Praveen,
Its a known bug already
reported to Microsoft.
BizTalk 2013 servers that have been upgraded from BizTalk 2010 are missing
some of the new global properties including HttpHeaders properties because
of this even in orchestration we cannot change the HttpHeaders on messages.
As a workaround WCF behavior extension
can be used to solve this problem.
Which can be downloaded from here.
For the detailed explanation, I would adivce you to follow the below link on how to dynamically change
the WCF-HttpHeaders for WCF-WebHTTP adapter.
Dynamic
WCF-HttpHeaders for WCF WebHttp adapter
There is already a discussion going on around this on another post. Ashwin has also recommend to use custom pipeline component as a work around .

  • Questions on URLs and dynamic navigation rules

    Hello,
    I am new to JSF, so any help is appreciated. I am trying to do the following:
    Dynamic display URI - users submit multiple parameters for a search. The URL needs to change depending on search parameters they submit. For example, if they search by state the URL must be changed to /state_name, ex: "/maryland"...

    Yes and no... Searches can be made for different types of items. The same search form and search dispatcher are used, but each type has it's own display JSP for search results.
    For example, searches for books are displayed as "/books/....", audio is displayed as "/audio/..." using different JSPs. Each item type has it's own parameters that may end up in the URI, but they share a search form. Searching for a book in Maryland should change the URI to "/book/maryland/" and use a JSP that displayes Book search results. Searching for classical music should change the URI to "/audio/classical", etc.
    "/book/maryland/" and "/book/california/" will use the same JSP, and so will "/audio/classical" and "/audio/rock". Different JSPs will be used for "/book/*" and "/audo/*"

  • Dynamic url and jdbc for entity class

    Hi all,...
    I want to create a data aware program by using netbeans 6.0.
    So that open a contextual menu in projects section, and simply add a new 'Master/Detail Sample Form'.
    The IDE than ask me about the connection (jdbc driver, url etc) and table name I will use in the form.
    It's work as expected.
    But, the jdbc configuration can't be changed anymore, it's fixedly saved in persistence.xml.
    That's the problem. I want to make an application that can connect to differences database (with same structure), so that my program can use oracle, mysql or others as user wish (The user should fill the jdbc connection property whenever the program executed).
    How's the solution? should I back to primitive jdbc connection by using 'Statement'?
    Thanks in advance

    JNDI is a naming service used when you are deployed (typically) in a J2EE container such as Tomcat or JBoss. Your application is desktop right now, but you mention that you want to deploy it on your intranet? My guess is that you mean right now your database is on your machine, and you are connecting to that via localhost, and that the application will remain a desktop one.
    Where you put the database should not be an issue. If you can see the machine on your network, you should be able to connect with JDBC. Simply substitute the IP or host name where the database resides. I did a quick look at Hibernate's documentation, and it appears you can configure the data sources used for their flavor of JPA dynamically.
    There is an example of how to programatically create an Entity Manager in Sec 2.2 of this page http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/stable/entitymanager/reference/en/html_single/#setup-configuration.

  • Dynamic Ranges and Dynamic SQL

    Hi,
    I have built a table of ranges and would like to use them in an sql query. Ive had a look but cannot think of a way to get this to work.
    I have a table of fieldnames and a table of ranges. Does abap have a way of selecting a element from a table so I can generate the following sql.
    select * from table
      into some_table
      where
        'FIELD0' IN range[0] AND
        'FIELD1' IN range[1] AND
        'FIELD2' IN range[2] AND
        'FIELD3' IN range[3] AND
    I know how to build dynamic sql thats the easy bit. The hard bit is inserting a reference to a table element dynamically into the sql :S
    Any help would be much appretiated,
    Thanks,
    James

    hi,
      Yes, We can make use of Subroutine pools.
      This is from F1 help about dynamic where..
      1. This variant is exclusively for use with SELECT. The
         internal table itab can only have one field which must be of
         type C and not be greater than 72 characters. itab must be
         specified in parentheses with no blanks between the
         parentheses and the table name. The condition specified in
         the internal table itab must have the same form as a
         condition in the ABAP/4 source code. The following
         restrictions apply:
    - You can only use literals as values, not variables.
    <b>     - The operator IN cannot be used in the form f1 IN itab1.    </b>

  • Finding column count with dynamic columns and dynamic tables

    I've done some PL/SQL for awhile now but was trying to devise a solution for the following problem:
    I wish to find the number of times a specific value for a column exists in all the tables that contain the field and I have access to see with the current user. The column name and value will be passed in via parameters.
    I was hoping to use something like
    select table_name from all_tab_columns where column_name = <variable table name>;
    then use the results from this to create a select statment based off the tables from the select above. I know the difference between dba_tab_columns and all_tab_columns - I want to make sure that I only retrieve the values i have access to.
    Can anyone point me to some guide / website / reference material I can read to catch up on the idea of creating this statment?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    it's a test version.
    You can naturally tune it, but it seemed to work:
    declare
    pi_column VARCHAR2(30) := 'DEPTNO';
    pi_value VARCHAR2(4000) := '20';
    v_count NUMBER := 0;
    v_count_tab NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    FOR I IN (select owner, table_name from dba_tab_columns
              where column_name = pi_column
    LOOP
        EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'SELECT count(*) FROM '||i.owner||'.'||i.table_name||
                          ' WHERE '||pi_column||' = :pi_value'  INTO v_count_tab USING pi_value;
        v_count := v_count + v_count_tab;
    END LOOP;
    dbms_output.put_line(v_count);
    END;Regards

  • Custom headers are not exported correctly in the bindings for the WCF-WebHttp adapter

    I have an annoying issue with the bindings for the WCF-WebHttp adapter.
    As you know, the "Messages" tab of the WCF-WebHttp transport properties enables a developer to configure a number of static outbound HTTP headers. When I've entered two or more headers in the textbox, the CRLF between individual headers will be
    stripped after a bindings import. This means I cannot call RESTful services that require more than one custom HTTP header in a messaging-only scenario, because BizTalk goofs up the configuration.
    For example, when I enter the following headers in the textbox:
    Then export the bindings, and immediately import the bindings again (untouched), the textbox now shows:
    I did some brief analysis, and within the binding file's XML, the HttpHeaders property (contained in the TransportTypeData element) is not encoded/escaped in any way, so therefore the significant whitespace (in this case CRLF) that needs to be preserved
    is lost in the import process.
    Can anyone reproduce this and can anyone think of a workaround (without resorting to an orchestration)?

  • Biztalk 2013 Wcf-webhttp adapter Issue

    Hi
    I am trying to get WCF-WebHttp adapter working but it is ending  error.
    I created a service account with Bing api (can browse this url directly by providing login credentials)
    URL:
    https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/SearchWeb/Web?Query='WA'
    These are my wcf-webhttp adapter settings
    URI
    https://api.datamarket.azure.com/Bing/SearchWeb
    http Method and URL Mapping
    <BtsHttpUrlMapping>
     <Operation Method="GET" Url="/Web?Query='WA'"/>
     </BtsHttpUrlMapping>
    it seems template matching is failing in wcf adapter as a result Outbound URL property is not getting promoted resulting below error.
    Can you please advice what is the missing piece in this configuration?
    Error Message:

    Hi
    Moreover I observed one more thing with another API if URI is brows able directly without Key it works
    Actual URL: https://ServerName/StoreMasterServices/Markets
    URI: https://ServerName/StoreMasterServices/
    Headers Info
    <BtsHttpUrlMapping>
    <Operation Method="GET" Url="/Markets" />
    </BtsHttpUrlMapping>
    This URI: https://ServerName/StoreMasterServices/
    is brows able even without Key  (/Markets) and it is working fine.
    So Question is, is it mandatory to have URI brows able (with credentials if it needs)?

  • Dynamic fetch for dynamic sql query

    Hi All,
    I want to dynamically create a query and fetch it into a dynamic cursor record...The structure of the record should be the same as that of the query...
    Can you suggest any method to do that.
    eg
    OPEN <dynamic cur> FOR <dynamic stmt>;
    LOOP
    FETCH <dynamic cur> INTO <dynamic rec>;
    END LOOP;
    CLOSE <dynamic cur>;
    How do I declare the dynamic rec here?I would not know the columns in the query beforehand either.
    Thanks,
    Merz

    Saying that, as others have said, there is the DBMS_SQL package which can be used for certain valid reasons such as the following example....
    As sys user:
    CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY TEST_DIR AS '\tmp\myfiles'
    GRANT READ, WRITE ON DIRECTORY TEST_DIR TO myuser
    /As myuser:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE run_query(p_sql IN VARCHAR2

  • Performance Issue : Why does ADF Taskflow Portlet (JSF bridge portlet) loading ADF Specific images, css, js everytime from portlet producer with dynamic URL with portlet_id and context parameters?

    Hi All,
    We have used WSRP Portlet in Webcenter Portal Page. The Portlet is created using JSF Bridge out of ADF Bounded Taskflow.
    It is causing Performance issue. Every time static content like js, css and images URLs are downloaded  and the URL contain portlet_id and few other dynamic parameters like resource_id, client_id etc.
    We are not able to cache these static content as these contains dynamic URL. This ADF Specific  images, js and css files  are taking longer time to load.
    Sample URL:

    Please suggest , how this performance issue can be resolved?
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Digesh

    Strange...
    I can't reproduce this because i have issues with creating portlets... If i can solve this issue i will do some testing and see if i can reproduce the issue...
    Can you create a new producer with a single portlet that uses a simple taskflow and see if that works?
    Are you also using business components in the taskflows or something? You can try removing some parts of the taskflow and test if it works so you can identify the component(s) that causes the issues.

I have come across a simple application that i can not get working in Internet Explorer and as simple as it is I am surprised that it is not working. I think you have two options. You can open most modal subVI panels
    directly on a remote machine. The popup panels won't be in a web page,
    but it will work with few changes.
    A second approach would be to change the app slightly. The buttons that
    launch the subVIs will turn into URL links. The links will open a web
    page with a different embedded panel.

  • Repost of b12s post from 20070712: JavaServer Faces - Dynamic faces and Int

    Thanks for taking a second to read my post, i hope you can help. I am almost complete with my web app using Netbeans VWP and Dynamic Faces. I have come across a simple application that i can not get working in Internet Explorer and as simple as it is I am surprised that it is not working. I cant believe that the Dynamic Faces team would just ignore compatability with IE altogether. Basically i am trying to get AJAX interaction going on by adding text into a textbox and adding a new DynaFaces.fireAjaxTransaction(this); to the submit however it does not seem to work. Maybe you can help...
    Here is my page:

    I didn't have time to debug this but it would be helpful if you could make the netbeans project for this demo available.

  • Spry Tabbed panels + Progressive Enhancement and Dynamic Loading of Content With Spry

    Is there any way to combine tabbed panels together with "Progressive Enhancement and Dynamic Loading of Content With Spry"?
    Visit: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/articles/best_practices/progressive_enhancement.ht ml#updatecontent
    And click on the "Using Spry.Utils.updateContent()"
    The 3rd example shows how to use a fade transition whenever the content changes.
    I already have tabbed panels. My menu contains buttons (on tabs) and my Content div contains the panels.
    Tabs code;
    <ul class="TabbedPanelsTabGroup">
              <li class="TabbedPanelsTab">
                   <table class="Button"  >
                        <tr>
                        <td style="padding-right:0px" title ="Home">
                        <a href="javascript:TabbedPanels1.showPanel(1);" title="Home" style="background-image:url(/Buttons/Home.png);width:172px;height:75px;display:block;"><br/></a>
                        </td>
                        </tr>
                   </table>
              </li>
    etc
    etc
    etc
    and the panel code:
    <div class="TabbedPanelsContent" id="Home">
         CONTENT
    </div>
    I hoped i can use the example code from the link into my tabbed panels.
    I thought this code:
    onclick="FadeAndUpdateContent('event', 'data/AquoThonFrag.html'); return false;"
    could be added to the tab code like this:
    <a href="javascript:TabbedPanels1.showPanel(1);" onclick="FadeAndUpdateContent('event', 'data/AquoThonFrag.html'); return false;" title="Home" style="background-image:url(/Buttons/Home.png);width:172px;height:75px;display:block;"><br/></a>
    But the content doesnt fade...
    I know i need to change the header etc.
    The following is from the link:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:spry="http://ns.adobe.com/spry">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
    <title>Aquo Events</title>
    <script src="../../../includes/SpryEffects.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script src="../../../includes/SpryData.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    function FadeAndUpdateContent(ele, url)
    try {
         Spry.Effect.DoFade(ele,{ duration: 500, from: 100, to: 0, finish: function() {
              Spry.Utils.updateContent(ele, url, function() {
                        Spry.Effect.DoFade(ele,{ duration: 500, from: 0, to: 100 });
    }catch(e){ alert(e); }
    -->
    </script>
    <style type="text/css">
    /* IE HACK to prevent bad rendering when fading. */
    #event { background-color: white; }
    </style>
    </head>
    So i changed my header etc, put the SpryEffects.js and SpryData.js into position and nothing changed...
    Is there a way to keep my tabbed panel (or change as less as possible) and let
    A. The fade work
    B. The loading work.
    The problem now is that it loads all pages instead of only the home. Therefore i wanted this Progressive Enhancement.
    And the fading part is just because its nice...

    It doesnt show in the post but off course i changed this link;
    "data/AquoThonFrag.html"
    into;
    "javascript:TabbedPanels1.showPanel(1);"
    I must say i dont know if this even works...

  • Folder look up and dynamic creation of scroller!!!

    Hi everyone,
    I am making an application "event showcase" which has a
    gallery of pictures and videos of events like birthdays and
    parties. What ideally the app should do is, a folder is on the http
    server which has some sub folders by the name of the events like
    "A's birthday", now every "event folder" will contain pics and
    videos, Now the app should get the file names of the pics and
    videos, load them into the thumbnails when a event is clicked from
    the listbox on the app. and right im bigtime stuck as im not
    getting any idea on 2 things -
    1) i want to know all the names of the files(images and
    videos) of the folder from where im loading my images and videos,
    so that i can use their names for completing the URLs, im doing
    this so that i dont have to give whole url name in the xml file for
    all the files, suppose 30 images...so i want a code that can do a
    look up in a folder(
    http://*******/events/*) and
    give me the names of all the files.and once i have the names, i'll
    append them in the url and wil load the files dynamically.
    2) I have a listbox, when an event(list item) is selected, i
    want all the pics and videos to get loaded dynamically in the
    scroller. and i want to play with the size of the image, so that i
    can reduce the size of an image programatically to make it a
    thumbnail and also set the size of the image to the size of the
    main imageloader.
    here's everything i did till now..
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/o4htrl

    1. You'll need a server-side script, like PHP, for this.
    Check out PHP's dir
    function...
    2. Look at the MovieClipLoader class. You can use the
    onLoadInit method to
    resize images to thumbnails.
    Good luck.

  • Dynamic URL for HTTP receiver adapter

    Hi all,
    when the XI send the http request to the target system, the format maybe like this:
    header + body the body is including: Prolog, payload and Epilog
    here is about the target system have a 'input' parameter(maybe string type)
    is it possible to pass the 'head + body' these value(or maybe the whole http request message) into input
    i mean is it possible to set the dynamic URL for http receiver adapter like this:
    http://host:port/path?input=<the header and body>
    i have searched the blog Dynamic Configuration of Some Communication Channel Parameters using Message Mapping
    Link:[/people/william.li/blog/2006/04/18/dynamic-configuration-of-some-communication-channel-parameters-using-message-mapping]
    and the similar threads in the forum
    please give me some advice
    thanks in advance

    When a HTTP server requests the whole message as URL parameters, then I assume that the server also requests an HTTP GET, which is not supported by XI.
    Could you check this?

  • Dynamic URL for Recv HTTP (Adapter spec attribute enabled)

    Hi,
    I need to have a dynamic URL for one of my cases been worked. the URL is
    httlp://:<host>/perform/XTA?serv=*&action=start
    the event "action" can accept either start/stop or restart. i wanna to control this dynamically and went for recv http enabled with adapter specific message attributes. here i had enabled the check box "URL" and in parameter 1 i had given the name as "action".
    in my message payload the "action" will be start/stop or restart which is handled by UDF for which the code is below:l
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey trig = DynamicConfigurationKey.create( "http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/HTTP", "UrlParamOne");
    conf.put(trig,action);
    return "";
    this udf is mapped to the root node of the target...but when execute the case i get the following error
    "Dynamic Header - Missing Message Attributes: URL/HTTP Destination"
    when i execute the url
    httlp://:<host>/perform/XTA?serv=*&action=start
    in browser it works fine and also with fully qualified name in http recv works fine but not with dynamic settings.
    any help on it pls?

    Hi Prabhu,
    Enable Adapter-Specific Message Attributes(ASMA) in receiver HTTP channel.
    Dont enable checkboxes for "URL or HTTP Destination".
    Enable checkbox "Apply URL Parameters"
    for parameter1 textbox give value action
