WD Table: Repositioning Paging Buttons in Table Footer

Is it possible to reposition the paging buttons to appear in the right hand side of the WD table footer? Is it possible to reposition the paging to appear in the header of the Web Dynpro Table?

WDA Table element - scroll buttons missing

Hi !
Being a relative newbie in WDA, I am trying out the table control [tutorial|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/cb243c45-0801-0010-eb9c-88669007f130] for web dynpro ABAP. Even though I get the results on a browser screen from table SFLIGHT, I cannot see the next screen scroll buttons of 'next page' / 'last page' in NW 7.0 EHP2. I tried inserting the 'toolbar' element and still am not able to see the buttons. Is it a separate setting ?
The tutorial is all pre NW7.0 EHP2 and seems to come automatically along with the table element.

your question should be paginator is missing.
as per your requirement, you want paginator (footer with buttons) for your table. from NW 7.01 and onwards, srollbar is the default value for table and in lightspeed rendering only scrollbar is used.
There are still some ways to get back paginator as discussed in thread row count in table ui element
and WDTABLENAVIGATION
But shifting to pagintor may cause performance issue as well.

How do I move a table with radio buttons to another page?

I created a document in Word, converted to PDF, added a page (which was created in Adobe Forms Central, only way to get a table with radio buttons - see below for example).
The issue I have is whilst using the Trial of Adobe XI Pro I was able to move this table up a page and place it under the header. Now that the trial has run out I cannot complete this task with other documents.
I started to edit using LiveCycle but it won't let me move the table.
We have Acrobat X Pro but when I go to edit, it directs me to edit in LiveCycle. I have tried moving the table using all of these programs. Can anyone help/guide please?

Thank you for your reply. I am new to editing a pdf and using these programs. I have subscribed to Acrobat XI Pro. When I try to edit the document it directs me to LiveCycle. I cannot move the table in LiveCycle. It won't let me, and I cannot make changes in XI Pro as I did in the trial as it directs me to edit in LiveCycle. Am going in circles.

It is very interesting question. If you debug your table maintenance screen, the program of table maintenance screen will not have statically defined pf status. So you cannot exclude delete functionalities using the below statement.
SET PF-STATUS <the GUI status> EXCLUDING 'DELE'.
For viewing pf status SAP has programmed in dynamic manner using this FM VIEW_SET_PF_STATUS.
Before calling above FM you need to exclude delete function. Follow the following step for achieving this
Go to sm30. Put your table name and press on maintain push button. It will display table entries in maintenance screen.
Go to system->status
Click on program name.
Go to your flow logic of you table maintenance screen number.
It will have following code in flow logic
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.

LOOP AT EXTRACT WITH CONTROL

Basically sap fetching status dynamically from program SAPLSVIM using FM VIEW_SET_PF_STATUS. Status name is EULG.
Please donu2019t hardcode anything by using set pf status statment, you just add one line of code the PBO by creating new module.

PayPal buttons inside table scramble Design View in DW CS5.5

I developed my web site using Dreamweaver 8:

As you see, I have PayPal buttons inside table cells. I did this using Design View, putting the insertion point in the table cell, going to code view, and pasting the PayPal button code at the insertion point. This all worked fine.
I just upgraded to DW CS5.5. and now when I try to use the same procedure, the Design View image gets scrambled after I paste the button code in code view. The table format is no longer in place, and I can no longer see where the cells of the table are. However, when I go to Live View, everything looks fine including the table and the buttons.
Can anyone tell me how to overcome this problem? As it stands, I cannot use DW to work on my web site, which is a major problem for me.

With DW CS5.5 when I try to insert a PayPal button into a table (which I always did with DW8) the table in Design View gets scrambled, making it unusable. Please would one of you out there who is much more knowledgeable about DW than me try it and see if there is a solution? If you create a new HTML page in Design view, create a table in it, place the insertion point inside one of the table cells, go to the code view and locate the insertion point there, then paste the PayPal button code at that point. Here's the code:

Dynamic table with radio buttons

I need to load a dynamic table with radio buttons that allow
the user to select an item in the table. I need to have it add a
radio button with a unique identifier for each table item.
For example: the table will load all of the seminars
locations available in a certain state, the radio button will allow
the user to select the city in which they would like to attend and
that value will get passed to the registration page. The value of
each radio button would be equal to the location_id in the database
for each of the locations in the table (The table includes the
date, day, venue, address, hotel info, etc. details for each city.)
When I add dynamic radio buttons and set the value to the
location_id in the database, it allows the user to select multiple
radio buttons. I cannot find any information on how to
resolve.....??
Any help is appreciated.

Give each radio button the same name

You can change the coding of Table Maintenance.
>> Goto SM30, give table name and goto Display/Maintain mode and copy all the GUI status from standard program into your function group. Add sort button in the GUI Status of Maintain & Display mode.

Hi,
I dont think that pushbuttons will be of much use as when you click a button same code will be executed all time.
So, you can take either selection column in table control (use the SELCOL in the table attributes)
or you can also take a checkbox in table control and then can perform action on lines which were selected by the user.

Table maintanence generator is nothing but making a table available for adding records and deleting records.
The transaction code used is SM30.
follow below steps
1) go to se11 check table maintanance check box under
attributes tab
2) utilities-table maintanance Generator->
create function group and assign it under
function group input box.
also assign authorization group default &NC& .
3)
select standard recording routine radio in table
table mainitainence generator to move table
contents to quality and production by assigning
it to request.
4) select maintaience type as single step.
5) maintainence screen as system generated numbers
this dialog box appears when you click on create
button
6) save and activate table
using sm30 you can create entries manually.

One view with button an table ui

I have a view with button and table ui element...whenever i press the button i have defined an acrtion...
and in the action method i am calling a component contrller method..( this method is created automatically by create->service call bapi)
i have also defined context mapping between view and component controller contexrt.
Still when i click the button..the table ui element does not show the records

Do you mean to say that, on click of the button, service is called and the results of the service should be populated into the table?
If yes, plesase check the following points.
1.)Make sure if the method is called and check the results obtained.
2.) Also make sure if you are binding the obtained data to the context.(and check the context 's data in debugging)
3.) Check if you have defined mapping between component controller context and view context.
This is all I can think of as of now..

Java fx 2 - sort table with paging

Hi,
I have a table with paging. When a user click a column to apply sorting only the current page is getting sorted. However, I want to apply the sort on the db level. I guess I will need to listen to sort events, and then reload the current page from the db with 'SORT BY' clause. Bottom line, I need to do sort on the db, and not in memory.
What is the best way of doing it? How can I receive sort events (when user click the column header)?

Firefox does not display button and table in High Contrast Theme

When i'm using the high contrast theme in Windows 7, the webpage i'm accessing does not show layouts for tables, textboxes and buttons, whereas while accessing the same page with other browsers (i.e Chrome,IE) I can view them correctly. Please suggest whether it is possible to get the layouts in High contrast theme, if Yes, kindly tell the detailed steps to do that!

Radio button in table maintainenance

HI Experts,
In table maintenance view of a table i want to see one field as radio button and want to have checked for one of the entries out of the set of entries.
My table contain four field.
Key1 key2 nonkey1 nonkey2
I want to have nonkey2 as X for only one records for all same key1.
example data set
key1 key2 nonkey1 nonkey2
E1    1    eame   X
E1    2    eame2
Here user shd not be able to put second row nonkey2 as X. This i want to achieve through radio button for nonkey2 in table maintenance.
Please advise.

I could'nt get you....
If key1 and key2 are different in both cases then why can't the monkey2 be 'X'.
and the functionality you are talking about can also be easily achieved by using list box which has a value 'Blank' and 'X'.
