We are using db2, but system is trying to load Oracle gateway?

We are using OBI 10.1.3.3.0
Our installed database is DB2 8.2
The init blocks that are firing every hour are based on Oracle SQL syntax although we are using db2! This is causing a multitude of errors in the nqquery.log and nqserver log.
The error in nqserver.log is
[nQSError:46029]Failed to load the DLL C:\OracleBI\server\Bin\nqsdbgatewayoci8i.dll.Check if 'Oracle OCI 8.x' database client is installed.
Is there a way to configure the variable manager so it should load the db2 gateway and not the oracle one?
A third party performed our installation. Was this a installation overlook? Is there a way to fix it or would we need to reinstall
(as an aside, we are having a similar problem with Informatica - the tables are defined as Oracle tables...)

Did you set the some connection pool the init block uses to use "OCI8"? As you can see in the NQSConfig.ini, the .dll is only called for OCI8 interfaces:
[ DB_DYNAMIC_LIBRARY ]
OCI8 = nqsdbgatewayoci8;
Add-on: I overread the "was done by someone else" part of you post. So I expect this thread to grow a bit still...

Where are you hosting the site, how are you uploading the files and what's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand?

You can currently only gift content (apps, music, gift certificates) to people whose account is based in the same country as yourself - so if you and your account are not UK-based then you can't gift to a UK account holder. I am a BI Newbi and trying to understand technique of getting data to PSA (staging area) through an external system. I would prefer a high level of integration not via DB-Connect, Flat-File, ...
Can I use bapis to get data to PSA?
How and where do I trigger those BAPIS?
Can I PUSH data from external application into PSA?
Do I need the scheduler?
I read several docus about third party tools e.g. BEA Adapter but do have some general problems understanding the overall process.
Can anyone clearify?

You can use Time Machine to back up your files and then use the Migration assistant to bring back your files from the Time Machine backup. Other applications such as Carbon Copy Cloner may also do the job for you.

Trouble emailing photos from Aperture and iPhoto, recurrent message about severs and passwords. I use gmail, but system insists on defaulting to Apple mail. I haven't used the Apple mail program for years. What's up? Thanks

I cannot get either Aperture or iPhoto to email jpegs. I use gmail but there seems to be a problem with server selection or identification and passwords that I cannot figure out. Please note that I am not particularly competent technologically, so please use baby steps in your explanation.

1. Need to select your preferred method of emailing (Mail, iPhoto, Aperture, whatever) in the Preferenes
2. If you're getting password not recognised messages, then delete your account from whatever email method you are using and re enter it.

How to find out what iviews are using a particular system

We are trying to see which iviews are associated with a particular system. I've tried using Content Admin -> Multiiple property Replacement. I add our corporate folder to the 'Selected Objects' -> click next. I then select 'iview' then 'system'. I then select radio button 'search objects by property value' and enter current value of the system in quest and new value with the same system in question. I get like 1,400 hits and the list can not be displayed.

this was a really good idea. Since the list is so big, I could think of one other very simple way. Why don't you try to export the complete PCD content as a XML (via the [XML Content and Actions|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/93/28f999daa6434a845da6bf9ab5072c/frameset.htm].) In the resulting file you should also be able to search for the system alias and from there get the iView (with the complete PCD path).
Of course there is certainly a way to develop some code which can do the same for you.

If it was officially unlocked by the carrier it was originally locked to, then it should have been fine.
If it was hacked in any way to make it function as if it were unlocked, then upon restore the iOS firmware failed to re-install correctly and it is now a brick - so in that case, yup, might as well toss it in the trash.

Can see iTunes library, YouTube, movies etc but error when trying to load

Worked fine y'day- today I can see everything but when trying to access (play a downloaded show or song from iTunes library) I get an error message and to try later.
I rebooted iMac and unplugged Apple TV (2G) but getting the same message.
What gives? Just updated to iTunes version 10.2.1 btw.

I saw Peetza's thread- I get the same prompt ( "An error occurred loading this content") but unlike him (downloading a movie) i get this for everything I try to access using ATV2 (except Mobileme).

G4 starts but freezes while trying to load

My G4 has been acting strangely lately - occasionally when I boot up, nothing lights up. Then, a few weeks ago, I booted up and it said the computer could not load. These were both temporary occurences... but last night I rebooted my computer after it crashed, and now it only loads so far as the Mac OX loading page, and freezes right at the very beginning of loading. I've tried this several times and nothing has changed. Can anyone please help me here? Is this a typical problem, and one that can be fixed?

You have Bridge CS4 running in the background. In CS4 click edit/preferences/advanced and uncheck "load bridge on startup".
Then open Task Manager (assuming Win OS) and click on processes tab. Look for bridge.exe and close program.
