We have an ipod 3 and every time we try to download an app it tells us we need to update to 4.3 and our version is 4.2.1 but no updates available what do we do

We just bought a used ipod generation 3 and we are trying to download some games and every game requires the update of 4.3. and ours is at 4.2.1 but it tells us it is up to date and how are you able to get this version?

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

An iPad 1 can only be updated to iOS 5.1.1.
If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update.

Lo he restaurado como 8 veces y le he puesto musica y videos pero siempre me borra todo. He aplastado Menu y Seleccion para entrar al sistemade diagnostic o del ipod y le pongo el test manual donde entro al IO y me dice q todo esta bien. Le he dado ya varios Format directamente desde el Windows 7 y nada tampoco, siempre me borra todo desde que pasan mas de 1300 canciones y me congeal todo el equipo. Ya no se que pensar de esta compania Apple porque no da ninguna solucion ha este tema.

Well i already took my parents credit card off of my itunes
When you deleted your parents credit information did you select None?
Go back to Payment Type select the Edit button. Select None then click Done.

Settings > iTunes and App store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

Every time I try do download an app iTunes asks for a billing update, claiming my account has been used on another machine. Why?

Connect your iPad to iTunes on your Mac/PC and then go to your iPad's summary window. Then click back up if you want to back up your iPad first. After that click restore.
