Web App problem

I have a fairly simple web application running on Websphere, that connects to a DB2 database. I am getting the following error:
Error Message: ERROR: Cannot forward. Writer or Stream already obtained.
Error Code: 500
Target Servlet: null
Error Stack:
Root Error-1: ERROR: Cannot forward. Writer or Stream already obtained.
java.lang.IllegalStateException: ERROR: Cannot forward. Writer or Stream already obtained.
plus a lot of nothing, then:
Recursive Error:
Error Message: No target servlet configured for uri: /reimbursements/
Error Code: 0
Target Servlet: null
Error Stack:
Root Error-1: No target servlet configured for uri: /reimbursements/
com.ibm.servlet.engine.webapp.NoTargetForURIException: No target servlet configured for uri: /reimbursements/

I forgot to ask my question, which is:
What is wrong with my web app?

    Hello We have Office Web Apps Server 2013 running with SharePoint 2013.  Users Editing a Word document with Office Web Apps, can't use "Tabs", any Word document with Tabs; the tabs are replaced with a single space.
    Has anyone noticed this?  Is this a bug?

    Yes, currently the Word Web App does not support
    Tab Keyboard shortcut for editing document content .

  • HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-All-in-One Printer - E710n wireless print and web app problem

    We have an HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-all-in-one Printer - E710n and run Windows 7 on our laptop.
    I have run the wirelss setup wizard and have successfully connected the printer to the router, and both the laptop and printer are on the same network and have identical SSID.
    However, we can not send any prints the printer wirelessly. We have to hook it up to the USB to do so. We are also unable to access our web apps; pressing the app button on the printer control panel brings up the following:
    "Connection error. The printer was unable to connect to the server. Check your internet connection and try again."
    I have run through the suggested solutions under "A Network Connected Printer Cannot Access Print Apps, Web Services, or ePrint" in the customer care help centre which didn't work, although when I tried to enter the IP address under IPv4 into the browser address bar it timed out. I tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor, but it returns a result that suggests everything is fine.
    I turned off the firewall and tried again with no luck.
    I really am at a loss now. Diagnostics say it should work, but it doesn't. Help!

    Disable Bitdefender altogeher and try again.

  • SAP EP5 SP5 Java web app problem

    Hi
    Recently I developed a Java web app for a Portal client. The client is on EP5 SP5 with ITS and LDAP servers (a 3 server architecture). I then used the deployment tool to create the necessary ear file and then successfully deployed it to the SAP J2EE Engine. I then navigated to the following url:
    http://<portal_server>:8100/<web_app>/welcome.jsp
    However I am having trouble with the following:
    1) the jsp pages are not being rendered properly. in fact welcome.jsp does not have any jsp tags at all but I am still getting a compiling exception. as soon as I change the extension to .html the page is displayed fine. issue: why am i not able to view the jsp pages. error: com.inqmy.services.servlets_jsp.jsp.CompilingException ID 17013
    2) the web app I have developed utilises the sapjco functionality to connect to the relevant R3 system. in my web app directory structure I have included the necessary sapjco.jar in the WEB-INF/lib directory but get the attached jco error. (I shouldnt need to set the classpath since the sapjaco.jar file must get picked up from WEB-INF/lib directory). Error: At times I get a NoClassDefFoundError stopping at the line which requires the sapjco.jar file (where it uses JCo.Pool class) and at other times I get the "could not load middleware layer".
    I have tried numerous things to fix it but in vain. Any thoughts around how I could go about resolving the issues will be greatly appreciated.
    Willing to provide screenshots if required.
    Cheers

    Hi Ravi
    I used the SAP J2EE Engine Deploy Tool to create the war and ear archives as well as deploy the ear archive.  As I used this tool I included the required jar files inclusing the sapjco.jar inside WEB-INF\lib of the web archive (WAR).  I tested this in a tomcat environment before deploying it to the portal environment.
    1) The screendump is as below:
    Internal Server Error 500!

    I would have expected EP5 to be able to find the appropriate jar files.  Especially since it has its own library of jar files to work with.  I was reading some J2EE Engine doco and came across two files library.txt and reference.txt.  Do I need to maintain these files as I deploy my application?
    Your thoughts will be appreciated.

    Hi,
    I am using Windows 8\Office 2013 32bit\IE 11.
    When opening word docs in SharePoint 2013, the Word Web App shows the error "Microsoft word web app -Sorry we ran into a problem" and does not open the file.

  • Office web apps "Server error in '/wv' Application"

    Hi, I successfully installed office web app for sharepoint 2013. However, when I tried to open documents, it shows the preview but once view/edit in browser, I got this error. What seems to be the problem?
    Server error in '/wv' Application.
    Unable to determine zone from request

    Hi  ,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you encountered the error “Server error in '/wv' Application. Unable to determine zone from request” when you open document using Office Web Apps.
    Are you using  https:// to access the Office Web Apps server? Is the default zone of your web application in Alternate Access Mappings using http:// ?
    If so, you can change the default zone
    of your web application in Alternate Access Mappings to use https:// .
    Or  set AllowOAuthOverHttp to true:
    $config = (Get-SPSecurityTokenServiceConfig)
    $config.AllowOAuthOverHttp = $true
    $config.Update()

  • Event ID: 1280 Server 2012 RDS - web app fail on second session host

    Hello there
    Topography
    SBS 2011 (domain controller)
    Two VM’s:
    VM1 – All RDS rolls: RD Gateway , Connection broker, Licensing and RD access installed and acting as a session host with an active collection for RD web apps. A CA trusted certificate is installed.
    VM2 – Session host with a second collection for RD web apps
    Problem
    I have a single app installed on both session hosts (the apps require their own servers). Both appear on the RDWeb site available for use.  I can run the app hosted on VM1 no problem, but when I try to open the second app hosted on VM2 I get
    two issues:
    An error is returned
    “Your computer can’t connect to the remote computer because the Remote Desktop Gateway server address and the certificate subject name do not match. Contact your network administrator for assistance".
    When viewing the certificate, it actually shows the CA cert installed on the
    SBS server for RWW, not the cert on VM1. This has me puzzled
    Secondly on VM 2, I get
    Event ID: 1280 Warning Microsoft Windows TerminalServcies-session broker client
    Remote Desktop Services failed to join the Connection Broker on server sever-vm1.local.
    Error: Current async message was dropped by async dispatcher, because there is a new message which will override the current one.
    When I run the app internally it seems to load but then disappears.
    Some further config info if it is relevant:
    I have port 4043 (443 used) as the only port directed to the gateway
    Am I missing something simple? DNS? Port forwarding issue on the router?  Its my first deployment of this nature with RDS 2012
    Regards
    MIS5000

    Hi,
    Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
    Firstly please check the RDP version you are using. I suggest you to update to RDP 8.1 for better feature and functionality. Now other thing verify that you have the RD Gateway certificate name matches the external FQDN of the RD Gateway Server. Also please
    check that certificate is added under local computer\personal store and must be signed by trusted root authority.
    Please check below article for more detail.
    TS Gateway Certificates Part III: Connection Time Issues related to TS Gateway Certificates
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/rds/archive/2008/12/18/ts-gateway-certificates-part-iii-connection-time-issues-related-to-ts-gateway-certificates.aspx
    In regards to resolve other issue (Event ID 1280), identify and fix any connectivity problems between the RD Session Host server and the RD Connection Broker by doing the following:
    • Check network connectivity to the RD Connection Broker.
    • Start the Remote Desktop Connection Broker service.
    • Add the RD Session Host server to the Session Broker Computers group.
    More information.

    Any idea what may have caused this issue all of a sudden?
    Thank you.

    Hi Waqas
    Thanks for your help with this. I had a look at both posts, the URL works fine from the WAC server and I am not using a System account to test docs.
    Also, this is a production site that is accessible over the Internet, so we are using https therefore the WOPIZone is external-https.
    Issue #3 in the above blog link does not reflect the same error I see on my servers.
    I also had a look at the information in this link: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff431687.aspx#oauth
    Problem: You receive a "Sorry, there was a problem and we can't open this document" error when you try to view an Office document in Office Web Apps.
    If you added domains to the Allow List by using the
    New-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet, make sure you’re accessing Office Web Apps from a host domain that’s in the Allow List. To view the host domains in the Allow List, on the Office Web Apps Server open the Windows PowerShell prompt as an administrator and run
    the Get-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet. To add a domain to the Allow List, use the
    New-OfficeWebAppsHost cmdlet.
    I have not added any domains to the Allow list so this did not help either. Should I add the domain?
    Any further help with this is much appreciated.
    Thanks again.
    Yoshi

    Yes, the class file is in a jar file. Isn't supposed
    to see all the jar files in the war files. That is
    standard structure for war files.

    WHen I run my application, the index.jsp starts compiling
    and throws an error
    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/omg/CORBA/ORB
    This class is in one of the jar files in my WEB-INF/lib folder.
    What am I missing? Do I have to declare something in my web.xml file or
    do I need to put that in weblogic.xml? Currently I dont
    have any weblogic.xml file.

  • Issue with office web apps sorry, there was a problem and we can't open this document.

    Hi All,
    i am having issue when trying to open the word file using office web apps farm. i have multi-tier farm (2 wfe, 2 apps and 2 owa). is that something wrong with certificate or the way AAM configured. Can anyone give me some direction please?

    Hi,
    According to your description, my understanding is that you failed to open the word file using office web app.
    Please open the word file using office web app in other SharePoint sites and test whether this issue occurs. Also, please test whether all words have this issue.
    Please reset IIS on the OWA server.
    Please disconnect the SharePoint Farm from Office Web Apps and reconnect it. Then check the WOPIZone and TMG server.
    Please created certificate for your PC and update mappings of IP addresses.

      <filter-name>theFilter</filter-name>
      <url-pattern>/query.jsp</url-pattern>
    </filter-mapping>Then double check spelling and such.

  • Problem setting up handlers for Jetty web app

    Hello,
    I am encountering a problem with setting up the handlers for my web application, what I want is : Having some requests handled by an HTTPServlet with doGet and doPost methods ( how can I load JSP pages from within these methods ? ) and also be able to load static content ( html, JS, CSS )
    The way I'm setting it right now, I can only have one or the other, I cannot get both working.
    I will explain :
        Server server = new Server(5000);
       // This is the resource handler for JS & CSS
        ResourceHandler resourceHandler = new ResourceHandler();
        resourceHandler.setResourceBase(".");
        resourceHandler.setDirectoriesListed(false);
       // This is the context handler for the HTTPServlet
        ServletContextHandler context = new ServletContextHandler(ServletContextHandler.SESSIONS);
        context.setContextPath("/");
        context.addServlet(new ServletHolder(new Main()),"/*");
       // this is the Handler list for both handlers
        HandlerList handlerList = new HandlerList();
        handlerList.setHandlers(new Handler[] { context ,resourceHandler});
         If I add them in this order, all requests will be handled by the "context" and no static resource is loaded
         If I invert the order, the index page page is loaded by the resource handler, which means, If I activate directory listings, it gives me a list of all directories, otherwise it's just a blank page
         I tried working with a WebAppContext to load JSP pages but I still had some problems with which handler should handle which requests
        server.setHandler(handlerList);
        server.start();
        server.join();
    Thank you

    Lync web app is designed mainly for external partners who are invited to Lync meetings. Thus, the feature cannot be achieved naturally on Lync side. You may post the issue on IIS forum to verify if this can be achieved by setting LWA directory.
    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hie,
              We are facing the same problem; i.e. we are getting the same error message when we are trying to run our struts application on Weblogic 7.0.5 using JDK 1.3.1. This problem occured particularly when we tried to do a load testing using approx 20 concurrent users (a lesser load was supported though). Can you please let us know how this problem was sorted out on your end?

  • Problem opening OneNote notebook from Web App to Desktop App

    Hi everyone,
    Apologies if this is not the right forum. Hope someone can help me. I can't seem to open my OneNote 2013 Notebook which resides in SkyDrive (and is synced fine with my computer at home) in my copy of OneNote 2013 on my work laptop.
    When I try opening the file from the Web App to the Desktop:
    I first gett a message warning me about hyperlinks. That's fine, I click Yes.
    The next message is about certificates, warning me that there is a problem with the site's security certificate.
    The certificate is issued by a company I have not chosen to trust.
    The name on the certificate is invalid or does not match the site
    The security certificate date IS valid. I click Yes to proceed.
    It now says:
    We couldn't find a notebook at "https://etc.etc.etc/" A notebook usually has a table of contents file (*.onetoc or *.onetoc2)
    Not sure why. As I say, it can do it from my home PC.
    The problem could be with the network at work I connect to. I know the techies spent a long time trying to figure out which ports/domains to open to allow me to connect. They did it - mostly. I can access Skydrive from the web, but I can't sync files through
    the Skydrive app sitting on my system tray. Weird that it works one way, but not the other.
    It does open fine in the web app, but not when I try opening it from the desktop. I would much rather use the desktop app.
    What do you think? Any suggestions?

    Is anyone able to help with this please?
