Web Applet Problem OnDemandRdrtLogin Iframe

Hi,
we have multiple Web Applets attached to one object.
The Administrator has no problem. We see all the Web Applet with the correct results.
But if we login into the system with the standard user the first time we see the following link in each web applet.
https://secure-ausomxdsa.crmondemand.com/OnDemand/user/analytics/saw.dll?OnDemandRdrtLogin
After refreshing the window it does work normal and the correct web applets are shown.
We are using iframes in the web applets.
Has someone a solution or workaround for this issue. Did not found anything about the OnDemandRdrtLogin.
Seems like the user hast o login in to the reporting the first time. I am a bit confused that it works with Admin user and with the standarduser it does not work.
Kind Regards,

Well I'm sure it must be something I'm doing, but what?
I'm able to load another jnilib using a wrapper jar with no problem. I don't have the source to this jar and jnilib so I don't know how it is being done.
I've created a simple jnilib and wrapper pair using the apple's Xcode template, but get the following error.
Here is the stack trace:

So, why can my applet work with one wrapper jar and jnilib pair, and not my pair?

  • Web applet loadlibrary problem

    Hello,
    According to
    http://java.sun.com/sfaq/example/loadLibrary.html
    A web applet should be able to load a library from a method in the classpath.
    However, when I run my web applet, I get the error:
    java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission loadLibrary.caMIDI)
    I'm certain the method that is loading the library is in the classpath because when I remove this jar from the classpath, I get a class not found error.
    None of the jars are signed. I am using OS X 10.4.10.
    Any ideas,
    Thanks!

  • Real Time Report Placed in iFrame and then Within a Web Applet

    Real-Time Reports built and executed BI tool retrieve real-time updates. However, when report URL is placed within an IFRAME and that is then placed in a Web Applet and the Web Applet is placed within a Page Layout Section, the real-time report no longer retrieves real-time updates.
    Do you have any ideas as to why?

    Hi Don,
    Thanks for the reply.  I had downloaded a set of samples from SAP and I have looked through a few of the set you supplied.  I am worried that I'm going to have some trouble because the samples have the reports loaded as part of the solution but I was looking to create a more generic viewer.  I don't want to have to reprogram for each and every report that is created.  That is why I was trying to use the generic parameter dialog.  After the Report Load Failed dialog comes up, it does bring up the parm dialog and hits SQL Server just fine.  Yes...the reports are passing Parms to Stored Procs in SQL Server.  The report has default parameter values.
    What I am trying to do is search thru the application folder and gather the names of the reports located there and fill the combo box with the names of the reports.  Then the user should just be able to select a report and run it.  I can't save the data in the reports because they must be ran per the requester's date range and other desired parameters.
    Does this seem valid or am I going to have to program for EVERY single report and reprogram/recompile for every report added?  Not particularly what I want to hear.   I would have used the standard Crystal Report Viewer and had the users use that but it doesn't seem to allow you refresh the data from the viewer.
    Thanks for your help,
    Chris

  • Problem viewing Multiselect: "Error com.waveset.ui.web.applet.multiselect"

    Hi,
    I am getting this error whenever I try to show a form which has MULTISELECT fields in it.
    "com.waveset.ui.web.applet.multiselect.class" not found. All other functionality is working fine.
    The only thing I could make out is that there is a proxy(WEBSEAL junction) between web client and IDM server, I tried to edit BASE HREF in waveset.properties but still the problem persists. Can anyone provide solution for this problem?
    -- ARK

    IDM uses Java applets for the multiselect fields by default. It looks like it can't find the applet class for some reason. I'd check for the jars in the applet subdirectory where you deployed IDM. Specifically the ms6.jar file. It's possible they didn't get deployed right or that the proxy is eating them up on the way out. As an idea you might try directly accessing the jar file to see if the proxy is interfering. Something like a direct retrieval of http://example.com:8080/idm/applet/ms6.jar.
    There's a way of using a javascript based multiselect field rather than the java applet. Unfortunately it involves editing each and every form that has a multiselect field in it and adding a property such as : <Property name="noApplet" value="true"/>. I really don't get why Sun decided to use a java applet when a standard HTML field works better and is more compatible with all the different browsers out there, but whatever.

  • Dynamically Loading Applet in an IFRAME

    Hi All!
    I'm not sure if this is the right place to put my question, since it's more of a JavaScript issue. But, I'll just test my luck here.
    I have a signed applet that I wish to load dynamically. What I did was to create an HTML document containing the applet then have another HTML document, containing an IFRAME element with it's source pointing to the applet HTML document. This is how it looks like:
    *Applet.htm (HTML containing the applet)<HTML>
    <BODY>
    <OBJECT classid="clsid:8AD9C840-044E-11D1-B3E9-00805F499D93"
              width="0"
              height="0"
              id="JavaPOSDiags"
              name="JavaPOSDiags"
              viewastext>
              <PARAM name="CODE" value="javapos.DiagApplet">
              <PARAM name="ARCHIVE" value="JavaPOSDiags.jar">
              <PARAM name="NAME" value="JavaPOSDiags">
              <PARAM name="type" value="application/x-java-applet;jpi-version=1.3.0">
              <PARAM name="scriptable" value="true">
    </OBJECT>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>
    *Main.htm (HTML containing the IFRAME that loads the applet)<HTML>
    <BODY>
         <iframe id="fxJavaPOS" src="Blank.htm" width=0 height=0 frameborder=0 style="display: none"></iframe>     <!-- Blank.htm is another HTML file that contains a blank document. ->
         <script language=javascript>
              var bAppletLoaded = false;
              function loadApplet() {
                   var eJavaPOSFrame = document.getElementById("fxJavaPOS");
                   if(eJavaPOSFrame != null) {
                        eJavaPOSFrame.src = "Applet.htm";
                        bAppletLoaded = true;
              function testApplet() {
                   if(bAppletLoaded) {
                        var eJavaPOS = document.getElementById("fxJavaPOS").contentWindow;
                        var eJavaPOSApplet = eJavaPOS.document.getElementById("JavaPOSDiags");
                        try {
                             if(eJavaPOSApplet != null) {
                                  //call applet's methods/properties here...
                        } catch(exception) {
                             //an exception occured...
         </script>
         <input type=button id=loadApplet value="Load Applet" onclick="loadApplet()" name=loadApplet>
         <input type=button id=testApplet value="Test Applet" onclick="testApplet()" name=testApplet>
    </BODY>
    </HTML>My problem is, when testApplet() is called, an exception is thrown once the applet reference is compared to null:if(eJavaPOSApplet != null).... I don't know why this happens. When I do remove the comparison statement and just proceed w/ calling the applet's methods/properties, the browser goes crazy. It seems that the line:var eJavaPOSApplet = eJavaPOS.document.getElementById("JavaPOSDiags");gives me an object, but, I'm not sure if it is the applet, because referencing eJavaPOSApplet, e.g. calling methods or comparing to null, causes the browser to hang.
    Could this be a Java security issue?
    Can anyone help me?

    How long does it take to load the same remote image in a browser? (clear the cache first)
    What code are you using to load and wait for the image?
    Have you indentified for certain that the 15s is entirely down to image loading and not anything else?

    Hi, I've created a Web Applet under contact related info. the web applet name is LinkedIn and it displays the content of the web page (linkedin web page). the Web Applet HTML I inserted is:

  • Web Applet passing account Name

    I have created a Web Applet for the Account object with the type = url which links to an external web site. I pass the Account Name as part of the url string. The problem I am having is when an Account Name contains an apostrophe the link does not fire. The website vendor says the problem is with the JavaScript Siebel is using, that the apostrophe has to have an escape "\" before it. Has anyone had this problem before? We are on R15.
    Thanks,

    Support has reported this as bug and submitted a Change Request to development. The workaround is to use a weblink field.

  • Can't display a URL web applet in Double Column

    I've created a URL web applet which displays in the Opportunities homepage. The problem is that the web applet do not displays in double Column, it is only displayed in single column, therefore I only see the half of the applet.
    When I go to Administration/ Application Customization / Opportunities / Web Applets... and change from Single Column to Double and save, it still appears in single column. If I go back to edit the web applet it says : Single column. I don't get it, everytime I change from single to double, CRM OD does not save the changes.

    or
    not, but works ( damn slow )
    What i did was

    3) inlcuded few jar files in archive tag.
    The files i added in archive tag is

    2) weblogicaux.jar ( !!!!!!!!!!!! quite big jar file )
    3) weblogicclass.jar ( jarred all the classes from classes\weblogicfolder

    4) myejb.jar ( suppose to work with home and remote class, but notworking

  • How can I open a saved report in WEBI applet

    Hello -
    We have successfully integrated the BO WEBI applet into our web application, and have created reports using the "Save As" option.  However, we don't seem to have access to these reports.  There does not seem to be an "Open File" or "Open Report" icon in the applet toolbar that we can use to access the reports that we have created and saved.  Is this capability not available in the WEBI?  There also doesn't seem to be an easy-to-find explanation of what we are doing wrong.
    Thank you for any help.

    Ted -
    Thanks for your response.  We tried what you suggested, and it does indeed work for the first document you load.
    However, now I see the effects of not having an Open icon in the applet's toolbar.  So we have a "list widget" in our app from which the user can select a report to load into the applet for viewing or editing.  The way it works, as you suggested, is to provide the doc id and name thru the applet parameters.   So after selecting a document, we rerender (via ajax) the panel that contains the applet, which, of course, causes the applet to completely reload - which is very ugly, clunky, and something that seems unnecessary. (We actually get an error when we try to select another report, telling us that we need to close down the applet and log in again, but this error is beside the point for now.)
    The first sentence of your initial reply was to say that there is no Open method.  By this, were you also implying that there is no java method call in the applet I can make via javascript on the page?  I would really like to be able to load a new document into the applet without having to suffer thru a reload.  Is there any java api exposed for the applet that I can possibly use to load a new document "on the fly"?  I haven't been able to
    Thanks again for any help.

  • Can't re-add printer after removing from eprint center - 'Web Services Problem'

    I have an HP Photosmart Premium C310 series printer (Model Number CN503B) which I have been using with ePrint for about 18 months. Aside from intermittent issues it has worked, I use a chromebook most of the time so rely on the ePrint option via Google Cloud Print.
    Last week it stopped working, with every job in the list showing as cancelled. Following advice on the forum I removed the email address of the printer from the eprint center. I thought it would then be simple to add the printer back. However, I have been unable to connect the printer to the web service so I cannot create the code I need to add the printer back.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Factory reset printer settings
    2. Factory reset network settings
    3. Restart printer and Reboot router
    3. Settings -> Network -> Wireless Setup Wizard
    4. Choose correct SSID, enter password for WPA
    5. ‘Connected to Network’
    6. Settings -> Web -> Enable Web Services
    7. ‘Accept terms’ screen -> Accept
    8. ‘Checking for product updates’ screen shows briefly then returns to 'accept terms' screen
    9. Next it makes a ping sound and shows ‘Web Services Problem’ ‘Problem connecting to Web Services Server’, it then pings again a few seconds later (which ties in with what I see in the network logs as a second attempt)
    10. Log on to printer via web interface and set IP address of printer to manual IP outside DHCP range (as advice on other threads in this forum). Check DNS setting valid (same as gateway server which all other devices on network are also using successfully as DNS)
    11. Repeat steps 6 and 7 - still same error message
    I consider myself technically savvy and have followed all advice I can find on this forum including the following:
    1. reverting to printer and network defaults
    2. rebooting router
    3. assigning static IP address to printer outside of DHCP range of router
    4. connecting to printer via web interface and setting DNS to variously: same as gateway, google DNS (8.8.8.8), ISP DNS
    5. adjusting firewall settings on router to explicitly allow and log outbound connection on the HP ports (already had a rule allowing all outbound connections)
    As mentioned, the printer worked fine with ePrint previously so I suspect the ePrint server is rejecting a request from my printer for some reason, maybe because there is old / corrupt  data on the server regarding my specific printer.
    I’m logging outbound traffic from the printer and here are what the router logs show me (printer IP replaced with 192.168.x.x below, even though it is not public )

    Looks like both are HP sites: first is 'g4t2674.houston.hp.com' and the second secure one is ‘registration-pro-site2eprint.houston.hp.com’ which sound likely to be correct. That suggests the DNS is working but that the registration server doesn’t like the request for some reason.
    I had the printer registered for Google Cloud Print but I have now deleted that also and it doesn’t seem to have made any difference (assume it just formats and forwards to the HP ePrint email anyway).
    One hack that sheds some further light is to switch off wifi on the printer and then switch on ePrint. Eprint gives an error but stays set as 'on'. When I then switch wifi back on I can then at least check for product updates (it tells me I have the latest product updates). However, web services are still a 'no go'. Network traffic for that product update exchange looks like this:

    So clearly the printer can communicate to those servers well enough to find it has the latest firmware.
    I realise this is a lot of information but hopefully some of it is helpful for troubleshooting.
    Thank you in advance for any help!

    The issue disappeared this weekend. I didn't change anything so it must have been something server side. I notice others with the same issue have also seen it resolved.
    Thanks to all those who contributed and tried to help out. Although disappointed I went for a long time without ePrint I'm glad that action was apparently taken to resolve in the end.

  • Web Applet Report that creates email for Opportunity Details

    Hi,
    I'm trying to create a report that creates an opportunity detail report. My Web applet works. The only issue is the HTML tags show up in the email, instead of formatting the narrative fields.
    Any input is appreciated.
    Regards,
    Jo Ann

    Were you able to at least insert column values into the email (subject line, body)? I've got this to work in the Custom Text Format field of a user's email column:
    @[html]<**a href="mailto:"@"?subject=Good%20Morning">@<**/a>
    (Ignore the asterisks)
    It does popup a blank email with the user's email in the To: line but what I want to do is pull in other column values from the record into the subject line and body of the email. How do I do that?

  • Global Web Applets and My Custom Home Page Report

    Hello,
    I setup a custom "My Home Page Report" which is great but does not display the report when you load the home page without clicking the "Generating analysis... Click here to view the results" link. Is there a way around this?
    I then setup a a Global Web Applet and embedded this on the main home page. When doing this I found you cannot have 1 section that spans the entire width of the page as you can with a report (To my knowledge?). I then tried putting two Custom Web Applets side by side to display the graph and report I wanted. This works however, I have vertical scroll bars although the reports are perfectly displayed and do not require any scrolling. Is there a way to get rid of the scroll bars?
    Regards

    Innoveer, you can contact customer care and ask them to provision your On Demand application with the custom homepage "Execute Report Immediately" option. However, you want to make sure that this custom report loads quickly - if not it will delay the loading of your homepage.
