Web Logic classpath for projects???

I have a project that needs a first level class (i mean, outside packages) and
i don't know where to put it in order to be saw for all the JSPs

Copy the Jsp support classes to the WEB-INF/classes directory.

ChaRM:Logical Components for Projects

Hi Experts,
I have done ChaRM config and i am about to create logical components for the project Project.
I have below two questions please help.
While creating a logical component when i have multiple clients in DEV, QAS and PRD how to proceed and second question is about RFC Users in satellite systems.
1) My ECC landscape have DEV ->100, 200, 300, 400, QAS-> 100, 200, 300, PRD-> 100, 200 with multiple clients.
So while creating logical component do i need mention all clients in the logical component or its enough if i mention DEV->100, QAS->100, PRD->100 ?
If i mention only one client in logical component how transports will move to other clients in DEV, QAS and PRD. Please help.
2) Second question is do we need to create READ, TMW, back rfc users in all clients for DEV, QAS and PRD for above ECC landscape ?

Yes, you can have this TMS track defined and use SCC1 for performing imports within the system (like QAS 100 to QAS 200 ). Or use the Tranport Target Group option so that your TR is visible in import queue of all system. More info Extended Transport Control (SAP Library - BC Change and Transport Organizer)

Yes, you need RFCs b/w your working client (100 ) and 000 client of domain controller. Not for all clients.

Start Web Logic 5.1 in a separate JVM

Hi All.
Is there a way to start Web Logic 5.1 in a separate JVM from within a java class.
I am writing a service pack for a Web Logic application. During the service pack
uninstall, I have to stop web logic, delete the new files, restore old files and
restart web logic.
For restarting, I am using a JNI call to invoke the web logic startup class. This
runs in its own java.exe process. But even after the uninstaller's java.exe quits,
the java.exe that is running web logic holds a lock on to the folder from where
the uininstaller was launched.
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Is there a solution to this issue?

In your function that you call with JNI, before you launch the new WebLogic
process, you should set the current working directory to the WebLogic
directory and everything will work fine.
I have no explanation for why the directory remains locked.

What do these errors mean ? Web Logic

I am attempting to start Web Logic Server, and Web Logic Server for my application installed on my machine. I get the following errors, completely new to web Logic so I don't know what they mean. But it seems to be a privelege issue related to the admin account. Please note that I have in no way changed any settings to my admin account recently, nor my password or anything. Everything was working fine for a week until yesterday, and I can't think of anything I have changed. Any input is appreciated. Highlighted the main errors in bold.

Create adaptive web service model for a web dynpro project

I have been trying to create a new new adaptive web service model for a web dynpro project.I am using the URL of the wsdl file to create the model. I have copied the url link of the wsdl from the overview tab of the web services navigator. The web service works fine when tested through the Netweaver Navigator. This web service has also been used successfully through the Visual Composer. But when I try to create a model for this web service URL, when I click the Next button after entering the URL in the model creation wizard step 4 , I get "Error loading wsdl file. I was able to successfully import the model after I did the following
1. Re intsall Studion (same version , same build)
2. Reset the proxy settings to not use Proxy server

Logical Components for a project

Hi,
We have ECC6.0 on which we have applied the Enhancement Package 2.0.
While trying to create a project in solution manager for the Business Sceario we selected it is requiring Logical component for SAP ERP Enhance Package.
While trying to create the SAP ERP Enhance Package logical component we are not able to find any systems to attach under that even though we have maintained installed product versions as both SAP ECC / SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE 2005.2. in the system defintion of our development system.
We tried to put SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE 2005.2 as leading product version even then we are not able to pickup that system under the SAP Enhance package Logical component.
Please suggest.

Hi,
In SMSY under landscape components select your system and go to Header Data Tab. Click on Installed Product version. Then select the check box Free Product/Select product Version.
Then you can find your product there. This will solve your problem.

I'm trying to use the PS2013's capability for generate SSAS Cubes; but after I execute
the steps described on “Configure OLAP cubes for Project Web App (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj943761.asp)” the only thing
achieved is that the state being "Processing…" and the log:

Seems like an error occurred during site collection provisioning with the project server features. The provisioning process was interrupted from a system error and doesn't recovered after system restart.
I just created and provisioned a new site collection and everything is working now.

Configure Logical Address for Web Applications-Hyperion 11.1.2

I have f5 load balancer infront of two foundation servers and I have not yet configured the Logical address for web applications with Loadbalancer DNS name/hostnmae. I can access all of web applications through Load Balanced URL. Do I Still need to configure Logical Web Address for web applications ?

To add to this part of the reason for load balancing is usually to support high availability (in addition to scalability). Without that logic address being setup you will find certain configuration items are pointed to one server or another and if that one server is brought down it impacts key functionality of the whole environment.
You should consider a test of the infrastructure by purposely bringing down services and/or servers to ensure you still have a fully working environment with the other redundant components. This test may take half a day to several days to really go through a full regression test of key features while taking key pieces down.

How to establish WS Security for BPEL processes running on Web Logic

We are running SOA Suite 10.1.3.4 on Web Logic Server 9.2.
I have built BPEL processes and now want to implement WS Security for them, "Wssp1.2-Wss1.0-UsernameToken-Plain-X509-Basic256.xml" in particular. Have been researching but could not find any document for a Web Logic scenario; can any of you please give me some directions or blogs which might be helpul.

Single Sign on for 2 Web Applications deployed on Web Logic Server

We want to implement single sign on for our application.
We want to deploy 2 applications(JSF/ADF) on web logic server say
webapp1 and webapp2.
If user already logged into webapp1 with valid userid and password and
then he access the link for webapp2 he should not be asked to provide
the credential details userid and password.
How we can implement this
1. If user credentials are maintained/authenticated against LDAP
2. If user maintained/authenticated are from database

DBMS based custom login module for ADF 11g on Web Logic Server (10.3.1.0)

We have the requirement of creating a login page, wherein the authentication is performed against users records stored in a specific table in Oracle Database. The ADF 11g developer guide does not provide any example to accomplish the same. Though there are numerous examples of achieving the same using OC4J, but there is none available to achieve this on Web Logic Server. Do we have any documentation or information available on this?

JRMC remote monitoring for web logic not working

I am using Oracle 1031, and JRMC version 3.0.5. I have added following option to startWebLogic.cmd - JAVA_OPTIONS=”-Djava.rmi.server.hostname=host -Xmanagement:ssl=false,authenticate=true,autodiscovery=true,port=7091 export JAVA_OPTIONS"
I am able to see my weblogic JVM when I open JRMC in local and it is seen under Discovered --> Local. When i make a new connection in Local JRMC, it throws an exception - JAVA_OPTIONS=”-Djava.rmi.server.hostname=swperfap02 -Xmanagement:ssl=false,authenticate=true,autodiscovery=true,port=7091 export JAVA_OPTIONS"
Other than this, I am trying to access this JVM from a remote machine and it shows error "Unable to connect"
Please note that machine where web logic runs is in a different network compared to remote machine.
Can you please let me know what is wrong?

Yes i made authentication false.

On the local I am able to see this JVM under JDP and able to make a new connection to it also.

Configuring Web Logic for ODI console problem

I following the instruction from here

After installing the Weblogic 12.1.1.0 , I came to the configure wizard which run from

then the wizard screen appears
but the component of my installation only has

Basic Weblogic SIP Server Domain - 12.1.1.0

WebLogic Advanced Web Services for JAX-WS Extension - 12.1.1.0
In the document has much more option
such as
oracle enterprise manager plugin for ODI

Am I missing something at the installation .
because i already checked all the component for Web Logic and ODI

According to your description, my understanding is that if all DHCP servers in site A are down, DHCP server in site B may provide DHCP service for clients in site A.
Since you have Windows Server 2012 R2 as DHCP server, you may try to configure DHCP Failover with Hot Standby Mode between DHCP servers in site A & B.
DHCP failover in Windows Server 2012/2012 R2 provides support for a maximum of two DHCP servers. It means that one failover relationship has 2 DHCP server as each other’s partner. But it does not mean one DHCP server can only has one partner. One DHCP server
may be configured with multi failover relationships and each failover relationship has one partner.
