Web service proxy generation validation failed - two declarations collision
Hi,
I'm creating a JAX-WS web service proxy against a web service with very complex payload. When I point the wizard to the WSDL, during the analysis, it throws an error,
Error creating model from wsdl "<mywsdl>": (Related to above error) This is the other declaration. Two declarations cause a collision in the ObjectFactory class.
Any pointers? How can I troubleshoot such error?

Web Service Proxy Generation from tModel
Hello,
I have created a Business (Web) Service in the UDDI supplied with the NW04s Java Stack SP06, under a new Business Entity. I have also created multiple tModels each corresponding to unique Web Service Descriptions (WSDs) of the same Web Service. I have linked two of the tModels to the Business Service created above.
Now using the NW Dev Studio I generate a Deployable Proxy for a single tModel of the Business Service. However this does not create a Logical Port definition and so I am unable to call the service with it. I go in to create a New Logical Port in the Proxy and the only viable option in the wizard is to supply the WSDL of the Business Service. But, when I do this it completely regenerates the proxy. Is there any way to prevent this? What is the benefit of having unique tModels if you can consume only the WSD you want to through a particular proxy?
I hope someone has tried this before me and can supply some useful answers. SAP Help Documentation pretty much draws a blank so I am not sure where to look.
Thanks,
Murtaza.Hi Murtaza,
Was your issue resolved?
Kindly update.

Hi @all,
i would like to consume a web service with the adaptive webdynpro model, but the proxy generation fails. Attached you will find the log file of the NWDS:

Consuming Web Service - Proxy Generation Terminated
Hello all,
I have recently been exploring the capabilities of consuming Web Services from ABAP and have run into some issues.
When I generate the Client Proxy from different WSDL files, I am frequently getting these two errors:
<i>Proxy generation terminated: "mixed content" not supported</i>
<i>Proxy generation terminated: WSDL error (<extension> not supported)</i>
Is this just a limitation of ABAP? If I get these errors, is there any way to use the Web Service?
Thanks in advance!Hi, had the same issue. try to rename the file to .xml ending.

Consuming 3rd Party Web Service - Proxy Generation Error
Hi All,
I am trying to consume a third party Web Service in SE80 and get the below error while completing the steps to configure proxy class.
"Exception Occurred in Configuration Handler"
Uninstantiated object "new child subject" in method
IF_SRT_WSP_SUBJECT_SERVICE~CREATE_BINDING of class CL_SRT_WSP_SUBJECT_SERVICE
The same web service when I try to import in Java it is fine. Has anyone encountered this issue?
Note: I tried both using URL and also saving as local file and its the same error message.
Thanks,
Nagarajan.
The Question is still open.
Edited by: Nagarajan Kumarappan on Oct 10, 2011 9:40 AMThe problem we had was with the web service itself. There were in multiple places we had few definitions repeated which caused the issue. Once we removed it we were good. Use altova xml free for 30 days to check your wsdl. It's great tool to identify issues.
Thanks and good luck !!! -
Web Service Proxy with Dynamic IP and Port
hi,
I am currently looking at the Web Service Proxy generation in JDev 11g. I can generate proxies fine, but the proxies are generated with static host and port. I want to substitute the host and port during runtime if required, for instance read the values from a database. I need to do this to avoid compiling the application for every deployment we make dev, test and production. Is there an easy way to set the generated proxy host and port? Are there any examples?
Thanks in advance!
StephenHi,
Maybe you should have a look on XML Catalogs feature, but I am not sure if JDeveloper support it and how to support it.

Error when generating Web Services Proxy for SCA Application Module
Hello,
I'm trying to create Web Services for a simple Application Module with JDeveloper 11g (11.1.1.3.0).
I start a new ADF Project, I create an Application Module as simple as possible : it contains only a simple View Object on the DEPT Entity.
On my Application Module, I choose "Service Interface" and I add my View Object in the service interface.
I test my Web Service in the Embedded Weblogic Server, it works well. (I succeed in using the Get operation, for example).
But when I try to generate a Web Service proxy (right-click on the WSDL File -> Generate Web Service Proxy), It always fail with such errors :
oracle.jdeveloper.webservices.tools.WsdlValidationException: Error creating model from wsdl "file:/C:/JDeveloper/mywork/ApplicationAppelServiceSCA/Model/src/model/common/AppModuleService.wsdl": 'unset' is already defined'Bytes' is already defined'ref' is already defined'Duration' is already defined'Types' is already defined'Character' is already defined'type' is already defined'Day' is already defined'nestedInterfaces' is already defined'Date' is already defined'datagraph' is already defined'Type' is already defined'Integer' is already defined'ModelsType' is already defined'ChangeSummaryType' is already defined'instanceClass' is already defined'Month' is already defined'DataObject' is already defined'javaClass' is already defined'LongObject' is already defined'DateTime' is already defined'dataObject' is already defined'YearMonth' is already defined'ShortObject' is already defined'Long' is already defined'types' is already defined'JavaInfo' is already defined'IntObject' is already defined'Boolean' is already defined'DoubleObject' is already defi...
Can someone help me to understand this error ?
i never manually edited the WSDL File, so I don't understand why the generated WSDL or XSD files might contain errors.
Thanks for your Help,
LaurentWe have the same problem, and the problem was in the xsd import:
The wdsl import a schema that import other schema, the second import use a relative path, that was wrong.
So check the xsd import sequence.... -
OER: Generate Web Service Proxy REX in JDeveloper
Hi,
I want to generate a Web Service Proxy for REX (OER version 11.1.1.5.0) using JDeveloper 11.1.1.5.0. I am using JAX-RPC Weblogic Style. When I start the Web Service Proxy Generator it fails with the following error:
"The WSDL document contains the following errors:
Operation "assetTypeTabsRead" and "assetTabApprove" have conflicting SOAPAction avlues. Do not overload any operation or given unique SOAPAction value to each operation binding.
And many more (42481) ...."
I am looking for the correct way to generate a Service Proxy foor REX and JDeveloper. Any help is appreciated.

Validation Failed when creating Web Service Proxy
Hi
I am having trouble creating a web service proxy in JDeveloper (11.1.1.3). When I enter the endpoint URL (which is a https WSDL file). I get the following error:
No WSDL document could be found at https://host:port/.../.././...wsdl.
I can open the WSDL in SOAP UI and it accesses it fine and I can call the service within.
When I put it in a browser I need to enter the authentication details before I can view the WSDL.
But I can't get to the next step in the Web Service Proxy wizard, I've had a look in the threads before an couldn't find any help.
Is there anyone who can help me with this?
Regards
SaheemThanks John but unfortunatly that didn't help.
I removed the proxy but the WSDL was still not found I also added the host to the Proxy exceptions list and switched the proxy back on but this did not work either.
I also tried the method in the link you provided. But I get an error when attempting to create a Web Service Dasta Control too. The error I get here is:
DCA-40002: The WSDL document is invalid due to the following reason: WSDl Exception: faultCode=PARSER_ERROR: Failed to read wsdl file at: "https://../../..wsdl", caused by javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException. :........... -
I have created a Web Service Proxy project in Jdev using BI Publisher 11.1.1.5.0 WSDL (ReportService). Generated ReportService_Service method uses following QName to get the port:
namespaceURI = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/service/v2"
localPart = "*v2/ReportService*"
Reports are generated successfully via Web Services when using BI Publisher 11.1.1.5.0 but when I use BI Publisher 11.1.1.6.x, it fails with this exception:
+'javax.el.ELException: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: {http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/service/v2}v2/ReportService is not a valid port. Valid ports are: {http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/service/v2}ReportService'+
I noticed that if the Web Service Proxy project is created using BI Publisher 1.1.1.1.6.0 WSDL (ReportService), the generated ReportService_Service method uses following QName to get the port:
namespaceURI = "http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/service/v2"
localPart = "*ReportService*"
We are supporting both 11.1.1.5.0 and 11.1.1.6.x, so is there a way to make it work with both.
FYI, I have tried removing v2 but then it only works with 11.1.1.6.0 and fails with 11.1.1.5.0.
+Caused By: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: {http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/service/v2}ReportService is not a valid port. Valid ports are: {http://xmlns.oracle.com/oxp/service/*v2}v2/*ReportService+Dear,
found the solution (after trying last 1-2 days ...).
I was already using java 1.7 update 7.
I had to start java settings and to deselect Java 1.7.0_07.
Instead I selected latest Java version from Apple: 1.6.0_35-b10-428.
With these settings the installer finishes without crash.
Kind regards

Validation error while creating Web Service Proxy.
Hi,
I'm trying to create Web Service Proxy. But I'm stuck with a Validation error
model error: type

+org.w3c.dom.Document" not found.+
I'm using "Create Web Service Proxy" wizard. There are 6 steps in creating proxy through JDev. wizard.
First step itself displaying the above validation error when I click on "Next" button.
Few points
We have created web service using "oracle.j2ee.ws.StatelessJavaRpcWebService" servlet
Thanks in advance.
-SukumarHi,
It might be that the .net service which you have is not WS-I compliant. Can you first run WS-I Analyzer on the wsdl to see it the test passes.

Deployment is failing on creating web service proxy in portlet.
Hi All,
I am using a JDeveloper 11.1.1.2.0.
1) I have created a application (portlet producer application), which contains few jsf pages (not jspx).
2) I have added a web service proxy ( using New>Business tier>Web services>web service proxy, provided a wsdl) for accesing a service which is exposed on different server.
The above combination works perfectly fine.
But When I convert the JSF pages to portlet (right click on JSF page and select create portlet entry option), and tried to run it throws following error.
Note: soainvgpkg is the package which is generated when I create a web service proxy.
It is generated under application resources.

Hi,
I have to develope a Web Service proxy client to invoke a web service on SSL. First I'm testing with OC4J 10.1.3.1 and JDEV 10.1.3.1 and did this:
1) Developed a basic PL/SQL Web Service with JDEV and publish on my standalone OC4J.
2) Made a test with a browser, it worked OK
3) Generated a proxy client from JDev 10.1.3.1 to invoke web service, it worked OK
--- Now make it work on SSL----
4) Then, added SSL configuration to oc4j , generated a certificate with keytool (updated server.xml, secure-web-site.xml), and shutting down and starting the OC4j instance.
5) Import the certificate to JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/security/cacerts
6) Test web service from browser on https and worked OK.
7) When tried to modified proxy client (generated in step 3) to make it work on SSL, I realized that just changing the END_POINT to the new url (https) it worked!
Questions----
1.- By default the proxy client generated from JDEV 10.1.3.1 knows how to deal with SSL conections?
2.- If I dont have previously the server certificate to import it into JAVA keystore (cacerts) how could I ,from proxy client code, capture it and import it before the validation occurs... because if the certificate is not in keystore , the program fails.
Thanks in advance
J.Hi,
Could you please provide me with the steps necessary to create a web service proxy client through JDeveloper or any other mechanism when 2 way SSL (requiring client authentication) is enabled.
Thanks a lot in advance

The error is mostly there may be some Duplicate variable/schema element decalared in the wsdl or the xsd referred in the wsdl. Like in WSDL for any Operations, most of the times, we use input and outputs as complex xsd element. We declare these xsd in the same file or in another file and import that in the .wsdl file. So check or validate your XSD file for any Duplicates.
In JDeveloper itself, I think, you can open XSD or WSDL and validate it from right click menu options like that.
