Web URL - Variable input not working

Hi There,
I have got following URL for one of my web application -
http://cccbwde1.xxx.com:8120/sap/bw/BEx?sap-language=EN&CMD=LDOC&INFOCUBE=ZSC_O01&QUERY=QZSC_O01_5002_TEST
and it works fine. It has got a few variables and as parameter passing I would like to pass on default value to variable.
Say one of the variable used is S_plant and supply default value 6011 to it, my new URL looks like
http://cccbwde1.xxx:8120/sap/bw/BEx?sap-
language=EN&CMD=LDOC&INFOCUBE=ZSC_O01&QUERY=QZSC_O01_5002_TEST*&VARIABLE_SCREEN=X&

problem I am facing is that it does not show and default value while displaying variable entry screen. Please suggest.

Hi Vikash,
there is a possibility to modify WAD applications by using parameters to call Web applications ([SAP Help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/43/ef05462480025ae10000000a1553f7/content.htm]). Just tried it with
a dummy query on our system and it works for queries which are executed directly from Query Designer as well.
Just give it a try like this extension:
&BI_COMMAND_1-BI_COMMAND_TYPE=SET_VARIABLES_STATE
&BI_COMMAND_1-VARIABLE_VALUES-VARIABLE_VALUE_1-VARIABLE_TYPE=VARIABLE_INPUT_STRING

SharedServices and Workspace URL's are not working in EPM System 11.1.2.2
I have installed EPM system V11.1.2.2 in single server environment (MS 2008 Server R2) with following components:
* Foundation Services
* HFM
* FDM
Have used embedded Weblogic server as application web server and Oracle HTTP server as web server. The installation was successful.
While configuration,
1) I selected the option to deploy web applications SharedServices and Workspace to a single managed server. The applications got successfully deployed to EPMServer0.
2) Also, I selected to configure Oracle HTTP server as web server.
Both these steps were successful.
But SharedServices and Workspace URL's are not working. Getting 404 error.
SharedServices : http://inmum01hyp05.internal.vodafone.com:19000/interop/index.jsp
Workspace : http://inmum01hyp05.internal.vodafone.com:19000/workspace/
When I checked Weblogic admin console, EPMServer0 is in SHUTDOWN state, tried to start it but it goes in ADMIN state instead of RUNNING.
Checked EPMServer0 log at "D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\EPMServer0\logs" and found the error given at the end of this message.
Can anyone please suggest a solution for this.

today's update:
* Uninstalled EPM system V11.1.2.2 completely and after rebooting the server installed EPM system V11.1.2.2 again.
* During configuration, deployed SharedServices and Workspace to single managed server EPMServer0 on Weblogic server and configured to Oracle HTTP server as web server. Configuration seems successful.
* Started EPM system.
* checked Weblogic admin console - EPMServer0 goes into ADMIN state from STARTING.
* Checked EPMServer0 logs at "D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\EPMServer0\logs" and found the error given below:

Does using self-signed cert. on ISE server has anthing to do with url redirect being not working

Hi,
I am setting up wired ISE environment. Everything is going fine, except url redirect is not working.
I just wondering, if using self-signed certificate on ISE server has anothing to do with the problem ?.

Hi,
As long as you have not changed the hostname or the domain name (and dns is accurate). You should only receive the certificate warning but still get redirected without any issues.

Variable Text not working as dynamic header in Crystal report

Dear Experts,
I'm working Crystal report that connected to Query BEX SAP BW trough SAP integration kit,
currently i have case that need report dynamic header using variable text from BEX query, but seem the variable text not working in Crystal reports. the header in Crystal report shown as Desription\technical name, not result from the variable text in Query BEX in SAP.
In https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/BOBJ/Crystal%20Reports%20and%20BW%20query%20elements stated that the "Text variable" with "replacement path" is supported, but i don't know in my query is not working.
i already set in Database -> options-> table and fields -> Show Both, but the text variable still not working.

Did you try everything here:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
Then try a different computer to help determine if yo have an IPod or computer problem.

Line-in input not working correctly in Garageband

Problem:
Line-in input not working correctly with Garageband. Problem occurred AFTER installing and using Blue Yeti USB mic, purchased from the Apple store.
System Details:
'07 20" iMac 2.4GHz 4GB RAM, OSX 10.6.5, Garageband '11 v6.0, Logitech Z4 speakers.
Background:
Before using the Yeti USB mic, I used the line-in jack. I'd connect a Shure mic or guitars directly in, but more recently through a 12 channel mixer. Have connected the Shure mic directly into the input jack, and the computer appears to be picking it up (System Preferences->Sound->Input), it is responding correctly there. Have set the output to the headphone (line-out) jack. When I go into Garageband, I can select from Line-in 1, Line-in 2, and Line-in Stereo. The trouble is that it's the iMac's built-in mic that is active (the one above the screen), not the line-in. I've rebooted the computer, checked the connections, reconnected the Yeti mic and I can't find what's causing the problem. Not sure what to do from here, need some help. Thanks

I have Logic Express on the iMac as well and I worked out how to set the input device back to the Line-In. I went back to Garageband and found the equivalent setting under Preferences->Audio/MIDI. Thanks for reading, sorry I didn't sort it out sooner! Merry Christmas!

We have connected our 9i db with Sybase db using Hs connectivity.
and then we have create the view in oracle db for SYBASE_TABLE as SYBASE_TABLE_VIEW.
ALL THE INSERT, UPDATE AND DELETE COMMANDS ARE WORKING BUT THE
select Into (variable) is not working.
Please help to resolve the select into statment which is in BOLD in the below routine

Bad URL fix does not work

Bad url fix does not work, Skype still crashes when this string has been sent to group chat. People on the group chat are unable to load up Skype properly.

REST Web Service Output Parameter not working in POST Handler

I've created a RESTful Web Service in Oracle Apex, using a POST method as "handler". I've setup 11 input parameters which all work fine, it is my one output parameter that does not return successfully.

The actual source is a call to a pl/sql package that returns a value that I set :returns equal to (eg :returns := v_result). I've tried this with Source Type Header and still the same result, 'no output'.
I see APEX is calling wwv_flow_api.create_restful_param to generate the parameters (for importing), is there any documentation on this procedure?
How can I get this output parameter to return something in the response?
The request accepts a Json payload.

Exchange Office Web Apps Preview Does not work in OWA (web)

I have setup Exchange 2013, Lync 2013, SharePoint 2013, IIS as a Reverse Proxy Server, an Office Web Apps Server, etc, etc. Everything is setup to use SSl (https) and everything works great EXCEPT... Office Web Apps... and ONLY via Exchange and OWA (exchange
browser-based access).
I can login via the intranet or Internet for everything (SharePoint, Outlook, and Lync) and Office Web apps functionality works flawlessly for all... except for Exchange and OWA.
If I login in to a web-based Exchange seeion, everything works right and I can see the various attachments.
For all other scenarios, Office Web Apps works (SharePoint, Outlook, Lync, etc), but in owa (web version of Outlook) I see that Office Web Apps is triggered (I see the Office Web Apps text and the dots that indicate something is loading)... However, it just
crashes and eventually times out (see image):
If I look in the error logs for the Web Apps Server I see this:
Essentially, it looks like that owa uses a distinctly different path to load the attachments into the Web Apps Server such that the file is not found!
What is happening? Why does Exchange OWA (web version of Outlook) somehow use a different path that fails to locate attachments in Office Web Apps, but Lync, Outlook, and SharePoint (both in Intranet and Internet) work perfectly?
This is VERY frustrating. Can anyone help?

Clearly, the reverse proxy is working, the certificates are working, OAuth is working, etc. It seems there must be some variable/path that is only defined in Exchange for OWA that uses a different path for Office Web App attachments and that path is WRONG!

Web Cam applet is not working in great consistency

Hi... My video capturing applet is not working very well.
The image stream is displayed on the web page in JPEG format with 0.5 quality. However, it crashes after a while and the it does not release the vfw resource.
I have to restart my machine in order to execute it again.
Can anyone please help?

Url variable doesn't work in IE

Hey guys, my page, www.powerhouse.com/Products/Inventory.php I have a bunch of links that reload the page with a url variable. If FF 3, this works fine, yet in IE 8 the page does not load. My error log has the following error:
script '/var/www/powerhouse/public_html/Products/inventory.php' not found or unable to stat
what stupid IE Hack do I need to get this to work?

You don't need any IE hack. I have just tested the page in both FF and IE8. It works just fine in both.
However, it's very noticeable from your error log that it refers to inventory.php (all lowercase), whereas the actual page is Inventory.php (initial cap). The other thing that's noticeable is the path, which indicates your server is running on Linux, which is case-sensitive.
From this, I conclude that you originally coded the page using inventory.php, and later updated it. This suggests that IE8 is probably still using a cached version. Clear your cache, and the problem will probably go away.

Wecam and USB mic input not working after upgrade to Lion

The audio inputs (micraphones) all show up in Syetem Preferences but if I talk into the microfones (on USB soundcard/Trust Webcam) no levels are being shown, I have tried clicking on eatch input it turh but n luck.
I am getting the impresion Lion broke lots of audio atuff so dont hold up mutch hope for a solution (Except upgrading to Snow Leperd).

Beginning with Leopard, Mac OS X supports the so-called UVC web-cameras, you do not need any driver for them. I have just bought a small, pretty and cheap one, Logitech C110.
My older Genius 1321 is unfortunately unusable from SL onwards, but works with Tiger and Leopard. It is not UVC, and drivers are not available any more.
conclusion: if your camera is not UVC will not work via ‘plug-and-use’, you need an updated driver, check with the manufacturer. If they do not offer any, buy a UVC one, they are very cheap, but you do not need anything. The one I have just bought works fine, and also has internal mic.

Flash Variable is not working in Ipad

Hi Experts,
I'm facing with an issue, could you please suggest me your valuable suggestions.
I have created Two dashboard (Example names A1 and B1), I need to open the dashboard B1 without asking credentials, when I select an Image in A1.
To work in such a way, I have created a flash variable and pointed the range to cell J1.
I have placed a URL button on top of image in Dashboard A1. I have copied following URL in a cell, and this URL I have pointed to URL Button.

Opening B1 dashboard from A1 is working fine in desktop and in Android tab, but it is not working in Ipad. Not working in Ipad in the sense a new browser window is opening with empty page.
I have tested in another way like, passing opendocID and Flash variable to the URL button, It is working fine in Ipad but asking for the credentials.
Experts could you please suggest me some solution.
Ipad is Ipad2 and BO Version is 4.1 SP4.

Concatenating a string in a URL syntax does not work (syntax error)

I am trying to print a Report in PDF format. The code is:

GLOBAL_URL should carry the value ( a sring) ----> http://oasdev.oh.gov.
Therefore I changed it to the following code:

When you do a select, you need to select into a variable..
select ' Print PDF Version of the report ' url INTO <Variable>from dual
Are you trying to run an Oracle Report from APEX??
