i need your help!
We make webservice calls to sap me with our own software.
We connect to our software via SSL and certificates e.g. https://host:50001/XMII/CM/POD/MEDialogsWeb.irpt
At the beginning the software runs without any problems and than we become the following message on all our webservice:

if we restart the software after the error display, the webservice call runs successfully again.
is it a timeout?
can anybody help us?

Hi,
the authentication for the second call is failing. Have you tried suggest log level from note 880896 - Web Service authentication failure? I would also try to use something like SoapUI to test if the issue is caused by your application or something wrong on SAP side. Also coparing messages for the first and second calls might give you answer.

Everytime I run it I get nothing.

Both just take me to the prompt with no info.

Repeated 'Call Failed' despite 2 iPhones and 3 sims

I've had my iPhone for about 48 hours now and am in need of any and all suggestions about what to do with disconnects.
As a preface, I previously used a Palm Treo 680 for the past year (6 months in the current town). After losing that phone, I went with the iPhone as a replacement. The night of the purchase, and before installing any apps, I experienced the 3 beeps and 'call failed' message when talking to two friends - one on an iPhone; the other on Verizon. I had talked to both before without problems on the Treo. I had another call fail the following day and took the iPhone to a nearby ATT store for a SIM change. That night, I thought all was well but, about 10 minutes into a call with the friend with the iPhone, I got another 'call failed'. Today, I went to the Apple store and was quickly given a new iPhone at the Genius bar. Thought all was well again as a call on the way home went well. Was just speaking again with the friend in Florida on an iPhone and the call failed after about 12 minutes. I have the latest firmware and made sure that 'send caller id' was enabled.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

Since then, I have used the iPhone in a more 'real world' way. I found that I really don't 'need' 3G very much at all. I have left the phone on Edge and used WiFi at home, in the office and, today, at the YMCA. Who knew wifi had grown to be so ubiquitous? Anyway, I'll keep testing out the phone capabilities and use 3G as needed on weekends. At least I can't complain about battery life now
If this keeps up, I will contact ATT about the network. I realize now that my Treo was never on the 3G network as I had not enabled a data plan....

Connect - SSL and certificate chain

is it possible to place a certificate chain somewhere, so
that Adobe connect users dont have to manually install the

using hardware SSL and encountered an issue with our cert. We ended
up changing the cert chain on the F5, I believe. I'm not sure of
the "how" other than to know we did it with hardware SSL, so it
should be possible.

PSE 9 install fails during Shared Technologies and rolls back

I've bought and am getting fed up with trying and failing to install PSE9.
It fails during the install of 'Shared Technologies and rolls back.
I've unpacked the logs as per instructions and the error messages at the end are:
- 0 fatal error(s), 5 error(s), 3 warning(s)

I've looked through the forums for possible causes:
1) Adobe Bridge process running in background - according to task manager, the only Adobe process running relates to Flash
2) Path problems - I've moved the install files and re-extracted them to a folder in C: with the same results.
I then tried installing the loganalyser but that failed as well!
I have attached the compressed log file.
I am riunning Win 7 Home Premium (x64)

After update to 5.1 iPhone 4 called failed during calls

So, after I updated to ios 5.1 my iPhone 4 has some problems I never kinda seen before. I own it for more than a year . While at home or any other area, good signal,has a bumper, while speaking with friends I get the Called failed problem. Tried reset network settings, even I restored the firmware ... same . Happens a few times a day..

SHMAT( ) call failed during database creation

I am new to Linux, but have installed and administered Oracle on other Unix platforms. After I have completed the installation, and I am about to run the first database creation script, oracle connects internal and then tries to attach itself to the shared memory segments, and then chokes and I get this error:
ORA 27123 unable to attach to shared memory segment
followed by
LINUX ERROR 22 Invalid Argument
oerr yields:
CAUSE: shmat() call failed
ACTION: check permission on segment, contact Oracle support.
I ran ipcs on Linux, and there were no shared memory segments to report on. Is there some other way to see the permissions on shared memory in Linux. Like I said, I am very new to this OS, so any help is appreciated. If you have overcome this problem could you contact me via email at [email protected] I've never had a harder time installing Oracle than on Linux. I though this Linux thing was supposed to be the next big thing. It is about as friendly as a porcupine with hemmorhoids!!

I dont know what you can do instead of trying to install it again.
I have installed Oracle Database 10g Express Edition on my XP laptop but seems not to be able to manage the Database in any way...
It would be nice with a simple manual for configuring the installation.

Web Service (SSL) and certificates (keytool) with INternet Explorer

Hi,
Followed this steps http://www.grallandco.com/blog/archives/2006/10/using_htts_with.html to have a secure SSL WEb service (with client authorization).
Tested from Jdeveloper it worked O.K.
Now I would like to test it with Internet explorer, but now server ask for certificate before internet show parameters page to invoke Web Service.
I generated self signed certificates and keystore using keytool. (This keystore is used by the OC4J and my proxy client).
Imported this certificate (.cer) to internet explorer succesfully, but when access URL for the web service (https) internet does not show this certificate to use it, so failed to connect...
keytool certificates could be used by INternet explorer for this purposes?, what am I doing wrong?

I already configured HTTPS - client authenticate for OC4J, and you can work with follow step:
1: Create keystore for OC4J by java keytool
2: Using openssl to create certificate for your server (privatekey, certificate)
3. Using keytool to import your server's certificate (2) to keystore (1)
4. Generate client certificate (4)
5. Sign on client certificate (4) by privatekey and server certificate (20
6. Import client certificate to windows - (should create keystore with format pkcs12)
You can using "Java Certificate Services" to help you create keystore with multi format or sign cert....

ActionScript 3: WebService calls failing

Hi guys,
I am working on a Flash CS3/AS3 application that calls a server-side web service to retrieve/update data in the database. The code is simple and it works
great. However, some users are reporting that while browsing through this Flash application their web service calls are failing and thus no data gets
stored in the database. I am assuming probably a connection to the server gets lost while they are browsing. In this case the fault function also isn't
called. Is there a way to detect this kind of error? Should I check and reinitialize the web service before making another web service call? Does anyone
have any clue of what might be happening? Below is my code. Let me know if I am missing anything in the code.

I am experiencing a similar situation where a flash CS3/AS3 application using a similar code is calling a server side web service to retrieve/update data in the database. For some reason either a connection to the server gets lost or the web service call isn't successful and thus the fault function isn't called. Since you have asked this question a while back, I just wanted to know if you were able to resolve this issue?

Restful webservice call hangs during service call

I have requirement where i need to call webservice from my code which is external service opened up.
I am using Spring RestTemplate for calling external service.

when i have my request object(XML) limited to 2o elements my external service receives the request object then processs it and send out the response, if number of request elements exceeds 20 then external service is not receiving any request. mean while my server hangs out and seems to be waiting for response. I dont know where i am going wrong. I am using weblogic server for posting http request.

I tested using my Junit where i posted 40 elements and it was successful.. the problem happen when i deploy into weblogic server. server might be blocking the data for some reason ..

Issue was due to Https post and weblogic was getting timeout for some reason if data exceeds certain limit. so i decided to go with Http which solve the issue. looking into why weblogic getting timeout when using https; will udpate if i fix with https.
I was using default key store when using https post, does it cause issue?

Reports failing during execution through CMC

Currently we have the following configuration in our development and QA environments
Crystal Reports Server XI R2
Windows 2003 Server
Data used to generate reports is kept in Oracle 10G running on Red Hat
Both servers are virtual environment - they run on VMWare
We have a particular report that basically bails out 1/2 way through execution for a particular schema. The report uses a SQL command - the SQL query itself can take sometime when executed through SQL Developer - depending of the size of the data set in the schema can take between 5 to 10 min to execute. When running the report itt fails with the following message:
A Request was canceled. The necessary security privileges could not be verified. This indicates a problem with the security server.
In the windows event viewer we can see the following entries
Security policies were propagated with warning. 0x4b8. An extended error has occurred
A failure occurred while the Page Server was processing report .... (Event 42452)
A Page Server subprocess in the processing server was forced to terminate (Event 42445)
Your request cannot be processed due to low system resources. Please contact your system administrator (Event ID 42443)
A Page Server subprocess was forced to terminate (Event 42451)
There is nothing unusual in the logging folder.
We already look through the knowledge base and the only article that sort of resembles the situation is article 1407795. We confirmed that the report has no printers associated to it.
The report work with a smaller data set in a different schema.
We are at a lost - we have changed the JVM parameter to allocate more memory to Tomcat but it does not seem to address the issue.
Any insight would be appreciated

When CRS is installed, it defaults to run under the Local System account on the server where it's installed. This account is local to the server and does not have access to anything on the network. It sounds like this may be part of your problem.
In the CCM, stop each of the "servers", including TomCat, go to its properties and change the login in at the bottom of the first tab to an account that has network access, save and restart the server. Best Practice is to have a special "services account" on the network where the password doesn't expire to use for this purpose.
If that's not the issue, I would verify the login being used for the report and also that there's nothing on the database end that would be causing this. There is no "Security Server" in CRS, so this is a problem that is occuring outside of CRS but is affecting how CRS runs.

Does anybody know how to get a valid email address for Apple service? I am unable to call them during business hours and paid them over $200 a month ago to have a repair done ot my iPhone. I have heard nothing. They are usually good, but this time....

I have looked all over the Apple Store website but there is no obvious email address. I have tried to post feedback and 'follow my repair online' but the are not responding. Thanks anybody who can advise an email address.

Sorry, but Apple does not provide technical support via email, so they have no published email addresses. You will need to find a way to call them. Or make an appointment with the Genius Bar at an Apple Store, if there are any near you, and have them follow up.

WebService Call Fails for Communication Users

Hi
I am calling a BAPI through web service in VB.NET windows application.
The application works fine with Dialog users but when I use Communication User then it thows this message.
The Request Failed with HTTP Status 401: Unauthorized
Where as if i call the same BAPI through RFC with for this Communication User it is successful.
What can be the reason ?

The Web Service uses the HTTP protocol, whereas the BAPI is using RFC protocol.
The reason for the "unauthorized" error in HTTP is that you need to embed the user / password combination into the web service URL (assuming you have set the Web Service authentication method to user / password).
