You are getting the exception at very first point of Pipeline Service i.e Receiver Determination, do compare the namespace, Sender Interface Name & Sender Service name with the payload you are sending from web-application, they must be exactly same.
The best way to get the test payload is suggested in above reply.

  • Connection issue between Data service(DQ) to PI through SOAP adapter.

    Hi Guys,
    We are trying to connect the data services(DQ) with SAP PI through SOAP adapter. I provided the wsdl file to data services team and they are trying to send messages to PI. Looks like the messages are showing successful in there system, but not showing up in PI system.
    I tried the same file using xmlspy and PI receiving the messages from XMLSPY. We are wondering whats going wrong?
    Any idea about this data services system? Is there any other better way to receive messages to PI apart from webservices?
    PS: Connection is working fine from PI to DQ thorugh SOAP adapter.
    Thanks

    You are using soap sender  adapter ... Hosting webservices and DQ team is able to access your webservice.  Also using XMLSPY you are able to see pi messages.
    If you are using advance adapter engine, Please check only in the RWB -> adapter engine.
    If you are not using AAE, check in both SXMB_MONI and RWB for the wide range... Something problem with filter query in your checking...
    Note  since XMLSPY testing goes through Pi and able to monitor means you dont need another webservice client tool.
    Solution:
    use tcp monitor to monitor the soap message ... It is better option

  • Synchronous messages through Soap Adapter

    Hi XI Guru's
    In my scenario I am sending a synchronous soap message over soap adapter. Message flow is  like
    3rd Party Application --> XI --> SAP R/3.
    My message do get processed in SAP R/3 and I do get response in SXMB_MONI as well as in Message Monitoring in RWB.
    The return message for message f1bdf1d0-cec5-11de-a9c0-0050569626f6(OUTBOUND) was successfully passed to the waiting "call" thread.
    2009-11-11 05:27:26     Information     The message status was set to DLVD.
    2009-11-11 05:27:26     Information     SOAP: response message entering the adapter (call)
    2009-11-11 05:27:26     Information     SOAP: response message leaving the adapter
    But still the response from XI does not reaches 3rd party application.
    On digging the logs I found following message.  Can this be an issue in XI which is blocking the reponse message from reaching the 3rd Party Application.( I tried posting the message through XML spy and I do get the response in XML spy.)
    (Note : My XI Installation has central adapter engine)

    Thanks for your reply Stephan / Abhishek.
    To add some more info on the issue. This issue is when I am using PI 7.1 version.
    I do not face the issue if I use XI 3.0 and end to end flow works fine and response message reaches 3rd party application.
    Only difference I have in 2 versions is that in XI 3.0 we have been able to disable the soap adapter authentication (by changing web.xml file) where as in PI 7.1 we have not been able to disable that authentication and userid/ password info has to be provided while sending the soap message from 3rd Party application.
    (Security if not disabled gives 401 message as described on following blog [SOAP Sender ADAPTER 401 No Authorisation|SOAP Sender ADAPTER 401 No Authorisation] )
    On the other note do you guys know a way to disable this authentication on PI 7.1 version.
    Thanks ,

  • How to Call an ADF Bounded Task Flow Located in Another Web Application

    Hi.
    I'm working in JDev 11G TP3.
    I've read the section from the 11G documentation on Working with Task Flow Activities,
    specifically the section 15.5.3 on How to Call an ADF Bounded Task Flow Located in Another Web Application.
    I've followed the instructions but still can not seem to call another task flow in another application correctly.
    Can someone send a small example specifying how the (TaskFlow Reference) section
    should be filled in, and just a general simple outline of process to set the whole process up.
    Thanks

    Your EL for the remote-app-url needs to return something like this
    "http://www.acme.com:80/myapp/faces/adf.task-flow"
    where "http://www.acme.com:80/myapp/faces" is the root of the url you'd normally use to access the remote application.
    I filed two bugs:
    bug 6944247 to improve the documentation
    bug 6944246 to fix the fact that you currently have to specify the 'adf.task-flow' part. You shouldn't need to do that. But doing so for now will get it to work.

  • Call BW query from a Web application

    Hi,
    I am trying to call a BW query from a Web application. Could you please let me know how to pass the parameters to the query.
    Thanks,
    Rekha

    I don't know about db2 APIS, but you can use JDBC to connect to DB2 physical files/tables with the DB2 driver. You would need the jar file with the driver info though. I've done this with the webshpere appserver.
    import com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver;
    Class.forName("com.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver");
    connectionVar = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:db2://SERVERNAME/LIBRARY", "user", "passwd");
    That's the basic info that will get you connected and then you can access any files or tables that are in that library with SQL. You would have to use the Java API though - statements, resulsets etc. Hope it helps.

  • Call SOAP Adapter from CE BPM failed

    Hi everyone,
    i have just a problem calling a webservic on the PI 7.11 server from CE 7.2 BPM via SOAP adapter.
    1. I've created a very simple scenario on the PI 7.11 Server using SOAP Adapter sender. I've gotten the WSDL URL from the Sender Agreement. It is like the following:
    http://piserver:50000/dir/wsdl?p=sa/2e1cf474911939c89c0f5530b24c36f0
    2. In the Service Registery of the CE server, I published this service manuelly. The SR created automactically endpoints (http,https) for me. I tested both. They worked very well. While publishing the service, I've also assigned it to the correct system, which has the type IS.
    3. I've imported the wsdl into my BPM and assigned it to a automatic activity. I've also created a new service group for this service interface.
    4. After deploying the BPM onto the CE server, I've created a new provider system with type IS. In the WS connectivity type, I entered the wsdl url from above again and the admin user on PI server for the Metadata User.
    5. I've created a user in the "User Account Management" with connectivity type WS and entered the same user on the step 4 for the Metadata User, assigned this user to the provider system created on step 4.
    6. In the "Application Communication", I assigned the provider system from step 4 to the serivce group created on the step 3.
    7. Start the BPM and find out a very strange error message:
    Error during SCA Processing
    [EXCEPTION]
    java.rmi.RemoteException: Could not process message for operation SI_SearchSalesOrder_outbound in web service plugin module.; nested exception is:
    com.sap.engine.services.webservices.espbase.client.bindings.exceptions.TransportBindingException: Invalid Response code (401). Server <http://piserver:50000/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?senderParty=&senderService=SAP_CE&receiverParty=&receiverService=&interface=SI_SearchSalesOrder_outbound&interfaceNamespace=http%3A%2F%2Fconet.de%2FSalesOrder> returned message <Unauthorized>. Http proxy info:  none
    I suppose that the metadata user is used to read the wsdl information form PI. For runtime processing maybe should also I provide a user. But I have no idea where I can configure the runtime user in the NWA.
    Could some one give me some help on this position?
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    with best regards
    Xiang

    Hi Michal,
    thanks a lot for your answer. That's also my question. I've provided user to get the meta info for the WS on the CE server. But during the runtime, the BPM on the CE should also have a user to call the soap adapter. Normally we can add the sap-user, sap-pass behind the ws endpoint. But it doesn't work on the CE. Maybe I should use the principle propagation.
    thanks a lot for your reply.
    with best regards.

    Hi Suraj
    First I should mention that I have imported a generated WSDL from XI to create the Model and thus the port configuration. The URL looks like this:
    http://<host>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?Version=3.0&amp;Channel=:Telia_Kundservice_portal:Sender_SOAP&amp;version=3.0&amp;Sender.Service=Telia_Kundservice_portal&amp;Interface=urn%3Aacandofrontec.se%2FTelia%2Ffaktura%5ETelia_faktura_4
    Service = Telia_Kundservice_portal
    Channel = Sender_SOAP
    I've also tried with a modified shorter version which is also the one I'm using from the SAP SOAP client.
    http://<host>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:Telia_Kundservice_portal:Sender_SOAP
    The actual call is a typical one:
    wdContext.currentRequest_Faktura().modelObject().execute();
    Before this call the Basic authentication (user/passw) is set.

  • Generate Message Interface for SOAP Adapter

    Hi All,
    I want to implement a scenario like this:
      ABAP System -> RFC Adapter -> XI -> SOAP Adapter -> Web Service
    Currently the WSDL of the web service is known. It is http://www.abysal.com/soap/AbysalEmail.wsdl
    How can I generate the inbound message interface in XI according to the WSDL?

    Hi Jerome,
    Import the WSDL as an external definition and then you can create a inbound Message interface based on that external definition.

  • Reading huge flat file through SOAP adapter

    Hi Everybody,
        In one of our interface we need to read big flat file using soap adapter at sender side into xi and we are using java map to convert into xml. but before that i need to split this flat file into multiple files  in the first message mapping. and in the second map we have to write a java map to do the flat file conversion to XMLBut i got struck up in reading this big flat file into XI as i need to declare some datatype to read this entire file. Can anybody tell me how i can do this. is it a possible to do first of all with SOAP adapter .
    Thanks
    raj

    hi vijay,
      Thanks for your prompt reply. Due to some reasons i am not allowed to use file adapter . i can use only JMS adapter or SOAP adapter. we tried few scenarios with JMS content conversion but what ever scenario i am asking here is complex at multilevel i can't even use JMS in this case. so we are thinking to read whole file using SOAP adapter and then we are planning to split the file into multiple files, as file can be huge size ,using java mapping and in next level we want to use another mapping to do content conversion. SO I have to do experiements whether this is a feasible solution or not. because when u declare at sender side
    <ffdata_MT>
    <Recordset>
        <ROW>    String type
    when u declare like this and when u sent the flat file using SOAP adapter at sender side we are getting whole file which we sent at part of "ROW" as string. but inside java mapping i need to see whenther i can split this in XI ,so that i can use these split files in next mapping for content conversion. Hope i am clear now. I want to know whether it is a feasible solution or not.
    I really appreciate if sombody give some idea on this
    Thanks

  • Web Service Call with XI fails at SOAP Adapter

    Hi,
    I am currently trying to call a web service that is located in the Internet via XI using the SOAP Receiver Adapter. In the ABAP Monitoring (SXMB_MONI) the call is successfull. But when I check the Message Monitoring in the Runtime Workench I see the message failed in the SOAP Adapter. It stays in status 'wait' for some time and the shows a system error. I was able to call the Web Service via a SOAP Test Tool, i.e. the service is available and working.
    Any ideas why the message fails in the SOAP Adapter? What are the steps to find the root cause?
    Thanks and regards.

    Hi,
    >>>I was able to call the Web Service via a SOAP Test Tool, i.e. the service is available and working.
    but does XI have access to internet?
    as you used SOAP Test Tool from your computer and not from XI machine

  • Calling a separate BSP Page from a Web Application Builder BPS page.

    I have been creating a basic BPS application for manually entering data into BW.
    We are allowing users 2 options:
    1. Manual Data entry via a web Page created in the Web Interface Builder.
    2. Via a Flat File using the process described in the "How To" Guide on how to load a flat file into BPS Web Page.  This was done in the Mime repository via a BSP application (transaction se80).
    I want to incorporate both method on a single web page (or group of linked pages) so that the user can choose which method that they want to use.
    My question is: How can I call the flat file loading screen (created in se80) from the Manual data entry screen that was created in Web Interface Builder?
    Thanks,
    Adam

    Adam,
    You dont have to create a new tab also. You can incorporate the newly created BSP page
    below the Manual Entry layout. Do the following step
    1. Create a text element below the layout in web application builder. Choose Edit long text
    2.insert this code
    <iframe id="Text86" border="true" name="upload4" src="/sap/bw/mime/bex/icons/pixel.gif" width="580" height="65"></iframe>
    <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">
      var frame  = document.getElementById( 'Text86' );
      var url    = '/sap/bc/bsp/sap/z100bps001/upload_hours.htm';
    // set source attribute of iframe to new URL
      frame.src = url;
    </script>
    Now you should be able to the see the newly created BSP page below your layout.
    Coming to your other question on "hard coding" the answer is you shouldnt specify the absolute url, just specify the relative URL and system will take care of the rest.
    Eg. - '/sap/bc/bsp/sap/z100bps001/upload_hours.htm'
    Let me know if you need any help.

  • Launch webhelp Topic from a web application; problem calling another topic

    My client has a web application for which I have created a WebHelp Help Guide.
    I have RH8 v8.0.2.208 running on Windows XP SP3.
    When the user clicks a Help icon on the web app screen, it launches a corresponding Help topic. The developer has managed to launch the full Help Guide, at the required topic, by using something like "help/imrd_help.htm#edit_subject_details.htm". So far, so good: this works fine for the first topic.
    But if the user leaves the Help Guide open, switches back to the web app, works through to another page in the web app, and clicks for a new Help Topic (say, "help/imrd_help.htm#add_new_user.htm"), the old topic stays on screen: the Help Guide does not update to the required Help topic.
    Any ideas how to fix this please, so that it calls the new topic?

  • Calling web applications from another web application

    Hi everyone,
    I direly need your suggestions on how to implement the following requirements:
    I have a web application (i.e. App A). Then I have other web applications (i.e. App B, App C, App D, etc.) .
    For each of the other apps (App B, App C, App D), I need to have 2 variable/attribute settings whose values are to be set (pre-defined) per user.
    Meaning one user's values are different from another user.
    In App A, I need to call App B, App C, & App D one by one to get the values of the 2 variables/attributes for a particular user accessing App A.
    How should I implement this whole scenario such that I can set the values for 2 variables/attributes in App B, C, & D on a per user basis?
    Please help me get ideas on what methods or work-arounds to implement in order to achieve this.

    Assuming this is running on a server, how about placing your data in application scope?
    All applications have access to it. Just make sure every object put in application scope is uniquely named
    and that your other application knows its name. One suggestion is to put a collection object (such as a List) in application scope and add items to it. This way, every application will know the collector's name. They can then search through the collection for any object addressed to itself. Just make sure you send data into and out of the collection in a thread safe way. such as by synchronization.
    Here is an example of an object that you can store in the collection:
    MessageObject{
    String fromApplication;
    String toApplication;
    String message;
    }
