Websphere ,Problem in asynchronous messaging ,JMS

I'm trying to implement a asynchronous messaging through point to point communication in my application, I was getting an error like "javax.jms.IllegalStateException: Method setMessageListener not permitted" this is implemented in WSAD5.1.1.In this application my message sender program is working fine , only the message receiver program is giving me the error, that too because of the message listener being implemented.Websphere is not allowing the listener class to execute. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem in websphere ,It would be grateful if any provide me the solution with examples.Advance thanks for the solution.

Hi,
I am not a Websphere user but I took a look on Google for you and found the following:

Unfortunately it doesn't look promising...
Cheers,

  • Flex with JMS Topic/Queue for Asynchronous messaging

I have been working on Flex and JMS integration using Data
Services for Asynchronous messaging. I am able to do this
successfuly. Now I am in need to do the same without using the Data
    Services piece.
For doing this I have done the following ......
I have created a JMS Webservice in the Oracle JDeveloper 10G
along with Webservice Client.I am able to Listen to JMS Topic/Queue
( this has been created in the Oracle AS ) using this Webservice
and receive the messages from this JMS Topic/Queue
    Asynchronously.....
But If I need to use the Flex Client , I am not able to
Communicate with this Webservice to listen to the JMS Topic/Queue.
Did any one in this forum tried to communicate with JMS
Topic/Queue without using Flex Data Service. If so please share your
    inputs.

Here is my confusion (I'm using J2EESDK1.3).
On a local server I did the following
    j2eeadmin -addJmsFactory jms/RemoteTCF topic -props url=corbaname:iiop:mars#mars
In the app client running on the local server I had the code
    ic = new InitialContext();
// JNDI lookup. The resource factory ref points to the
// Remote Connection Factory I registered
    tcf = (TopicConnectionFactory)ic.lookup("java:comp/env/jms/TopicConnectionFactory");
// The env ref points to jms/Topic of the local server
    pTopic = (Topic)ic.lookup("java:comp/env/jms/PTopic");
So I'm assuming that I'm using a connection factory that connect to mars and a Topic on the local box.
On remote server mars, I deployed a MDB which use
jms/TopicConnectionFactory and jms/Topic. But I'm thinking this jms/Topic and the one I used on the local box are not the same one. Right? Then how could the app client and the MDB share messages?
Some of my explanation I don't if it makes sense or not.
ConnectionFactory is a way to tell what kind of connection it could generate (Queue, Topic, Durable etc) and Where the connection would go to (local or remote).'
As for as destination, I'm not sure. How could two server share one Topic?

  • Solution to merge incoming asynchronous messages inside OSB ?

    Hello,
What is the good practice to merge (aggregate) two or more asynchronous messages reading from JMS queues ?
I have to collect responses from a single request and merge them into a single message, so I have to identifie the responses in order to merge them with others responses from the same request.
Does a solution based on the SplitJoin can address this issue ?
Or do I have to store in a temporary buffer and call a Java Callout to read responses, identifie them and then remove them when all the responses have been received ?
Or is there another better solution ?
    Thanks for your help.
    Best regards

I am also interested in the answer to this question.
In my requirement I may have a large number of provider services so I don't want to hard code each one in BPEL. I also need to allow for timeouts, the main service should wait for 1 min and then send back all the results it has received.
I have gone down the line of combining the Scatter-Gather and Publish/Subscribe design patterns. The only problem is that the JMS adapter cannot synchronously read messages from a queue so I have built a POJO webservice to do this.

  • Asynchronous messaging on Orion 1.5.2

    Hello, all,
I am running Orion 1.5.2 JMS Queue and have 2 clients subscribed to it. Client A is the producer of messages and Client B is the consumer.
I use asynchronous messaging, that is Client B implements MessageListener interface and has an onMessage method, which prints the message as soon as it receives it.
Client A works fine - sends messages without any problems. However, Client B's onMessage never gets called... I tried all suggestions I could possibly find, but to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas or experience, PLEASE HELP!!!
    Thank you,
    Elana

start the connection on the receiver side? is the receiver using a selector that is exluding all the messages sent by client A?

  • Problem in receiving messages via RFC Sender Adapter

    Hi,
I have problems in receiving messages from SAP backens systems. Sometimes we are getting all messages sometimes not. Strange.
We are transfering report-results via asynchronous RFC calls. To avoid big message sizes we split them up in max. 1000 rows blocks.
Each RFC call on backend side is completed with COMMIT WORK!
We increased the number of connections in the RFC sender adapter. Then it was better, but the problem still exists! Not so often, but sometimes !?!?!
I hope everybody can help me. Thanks a lot!
    best regards,
    Hannes

  • SOAP adapter engine with system error, problem with fault message.

    HI,
I have IDOC -> PI -> SOAP scenario.
Idoc to PI is async. I have no problem in receiving the idoc in PI. The message mapping is carried out and sent to the adapter engine. I can also see the technical routing payload. It is sucessful at XML monitoring in SXMB_MONI.
The error is at PI -> SOAP.
I have wsdl provided by the receiver webservice. Which I have imported.
And created a service interface against this wsdl. I tried changing it to both sync and async.
I have also provided fault message.
I have set a receiver soap communication channel and provided the target URL like "http://xxx/services" and soap
action = processDocument. Also provided user id and password.
    I have a
    Sender Agreement
    Receiver determination
    Interface determination
    Receiver Agreement
I check in RWB adapter engine, this message goes to system error. The error log is as shown at the bottom.
When I see the message content, the SOap document shows me the details about IDOC, Instead I feel it should match
with the wsdl, where they have specified the corresponding interface name and address location etc. Please correct me.
How does the receiver know which service interface is it? The Service Interface which I created in the ER is
different from the WSDL, Does this have to be same? I see that the soap document in the adapter engine has the
Service interface name which I created in the  ER. Where in the document the Reciever interface name is sent?
Where can I see the generated soap document for the receiver?
Is there some setting/configuration required in PI for this to work?
I tried using the tcpgw to see the error. If I dont provide the service interface name in the communication channel
then I get the following error in the TCPGW. "The service cannot be found for the endpoint reference"
When I provide the service interface name in the communication channel I get a valid fault message.
    Similarly
When I use SOAPUI, I can see the fault exception being return. The adapter engine doesnot show an equivalent message
instead it goes into system error as shown at the bottom. I guess this is expected, if so what is the work around? (I found this weblog /people/alessandro.guarneri/blog/2011/01/10/soap-fault-in-sap-pi-hijack-it, do I need to implement this? Or use ALEAUD?
The fault message what I see in SOAPUI has the below format.
    <soapenv:Fault xmlns:axis2ns1="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
             <faultcode>axis2ns1:Server</faultcode>
<faultstring>nested exception is: psdi.util.MXApplicationException: BMXAA7136E - Validation failed when the
database default values were set. See the associated message for more information.
BMXAA4190E - Country NZ is not in the value list.</faultstring>
             <detail>
                <Exception>org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: nested exception is: psdi.util.MXApplicationException: BMXAA7136E
                          - Validation failed when the database default values were set. See the associated message for more information.
BMXAA4190E - Country NZ is not in the value list.
                /Exception>
             </detail>
      </soapenv:Fault>
And the fault message in my ER service interface is stanadard datatype ExchangeFaultData, which is different from
the above. Is this the problem? Can I change the data type here to be the same as above?
Audit log in the RWB adapter engine.

I tried changing it to both sync and async.
I have also provided fault message.
dont feel that you need to do above steps.
    I have a
    Sender Agreement
ideally you dont need a sender agreement (and a channel) for IDOC --> PI flow.
When I see the message content, the SOap document shows me the details about IDOC
this is fine...you may see fields as seen in EDI_DC40 of the IDOC...
How does the receiver know which service interface is it?
receiver need not know about the SI created in PI.
The Service Interface which I created in the ER is
different from the WSDL, Does this have to be same?
you should the WSDL (external definition) as the Request Message in your service interface.
Is there some setting/configuration required in PI for this to work?
    nothing specific...AFAIK
I have set a receiver soap communication channel and provided the target URL like "http://xxx/services" and soap action
can you open the URL from Internet explorer...from your machine or from the machine which is in the same network as your PI server?
    Things to check:
WSDL structure in PI and in target system is exactly the same.
does the target system require mesage in SOAP format (SOAP envelope - SOAP Header + SOAP body)?
target system is up and running?

  • How are the asynchronous messages persisted

How are the asynchronous messages persisted ??
    thanks
    kumar

    HI Kumar
    1. Asynchronous Messages in XI are stored in database permanently
    2. After processing the message, Integration Engine makes a datbase commit explicitly and the processed message is stored in the database.\
    3. Async Messages can be restarted when they go into error
    4. Asynchrous messages while being sent if there is some problem in connectivity or something the message persists and when the connection is up,it tries to send it again
    Cheers..

I know many have this issue but i can't find a solution to the problem. i get message saying insuffisiant disk space in the volume iPhoto library and i have plenty of space available. i have the new macbook pro with retina display. i have never seen this message before and i have 2 other macbooks and have had many other also. i am assuming this is a problem with the new macbook retina. does anyone know the exact fix to this issue? i have seen many sugestions to try to fix this issue but none have solved the issue for anyone that i can find in the Apple Support Community. thank for looking into this in advance.
    ******A true apple fan********

Actually your suggestions are the ones that i have tried. i have seen that you have tried to help others with this issue and the only one that i could find that said they found the problem said that it was an ilife update issue and it fixed it and i have no available updates. i know it has to do with something in photo stream because it happens when i create a new library and it is loading the photos but i get the message before i reach the maximum 1000 photos. so i've tried updating, new library(first backing up photos and then deleting them from iPhoto), reinstalling OSX many times, running disc utilities. I called Apple the first day i had this issue and i was the first person to call them for support with the retina display and i actually had it escalated to a senior advisor and we thought we fixed the problem but we did not. i am pretty fluent in dealing with troubleshooting these type of issues and this is the first time i'm reaching out to the community. i figured now that the retina has been out some time now that there would be an obvious answer to this issue. thanks for the quick reply.

  • I have two Iphones with different email addresses sharing one Apple ID. Will that cause problems with using messaging and FaceTime?

I have two Iphones 5 with different email addresses sharing one Apple ID account. Both are using IOS 8.
I would like to set up a new Apple Id for one of the phones and remove it from the old account.
If I do that, can I move all of the purchased apps and songs to the new Apple account?
Also, will sharing one Apple ID account with two devices cause problems with using messaging and FaceTime?

Sharing an iCloud account between two devices can be done without causing issues with iMessage and FaceTime, just go into Settings for each of these functions and designate separate points of contact (i.e. phone number only, or phone number and unique email address).  While that works, you'll then face the problem where a phone call to one iPhone will ring both if on the same Wi-Fi network -- but again, that can be avoided by changing each phone's settings.
Rather than do all that, don't fight it -- use separate IDs for iCloud.  You can still use a common ID for iTunes purchases (the ID for purchases and iCloud do not have to be the same) or you can use Family Sharing to share purchases from a primary Apple account.

I connected my sons Ipod Touch to my pc and it worked fine. Now, when I try to connect my iPad the following message comes up: One of the usb devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message.
I checked the cable. It surely is not the cable. If I connect the iPod again it works fine. If I use the same cable with my pc and ipad at work or my other son’s laptop, it is working perfectly. It is only on my laptop where the iPod was connected. Something tells me it got something to do with the drivers that went corrupt or something when I connected the iPod.
I searched the internet and I see a lot of people gets this message. Still no solved answers yet. Is there a place where I can download the drivers again or any other suggestions?

    Kind regards,

I was hoping it would be something like a USB device conflict, but now the shuffle is the only thing connected...
This article was one of the ones you linked to above in your initial post
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1369
Under Part 9. Verify that USB drivers are installed, did you try the steps in If only "Unknown Device" appears?  That appears to be your situation.
Also, you said that the shuffle initially worked well enough to do a sync, then it had the same problem again.  If you can get it to work again initially, before doing anything else, try the following.  Select the shuffle in the iTunes sidebar, under DEVICES.  Over to the right, go to the Summary tab.  By default, the checkbox for Enable disk use should be unchecked.  If so, check it and Apply the change.  See if that makes any difference.
(If Enable disk use was already checked, try unchecking it and Apply the change.  Basically, set it the "other way" and see if there is any improvement.)
NOTE:  When disk use is enabled, you have to eject the iPod in iTunes before disconnecting it physically.
If the disk use change makes a difference, that may provide a clue about the actual cause.
