2004-Aug-03 11:47:02.826 ERROR>WUT-100 [FileTransfer.defineFile()] Bad file information string: |0|S|Y|File Upload|Loading . Please wait...
I've checked the discussion forum, but I couldn't find any discussion relating to this error. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
Thanks,
gk

Harm,
I get the same error here, but my file is not being uploaded.
You need to provide a string to the progressSubtitle parameter of the client_to_as_with_progress function, not only ''.
This works for me.

    Has anyone webutil filetransfers running successfully on unix ?

  • Webutil_file_transfer.as_to_client  WUT-121 error?!

    I am trying to transfer a .csv file (22k) from my Apps Server using webutil_file_transfer.as_to_client('c:\temp/','c:\epsis/reports/serv.csv') command.
    I have amended my webutil.cfg to allow file transfers and other webutil functions work fine so I am presuming the install is good.
    I continue to get the WUT-121 error but don't understand why. Any suggestions?

    To transfer from the App Server to another machine, you have several options:
    1. Use the HOST command. This may be difficult depending on the server's platform and security configuration. If Windows, by default the process (Forms) will not have permission to access network resources (i.e. mapped/shared drives). You will need to refer to the Microsoft documentation in order to overcome these restrictions.
    2. Use HOST to execute a ftp connection for transferring the file. Of course the remote machine must support ftp. If you have access to "My Oracle Support", see note 110531.1
    3. Create a java class which could be imported into the form that can perform this task. Refer to the Forms Java Importer documentation for information about importing java for server side execution. Also, here is a starting place for the java information:
    http://www.google.com/#&q=java+transfer+file

  • WUT-121 error on 9iAS

    Using WebUtil, I successfully opened an image file in a form in 9iDS. When we moved to the app server, we encountered the WUT-121 error. The temporary directory space is not restricted, and this is in the file webutil.cfg:
    transfer.database.enabled=TRUE
    transfer.appsrv.enabled=TRUE
    transfer.appsrv.workAreaRoot=E:\WUTemp
    transfer.appsrv.accessControl=TRUE
    #List transfer.appsrv.read.<n> directories
    transfer.appsrv.read.1=E:\WUTemp
    transfer.appsrv.read.2=E:\WUTemp\199_60_89_70\MackJ
    #List transfer.appsrv.write.<n> directories
    transfer.appsrv.write.1=E:\WUTemp
    transfer.appsrv.write.2=E:\WUTemp\199_60_89_70\MackJ
    A process can open the client file dialog, and create the sub-direcories under the workAreaRoot, but can not then write the file into the work area, whethr they are listed in the above file or not.
    Are there any other parameters we should be setting on the app server? (server: Win2000, 9iAS release 2)

    So 121 indicates that the Access control check faile - the last time I saw this going false failures was when Forms was installed onto Unix and the .cfg file was still in DOS format e.g. had <cr><lf> line terminators.
    You are in a Windows machine so this should not be an issue - however, it might be worth checking that you don't have some non printing characters that prevent a match between the upload directory and the transfer.appsrv.write list.
    So what you need is to use the debugger and set a breakpoint in the WebUtil_core.checkASACL() function, you can also examine the package variables: m_readACL, m_writeACL in the package body - these maintain the list that is read from the config file.

  • WUT-133 Error Message is showing in different languages??

    I have a user that is showing the WUT-133 error in French in the English environment and I am showing the English message in both environments??? Is there a setting in the webutil.cfg or formsweb.cfg file to set?
    Thanks,
    Terry

    Frank,
    Sorry for the confusion. Our web application has 2 links, 1 in french and 1 in english. The client who logs in in english sees all WUT messages in French when he should see them in English. I did further research and found out that the webutil.cfg file reads the client's registry... We will try to make 2 different webutil.cfg files (1 in the english environment and 1 in the french environment). This will ignore what the registry states "English or French" and return the WUT error message in the proper language.
    Thanks for your time...
    Terry

  • Wut-134 error

    Hello,
    I have configured webutil file
    but when i run webutil_demo form i am getting
    *WUT-134 Error 2012-Aug-31  11:07:06.421 ERROR>WUT-134 [WEBUTIL_CORE.checkJava] frmwebutil.jar not in the Application Server Classpath*
    I have added frmwebutil.jar file CLASSPATH in default.env file.
    Thanks

    What parameters are you passing in your Forms application URL? Typically, when you use WebUtil you add the "?config=WEBUTIL" parameter to your URL. If you are already using a configuration parameter, then add the [webutil] section of the formsweb.cfg to your configuration section. For example, if you had a configuration section called "MyForms" you would modify the formweb.cfg as follows:
    [MyForms]
    ...Your settings here...
    # Webutil configuration settings copied from the [webutil] section.
    WebUtilArchive=frmwebutil.jar,jacob.jar
    WebUtilLogging=off
    WebUtilLoggingDetail=normal
    WebUtilErrorMode=Alert
    WebUtilDispatchMonitorInterval=5
    WebUtilTrustInternal=true
    WebUtilMaxTransferSize=16384
    #baseHTMLjinitiator=webutiljini.htm
    baseHTMLjinitiator=webutiljpi.htm
    baseHTMLjpi=webutiljpi.htm
    archive_jini=frmall_jinit.jar
    archive=frmall.jarThe key here is the WebUtilArchive entry because it tells forms to include the frmwebutil.jar, but I strongly recommend you include all of the settings from the [webutil] section.
    Hope this helps,
    Craig B-)

  • TS1424 100 error? Credit Card Processing down for 4 hours

    Any Clue?
    Attempting to buy Numbers and Keynote.
    Getting a 100 error followed by cc processing down. It has been 4 hours ...

    Leonnears
    I have the same problem, but being as you have had your account for 5 days by the time of this writing, I had mine for about a year. Recently, the security code showed up blank for the credit card I was using, and even when I used the correct security code, iTunes figured that it wasn't valid.
    Thankfully, (go shopsafe!) it was easy to get another credit card for a dollar or two (I just want to update my free software for free...), yet this didn't work, for it again said that the security code was invalid.
    Then, after a few tries, it said "Credit card processing is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
    Judging by other Apple forums, when this sort of thing happens, it's a problem on Apple's side, rather than my computer.
    I came to this conclusion when I came to a forum that had a bunch of different people complaining that they can't buy music on iTunes. However, that forum was dated in 2008.
    If someone finds contradictory information, feel free to reply to my post and tell me how I, too, could fix this.
    And in case it matters, I am using a MacBook Air with OS X 10.6.8 and have iTunes 10.4.

  • C4580 Wireless Fail (VSA 100 error)

    I'm on the second C4580 now, the first was just replaced under warranty due to paper feed issues, but I've had the same networking problem with both units.  The first unit was installed 7 months ago, and immediatly connected to the wireless router and worked fine.  The printer was unplugged and moved one day, and I never got it to work correctly again.  I uninstalled the software and attempted reinstall but got the VSA 100 error.  The printer's network test said that I may have MAC address filtering on, which I do not, nor any other filtering or protection beyond the WPA key.  Then the paper feed broke.
    So the second unit came earlier this week and much like the first unit it installed very quick and the computer could recognize the printer and I could access the printer's IP address to get to its home page.  Oddly, when I opened the HP solution center it said I wasn't connected to the printer until I went to the settings tab and accessed the printer's hompage through that, then it said it was connected.  Then the solution center started having a sort of fit where if flashed every few seconds that the printer was connected then wasn't.  Then the printer went to sleep (screen went dark) and I could no longer send test page requests.  I thought this might be the firmware issue that was addressed with updates last Spring (unresponsiveness), so I downloaded those files, but when I ran them they couldn't find the printer.  I then downloaded the HP network diagnostic, but it did not see the printer in either list (even after cycling the router and printer power).  I then uninstalled the driver software and attempted to reinstall when I got, wait for it, the VSA 100 error.  The printer does seem to work fine on a USB connection, but that isn't a permanent solution for me.  I've gone through my router settings to see if any other possible filtering could be going on, but can't find anything.  I even disabled the WPA password, setting my network wide open, and cycled the printer's power, with no luck, it didn't show up on the router as a device.
    The printer's network test report says the following:
    Wireless on- pass
    Wireless networking- pass
    Network name (ssid) found- pass
    Security- pass
    Printer settings consistent with wireless router settings- pass
    No filtering- FAIL
    Connected- not run
    Signal Strength- Very Low (of note:  the printer was sitting next to wireless router)
    Other networks detected matching your network name (ssid)- no
    Wireless Networks Dectected- 4
    Downlink Count- 5
    Channel- not run
    Network Name (ssid)- LookMaNoWires (of note:  this is the correct network name)
    Hardware Address (MAC)- 00:1f:29:f6:e7:d8
    IP Address- Not Applicable
    Configuration Source- Not Applicable
    Communication Mode- Infrastructure
    Authentication Type- WPA-PSK
    Encryption- Automatic (AES or TKIP)
    The computer is running Vista 64 w/Norton Internet Security 2009
    The router is a Netgear WNR834B
    I have no clue where else to look for this issue.  Any thoughts/ ideas would be appreciated.

    Have you disabled Norton firewall?

  • UD Connect: UDCADAPTERROR::RSSDK|100| error

    Hi All,
    My RFC connection with J2ee is perfect.
    While creating DataSource and while selecting Source Object getting following error.
    UD Connect: UDCADAPTERROR::RSSDK|100|Cannot open the connection
    Using BI 7.0 SP9.
    Thanks,
    Nagesh

    1. Make sure you have appropriate driver which can connect to target database under visual admin --> server ->services ->jdbc connector .. ( for example  name is  ORA_DRIVER)
    2. Then create  or clone from SDK_JDBC under  connector 1.0 ( under va -> server --> services --> connector --> connector 1.0 --> sap.com/com.sap.ip.bi.sdk.dac.connector.jdbc ) example SDK_JDBC_XX1
    A.... maintain  "managed connection factory" properties which connect to your target database system
    B... for SDK_JDBC_XX1 --> Resource Adapter  under "loader references"  "Add"  database driver which is decided in point 1 -      as  library:ORA_DRIVER
    Now you maintain your JCO RFC to backend BW system , create UDC connection and you will be able to see SDK_JDBC_XX1 in  "name of connector" and while defining extractor you should be able to see table name of target database.
    Gautam.

    hi
    read the following instructions properly i hope u r problem will be solved.
    How to get up and running with WebUtil 1.06 included with Oracle Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2 on a win32 platform
    Solution
    Assuming a fresh "Complete" install of Oracle Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2,
    here are steps to get a small test form running, using WebUtil 1.06.
    Note: [OraHome] is used as an alias for your real oDS ORACLE_HOME.
    Feel free to copy this note to a text editor, and do a global find/replace on
    [OraHome] with your actual value (no trailing slash). Then it is easy to
    copy/paste actual commands to be executed from the note copy.
    1) Download http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jacob-project/jacob_18.zip
    and extract to a temporary staging area. Do not attempt to use 1.7 or 1.9.
    2) Copy or move jacob.jar and jacob.dll
    [JacobStage] is the folder where you extracted Jacob, and will end in ...\jacob_18
    cd [JacobStage]
    copy jacob.jar [OraHome]\forms\java\.
    copy jacob.dll [OraHome]\forms\webutil\.
    The Jacob staging area is no longer needed, and may be deleted.
    3) Sign frmwebutil.jar and jacob.jar
    Open a DOS command prompt.
    Add [OraHome]\jdk\bin to the PATH:
    set PATH=[OraHome]\jdk\bin;%PATH%
    Sign the files, and check the output for success:
    [OraHome]\forms\webutil\sign_webutil [OraHome]\forms\java\frmwebutil.jar
    [OraHome]\forms\webutil\sign_webutil [OraHome]\forms\java\jacob.jar
    4) If you already have a schema in your RDBMS which contains the WebUtil stored code,
    you may skip this step. Otherwise,
    Create a schema to hold the WebUtil stored code, and privileges needed to
    connect and create a stored package. Schema name "WEBUTIL" is recommended
    for no reason other than consistency over the user base.
    Open [OraHome]\forms\create_webutil_db.sql in a text editor, and delete or comment
    out the EXIT statement, to be able to see whether the objects were created witout
    errors.
    Start SQL*Plus as SYSTEM, and issue:
    CREATE USER webutil IDENTIFIED BY [password]
    DEFAULT TABLESPACE users
    TEMPORARY TABLESPACE temp;
    GRANT CONNECT, CREATE PROCEDURE, CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM TO webutil;
    CONNECT webutil/[password]@[connectstring]
    @[OraHome]\forms\create_webutil_db.sql
    -- Inspect SQL*Plus output for errors, and then
    CREATE PUBLIC SYNONYM webutil_db FOR webutil.webutil_db;
    Reconnect as SYSTEM, and issue:
    grant execute on webutil_db to public;
    5) Modify [OraHome]\forms\server\default.env, and append [OraHome]\jdk\jre\lib\rt.jar
    to the CLASSPATH entry.
    6) Start the OC4J instance
    7) Start Forms Builder and connect to a schema in the RDBMS used in step (4).
    Open webutil.pll, do a "Compile ALL" (shift-Control-K), and generate to PLX (Control-T).
    It is important to generate the PLX, to avoid the FRM-40039 discussed in
    Note 303682.1
    If the PLX is not generated, the Webutil.pll library would have to be attached with
    full path information to all forms wishing to use WebUtil. This is NOT recommended.
    8) Create a new FMB.
    Open webutil.olb, and Subclass (not Copy) the Webutil object to the form.
    There is no need to Subclass the WebutilConfig object.
    Attach the Webutil.pll Library, and remove the path.
    Add an ON-LOGON trigger with the code
    NULL;
    to avoid having to connect to an RDBMS (optional).
    Create a new button on a new canvas, with the code
    show_webutil_information (TRUE);
    in a WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger.
    Compile the FMB to FMX, after doing a Compile-All (Shift-Control-K).
    9) Under Edit->Preferences->Runtime in Forms Builder, click on "Reset to Default" if
    the "Application Server URL" is empty.
    Then append "?config=webutil" at the end, so you end up with a URL of the form
    http://server:port/forms/frmservlet?config=webutil
    10) Run your form.If its Correct/Helpful mark it thanks.

  • WebUtil DS Form error

    Hi,
    I am using 10gDS on Windows Server 2003.
    I installed and configured WebUtil changing/adding lines as outlined in well written and documented WebUtil User's guide.
    I am using a Menuform for our Application with Separate_frame =TRUE. I have a pre-logon trigger but I am not calling any WebUtil functions from there.
    I did not have any problem installing WebUtil or compiling the form, but when I run the form in the DS I am getting the following error in the Status line of the OC4J container window:
    Error: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializorError.
    The seprate frame is rendered in a blank white window with the usual splash screen of "OracleAS Forms Services"
    without my Menuform.
    I have double checked my the default.env, formsweb.cfg; orion-web.xml and the registry key FORMS90_BUILDER_CLASSPATH.
    From the above error can anyone tell me where I should concentrate my triple checking ? Or can you give me the solution. I am not a Java person so I do not know where that error is coming from.
    Also, when I go into the layout editor to look at the canvas WEBUTIL_CANVAS, I get an error:
    "FRM-13008 Cannot find JavaBean with name
    'oracle.forms.webutil.ole.oleFunctions.'"
    I am not going to use OLE but would like to get rid of the error.
    Thanks for any help on these topics.
    Suresh

    Frank,
    Thanks for the quick reply.
    Until this week, I was not using WebUtil and the 10gDS Menuform never gave any error at all and was working fine.
    As far as the error stack is concerned, when I opened my Java console, this is what I see. It says access denied, but since I do not know Java how do I fix this access denied problem ?
    Prior to WebUtil install, I had read the Release notes. It mentions something about signing the webutil.jar file.
    I DID NOT DO THAT BECAUSE NOT KNOWING JAVA I THOUGHT I MAY SCREW SOMETHING UP. Shall I go ahead and sign the webutil.jar file as outlined in the Release notes ? Will that fix the problem ?
    Thnaks.
    Suresh
