Webworkers working, but errors in log
Hi all,
I have an issue on all web workers (both shared and reserved). The workers are running (and showing OK in the admin portal), but when I open the Role Log of any of them I see the following error:
Failed to run method 'Microsoft.Web.Farm.AvailabilityCheckMethod' on server 'xxxxxxxx'. Operation failed to complete.
Could not complete the request to remote agent URL 'http://xxxxxxxxxx:8173/WEBFARMAGENTSERVICE/'.
The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request.
This happened (maybe not directly, but some days) after installing the Update Rollup 4.
Can anybody give me a hint where to continue debugging?
BTW: The latest windows update for Asp.net MVC 2 is bringing my workers offline. I had to exclude it from the update list. Anyone with the same issue? I did not find anything related in the KB article for the specific update.

I am experiencing similar things. Came back after holiday vacation and my front end server, management server, and publisher as well as ALL of my web workers are showing the following errors:

DA - Working but errors appearing on the server

We have a strange situation where DA works for our clients but on the DA server under Operations Status an error is listed against the NLS Server - Network Location Server: Not working properly and then lists 3 possible reasons: Issue with the Certificate,
the NLS server website is unavailable or Operational Server availability cannot be determined.
Have attempted to run through the setup wizard, step 3 but when clicking finish comes back with an error saying there has been an issue and then carries out a roll back. Then I have to recreate the DNS entry because it deletes it from DNS.
The certificate we have generated is listed on the DA Server.
I have also noticed that the Clients show status as connecting under Workspace Connectivity rather than connected.
But I can ping the NLS server outside and other servers on our Domain. I can also access network resources with no issues.
Has anyone experienced the following errors as listed above but still have DA working?Hi BenoitS

Yes the NLS server is hosted on the DA Server.
Yes internal clients can connect to the NLS Web site and see the default splash screen.
We have logged a call with Microsoft to see if they can spread any light on the situation.

Hello Experts,
Our portal is being upgraded from 7.01 to 7.31 SPS 10, we have a customized logon module and are trying to migrate this application. As part of migration, we followed below steps -
1. Convert the par to ear using Par conversion Tool
2. Import into Java EE perspective of NWDS 7.31
3. Migrated the project to Java EE
4. Corrected jar class library from 7.31 except com.sap.security.core.imp.TenantFactory, which is not available in 7.01 or 7.31
5. Updated application.xml and application-j2ee-engine.xml as suggested in site with context_root and dependency on om.sap.portal.runtime.login6. Tried to deploy to server, the ear file got deployed
7. Previewed and the application was showing coming well with customizations
8. Logged into nwa/auth and edited ume.logon.application.ui_resources_alias to point to alias defined in the application.xml
9. Result:all logon related screens were coming as blank, logon was not possible from any of the links - irj/portal, nwa etc
10. Tried restarting, modifying authschemes along with editing the ume property. All combinations were tried but no luck.
I have done some investigation on internet, and have seen replies that all the JSP errors need to be resolved to get through the blank logon pages, but I still have 340 erorrs and out of which 320 are JSP erros on variables from <include> text files, more or less NWDS errors. and remaining 20 are related to com.sap.security.core.imp.TenantFactory. There seems to be no scope to clear these errors as these seems to be eclipse compilation realted or getting an library file which is not existing in 7.01 or 7.31.
Any inputs from your side on this situation on in general migration of logon pages to 7.3X would be helpful?

Boot Camp - XP works, but can't log back into OSX, any one else get this?
So I went through setting up XP on my 2.0 ghz Macbook and everything went smoothly. I have been running various programs in xp, and all the drivers for wireless, brightness control, etc work great. The problem i have is that now i cann't get the computer to start up in OSX. On startup it wants to load XP, so i hold down alt/option until i see the screen with the two harddrive images (one is the Macintosh HD, the other is Windows XP). I select the Mac and it goes to the apple startup screen, then after like 10 min it changes to a blue background and finally i get a cursor, but then after waiting for nearly half an hour, there is no progress. anyone else getting this? any ideas? i'm typing this message from Windows, which still works fine.

Check the Boot Camp forums, I think there are others having this problem. You might try your OS X recovery disc that came with the computer.
I'd suggest all those with Boot Camp stuff post in that forum, probably get lots more responses! -
Rolled back to iTunes 10.7; works, but error code -42408
After just upgrading to Mountain Lion, I decide to trash iTune 11.x in order to re-install iTunes 10.7 in order to be compatible with my music collection on an external hard drive, which was setup in iTunes 10.7.
I think I've done everything correctly, and my iTunes library now does work.
However, upon opening iTunes, I get "error -42408"
iTunes will proceed to work, after I clik 'OK'.
Any ideas on what "error -42408" refers to?
How to remedy?
Thanks!I don't see why your music collection won't work with iTunes 11, there's nothing particular about media files to particular iTunes versions.
iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297 > Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) - including specific error codes.
Error -42408may be due to residual later versions of support files than those which work with iTunes 10.7. Several possible options:
1) Restore them from another source (e.g., a Time Machine backup). Check https://discussions.apple.com/message/20441424 which requires you have a Time Machine backup. A variant of this is at: https://discussions.apple.com/message/20448184
2) Use Pacifist to re-install iTunes 10.7 and let it install the old versions over the new versions by responding "yes" when it asks if you want to replace files.
3) Untested. If you delete the specific iTunes system files the 10.7 installer might just replace them with the old version as long as it doesn't see a newer version in place.
This may include these files in /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ which apparently get updated by iTunes 11:

AirPlay works- but can't log on to iTunes

When i turn ón my Apple TV3 - it says something like "Update date and time" The only Thing i Can do is to push menu to exit. I Can now use the atv3 for AirPlay from eg my iPhone or iPad but i Can not log ón to my iTunes acount from the atv3 - I dont Think the atv3 Can connect to the internet. All my other devices have no trouble connecting to the internet - i have used the atv3 without a cable and with a cable that makes no difference - has someone Got a god advice for me :-)Hi Jacob-Moeller,

Apple TV can use either an Ethernet or a Wi-Fi connection. When Ethernet is connected, Apple TV automatically defaults to using that connection.

I have a problem with OEL 6.5 and ocfs2.
When I mount ocfs2 with mount -a command all ocfs2 partitions mount and work, but when I reboot no ocfs2 partitions auto mount. No error messages in log. I use DAS FC and iSCSI FC.

I updated to the latest IOS and now my passwords don't work. Reset 4 time which reset for my iPad and iPhone but I cant log into my itunes account using my apple ID it indicates an error, Help?

Crashed thread: 0If your startup disk says it is full, you need to remove some of your stuff.
Either move some documents/movies/pictures to an external drive (if you want to keep them), or delete them from your startup drive. Then, empty the Trash.
If you move them to an external, you will still have to delete them from the internal drive.
That won't fix Office (I don't think), but it will make everything run better. You need a minimum of 10GB free (more would be better).
You might need to reinstall Office. It should work without problem (well, at least as little problem as Office can muster). -
My itunes account was disabled for some reason. I changed password in iforgot and still didn't work. I could log in and see my music but not make purchases from the store or even redeem an itunes gift card so I set up a new login/account with another email account of mine. On the new account I can redeem my gift card and download items onto my ipad2. Is there any way to move my music to the new account?
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

I've had an iWeb site running for 4 months and I publish a monthly newsletter. Since August I've been unable to republish. The test connection under FTP settings works but I get an error message when I try to upload newsletter. Am I missing something?
Where are you hosting the site a what are you using to upload the site files to the server?

Trying to install an upgrade of iTunes on my pc but Error 7 (Windows 193) is preventing the install from going thru. I am logged on as Administrator running windows 8.1 on my pc. I have repaired and uninstalled a couple times These are my warnings

If you want to show Form1, you can use form.show() method
