Week and Quarter wise analysis on tw dates

Dear friends,
I have two dates field in my datasource.
1) Document date
2) Schedule line delivery date.
I can map field No 1 to Calday an get analysis on Week and querter level
but in the same cube i want the same analaysis for field No 2.
How can i make the week and quarter of the field no 2.

Try different rule group in transformation Like From two date source fields map one target KF then try this kF maping to Calday r month r quarter.

Hi RahulNot sure if I entirely understand but I will give it a try. To automate the scheduling of the report you can use either Crystal Reports Server or Business Objects Enterprise. Both of these products are built on the same framework and have report scheduling built into their feature set. Both of these products allow you to schedule reports based on end of Month, end of Qauter, or end of week. They even have the ability to set more complicated scheduling features using custom calendars and events.That solves the automation problem.The second problem that you seem to have is that the report needs to only bring back the data for a certain time periods. You can use Crystal Reports to add "selection formulas". Search the help to see how you can create a custom selection formula that filters the data to only bring back the last 3 months.PS. Vendor due date analysis refers to the date on which the bill becomes due for payment based on the payment terms and base date. It gives a detailed report of all vendors whose bill have become due for payment on a particular date (Key Date).
Vendor agewise analysis refers to the grouping of amounts due to vendors for various periods, for e.g. 0-30 Days, 31-60 Days, 61-90 Days & so on.

How to get Current week and No of Weeks for each quarter!!

Hi,
As a part of report development I have to derive Current week and No.of Weeks in Curreny Query. Based on these information I have to calculate Phased target (Calculated KYF).
Phased target = (Target for Quarter / No of weeks in Current Quarter) X Current Week.
We have to derive Current Quarter and Current week from Customer Exit (From Invoice date, which is an entry by Users at report level).
My questions are:
1) We have to derive Two Restricted key figures (by Calweek) for derving No of weeks for Currnet Quarter and Current week in Query level. Based on this info, we have to derive Calculated kef figure for Phased target.
2) And the output is 6 (ex:- 132008) char length for Current week and we have to pick Week info only and we have to populate RKF created for Current week. How we can achieve this.
3) Regarding the No of weeks per for current quarter, we are writing Customer exit to determine Quarter and no of weeks, but how to bring this info in query level.
4) Is there any standard code available (SAP Exit) to find Current week and No of Weeks in Current quarter.

Follow the below step for the doing the same:
1. Create a customer exit variable on calweek.
2. Restrict the created variable for respective info object.
3. To Populate the data write code in CMOD.
 in enhancement function module: EXIT_SAPLRRS0_001 -> in Include ZXRSRU01 write the below code:
WHEN '<variable name>'.
 IF i_step = 1.
 CLEAR l_s_range.
 CALL FUNCTION 'RSVAREXIT_0P_CWEEK'

Hi Justice,
Dateadd() function and lastfullmonth() date in 1st qtr , 2nd qtr, etc will answer most of date rage formulas.
example to get last week data then u can use {date} in lastfullweek()
or you can arrive last week / month / qtr / year date using dateadd()

How to derive Current week and Number of Weeks for present quarter.

Hi,
Currently we are developing a report on Actuals and Planned sales. We have two different data targets to hold these information.
CRM team will provide targets for BP monthly in CRM table, from where we are extracting the data into BW and report exection frequency is Daily.
Report Output format:-
1) Target1St Month in the quarter, Target2nd Month in the quarter, Target3rd Month in the quarter, Target Quarter, Month To date (Taget for Current month - Sales till today),
Let us assume we are Q1 and user executing this report on end of March Target1 = Jan, Target2 = Feb, Target 3 = March and Quarter target = Target1 + Target2 + Target 3.
We can achieve this by offset variables.
But if users are exectuing this report Apr (Q2) then Target1 = Apr target , target2 and target3 =0
Becoz we are in Q2 and first month of the quarter. If users are executing this report in May target1 should be Apr target and Target 2 = May target and Target3rd month should be Zero.
2) We have one keyfigure called as Quarter Phased Target = (Quarter target/ No of weeks in current quarter)* current week; For this we have to get No of weeks in every quarter and Curren week (when the reports get executed).
Let us assume we are executing this report on 25th jan and target for that month = 122units then Quarter phased target = [(122 + 0 (For Feb)+ 0 (For Mar) )/ 13] X4
4 is becoz we are in 4th in that quarter,
13 is becoz no of weeks in that quarter.
0 (For Feb) - Becoz we are in Jan only..
Hence please let me know how to get No of weeks in Current quarter and Current week for every quarter..

For the first querry.
the problem is because u are using calmonth.
Instead of using cal month use fiscal period.
When u use fiscal period the data will be shown automatically for the Previous months using offsets.
u have to take taht in ur transformation and should map it to constant value depending on the fiscal periods of ur compnay?
march- apr,jan-dec etc.
for teh second querry there would be some charecteristic which might give data in weeks as well just check that and if availabe u can use it.
am not too sure abt it.

Date wise all Sales orders data is stored in VBAK , VBAP and VBEP tables
So based on date you can group the data into weeks and Months and can display
VBAK-AEDAT take this date and do as per the requirement

Stock on posting date -storage location and batch wise

Dear All
I need to developa report exactly same as MB5B but with storage location and batch wise.
We need storage location wise opening stock, total receipts, total issues and closing stock, and values for given time period.
I have gone through some history tables like MCHBH and MBEWH.
But all the history tables are having fileds for period wise but not date wise.
Any focus on this?

You have to read the coding of MB5B to see how SAP is doing it.
The stock per date is calculated, starting from a month end, adding or reducing quantities based on movements until the date in question is reached.

How to get data for current week and previous week using customer exit in Bex.

I have a scenario in which I need to display data for current week and previous week (based on "sy_datum" the program has to calculate current week and previous week) in Bex using Customer exit. I have created one variable in Bex Query Designer and I have written code for the variable in CMOD. But it is not working fine, (I know that we can do the same by using offset value in Bex). Can some one guide me how to achieve my requirement using customer exit.

Get number of month, week and date between 2 dates

Is it possible to display number of month, week and days between 2 dates? either by using only SQL query or through PL/SQL...
Input:
From date: 01-Oct-2010
To date: 19-Oct-2010
I want output as below (Assuming the week starts from Monday to Sunday in oracle).
01-Oct-2010 -- (Since this is in mid of the week)
02-Oct-2010 -- (Since this is in mid of the week)
03-Oct-2010 -- (Since this is in mid of the week)
40 -- (Oct 4 to Oct 10 falls in 40th week of the year)
41 -- (Oct 11 to Oct 17 falls in 41th week of the year)
18-Oct-2010 -- (Since this is in mid of the week)
19-Oct-2010 -- (Since this is in mid of the week)
Note: If there is one full month between the given date, then the month number should be displayed.
After the month, the remaining date comprised with one full week, then the week number of the year should

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points

Did you fail to import them to your computer before restoring?

They are likely gone.
You can try restoring from backup.

Default selection on current month, week and date

Hi,
We are on Dashboard 4.1 sp3 the same version as BI.
The dashboard report is using LiveOffice connection. We are now facing an issue with default selection on current month, week and date.
The dashboard report drilled down from month, to week, then to date. The dashboard feed -live office report is on month/week/date ascending order - becuase we have running average calcualtion on LO report, it seems have to be in ascending order to get the correnct runnning average.
I tried to on Insertion to change default seletion, it works on month, but it doesnt working on week and daily.
but when LO report is on ascending order, on dashboard column chart the default selection is not on the current month, week and date.
Is there a way to solve the issue. Could anyone please help.
