Weird call forwarding issue when phone off PBX is on call forward.

Hello - have (2) 3600 series routers connected to pbx's doing toll bypass, T1 on one side E1 on the other. All calls work ok and voice quaility is good however when a user on the PBX behind the E1 puts his phone on forward the call fails with a fast busy type of error (actually it rings once then fails) ISDN debugs yield:Cause i = 0x81E020 - Mandatory information element missing then the router disconnects the call.

The 'debug isdn q931' command, shows the call progress and the areas of problems. Sometimes the call fails due to a timer expiration. In the debug command output, the time period from when the call proceeding flows until the call fails, gives a guideline for the amount of time required to complete a call connection. The workaround is to wind out timers, which allow the call setup enough time to complete the connection.

    HI all
    ive had to unplug my router a couple of times,   (to move some wires) or wife accidently unplugged it to plug in the hoover) 
    however everytime the router is switched off for any reason  it never simply reconnects.  i always get the bt hub page indicating there is a connection issue  and have to follow the flow..  
    selecting its infinifty  then it says try reconnectiing the red wire  then click "automatically" fix  etc.. 
    does anyone elses router do this?   its just a pain the **se..

Is this the BT software if so I used to get that message every time I powered up when on my HH2 ADSL system I'd have to go thru the Identify the hub picture etc... then it goes away and connects... what a waste of time...   • Pearl 8100 Charges When Phone off but not On

    My phone charges fine thru wall and USB charging while the phone is turned off but will not charge with either when turned on.  When I first plugged it into my laptop, the phone said something to the effect of USB charge not sufficient.  Since then, I've downloaded the manager and latest driver.
    Any ideas?

    When you plug your BlackBerry into the wall charger while its on do you see that message about the charge not sufficient? Also have a look at the article below about turning off power management:

  • I hve unlocked iphone and got walmart family mobile. I was issued a phone number initially with phone and then I had them change it. Now when I send texts caller id people see is the original phone number, and when I call it is the new number.

Now when I send text messages, they show up the original number, but when I make phone calls, the id shows up the new number, I can recieve text messages to both numbers. If you try to call the first number it says it is not a working number. On my phone, if I go under "about" it says "my phone number" and it says the second number, under settings, and messaging, it says that I send and recieve messages from the original one. T-mobile, has no idea why this is happening and has tried everything to fix it

    This is for iMessages only, not for text messages as in SMS/MMS.
    Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Apple ID.
    Select your Apple ID and at the menu window that appears, select Sign Out.
    Turn iMessage off at Settings > Messages > iMessage.
    Then follow these instructions.
    You can remove an iPhone from your support profile by following these steps.
    Step 1: Click on this link to open the login window of your support profile.
    Step 2: Log into the website using your Apple ID – same as your iTunes login.
    Step 3: Click on the button ‘Edit products’ and select the iPhone that you want to remove from the list.
    Step 4: Click on the arrow behind the product, and then click on the button ‘Unregister’ to delete the iPhone from your support profile.
    After you unregister your iPhone, on your iPhone go to Settings > Messages > iMessage and turn iMessage on.
    Go to Settings < Messages > Send & Receive > Apple ID. Sign back in with your Apple ID.
    This should re-register your iPhone with your Apple ID with iMessage with the new phone number only.

    Thanks for taking the time to try to help me. . I checked and the Do not disturb is off. The check is still there stopping calls from coming in when phone is locked. Any other ideas? Thanks again!

  • Why dont i receive texts or phone calls when my phones off or flat?

    I Have an iphone 4 and have had it for nearly 2 years. Ever since i got my phone i have not been able to receive text messages or phone calls when its turned off or flat.
    So if my phone goes flat and i turn it back on, i never receive calls or texts. I have tried turning my phone off then getting someone else to text me, then i have turned it on and the text does not come up?
    i really need help on this due to family or work texting me and i dont realise.

    I don't understand why you would expect to receive calls when the phone is turned off. By definition, it's OFF; it is not going to work. If you have voicemail enabled on your line callers should be given the option of leaving a message, which you can then listen to when the phone is on. If a caller does not leave a message there is no way to know that they called.

    I received my new Verizon Edge bill in the mail and it is $80 higher than my old plan.  I have been so unhappy with this change over.  Went through hell getting our second phone activated because of a weird computer glitch and when we asked if we would receive any consideration for the time, travel, and money we put into getting the phones the way they were supposed to be, we were told to wait until the bill came and then they could make adjustments.  Now I have the bill and have no idea "who" the we would be that could make adjustments.  To top it off, the only way I know my account will get any attention is to post this in chat.  I am so disappointed and will be counting the months until our phones are paid off and we can change companies.

  • Ios 5.0.1 dropping off wap enterprise network when phone goes to sleep

    Same issue that is being discussed about dropping off WAP Enterprise when phone sleeps.  Everytime I have to reconnect and I am ok.  It will not remember the connection.  I own the 4G and it worked fine all the time.  However when updating to the 5.0.0 and 5.0.1 the problem exist.  No problem with cisco linksys connection for home use.. Corporate use is an issue.  Don't see how it worked fine before for multiple users and as soon as we updated to 4G s software the problem started.   This is something in the phone connection and recommend a fix or multiple user will switch products !
    I have restarted phone, reset phone entirely, reloaded phone, reset network settings and master reset...No luck.  When will a fix be coming.

    I did not realize that it had different behavior when plugged in, I just tested and that is the case.  What I find interesting is that it used to stay on wifi all the time before I updated to 7.1.  Also, from what I read when I first got my iphone, was wifi uses less power than mobile data/3G, so that does not make sense to me.  If I have background app updating on it should use wifi when I am home, so it does not use up my data limit. Finally, I have an app from the cable company that gives me caller ID when the home phone rings, and it does not work anymore because the phone reverting to 3G.

  • HT4623 os6 iphone 4s wifi password does not save when phone is turned off and turned back on

    i just udpated my iphone 4S to OS6 and when accessing my secured wifi I add my password and then joins secured network.  However, if I turn the phone off and turn back on again the wifi connection is lost and cannot re join until I add my password AGAIN.  Tried soft reset and reset network but nothing worked.
    Any other suggestions?

    If you do a search of the forums, there appear to be a number of postings regarding iOS6, wi-fi security and random disconnection of wi-fi. It appears, as the posts have discussed, it is connected to the use of WPA2 security. Most of the posting, however, have been related to iPhone 5, not the 4S. As far was what was posted, they say Apple has been made aware of the issue and they are looking for a fix. Not sure if that would help the iPhone 4S, because it does not support both bands as the iPhone 5 does. Just remember that WEP is less secure than WPA2. You might also try restarting your router after changing back to WPA2 on the phone, depending on what the router is set for.

    Turn off Voice Control.
    Otherwise, basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).

  • Wifi automatically turned off when phone sleeps in iOS 5.1.1?

    Before, I used iOS 5.0.1 and wifi would keep turned on when the phone sleeps if I turn off data. This way I could always receive instant notifications. But then I sold the verizon phone and bought a used FU one, installed with iOS 5.1.1. Now wifi is automatically turned off when phone the sleeps, even when data is off. Is this how it works? Because I want to use wifi, even when the phone is off. Thanks.

    I have had and iphone 4 for the last couple of years with all the different IOS upgrades and never experienced such a thing!? I do not have a cell data plan (I even have it switched of in settings) so I rely on wifi and, even when the phone was in standby, the wifi was constantly on! and I received e-mails and skype calls as they arrived, So wifi was certainly ON!
    However, since the last upgrade to IOS 6.0 the wifi is indeed being turned off when the phone goes to sleep mode, which is very annoying!
    Any fix/workaround?

    When iPhone 4 switched off and someone sends a text message through why don't I receive it when phone switched back on? Is it my provider? My settings? Or phone? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    SMS is a carrier function. It's going to depend a lot on how long you have the phone switched off. Different carriers hold messages for different amounts of time before they are deleted as undeliverable. iMessages are a data function unless they can't be delivered, which case, depending on settings, the sending phone will try to send them as SMS messages.
    If this is an issue for you, I'd recommend considering putting the phone on mute rather than turning it off. Of course, if you are, for some reason, required to turn it completely off, that won't help. The only places I've been required to turn my phone off in the past year were on airplanes and while being detained at the border.
