Thank God that Adobe has scrapped the totally unusable "New" forum experiment. I for one am so glad to see the forum usable again. What a nightmare it has been for us users (and I would guess for Adobe as well). I sincerely hope that we have seen the end of forum tinkering!! LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE!!

Understood. Some OPs use HD, HDV, etc, interchangebly so it's worth

Be sure and test the Cineform color correction to see how it compares to the
Adobe color correction. You should be able to determine how it will perform
during the demo period before making a purchase.

One benefit of Cineform is the technical support. It's not without issues,
but they generally respond quickly.

Icloud erased new contacts and brought back old?

I turned on icloud on my iphone 4s and it brought back old contacts i deleted 3+ years ago and erased all my newer contacts. I had always had my phone backed up on my macbook at well, but now when I open the contact book, I have the same exact problem on my phone, and not only has it brought up old contacts, but it has listed any number/email address I have contacted but did not have saved (bunch of random craigslist ad emails and old teacher's emails) How do I get my old contacts back?

It's not really clear from your post. Do you have a back up of either your phone from when the contacts were correct or of your computer when the contacts were correct.

HT4314 How do I disable game center's "welcome back" popup messages or disable game center entirely?

Ok, this seems obvious but how do I get rid of this welcome back popup? Every time I open a game this redundant "welcome back!" message pops up taking up a good quarter of the screen and frequently causing me to die. I can't tell you how many times I've opened a game like Sonic the Hedgehog 2, only to die immediately because I can't see my character while he's covered by a big "welcome back" message. Of course, when that's the last life left and I end up having to restart the whole level, you can see how it might be way more frustrating than it's worth.
So, I've excluded game center from the notification center stuff, I've set it to "no notifications" (which shouldn't matter since it's excluded) and still it pops up.
I signed out of game center too because i'd rather enjoy my games than be frustrated and able to share the scores. Now it just has a pop up at the beginning of every game asking me to sign in, which is just aggrivating in a different way, plus now I I don't have the ability to use the game center. I read here that once signed out there is a button to disable game center, but that doesn't seem to appear in iOS 7. Is there a way to disable it without jailbreaking my phone?

May not be Game Center but something in Solitaire...whcih Solitaire is this, there are so many?
I have Real Solitaire, ver 2.5.1 and it has in the window when you win that you are not signed in to Game Center but never says anything else about Game Center.

In the options before you click on add finger you will be able to choose your name
And if you don't want it so you will click on i don't want it
and it won't say your name

If you want to transfer to a new computer here is the way-
1. Without connecting your iPad to your new computer -
A) Install iTunes / make sure the latest version of iTunes is installed.
B) Go to the Store tab and click on "Authorise This Computer".
C) Go to Edit, click on Preferences and click on Devices. Put a check mark in the box next to "Prevent iPods/iPhones/iPads from syncing automatically". Click OK and close iTunes.
2. Connect your iPad to your computer -
A) Start iTunes (if it does not do so automatically).
B) Right click on your iPad under Devices in the left column. Select "Transfer purchases".
C) When the transfer has completed, right click on your iPad again and select "Backup".
D) When the backup has completed, left click on your iPad, click on the Apps tab, and put a check mark in the box next to "Sync Apps", and then click on "Apply" (bottom right).
E) Unless you want to always do a manual sync (as I do), go back to Edit, Preferences and uncheck the box next to "Prevent your iPod.....".
F) Finally, on your iPad, check that everything is syncing properly. If not, go back to iTunes and check all settings.
NB You should not lose any apps. However, any 'purchased' missing apps can be downloaded again FOC. As with updates, this must be done with the Apple ID under which they were originally 'purchased'.

We are implementing B2C Webshop.When an existing user logs in , we want the system to generate a customised message say " Welcome back...." how do we do this?

The "amazon" dot com and the "ebay" dot coms and all the others do this with the help of client-side cookies only. In your start URL for the B2C, the initial action must read this new cookie, and with the information persisted in the cookie - like the email address (which is the userid for B2C), identify the customer from the existing consumers (Business partner - customer master) and get the customer name etc to welcome the customer.
1. Design a cookie that will stay in the client even after the session - with a long life time -- forever..
2. Add a custom action to read the cookie, read the key information in the cookie, such as the email address that is used to register by the consumer.
3. Use this id to check if the consumer is already registered consumer by simply checking the customer master for this consumer.
4. You can use the existing function module to to the above and get the key information (name).
4. Add this action in the init.do - action chain, and before showing your starting page of B2C. At the end of the action, persist the name in the request context.
5. So, at the end, in the JSP, you can check for this request context variable and say "Welcome (back) Sanjib Paul..." and in small font you add " If you are not Sanjib Paul click here to login / register".... that is what the Amazon and Ebay etc do..

There's a couple options. It's not the easiest. Another way to not have to wait is to call V from another phone 8009220204 and they can activate it and walk you thru settings. Depending on where youre located CS might be closed but if you got the prompt for emergency tech support they are 24/7.

Just as the title says Please bring back old AppStore.
The new card design is terrible with iPhone
specially. Before I enjoyed going through new applications
but now it's a pain. I almost never visit AppStore now days.
The whole experience is in one word painful.
The new design is much slower and offers little overview of the search.
Previous scroll list was just so much better.
Please please consider going back. I think apple has a philosophy like "if it ain't broken don't fix it"
and here is a good example of that.

Get back old Photo Booth effects?

Is there anyway to change the given effects in Photo Booth and get some old ones back? Or do I just downgrade PB in general?

If you are not running Lion, you probably won't have these new effects. Lion comes with some cool new features like full screen Photo Booth, or new Photo Booth effects. If the person who posted the pic was your friend or family member, just ask them how they got those effects.

Getting back old calendar enteries

I did not know my options were set that it only stored for so many days. I have changed it to keep them forever now, but I want my old enteries back in my calendar????? HELP PLEASE!

How can I get back old issues from my TIME app?

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I've been trying to get help for a month now. I had purchased several issues from TIME app but when I just got my ipad 2, I couldn't get the issues back. I used the same ID and password. I decided to try buying a new issue and when I did, I had an email from itunes warning me that it was not my usual ID. I am very confused. I wrote to TIME and they say I should contact itunes. I have spent hours trying to contact itunes for help. They seem uncontactable. Can someone please tell me if I can somehow get my old issues back?
