Assuming that a String has been declared like this:
String myString;
and that a value has already been assigned to myString, write a loop that will print the letters of myString in order, but on separate lines,
i.e. "Hello" becomes
H
e
l
l
o

Write a method called tens that takes a parameter of type int, and which returns the tens value as an int.
.i.e. the method returns the value 5 when given an actual parameter of 12354
if the actual parameter supplied is less than 10, 0 should be returned.

Assuming that a variable has been declared like this:
int rows;
and that a value greater than 0 has already been assigned to rows, write a loop statement that will print a triangle of asterisks of side rows,
e.g. if rows = 5, the loop would print:

JavaRanch. To quote the tagline on their homepage: "a friendly place for Java greenhorns." FAQs, forums (moderated, I believe), sample code, all kinds of goodies for newbies. From what I've heard, they live up to the "friendly" claim.

James Gosling's The Java Programming Language. Gosling is
the creator of Java. It doesn't get much more authoratative than this.
