What are the improvements with lli API's?

I keep hearing that API functionality in 11i has been improved. What exactly has been improved? More API's have been added? The interface has been enhanced? What exactly is the improvement?

Excuse me,
I got the answer by testing the remote API
And I have another question about the BPEL API which used in the console
I have success construct the class com.oracle.bpel.client.Locator
It providing a set of methods for invoking Oracle BPEL
However, the methods always using WhereCondition as parameter
therefore, I need to know about the database.
1. Could anyone tell me where can I found the database schema?
2. There are some deprecated APIs what is the preferred APIs of them?
- IDeliveryService.SERVICE_NAME
- IDeliveryService.request({Process}, {Operation}, {NormalizedMessage})
- IDeliveryService.post({Process}, {Operation}, {NormalizedMessage})
Thank you very much ^^

  • What are the limitations of remote API?

    Excuse me,
I am new to Oracle BPEL, and going to customize the worklist application using remote API.
I read the Sample Worklist Application for learning the remote API.
When I learning about task attachment's API,
    I saw a thread
    RemoteWorklistServiceClient -- attachment
Suddenly, I found that there is different between local and remote API.
Would anyone like to tell me what are the limitations of remote API?
By the way, could there is any API for retrieve process list?
The reason is I am trying combine some feature of the console into my worklist application
such as list process with details, deploy/undeploy process, active/retired process lifecycle and turn on/off process state.
I only found how to start process:
    Locator lLocator = new Locator({Domain}, {Domain.Password}, {Properties});
    IDeliveryService lDeliveryService = (IDeliveryService) lLocator.lookupService(IDeliveryService.SERVICE_NAME);
    lDeliveryService.request({ProcessName}, {OperationName}, {NormalizedMessage});
    Thank you very much ^^

  • What are the repercussions with removing my husbands icloud account info from my iPad?

What are the repercussions with removing my husbands icloud account info from my iPad?

Hahaha. Yes everything's ok on that front. I'm just not great at sharing my toys, so I wanted everything on my iPad to be in my name (not selfish at all, is it?). Anyway, was just concerned that if I removed that info, I might lose a whole bunch of stuff on there. I've since learned that I can keep his icloud account and " disable" the fields that I don't want to share (contacts, email) and keep the ones that I do (photos). Excuse my ignorance, I'm still a rookie on the iPad front.
So, that being said, I suppose I can tolerate his info being in my icloud. ;)
    Thanks for your help Barry!

  • So what are the advantages with Intel?

What are the advantages/disadvantages with these new Intel processors? Sheesh, I just bought a new laptop and now its outdated lol. Looks like I will try to seel this sucker, and buy the new ones when everything seems to stop updating at Apple...

Basic Advantages... Faster speeds, lower heat. This makes any portable computer very happy.
Basic Disadvantages... software compatibility problems? Native PowerPC applications now run in a sort of emulation mode. Users may need to migrate to software which runs natively on Intel Macs, or has Universal Binaries available. Could be an additional cost to the user.
and buy the new ones when everything seems to stop updating at Apple...
Stops updating?! If you wait for that, you'll never make a purchase. Technology changes very quickly, and it's nearly impossible to have the latest model for any decent length of time before it is updated.
Keep in mind... when machines get updated, that does NOT mean the previous model is obsolete.
I'm sure your current computer is still just as good as the day you bought it. No one is forcing you to upgrade.
If your machine still suits your needs, then stay with it. I'm sure I'll get another 2-3 years of solid happy use from my G4 Powerbook.

    1. Changes are on Procurement side in terms of allowing Service Procuremnet with Hierarchies, Hierarchies in Contract Management,
    2. Central COntract Management which ensures that SRM contracts can be referenced in ECC too. Contract management has advanced features like payment term ,currency details at item level....It is possible to send Contract items to SRM MDM Catalogs which makes it easy for you to handle contracts at item level in your catalogs

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and would like to install it on my new iMac with Mountain Lion. I have read about compatibilty issues with iPhoto.  Is there a way to correct this or is PSE 11  a better option?

Can I suggest posting this question in the iPhoto forum?  There are some true iPhoto wizards there who probably know the answer to your question.

  • Custom tables create in Apps schema ( What are the problems with this?)wwww

    Hello all,
I'm a dba in a new environment where a number of custom schemas are being created in the apps schema. I know this is not considered Oracle's best practice and I would like to make some recommendations for a change. Before doing so, I would like to know the problems that are associated with custom tables living in the apps schema. We are currently on 11.5.10.2 on AIX. Also, if someone can point me to any "Official" customization standard or Oracle documention where I can backup my case it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

  • What are the details of improved LR/CS4 workflow?

    Hi
I'm looking at Adobe's CS4 site listing improved LR workflow and integration with CS4. They mention merge to panorama, HDR etc as being improved. Given I can do this already in CS3/LR2.0 what are the improvements?
    Regards
    Michael

    >That is an improvement as it is the little things that can become tedious when in a rush to finish a job.
It was not a bug. CS3 had already shipped before Lightroom ever had the ability to communicate directly with Photoshop. When the CS3 10.0.1 update was released it included some of the necessary communication code (BridgeTalk), but not all. The links for features such as: Open as Smart Objects, Open in Layers, Merge to HDR and Merge to Panorama were not included in 10.0.1 because it predated Lr2.x. It's only with the introduction of CS4 that all of the necessary links and code became available.

  • What are the problems associated with Minecraft game and Apple computers

What are the problems with Minecraft game and Apple computers.  I've read that the two are incompatible.

You have a very limited amount of time before night falls and the monsters might come out. You have to HOLD DOWN the mouse button to hit things to change them. Hit the earth to dig a cave. Hit a tree repeatedly to get wood.
A two button mouse is superior, because a lot of actions require a left click. <-- OH That is why they say it is not compatible!
It is compatible, you just need to left click sometimes!

  • Looking for a canon with the same features as SD1100IS. What are the next 3 models after SD1100?

Husband's canon SD1100 was stolen.  We're trying to replace it with another but 1100s are not available.  What are the next 3 or so models past the SD1100 that would have the comparable features, speed and ease of operation?

    Hi A-Mo,
I'm very sorry that your husband's PowerShot SD1100 IS was stolen!
The SD camera line has been replaced by the PowerShot ELPH lineup. These cameras are improved in a number of important ways, such as better zoom lenses, and sensitivity to light for existing light photography.
I recommend that you consider the PowerShot ELPH 310 HS. This camera has an 8x optical zoom lens (vs. 3x for the PowerShot SD1100 IS), has a higher ISO of 3200 (vs. 1600) for low light photography and shoots video in "full" high definition (1920 x 1080 resolution) (vs. 640 x 480).
Please note: none of the cameras in this group of cameras includes the optical viewfinder you had on the PowerShot SD1100 IS,
    I hope this is helpful.

My question was not for a particular performance issue. I am thinking in different possibilities to improve to the best performance. I have statspack configured and we do tuning according to the stats.
Are you able to anlyze few spreport and give me your comments?Usually you have one or more particular issues that are worth to look into, e.g. particular standard reports that take longer than expected, batch runs that don't complete within the given timeframe, end-users complaining about ad-hocs reports taking too long, transactions that start to time out during peak workloads etc. etc.
If you're just interested in someone checking the current state/health of your system it's probably worth a try to post the most important parts of some statspack reports that you determine to be most representative for your system load. There are definitely some contributers here participating that should be able to provide some valuable insights.
I think it's always good to remember that the most significant performance improvement of a system is achieved by letting it do less work resp. avoid unnecessary work. So if you're e.g. able to reduce the logical I/O performed by the top n SQLs that put the most workload on your system significantly you usually gain much more than by just adding more and more memory/CPU to your system. Of course this is not the case if this kind of tuning has already been performed thoroughly but there is usually much room for improvement in this field.
